보육교사의 교사권리 인식에 대한 개념도 분석 (Analysis of Concept Mapping about the Perception of Teacher's Rights by Childcare Teachers)

  • Objective: In order to promote the rights of childcare teachers, there is a need to identify problems and demands about the rights of childcare teachers. Therefore, this study sought to examine the perception of childcare teachers' rights in order to identify the concepts of teacher rights. Methods: This study used the concept mapping method to identify the concepts of childcare teachers' teacher rights and interpreted these concepts utilizing the multi-dimension analysis method. Results: As a result of interviews from eight childcare teachers, 37 statements were derived. The result of similarities evaluated by 28 childcare teachers showed that 37 statements about teachers' rights consisted of two dimensions and four clusters (direct-indirect and indoor-outdoor of day-care center). Conclusion/Implications: This study suggested that direct and indirect efforts are needed to enhance the rights of childcare teachers and that change is necessary not only within daycare centers such as the principal but that change is also necessary outside daycare centers such as at government agencies in relation to daycare teachers's rights.

우리나라 보육실습의 현황분석: 보육실습 기관 및 지도교사, 보육실습생, 보육실습 지도비를 중심으로 (Analysis of the Current Condition of Student Childcare Training in Korea: Student Childcare Training Centers, Guidance Teachers, Student Teachers and Student Childcare Training Fees)

  • This study aimed to investigate the current condition of student childcare training in Korea. Participants were 221 university professors, 467 childcare center directors, and 1,260 guidance teachers in Korea. They completed questionnaires the current condition of student childcare training centers, guidance teachers, student teachers, and student childcare training fees. The results showed 64.4% of these centers charged a student childcare training fee, and 35.6% of them did not charge a fee. The average student childcare training fee was 41,000 won. This study aims to offer a realistic understanding and effective information on student childcare training in Korea and to suggest practical standards for student childcare training.

어린이집 원장의 감성리더십과 보육교사의 이직의도와의 관계에서 직무만족도의 매개효과 검증 (The Verification of Mediating Effects of Childcare Teachers' Job Satisfaction on the Relationship between Their Intention to Change Jobs and the Directors' Emotional Leadership)

  • The objective of this study was to investigate whether childcare teachers' job satisfaction plays a mediating role between their intention to change jobs and directors' emotional leadership. The participants of this study were 282 childcare teachers in Seoul. The instruments for this study were Director's Emotional Leadership Scale (2 factors with 18 items), Childcare Teacher's Job Satisfaction Scale (K-CTJSS, 6 factors with 40 items), and Childcare Teacher's Intention to Change Jobs Scale (1 factor with 7 items). These instruments were verified by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ as a reliability and factor analysis as a validity. The data were analysed by Pearson's productive correlation, stepwise multiple regression and path analysis by the SPSS ver. 20.0 and AMOS ver. 20.0. The results were as follows: First, there were significant negative correlations between directors' emotional leadership and childcare teachers' intention to change jobs, and between childcare teachers' job satisfaction and their intention to change jobs, whereas there were significant positive correlations between directors' emotional leadership and childcare teachers' job satisfaction. Second, the directors' emotional leadership was explained by 22% and the childcare teachers' job satisfaction was explained by 9% of their intention to change jobs. Last, the childcare teachers' job satisfaction mediated between the directors' emotional leadership and childcare teachers' intention to change jobs.

예비보육교사들의 실습경험에 대한 이야기 -보육교사교육원을 중심으로- (The Stories of Pre-service Childcare Teachers' Practicum Experiences : Focusing on pre-service Childcare Teacher Training Centers)

  • 본 연구는 보육실습을 마친 3급 예비보육교사를 대상으로 보육실습에 대한 경험과 경험이 남긴 의미를 알아보고, 이를 통하여 3급 보육교사들의 효율적인 보육실습지도 방향을 제시하고자 실시되었다. 이를 위하여 경기소재 P 보육교사교육원과 S 보육교사교육원에서 교육받고 있는 16명을 대상으로 개인 면담을 실시한 후 질적으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 보육실습은 실습기관 선정의 어려움, 실습준비 부족, 교육과정과 현장의 연계 불일치, 실습의 스트레스, 영유아 지도의 어려움, 현장의 현실을 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 보육실습의 경험이 남긴 의미는 보육교사로서 자신의 진로 결정 및 가치관을 정립하는데 영향을 끼쳤으며, 현장에서 적용할 수 있는 실천적 지식을 형성할 수 있도록 해주었다. 논의에서는 도출된 주제를 중심으로 보육실습을 체계적으로 운영하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

보육교사의 이직의도에 대한 조직문화와 직무만족도의 영향 (The Effect of Organizational Culture and Job Satisfaction on Childcare Teachers' Intention to Change Jobs)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of organizational culture and childcare teachers' job satisfaction on their intention to change jobs. The participants of this study were 290 childcare teachers from the Busan and Gyeongnam areas. The instruments used in this study were the Organizational Culture Scale (4 factors with 16 items), Childcare Teacher's Job Satisfaction Scale (6 factors with 40 items), and Childcare Teacher's Intention to Change Jobs Scale (1 factor with 7 items). The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's product moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS ver. 21.0 software. The results were as follows: First, the higher childcare teachers' intention to change jobs, the lower was their monthly income, age, and career level, and the total number of children that they had to serve. Second, there were significant positive correlations between childcare teachers' intention to change jobs and their innovative, collective, and rational organizational culture. Further, there were significant negative correlations between childcare teachers' intention to change jobs and hierarchical organizational culture. and between childcare teachers' intention to change jobs and their job satisfaction. Finally, childcare teachers' intention to change jobs was found to be 46% about job satisfaction and organizational culture and was explained the most by the director's childcare center management. This study primarily suggests that a director's role is important in the lowering of childcare teacher's intention to change jobs.

보육교사의 표정언어에 관한 사례연구: 교사, 원장, 학부모의 견해를 중심으로 (A Case Study on Childcare Teachers' Facial Expression Language: Focused on the Opinions of Teachers, Directors, and Parents)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the opinions of teachers, directors, and parents about childcare teachers' facial expression language. We performed in-depth interviews based on literature and previous studies, which consisted of ten childcare teachers, ten directors, and ten parents. From the in-depth interviews, we are able to mainly conclude that all groups think that a childcare teacher's facial expression language is very important, and strongly influences interpersonal problems and work performance. Mostly, childcare teachers aim to have pleasant facial expressions. However they complain that in some situations it is difficult to do so, which causes severe stress. They argued that the facial expressions of both the director of the childcare center and the parents are also very important for children. However, the directors thought that teachers' facial expressions affect children and their parents' impressions of the teachers and quality of childcare. The parents are usually highly satisfied with the childcare when the teacher has a pleasant facial expression, which motivates the parents to have a positive impression of the teacher. Taken together, childcare teachers' facial expression language is critical for children and the childcare environment. Thus, developing an education program for facial expression language would be helpful for improving the quality of child care. Plus, childcare environments should be developed so that teachers do not experience difficulty in having pleasant facial expressions. This result might have the limitation of being collected from only female childcare teachers, directors, and parents.

한국형 보육교사 직무만족척도개발을 위한 타당화 예비연구 (Preliminary Study for Validation of Development of Korean Childcare Teacher's Job Satisfaction Scale)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a "Korean Childcare Teacher's Job Satisfaction Scale"(KCTJSS) and to evaluate its reliability and validity. KCTJSS was 72 items and 6 point Likert scale. Participants consisted of 211 childcare teachers by purposive sampling. Results were as follows: First, Exploratory factor analysis resulted in 40 items composed of 6 factors : The principal's childcare center operation system, working environments and welfare, social recognition, amount of work and time management, relationships with co-workers, relationships with parents. Second, the confirmatory factor analysis supported a 6 factor structure. Third, Criterion-related validity was confirmed by significant correlations of the present scale with Early Childhood Job Satisfaction Survey(Jorde-Bloom, 1989). Fourth, the reliability of factors using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ appeared high, ranging from .83 to .93.

보육교사의 교사효능감과 심리적 소진이 영유아 권리존중보육 실행에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Childcare Teaching Teacher Efficacy and Psychological Burnout on The Practice of Childcare Respecting Rights for Infants)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 교사효능감과 심리적 소진이 영유아 권리존중보육 실행에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 I시와 S시 지역의 보육교사 398명이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0 Win program을 사용하여 신뢰도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사의 교사효능감은 보통 수준이었고, 심리적 소진은 보통보다 조금 낮은 수준이었으며 영유아 권리존중보육 실행은 보통보다 약간 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 교사효능감과 영유아 권리존중보육 실행은 정적 관계가 있었으며, 교사효능감과 심리적 소진은 부적관계, 심리적 소진과 영유아 권리존중보육 실행도 부적관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 보육교사의 영유아 권리존중보육 실행에 대한 교사효능감과 심리적 소진의 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 교사효능감과 심리적 소진은 영유아 권리존중보육 전체와 하위변인인 하루일과 존중, 아동 최선의 이익에 영향력이 있는 변인으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 영유아 권리존중보육의 실행을 위해 보육교사의 교사효능감과 심리적 소진을 관리하고 지원할 수 있는 방안이 제시되어야 함을 시사하였다.

보육교사의 건강상태, 건강행동과 보육의 질 (Childcare Center Teacher's Health Status, Health Behavior, and Childcare Quality)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 건강상태, 건강행동, 보육의 질을 살펴보고 이들 변인간 관계를 알아보았다. 경기도와 서울시에 소재하는 보육시설에 근무하는 보육교사 281명을 대상으로 하였으며 자료 분석은 일원변량분석과 Pearson 적률상관계수를 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사의 건강상태는 낮은 편이었으며 경력 3-5년미만과 30-40세미만의 건강상태가 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 건강행동도 저조한 것으로 나타났는데 5-10년미만의 경력을 지닌 보육교사와 30-40세미만의 보육교사의 정신건강행동이 가장 높게 나타났으며 3-5년미만의 경력을 지닌 보육교사의 신체건강행동이 가장 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 보육교사가 인식하는 보육의 질과 보육교사의 건강상태와 건강행동의 하위영역인 정신건강행동과 신체건강행동간 유의한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다.

보육교사의 자기성찰지능이 영유아권리 존중 보육에 미치는 영향에서 전문성의 매개효과 (The Effects of an Childcare Teacher's Intrapersonal Intelligence on Childcare of Infant's Right Respects the Mediating Effects of the Professionality)

  • 본 연구는 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 영유아권리 존중 보육의 관계를 확인하고, 이들 간의 관계에서 전문성의 매개효과를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 J시 지역에 근무하고 있는 보육교사 351명이다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 24.0 통계프로그램을 사용하여 신뢰도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 영유아권리 존중 보육, 전문성은 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 영유아권리 존중 보육 간 관계에서 전문성의 부분매개효과가 나타나, 자기성찰지능은 영유아권리 존중 보육에 정적인 영향을 미치며 매개변인인 전문성은 자기성찰지능이 영유아권리 존중 보육에 미치는 영향력을 증가시킨다는 것이 확인되었다. 따라서 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 전문성은 영유아권리 존중 보육을 실행하는데 의미 있는 변인이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구결과는 영유아권리 존중 보육을 위해 보육교사의 자기성찰지능과 전문성을 지원할 수 있는 방안이 제시되어야 함을 시사한다.
