We apply the techniques of interpolation and extrapolation to derive a new estimator based on centered modified systematic sampling for the mean of a population which has a linear trend. The efficiency of the proposed estimation method is compared with that of various existing methods. An illustrative numerical example is given.

The purpose of this paper is in establishment of the country measures to protect society from juvenile delinquency and bring up of sound juvenility. This paper studies by means of a literature standing method and statistics analysis with respect condition of juvenile delinquency centering on the recent data. And I concluded in the final part of this thesis that incessant education, concerns of home, school, society about the youth are the best ways to prevent the juvenile delinquency.

An interactive multicriteria method, which is called the Modified Pairwise Comparison Stochastic Cutting Plane (MPCSCP) method, is proposed for determining the best levels of the integer decision variables needed to optimize a stochastic computer simulation with multiple response functions. MPCSCP combines good features from interactive tradeoff cutting plane methods and response surface methodologies. The proposed method uses a simple pairwise man-machine interaction and searches an integer space uniformly by using the experimental design which evaluates the decision space centering around an integer center point. The characteristics of the proposed method are investigated through an extensive computational study. The parameter configurations examined in the study are (1) variability of the sampling errors, (2) the size of experimental design, (3) the relaxation of cutting planes, and (4) the levels of decision maker's inconsistency.

Pusan is the largest coastal city with a population of about four mi18ion in Korea. Because of increased and confused traffic, photochemical air pollution become a major urban environmental problem recently. The photo-chemical air pollution weather forecasting method preciser than existing air pollution forecast method has been developed to forecast ozone episode days with meteorological conditions using the data measured at 7 air quality continuous monitoring stations from lune to September using 2 years (1994, 1995). The method developed in present study showed higher percentage correct and skill score than existing air pollution forecasting in KMA ( Korea Meteorological Administration).

This study aims at clarifying the action types of skin management which is base on age, marriage or not, family composition, school career, and income which are demographic variables centering around the lifestyle of middleaged and old age women. As for study method, this researcher executed literature study and questionnaire on adult women over 45 years old who dwell in Seoul and Kyounggi area. Survey period was Mar. 1, 2009 to Jun. 30. And, after distributing 1,000 copies of questionnaire, this researcher used effective 869 copies of questionnaire for analysis out of collected questionnaire, 895 copies. As for analysis method, this researcher executed DUNCAN test with factor analysis, reliability analysis, manin component analysis, K-average, multitude analysis, dispersion analysis and post verification by using SPSS 12.0 program. As for demographic feature for middle aged and old age women, 50~59 years old women were most by age as 302 persons(33.7%). It is emerging that spouse existence is very high as 674 persons(75.3%) in the answer for marriage or not, couple family to live with unmarried children is very high as 483 persons(54.0%) in the answer for family composition, leaving high school in mid-course or gradation of high school are very high as 356 persons(39.8%) in the answer for school career, income from 3 million Won under 4 million won is very high as 260 persons(29.1%) in the answer for monthly income of family members, and women to use under 50 thousand won is very high as 510 persons(57.0%) in the monthly average expense to be used for skin management. In this study, this researcher extracted total 5 factors (economic saving, displaying consumption, confidence inclination, centering around family, and leisure application) by executing factor analysis with 12 question items of lifestyle so as to grasp factor structure of lifestyle of middleaged and old age people, and whole explanatory variable quantity was 70.9%. This researcher named as economic saving type, diplaying consumption style, and type centering around leisure and family, after making multitude analysis about 5 factors analyzed by measuring lifestyle feature. As the result of structure analysis of question items of skin management(pursuit of skin management, life of skin management, and inclination of skin management), this researcher extracted total 3 factors, and whole explanatory variable quantity was 71.30%. Thus, it emerged that there is significant difference among groups.

This study aims to create artworks where characteristics of paintings appear by converging beauty illustration that conducts proactive activities in an area of arts with watercolor techniques. It carries academic significance in that it delves into convergence design that reflects creative expression by putting the spotlight on diversified expressive methods of beauty illustraion through watercolor techniques. As for a method of the study, preceding studies and technical books were examined, and a total of four beauty illustration artworks were created centering on art makeup design by classifying watercolor techniques into gradient technique and overlap lining technique. First of all, the result made it possible for watercolor techniques to explore unlimited possibilities at a time of suggesting another expressive method of beauty illustration. Second, it was possible to express unique art makeup design through clear and candid characteristics inherent in watercolor paintings. In this regard, the study enhanced accessibility by departing from limited expression methods applied to beauty illustration to induce a wider range of artworks. It is hoped that beauty illustration can be specialized to achieve an independent artistic domain equipped with diversity and professionalism.

All artists set the arrangement of relative probability subjectively by giving the contrast of color and chroma to give higher probability of some colors in their works and then perform the mechanical assignment. Also the analysis of plastic structure in all areas of design has been made by subjective and qualitative method based on the emotion, intuition and experience of interpreter of design structures and that of color structures was done by the same method. Therefore this study compares and suggests the style characteristics of modern and postmodern design with the object quantitative analysis of color structure by selecting and applying Ilya Chashinik's ceramic dishes as the analysis product of modern design and Jim Melchert's ceramic wall painting as that of postmodern design of 'analysis model of color structure' researched and developed for the quantitative information analysis based on information and communication theory and it is also meaningful in introducing and presenting the analytic procedure and methods centering around quantitative analysis model of color structure analysis.

In this study, a field test was conducted to present a test method for performance evaluation of a rock fall prevention fence, centering on the vertical drop test among the existing test methods of the rock fall prevention fence. A test to determine the support capacity of a rockfall prevention fence in Korea is usually conducted using a combination of wire mesh, poles, and wire rope, and the location of the impact of falling rocks has been conducted centered on the center of the wire mesh. However, in the case of domestic papers and test data, there is no data on direct hit of post. Therefore, the amount of displacement and weak section were analyzed when the impact on 100kJ class rock energy was hit on the post, centering on the Rockfall Protection fence (highway type No. 2).
