  • The purpose of the study was changed of Flood Characteristics in Down stream of Keum River by the Keum River Estuary Dam Construction. The water surface slope of Kuem river after the Keum River Estuary Dam construction was steeper then before. The flood control capacity increase after construction. But, Increasing sediment in Kuem river will be decreased flesh reservoir volume for yield irrigation.

  • In this study, three different types of mechanical ventilation systems are compared based on their ventilation characteristics: tracer gas concentration decay characteristics, and ventilation effectiveness by calculating actual ventilation air flow rate. The experiments are performed by using a step-down method for measuring tracer gas. $CO_{2}$ gas, concentration in the model chamber. Application of a mixing factor, k, was used and measured values ranged from 0.68 to 0.77. The Type 2 ventilation system was found to have the highest ventilation effectiveness rather than the Types 1 and 3.

  • This paper introduced the thermal characteristics of Moss Rosenberg Verft spherical tank type LNG Carrier. Especially described the temperature variation during cooling down condition. It is not easy task to calculate the temperature variation because of unsteady state condition. In this paper, computer simulation program is developed by using a Tomas Algorithm on unsteady state condition and compared with calculation results and experimental results on existing LNG Carrier voyage.

  • When top down method is used, it could be a construction method trouble in column joint, between the former concrete and the latter. It could bring a void and weak concrete in column. The purpose of this study is to find a solution of removing void and air, way to exhaust air in top down column. through specimen concrete placing experiment.

  • The purpose of this study is to research a specific material characteristics of top down concrete at column joint and to reduce column joint opening. Based on the established top down study, the experiment to apply an real construction case is performed. When the concrete placed into joint of top down column, raised air bubble is left as opening. This study is examined the incomplete packing reason in the top down column and found to air deflation method. The result of study is below (1) As the method to minimize column opening caused from confined air, it is required that an air exhaust port installation in joint column. (2) From air exhaust port installation, most of air bubble in column part is exhausted. As the concrete placing height is going up, air bubble size is going smaller.

  • When top down method is used, it could be a construction method trouble in column joint, between the former concrete and the latter. It could bring a void and weak concrete in column. The purpose of this study is finding a way to prevent concrete void and concrete suitable for top down , through V-metering for top down column and concrete experiment. To minimize the void of reverse placement joint, It is more effect to use the sheath method then direct method in concrete placement.

  • The output characteristics of step-down piezoelectric transformer is changed by a structure of layers. In this paper, we simulated output characteristics of multi-layer piezoelectric transformers with variation of output layers. Also, fabricated piezoelectric transformers were compared with simulated data. From simulated piezoelectric transformers, the output voltage decreased with increasing number of layers. From these results, piezoelectric transformers were made and the output electrical power of the transformers was measured at resonance frequency and at other frequency. The electrical power of transformers was measured on each transformer's resonance mode. However, measured value of 12-layed transformer's output power was smaller than that of 6-layered transformer's one. It is supposed that internal capacitance and reactance of the piezoelectric transformer's were effected in this result. Therefore we need to connect other road resistance and capacitance in output circuit, in order to increase electrical power of transformers.

  • This paper treats the Ultrasonic effects on the break down characteristics of Liquid Dielectric Material 1) Relative Dielectric constant, Es of Liquid Dielectric Material at a constant temperature decreases in proportion to the irradiated time of Ultrasonic radiation and its intensity, and reaches to a certain saturated value. The saturated value varies with the intensity of Ultrasonic radiation. 2) Power factor of Liquid Dielectric Material at a constant temperature increases in proportion tothe irradiated time of Ultrasonic radiation and its intensity, and reaches to a certain saturated value. The saturated value varies with the intensity of Ultrasonic radiation. 3) Relative resistance of Liquid Dielectric Material at a constant temperature decrease with the irradiated time of Ultrasonic radiation, but the effect of its intensity is very irregular. 4) Break-down strength of Liquid Dielectric Material, at a constant temperature decreases with the irradiated time of Ultrasonic radiation and its intensity, and then reaches to a saturated value.

  • In this paper, The author present a load current feed-forward compensator by method that improve voltage controller of Step-down Chopper to get stable output voltage to sudden change of load current. To confirm the characteristicsof a presented load current feed -forward compensator compared each transfer function of whole system that load current feed-forward compensator is added with transfer function of whole system that existent voltage controller is included using Mason gains formula in Root locus and Bode diagram. As a result the pole of system is improved, extreme point of the wave and system improves, and size of peak value and phase margin of break frequency in resonance frequency confirmed that is good. Therefore, presented control technique could confirm that reduce influence by perturbation and improves stationary state and dynamic characteristics in output of Step-down Chopper.

  • This paper describes the results of a series of experiments executed by using two pilot-scale oxv-fuel burners are designed for maximum capacity of 50,000 kacl/hr, 300,000 kcal/hr and installed in the test furnace. The effects of turn-down ratio, excess oxygen ratio, nozzle exit velocity, injection angle, swirl vane angle and inlet oxygen temperature on the combustion characteristic are investigated. Temperature distributions are measured using R-type and Molybdenum sheathed C-type thermocouple. The results showed that maximum temperature and mean temperature increase with the increase of turn-down ratio and inlet oxygen temperature. The maximum flame temperature was increased about 35% compared to the case of equivalent air operated condition. In addition, Optimum excess oxygen ratio and nozzle characteristics are obtained for this oxy-fuel glass melting furnace.
