The study intends to understand the meaning of the family in the novel 「Aging Family」. The Novel texts were analyzed from the perspective of In-mo, the main character, using qualitative research methods. Findings show that his family members were non-blood related as well as blood related, and the meaning of his family was changed from a "family with no pride, no affection" to a family with "human affection" and "loyalty stronger than blood". Based on these results, some implications for family social welfare practices were discussed.

Medical technology being developed, the increase of the aged population brings about many changes in financial standard, consciousness and lifestyle. And the increase of a nuclear family and a professional woman makes their family not to be able to support them anymore. Because aged people also don't want to rely on their family, aged people households are growing gradually. These causes make a house and a living environment of aged people to new social problems and these became elements to determine the living quality. In case of advanced nations a house considered of the physical character of aged people has been planned and they can live with various services in their houses and community that they are living without moving: But a hou! se for aged people is initial stage in Korea. And most facilities are poor and just for protection and accommodation. Although concerning a house for the aged according to revised the aged welfare law, companies are waiting to build because of problems of cognition and regulation. Therefore the plan considered of the character of the aged is being needed for the independent and comfortable living of the aged.

The epicranial bony system of the six species of the family Cynoglossidae were examined based on the specimens collected from the coast of Korea from 1992 to 1994. They were divided into four groups by the morphological features of epicranial bony system as follow: 1. Paraplagusia japonica, 2. Cynoglossus joyneri and C. robustus, 3. C. semilaeuis and C. abbreuiatus, and 4. C. interruptus. Among them, P japonica showed the most derived character in the erisma and frontal elements of the epicranial bony system. And it was remarked that the number of proximal radials supporting erisma show much differences among the species. It is discussed that the morphological differences in the epicranial bony system are significant character for interspecific relationships in family Cynoglossidae.

This paper aims to investigate changes in Korean family structures by reflecting on the perception of traditional family rites and family systems. In-depth interviews were conducted with 17 married middle-aged men (9) and women (8) who had at least one child. Findings were as follows: First, both married middle aged men and women internalized Confucianism. They thought that the head of household, who was male as far as possible, was needed for the formation of a normal family. In addition, both of married middle-aged men and women recognized married women as outsiders based on Chul-ga-we-in-sa-sang. And they put parents-children relationships ahead of couple relationships and supported Jang-ja-woo-dae-sang-sok (privileging the eldest son over the other children in terms of the distribution of family resources and inheritance based on Confucianism). However, there were some differences to support the use of Hang-ryul-ja, which is based on expressing the character of generation by sharing the first name, and the importance of Jok-bo. which is based on traditional family genealogical records. Second, even though women internalized Confucianism, they did not attach traditional meanings to memorial services for ancestors to the extent that men did and defined family members as a procreation family boundaries unlike men, who defined family boundary as original family members and procreation family members. In conclusion, even though family laws and culture have evolved from the patrilineal family system to one which promotes gender equality, married men and women internalize Confucianism. Instead, some transformations are evident from the perspective of females in terms of memorial services for ancestors and family boundaries.

The color and its coordination should intensify the customer's memory and awareness in a brand website, through the consistent communication strategy by which a variety of brand identification in the offline could be expressed efficiently. We evaluated top 5 brand-valuable family restaurants in this study, how they made the best use of the website as a new communication channel, and how they constructed the brand identification by the coloring of a website. We found out that they employed colors with a dynamic and lilting feelings matching the concept of a family restaurant. In addition, A color scheme was well designed for the specific character of a brand, though web-safe colors were seldom employed. This report can be a guide to a corporation for the color and its coordination in the website, when existing brand images need to be intensified and enhanced, or when a new brand image need to be constructed.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data on preschool children for accident prevention and improve their health through sound, safe living environment with safety education established through more systematic method. Data were collected from 300 preschoolers(150 preschooler are assigned to experimental group and 150 preschoolers are assigned to control group) from 4 to 6 years old using APP paper test which consists of questions and drawings. To experimental group, safety education were done 4 times within the time of 30 minutes per 1 time using education books, video, OHP, slide. The findings of this study are as follows: 1. There were significant difference in behavioral character between experimental group and control group(χ2=11.690, p= 0.003). So, safety education have effect on the behavioral character of preschooler. 2. In the accident proneness on preschooler between experimental group and control group according to general characteristics, it proved significant difference in the case of accident prevention education were done, movement stability(χ2=8.844, p=0.012) and behavioral character(χ2=6.699, p=0.035), in the case of housing pattern is mixed-type, behavioral character(χ2=10.37, p=0.006), in the case of subjects' age is 4 years old, watchfulness(χ2=9.525, p=0.009), in the case of subjects' age is 5 years old, behavioral character(χ2=7.324, p=0.026), in the case of children's order is second, behavioral character(χ2=14.31, p=0.001), in the case of children's sex is boy, living safety(χ2=7.981, p=0.018), movement speed (χ2=6.661, p=0.036), bihavioral character(χ2=8.837, p=0.012), in the case of children's sex is girl, reasoning power(χ2 =9.78, p=0.008), in the case of childrens have no past accidental experience, behavioral character(χ2=9.862, p=0.007), in the case of nuclear family, movement speed(χ2=6.341, p=0.042) and behavioral character(χ2=9.326, p=0.009), in the case of mothers' age is under thirty behavioral character(χ2=16.40, p=0.000), in the case of mothers' school career is under high school graduate, behavioral character(χ2 =8.375, p=0.015), in the case of mothers' school career is beyond college graduate, reasoning power(χ2=9.803, p=0.007) and behavioral character(χ2=6.205, p=0.045), in the case of mothers' job is part time, movement speed(χ2=10.99, p=0.004), in the case of mothers have no job, movement stability(χ2=8.490, p=0.014) and behavioral character(χ2=10.11, p=0.006). The difference of accident proneness between experimental group and control group according to general characteristics, it also showed that there were significant difference in behavioral character compared to other area.. From this findings, we can guess that safety education change and guide preschoolers' behavioral character to desirable direction.

In this paper, 274 traditional fairy tales of South and North Korea were selected for research. The research was performed using a content analysis chart, and found differences in the number of characters, how ideology and social setting affect categorization of the characters, and what values are represented in the fairy tails of each country. Analysis of the general characteristics of traditional fairy tales of South and North Korea shows that South Korean traditional fairy tales have more cases where $1{\sim}4$ characters appear. In North Korean fairy tales, 5 or more characters generally appear. Analysis of the categories of characters in traditional fairy tales of South and North Korea found that characters fall into categories of family, friend and tutor, village, and the native country more often in South Korean fairy tales than in North Korean fairy tales. Character categorizations of county and foreign countries are found more often in North Korean fairy tales. In particular, the difference in character categorization of family, friend and tutor, and county shows that different ideology and social setting affected categories of characters. Research on traditional fairy tales of South and North Korea shows that traditional fairy tales of South Korea have chosen self-respect, self-restraint, fidelity(responsibility), understanding others, manners and honesty as themes more often than those of North Korea and subjects such as frugality, sharing, order and rules, cooperation and patriotism(ecosystem protection) we found more often in those of North Korea.

There has been not the research on the reason of success based on the characteristic of narrative and characters of , I defined the major characteristic of this genre as family animation, and aimed at researching strategic character and narrative. The characteristics of each characters are identified, and compared with other animation, soap opera, and sitcom. The portion that characters participated in the narrative was analyzed, and the relationship between the point and viewers was also researched in the specific episodes. 1) The characters against the ideal ones function to satirize the fixed idea pursued by the mass, and stimulate the viewers' desire. 2) All the characters are protagonist and sometimes antagonist, or advisor. The circulating position expands the target of viewers, and decreases the cultural discount. 3) It produces a couple of layered narrative, then children, teenagers, and adults enjoy the each different depth of the narrative, resulted in the target expansion. Considering on the limit of theme and target in Korean animation, I expect the findings above will enable to produce more valuable and consistent contents. Later, characters in the Korean family animation is to be researched and the expandability and sustainability would be ensured.

This study tried to analyze the case of character education class using reading for pre-primary early childhood teachers. To this end, the criteria for character education were established based on literature research, and a list of books appropriate for it was selected, and then applied to practice. The goal of character education class using reading for pre-school teachers is to cultivate the character that an early childhood teacher should have and to develop the ability to apply character education program through reading to young children. This study selected books based on the contents of personality virtues after taking a course on the concept and theory of personality contents for college students who are taking the 'personality and emotional reading' course in their major. Therefore, this study is meaningful in that it presents contents that can be practiced in connection with the family as a personality education program that can be applied not only to pre-primary teachers, but also to early childhood teachers and young children.

It can be assumed that the reasons why the animation characters, 'Olaf (in Frozen Kingdom)' and 'Minions (in Super Bad)', etc., which were very successful in the merchandising market while having won the popularity better than the main characters are very popular even though such characters appeared only by playing a funny role while assisting the adventures of the main characters are not only because of their cute appearances but also because such characters have their own core features in their inner world as the transitional object-characters. Simply expressing, a 'Transitional Object' as a concept suggested by a child psychologist, 'Donald Winnicott', means a lovey doll or an imaginary friend which temporarily replaces an infant's mother during the procedure when the infant is mentally separated from its mother. However, in case that the theory of transitional objects was applied directly to many narrative content characters for doing a study, there must have been done some studies in advance for establishing some new criteria and indexes related to the transitional object-characters of such narrative contents. Accordingly, while thinking that the 'emotional relationship' between a growth-subject and a growth mediator must be dealt with as the most important content in order to define a transitional object-character in a narration clearly, this researcher established some emotional index for judging the propensities of a transitional object-character on the basis of such way of thinking. The index is composed of 4 kinds of emotional roles (quasi-family member, growth mediator, lovey doll, an imaginary friend), 6 kinds of emotional supports (hugging, protecting, accepting, giving the initiative, improving the relationship and mutual supervising) and 4 kinds of emotional impressions (impression by contacting, impression to protect and impression accepting an attack). In case that some main characters of a family feature animation, 'Inside Out', are analyzed while the index mentioned above is applied, it was found that 'Bing Bong' and 'Sadness' have a high propensity as a transitional object-character. Especially, it could be inversely inferred in which ways some good transitional object-characters can help the narrations on growth of a family feature animation by taking a look at the character, 'Sadness' that has the highest propensity as a transitional object-character. The transitional object-character, 'Sadness' assists the narration on growth internally and externally by helping the internal maturity of a growth-subject in a way of projecting the tasks for the internal maturity of a growth-subject while helping the growth-subject to be successfully externally in a way of providing the growth-subject with some kinds of facilitating emotion. As the results from this Study, since such kinds of emotional experiences provided by such transitional object-characters are displaced to not only the relevant growth-subjects but also the audience who are emphasized with such growth-subjects as they are, such transitional object-characters play a role of hidden benefactors who induce some immersion into the narrations and provide child and adult audience with various layers of emotional satisfaction.
