에너지절감을 위한 태양광발전설비 연계형 경관조명 전력제어시스템의 개발 (An Development of Landscape Lighting Power Control System with Solar Cell Generator Equipment for Energy Saving)

  • In this paper, we propose the landscape lighting power control system with solar sell generator equipment for energy saving, and also which is included the landscape lighting power transformation device. The power transformation device can check inverse current in the power of the solar cell module and control the power of the battery. And we present the design of landscape lighting power control system. The power control system uses microprocessor with charging system and power transformation device. And also it can control the power of loads under consideration intensity of illumination. The landscape lighting loads are composed of LED(Lighting Emitting Diode) and HID(High Intensity Discharge)lamps. To evaluate property, we installed the solar cell array which generate three kilo watt power. Experimental results show that the proposed system can have stability and energy saving on the mixed configuration of electric loads with DC and AC lamps.

  • The various services that a broadband integrated services digital network (B-ISDN) carries, have a wide range of delay, delay jitter and cell loss probability requirements. Design of appropriate control schemes for B-ISDN is an extremely important and challenging problem. In this paper, we proposes a priority control scheme with a delay counter and a cell counter per each class type. The priority control for required service quality is performed with delay/loss factor obstained by comparing window counter with cell counter. The performance of proposed control scheme is estimated by computer simulation.

  • This research presents a fuel cell simulator for control logic verification and operator training. Nowadays, power industries are focusing on clean energy as a response to new policy. The fuel cell can be the solution for clean energy, but operating technology is not well developed compared to other conventional power plans because of its short history. Therefore we need a simulator to verify the new control strategy and train operators, because the price of a real fuel cell system is too high and mechanically weak to be used for these kind of purposes. To develop the simulator, a 300 KW MCFC(Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell) system was modeled with stack, BOPs(pre-reformer, steam generator, etc) and mechanical components(valves, pipes, pumps, blowers, etc). The process model was integrated to emulated control system and HMI(Human Machine Interface). A static load and open loop tests were conducted for verifying the accuracy of the process model, since it is the most important part in the simulation. After verifying the process model, an automatic load change and start-up tests were conducted to verify the performance of a new control strategy(logic and functional loops).

  • Temperature and humidity regulations of an open-cathode PEM fuel cell with balance of plant (BOP) are developed in this study. The axial fan, a bubble humidifier, set of solenoid valves and a controller are used to perform temperature and humidity control simultaneously. A fuzzy controller is designed, and it shows its superiority in real-time controlling for strong non-linear dynamical fuel cell system. The axial fan speed is used for temperature control and solenoid valve on/off signal of the bubble humidifier is used for humidity control. The axial fan speed is controlled to keep the fuel cell temperature within the desired point. Meanwhile, the bubble humidifier is utilized to moisture hydrogen to manage the water content of membrane. The results show that the proposed fuzzy controller effectively increases the output power of 10% for a PEM fuel cell.

형방지황탕(荊防地黃湯) 전탕액이 노화쥐의 신장, 비장, 방광 세포의 항산화능에 미치는 영향 (Anti-Oxidant Effect of Hyeongbangjiwhang-tang Decoction in Kidney, Bladder and Spleen Cell of SD Rats)

  • 1. Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the anti-aging and anti-oxidant effects of Hyeongbangjiwhang-tang decoction(HGD) in SD rats. 2. Methods This experiment was used the tissue of kidney, bladder and spleen cells of 6, 52 and 68 weeks old SD rats. Each age group was again divided into three groups. One group, as normal group, was not-treated cells, another group, as control group, was saline-treated cells, and the last group, as experimental group, was HG-treated cells. After culture for 48 hours, each groups measured the level of SOD, GSH, MDA and NO in the tissue of kidney, bladder and spleen cells. 3. Results and Conclusions The activity of SOD were significantly increased in kidney cell of 68 w-HGD group, bladder cell of 52 w-HGD group and in spleen cell of 52,68 w-HGD group compared with those of the control groups. The level of GSH were significantly increased in bladder cell of 52w-HGD group and in spleen cell of 68w-HGD group compared with those of the control groups. The level of MDA were significantly decreased in bladder cell of 68 w-HGD group and in spleen cell of 68w-HGD group compared with those of the control groups. The level of NO were significantly decreased in kidney cell of 68 w-HGD group, bladder cell of 52, 68w-HGD groups, and in spleen cell of 68w-HGD group compared with those of the control groups. These results suggest that HGD(Hyeongbangjiwhang-tang) has anti-oxidant effects in aged rats.

  • 종래의 DNC(Direct Numerical Control)에서 가공 Cell의 효율을 높이기 위한 분산 제어 DNC(Distributed Numerical Control)시스템 운용을 위해서는, 운용에 필요한 소프트웨어 외에 공작기계 및 주변기계에 대한 실시간 감시/제어 기능을 가져야 한다. 이를 위해 당 연구실에서는 경제성 및 확장성을 고려 범용 PLC (Programable Logic Controller)와 각 공작기계 및 주변기기를 연결하고, PC(Personal Computer)와 다자간 및 고속 통신이 가능한 전용 통신회선을 이용한 경제성 있는 실시간 가공 Cell 감시/제어시스템 RT-COMOS(Real Time Machine Cell Control and Monitoring System)를 개발했다. 본 논문에서는 이에 대한 연구결과를 소개한다.

  • The Objective of this paper is to provide fuzzy control designers with a design tool for stable fuzzy logic controllers. Given multiple sets of data disturbed by vagueness uncertainty, we generate the implicative rules that guarantee stability and robustness of closed-loop fuzzy dynamic systems. We propose the cell-state transition method which utilizes Hsu's cell-to-cell mapping concept [1]. As a result, a generic and implementable design methodology for obtaining a fuzzy feedback gain K, a fuzzy hypercube [2], is provided and illustrated with simple examples.

황기건중탕(黃芪建中湯)이 Methotrexate로 유도된 흰쥐의 면역기능저하(免疫機能低下)에 미치는 영향(影響) (The Effect of Hwanggigunjung-tang on Imunosuppression induced by Methotrexate in Rat)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of Hwanggigunjungtang(HGT) on white rats with deteriorated immunity caused by methotrexate. Methods: First, methotrexate was fed to the white rats once a day for 4 days. After the immune responses of the rats are deteriorated, dried extracts of HGT mixed in water was fed to the rats once a day for 14 days. And then we measured the percentage of B-cell and T-cell in peripheral blood, the percentage of CD3+CD4+ T-cell and CD3+CD8+ T-cell of blood sampled from spleen and peripheral region. Results: The percentage of B-cell of peripheral blood was not different statistically. The percentage of T-cell of peripheral blood was increased significantly in HGT group as compared with control group. The percentage of CD3+CD4+ T-cell of peripheral blood was increased significantly in HGT group as compared with control group. The percentage of CD3+CD8+ T-cell of peripheral blood was decreased in HGT group as compared with control group. The percentage of CD3+CD4+ T-cell of spleen was increased significantly in HGT group as compared with control group. The percentage of CD3+CD8+ T-cell of spleen was not different statistically. Conclusion: According to the above results, HGT has an effect of increasing immune responses on white rats with deteriorated immunity caused by methotrexate.

  • Background: Black ginseng (BG) has greatly enhanced pharmacological activities relative to white or red ginseng. However, the effect and molecular mechanism of BG on muscle growth has not yet been examined. In this study, we investigated whether BG could regulate myoblast differentiation and myotube hypertrophy. Methods: BG-treated C2C12 myoblasts were differentiated, followed by immunoblotting for myogenic regulators, immunostaining for a muscle marker, myosin heavy chain or immunoprecipitation analysis for myogenic transcription factors. Results: BG treatment of C2C12 cells resulted in the activation of Akt, thereby enhancing hetero-dimerization of MyoD and E proteins, which in turn promoted muscle-specific gene expression and myoblast differentiation. BG-treated myoblasts formed larger multinucleated myotubes with increased diameter and thickness, accompanied by enhanced Akt/mTOR/p70S6K activation. Furthermore, the BG treatment of human rhabdomyosarcoma cells restored myogenic differentiation. Conclusion: BG enhances myoblast differentiation and myotube hypertrophy by activating Akt/mTOR/p70S6k axis. Thus, our study demonstrates that BG has promising potential to treat or prevent muscle loss related to aging or other pathological conditions, such as diabetes.

  • This paper proposes the parallel operation control algorithm of a power conditioning system (PCS) for a distributed Fuel Cell power generation system. A proposed control algorithm is made good a drawback of the conventional control algorithm. The controller must also supervise the total PCS operation while communicating with the fuel cell system controller. Simulation results are presented to performance of a proposed control algorithm for the PCS.
