An experimental investigation was carried out to study the strength and behavior of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) frames with ferrocement and fiber reinforced concrete infill panel. Seven numbers of $1/4^{th}$ scaled down model of one bay-three storey frames were tested under reverse cyclic loading. Ferrocement infilled frames and fiber reinforced concrete infilled frames with varying volume fraction of reinforcement in infill panels viz; 0.20%, 0.30%, and 0.40% were tested and compared with the bare frame. The experimental results indicate that the strength, stiffness and energy dissipation capacity of infilled frames were considerably improved when compared with the bare frame. In the case of infilled frames with equal volume fraction of reinforcement in infill panels, the strength and stiffness of frames with fiber reinforced concrete infill panels were slightly higher than those with ferrocement infill panels. Increase in volume fraction of reinforcement in the infill panels exhibited only marginal improvement in the strength and behavior of the infilled frames.

The cement-based composites have relatively low tensile strength and toughness. The fiber addition is one of the most important ways of increasing the toughness of concrete. The steel fibers have been used conventionally in the shotcrete of tunnel lining. Recently, the structural synthetic fibers were developed and used frequently in some actual tunnel shotcreting in foreign countries. There are so many method to evaluate a toughness; ASTM, JCI, EFNARC, etc. But these methods contain a few defects. So most researchers are studying to develope a new toughness evaluation method. A RTA is one of these methods. The purpose of this study is to explore the strength and toughness characteristic of the fiber reinforced concrete panel according to the geometry; diameter, thickness. The result were compared with those of steel fiber reinforced concrete.

Polymer concrete has more useful than cement concrete in the strength and durability. So, it is widely utilizing as panel for wall, manhole for communication, foundation and underground connection box, etc. But polymer concrete is a defect that is disadvantageous in economical aspect because cost of resin is expensive. Polymer concrete (PC) using unsaturated polyester resins based on recycled polyethylene terephthalate(PET) plastic waste were used in our study for grasping its mechanical properties such as compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength and chemical resistance was tested by dealing with 20% HCl, 30% NaOH. As a result of it, compressive, tensile and flexural strength of PC indicated 752kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$, 80kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and 243kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ kind of satisfaction successively. Also, properties of chemical resistance are superior to those of cement concrete.

Researches for the development of renewable energy as a fuel substitute for global warming and depletion of petroleum resources are actively being carried out. Among them, the annual growth rate of PV generation is 20.73%, which is higher than other renewable energy sources. However, the production of 1 ton of polysilicon, which is known as a raw material for solar power generation panels, generates 2 tons of waste. As the demand for PV panels increases, the problem of the treatment of polysilicon sludge is attracting attention, and studies on the utilization of polysilicon sludge are needed. Therefore, in this study, the applicability of polysilicon sludge treated as industrial waste to the lightweight panel for architectural purposes was examined.

Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete(ALC) features such as a high performance insulation, the fire resistance, the advantage of easy handing construction, and lightweight panels applied the curtain wall system. ALC materials are certified as non-toxic environmental and eco-friendly productions. But ALC external panels mixed with blast furnace slag pounder and silica fume have to be coated with a stucco compound or plaster because of resisting the ambient environment. This study is that mixing tests to evaluate a performance analysis of exterior paints to be make-up pigments(organic or inorganic) coated with panel surface. Testing compared by KS F 2476; flow test, KS F 2426; compression strength test, KS F 2762; bond strength test. In results, the case of the inorganic binder, ratio of alumina cement : anhydrite is 90:10 to 80:20 at the highest level of intensity. In the case of the organic binder, adhesive strength rating at surface of ALC, the pullout strength is below 0.5 $N/mm^2$ but the normal concrete is over 2.0$N/mm^2$. A contents ratio of EVA resin is more than 3% and then bond strength is effectively.

Recently, the reason of using foamed concrete is for core of panel, filler of construction material to give lightness. However, cement causes environmental problem. The cement generates CO2 but we normally use cement during manufacturing foamed concrete. Accordingly, this study focuses on dynamic properties of matrix according to the addition ratio of paper ash to make lightweight matrix with blast furnace slag and paper ash which are industrial by-product. The experiment progessed in order to select th optimum mixing ratio of the blast furnace slag and paper ash. There are totally 7 levels such as B100:P0, B95:P5, B90:P10, B85:P15, B80:P20, B75:P25, B70:P30 in this study. As a result of the test, B95:P5 matrix has the best density and compressive strength.

The objective of this study is to develop a polymer mortar floor members for wine housing with high strength and durability using unsaturated polyester resin to complement defects of conventional cement concrete. Physical and mechanical properties of the polymer mortar floor members for swine housing are also investigated. Specimens with different panel thickness and FRP reinforcement are prepared, tested, and analyzed with respect to structural behaviors. Cracking moment is mostly affected by the thickness and reinforced FRP. Data of the study can be applied to the designing and planning of floor members for swine housing.

According to results of this research Fly-ash Cement permanent-form production was found to be possible by fly-ash mortal. The compress strength 350kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$, banding strength 120kg/$\textrm{cm}^2$ were possible material separting and bleeding by excessive W/C rate was decreased permanent-form made by polymer solved high price of polymer by fly-ash. Model material was made by result of first research. There were no minute-crack on beam form and out surface of form was very smooth, So filling degree seemed desirable length of form after steaming curing was maintained as expected. with these results production of form seemed possible. In the banding load test, fly-ash showed increase of maxim load 12% than RC. in the case of minute-crack, comparing with RC, fly-ash showed no crack at connect. at the first stage under continuing loading size of crack increased. These phenomena seemed to be based on contribution of stress of inner bars in permanent-form. in the test of defection, fly-ash shower about 10% beam load increase than RC. in the case of beam defection, RC showed sudden decrease of tolerance at maxim load and total breaking, but permanent-form showed breaking of bending maintaining defection with contribution of steel stress ($\Phi$6 wire-mash). There phenomenic seemed to be attributed to increase of surface and steel tolerance of form. According to construction explacemaion, it was guessed that each panel was constructed by conner-steels in form edge. so cohesiveness was small. on these bases. keeping width of horizontal band 30cm, form-panel of 20mm width was found to be of use. Permanent-form was found to be efficient in compressibleness, defection, safety and use of Fly-ash mortal.
This paper presents the mix composition, production method, and curing condition applied to the extruded ECC(Engineered Cementitious Composite) panel which are able to exhibit multiple cracking and potential pseudo strain-hardening behavior. In addition to the production technique of extruded ECC panel, the effect of fiber distribution characteristics, which are uniquely created by applying extrusion process, on the flexural behavior of the panel is also focussed. In order to demonstrate fiber distribution, a series of experiments and analyses, including image processing/analysis and micro-mechanical analysis, was performed. The optimum mix composition of extruded ECC panel was determined in terms of water matrix ratio, the amount of cement, ECC powder, and silica powder. It was found that flexural behavior of extruded ECC panel was highly affected by the slight difference in mix composition of ECC panel. This is mainly because the difference in mix composition results in the change of micro-mechanical properties as well as fiber distribution characteristics, represented by fiber dispersion and orientation. In terms of the average fiber orientation, the fiber distribution was found to be similar to the assumption of two dimensional random distribution, irrespective of mix composition. In contrast, the probability density function for fiber orientation was measured to be quite different depending on the mix composition.
