Models and Strategies for Network Operator's B2B Ecommerce The B2B ecommerce market is one of the fastest growing areas in the telecom industry. However network operators have been slow to enter the arena, Network operator have been held back by their general unsurety about the Internet business. Network operators'core business(the supply of connectivity and transport service) is becoming unprofitable. As a result they are looking to diversify into areas where margins are higher. B2B ecommerce offers them a major way to achieve this. It is possible to identify various business models for offering ecommerce services to end user, ranging from the provision of complete packaged applications to the implementation and management of customized ecommerce solution. In this study the three main approaches available to network operators are the traditional IT outsourcing model, the ASP model and the community builder model.

In the power industry after restructuring of Power industry will be appeared on-site type business, power retail sales business, and power wholesales business, power dealing business, customer inclination business ＆ delivery of power facilities. Among them, power trade business, customer inclination business and on-site type business will be rapidly increased and occupied attention. In addition, it is forecasted to advent the broker, provider, market place, power marketer, system operator and generator as a main player. Meanwhile, it needs protection of existing power industry and activation of new energy market for accomplishment of restructuring of power industry.

With the rapid growth of mobile services, the various charging methods for mobile data have emerged in the mobile service market. Among them, network operators have begun to provide the zero-rating without any extra charge for the data that use the specific mobile application & services. Zero-rating, the free mobile data services by the network operators provoked many platform operators to confront business opportunity and risk. Though the platform operators are in urgent need of the strategy planning that considers business environments, any research endeavors explaining zero-rating and platform does not exist. Moreover, the analyses of potential effects of zero-rating on the business acts of platform operators has not been performed. Therefore, the study aims to identify the potential business opportunity and risk to prepare the various strategic countermeasure in platform operators' shoes. The study might enable the researchers to properly understand zero-rating and platform, and be utilized as a reference in planning the business strategy of the platform operators.

We show assets can be classified into diversifiable risks and non-diversifiable risks based on aggregate endowment and spanning so that in equilibrium agents eliminate diversifiable risks which must have zero values. Consequently, the benchmark portfolio that represents a pricing operator should have only a non-diversifiable risk, aggregate endowment should earn a positive risk premium over a riskless asset, and, even in incomplete markets, there should be a pricing operator represented by a function of aggregate endowment if any asset mean-independent of aggregate endowment is diversifiable. These results apply to both the CAPM and a representative agent model.

3GPP (Third Generation Partnership Project) is defining UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunication System) releases which span the transition from GSM/UMTS coexistence to All-IP UMTS networks. The deployment of an UMTS network depends, in the first place, on the intended service offerings and the release an operator chooses to start service with. Other key decisions in-fluencing UMTS deployment relate to the timing of the functional enhancements and capacity increases along the economic life of the network. This paper gives an overview on the architectural and technical options for UMTS deployment. It also outlines the methodology underlying the business plan aimed at estimating the returns from investments in the UMTS infrastructure, thus helping to tune operators’ strategies for UMTS deployment.

Our government has concentrated its policy capabilities on Software industry in order to realize software-centric society. Through such efforts, software industry has developed continuously. As well, it has been a high-valued industry by the association with other various industries, so its importance has been great and its market has grown explosively. However, owing to the hasty support policies focused on software industry, various problems and adverse effects, such as the decline of construction quality due to the confusion of business operator selection and the business area conflict, has occurred. Therefore, in this thesis, I will find the problem and its cause about software support policies and relevant laws according to rapid market change, and will suggest the improvement plan about them. So, I intend to minimize the problems associated with the confusion of business operator selection, through the business area clarification(software industry and information communication construction industry) about complex ICT industry.

The study aims to identify the factors affecting business performance of rural tourism operators. For this study, 1,004 questionnaires were collected by field survey of rural tourism operators. The linear multiple regression analysis were used to identify factors affecting performance of rural tourism business. The result indicate that the factors influencing the sales of rural tourism business were in order of owning sales facilities, perception of multi-functional value of agriculture and rural, group promotion, number of rooms, and gender. In the case of gender, it was found that females had a high probability of positively affecting sales. The factors influencing the satisfaction of the rural tourism business were in the order of management strategy, number of days of operation, perception of multi-functional value of agriculture and rural, and business career. In the case of management strategy, it was found that the differentiation strategy have a positively affecting the satisfaction of the rural tourism business. As for the business career, the shorter the career, the higher the probability of positively affecting the satisfaction of the rural tourism business. The results of this study would be useful for establishing strategies to improve the management performance of the rural tourism business.

One of representative techniques for compensation of LC's slow response characteristic is the Response Time Acceleration (RTA) technique. The conventional data definition for the RTA is based on the manual measurement and thus it takes long time. Therefore it is almost impossible to use panel specific compensation data in MP line. We have developed a new automated measurement system and flicker minimization for this purpose, which could achieve dramatic measurement time reduction, consistency over different operator, and optimized values as well. This system laid the groundwork for the application of image quality enhancement technologies to panels individually, and using this system, we can expect very uniform image quality for all LCD panels.

The Korean environmental impact assessment(EIA) system, and explored ways to improve it as a more efficient and viable institution relevant to the demand of our time and conditions in study. The first problem this study identified is found in the fact that the party to write up the assessment report is itself the business operator or the one who is planning to work out the business plan. This structure translates into placing an order with an agent for EIA report. The reporting job may br subcontracted to the agent at a cost far below the rate specified in the 'Standard for Estimate of Agency Fee for Environmental Impact Assessment.' This practice also causes the vicious circle of producing a report that is written to justify the project or business in question or it leads to rough-and ready and poor documentation to minimize the time required. Second, in order to achieve the goal of the plan or business, which is the target of EIA, the local residents tend to ve regarded as an obstacle. This means elimination of the local people from participating in the EIA or their opinion being frequently ignored. This is the seed of distrust and hostility that sometimes provoke disagreements or fierce conflicts. The first proposal to improve these problem is to improve the factors that cause poor documentation of the assessment report as well as improve the understanding of the EIA system. This study proposes the following measures for improvement. The agency cost for EIA should be paid by the business operator or a third party that can ensure faithful implementation of the payment. A system should be established to verify transparent estimation of the agency cost. In order to enhance the professional quality of EIA agents, there should be implementation of qualification test for industrial engineer of related engineers in addition to the current EIA Qualification Test. The second proposal for improvement is to improve the citizen participation process by instituting a legal framework to make clear the purpose of the briefing session for local residents, which is held as a procedure of EIA, and to ensure more positive publicity during the stage of listening to the opinion of the local community. For a smooth and rational communication process, a moderator and a communicator of opinion, as is the case in a public hearing, could be instituted to clearly get the purpose of the briefing session across to the residents and to help to carry out the explanation and Q & A sessions according to the categories of the opinion of the residents. At present, the notification of the public inspection of the draft of the assessment report and briefing session for the residents is made on the newspaper and internet network. But some people have difficulty with access to this method of announcement. A higher participation rate could be secured if a legal provision is added to specify putting up placards in specific places such as the entrance to the place for the briefing session for residents or the building of administrative agencies of the area concerned.
