This quantitative study analyzed the influence of college students' preferred type of occupation on a confirmation bias and job anxiety during the process of making a career decision. The questionnaires were distributed to university students in Seoul and the metropolitan area for 500 weeks from July 10 2017 to August 8, 2017. Among them, 482 valid samples of data were analyzed by data coding and data cleaning usin SPSS 18.0 statistics and the AMOS 18.0 program. The main results of this study are that the type of business preference for an affirmative bias has a positive (+) direct influence (${\beta}=.374$) and the type of freedom has a positive direct influence (${\beta}=.326$) and a negative direct influence (${\beta}=-.274$). In the case of job anxiety, the influence of job type is more increased. The confirmation bias shows that the business type and freestyle type find cause in effort or achievement motive, while rect type is recognized as social environment and structural problem. In conclusion, there is a difference in the degree of confirmation bias and job insecurity. This study shows that college students' preferred occupation types can help them to understand the bias and anxiety that they have in preparing for the job and help to reduce job anxiety, and these findings are expected to be useful for career guidance.

This study, based on the need for department of LIS education program that targets training of subject-special librarian, focuses on proving that such education can improve perception of subject-special librarian and strengthen career decision-making. This study is composed of two parts. First, this study investigates case studies about subject-special librarian cultivation. Second, this study includes a survey about subject-special librarian, improving understanding about subject-special librarian, and improving career decision-making which was carried out targeting students who take 'Medical Terms and MeSH', and 'Health & Medical Information Sources' courses. Results are as follows. First, most of the respondents felt the need for medical librarian and medical information services (88.7%), understood the role of medical librarian (92.5%), got to know more about the types and functions of medical information services (100%), and came to be more aware of the self-esteem a medical librarian feels as a professional. Second, relatively, the percentage of respondents who demonstrated the willingness to work at a medical library (45.3%) or work in the field of medical information services (26.4%) was noticeably low. Third, there were no statistical difference in whether the students took related courses or not, number of courses they took and difference in their school year, and in regard of the level of understanding of medical librarian and medical information services, those who took courses demonstrated higher understanding than did those who did not take those courses. Also, those who took the courses showed stronger willingness to work as a medical librarian. Fourthly, the curriculum carried out by the department of library and information service was effective in understanding medical librarian and medical information services, but makes students more cautious about deciding whether or not to start their career at a medical library. Lastly, it was recommended that there is a need to have the curriculum updated in order to help students overcome the difficulty and unfamiliarity they feel about medical subject.
This study was conducted to collect the basic data to provide for the purpose of the development of dental field. This research is to find the relationship between the level of recognized empowerment of hygienists working in dental clinics and the factors influencing on work achievement in the system of dental clinics. The population of the research is some randomely chosen dental clinics located in Seoul City during the period from March 22 to April 30, 2010, and the sample of 256 female dental hygienists working in the field were recruited as the analysis object group. The data on general characteristics and empowerment were collected by a questionnaire survey. The collected data were analyzed with the SPSS WIN 12.0 program. The following shows the results of this study. 1. The empowerment level of the analysis subject group was 3.63. It is significant statistically that the longer working career or higher annual salary, the higher empowerment level (p<0.05). 2. It shows the high level of empowerment in the group of hygienists who are in education counsel (p<0.01), and who have a permanent job (p<0.05) than others. 3. There is a significant correlation among capability, age, career, annual salary (p<0.01). 4. There is a significant correlation among self determination, age(p<0.05), career (p<0.01), annual salary (p<0.05). 5. In regression analysis, career is proved as one of the significant factors that is related to the empowerment in dental hygienists (p<0.05). This finding shows high level of empowerment in dental hygienists who hold high level of career, annual salary, education counsel jobs, or permanent jobs. Therefore, I suggest with the result of the study that the organization of dental clinic needs to improve its capability and efficiency with the efficient manpower management. Particularly, there need to be various kinds of leadership-trainning and education-program development to enhance empowerment in hygienists as professionals through independent self-decision making experiences and role do experiences.

This study aims to investigate the characteristics of Lee Kyo-Won's landscape architecture and add to the literature in this field. Also, the current status of and issues in landscape design will be dealt with through the lens of the individual landscape architect's worts. By adopting a critical analysis, this study will look closely into the background of his career and ideas regarding landscape design. The inherent nature of his coherent style in landscape design will be listed as follows: total design, design-build systems, experimentation with new kinds of plants and materials, and the pursuit of minimalism. His design domain covers various elements such as paving, street lamps, and clock towers, among others. He was often involved in managing outdoor sculpture and he also provided the total packaging of the design-build systems for most of his landscape projects. These are the main reasons why his landscape works can maintain their high end quality; through his craftsmanship, a fine quality of detail was achieved in his landscape design. This tell us the possible options that can be adopted such as landscape architectural design management or landscape architectural turn-key systems, which differ from the prevailing dual system between design and construction. However, his own particular system can not be replicated in ordinary situations because contemporary practices require us to coordinate the various stakeholders concerned in the decision-making process of the design. In general, it is fair to say that we can give him the credit for enhancing the status of landscape design as an independent, specialized field.
The purpose of this study was analyzed the general factors that influence school dietitians' satisfaction from their regular duties, the current status of food distribution to students and the relationship between dietitians and their governing authorities. Dietitians of primary school had higher score on direct management and working career. High school dietitian had higher scores on consignment management, freedom in amount of food distribution and number of meals a day. The highest score was on the relationship with other coworkers and the lowest score was on the poor working environment and salary. In general, dietitians in all schools are not satisfied the working environment and salary. Depending upon the duty time, there were differences in the nature of their duties. There was also a significant difference in the nature of duties and the professionalism based on the average income. Even though they got paid less, they felt satisfaction because of the less working times. The amount of labor for those in primary schools was more than the one for dietitians in high schools. It is likely that they got more satisfied when other related People feel satisfied with their own things and duties based on the nature of the duties, discretion of duties, professionalism, relationship with other coworkers and participation in decision making process. It is to develop the nature of the duties for all the dietitians in order to launch the new and right ideas in meal plans for students. It is also to promote and uphold the Professionalism and efficient management programs in association with the stable human resources. Assuming we will come up with a wide and broad nationwide survey, and further research shall be more reliable and objective than any others.
This study aimed to examine the factors affecting education satisfaction of dental hygiene students by conducting surveys on a total of 1,840 first, second, and third year dental hygiene students enrolled in 6 colleges in Gyeonggi-do, Chungcheong-do, and Jeolla-do, and then using SPSS WIN 12.0 to analyze the results. The following results were obtained. 1. In terms of differences in satisfaction for each year, "department satisfaction", "major satisfaction", "facility satisfaction", and "lecture satisfaction" showed statistically significant differences (p < 0.05). 2. In terms of differences in satisfaction for each region, all of the categories - "department satisfaction", "major satisfaction", "facility satisfaction", "lecture satisfaction", and "lecturer satisfaction" - showed statistically significant differences (p < 0.05). 3. In terms of differences in satisfaction for the department of dental hygiene, the following factors showed statistically significant differences: general knowledge of dental hygiene (p = .000), channel of knowledge of dental hygiene (p = .001), timeframe of making decision to study dental hygiene (p = .025), motive for choosing dental hygiene (p = .000), career path after graduation (p = .016), and number of years at work after graduation (p = .0000).

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effects of social network service on the collaborative learning. Four groups were categorized depending on the use of different types of the social network services - Kakao Talk, Facebook, both Kakao Talk and Facebook, and unused group. A preliminary test revealed that there was no difference in mobile efficacy, career decision making self-efficacy, course interest among the four groups. In the post test, the groups that used either Kakao Talk group or the group that used both Kakao Talk and Facebook retained significantly higher average score in team collaboration scale than Facebook group and unused group. The analysis of the messages in Facebook exhibited that the group used both Kakao Talk and Facebook generated larger number of messages, read, replies, clicks of "good" than the groups used only Facebook. These results strongly support the statistical significance.

Professional self-determination of the individual is a complex and lengthy process of finding and realizing yourself in the profession. The main goal of professional self-determination is clarified. The basic concepts of readiness for professional self-determination of future specialists in the modern information society are revealed. The following approaches to the consideration of the concept of readiness are defined: functional-psychological, personal, activity-based. Based on the components of readiness identified by the researchers, it can be assumed that the structure of professional self-determination of the future specialist contains motivational, cognitive and activity components. Self-determination is defined as a multidimensional process that can be considered from different points of view: as a series of tasks, that society sets for the emerging individual, and which the individual must solve in a certain period. As a process of step-by-step decision-making, with the help of which the individual forms a balance between his desires and inclinations, on the one hand, and the needs of society, on the other; as a process of forming an individual lifestyle, part of which is professional activity. A number of tasks of professional self-determination of a future specialist in the information society are formulated. Diagnostic practices for determining the degree of readiness of future specialists for future professional success are characterized. Practices are developed as a basis for creating an individually oriented correctional and development program to promote the formation of future specialists' focus on future professional success. Their task is to ensure control over the dynamics of this process, assess the effectiveness of this career guidance work. Practices are aimed at identifying the degree of thorough knowledge of the conditions for achieving professional success in the chosen field of activity among future specialists.

Journalism and Mass Communication as an academic field is believed more politicized one than pure literature and natural science. With the growth of the media, there follows additional opportunities for media scholars to take a part in politics as well. Few attention was given to understand the status and mechanism of political intervention either as advisers or decision makers though. This study attempts thus to fill this vacuum. For this, first of all, it examines a various types of laws related to media politics. Total number of 164 scholars who participated in 12 councils and commissions were analyzed on the following step. Research shows that there are patterns which favor Seoul National University, U.S. trained Ph. D and geographic preference to the capital. Neither academic excellence nor commitment to public interest appear to have impact on taking those positions. Taking into account media's expansion into politics, it is inevitable for media scholars to take responsibility not only in policy making but in taking leadership. Accordingly, the question of necessity is not who but how as much as manner. The authors hope this study will be a valuable opportunity to establish a kind of ethical standards in media politics.

The power of human capital in a library is the main resource that determines the level of library services, which in turn should play a pivotal role in forming the intellectual power of the country. This research conducted a survey on the employment perspectives of LIS undergraduates, which resulted as follows. First, among the LIS undergraduates, 40% of students responded that their desire was to be employed in the library as librarians. Although there were some negative opinions regarding the working environment of the industry, the undergraduates appreciated the developmental possibilities. Second, the most desired task was working with cultural programs. Third, the respondents were satisfied with the current curriculum overall, acknowledging the extra need for job search support programs, which include career support, employment-related mentoring, and internships. Fourth, the main requirements for their future employability were perceived as grade point average, language skills, obtaining licenses, internship and apprenticeship experience, and career management. Fifth, influential factors on employment decision making were divided into two aspects: environmental and personal factors. The environmental factors included salary, welfare, opportunities in personal development, workplace environment, organizational culture, and development possibilities of the organization. The personal factors included fitness with personal aptitude, the level of knowledge and technology in the job industry, social norms and acknowledgement, rewarding opportunities with their major, and location of job.
