Osteoarthritis is a disease that has considerable effect on both individuals and economy. The number of osteoarthritis patients are gradually increasing as people get to enjoy longevity. This study was conducted to examine 30 osteoarthritis patients. Following is the report which shows the effectiveness of KJ27 based on statistical data analysis. Among 5 who have reported that they were not able to walk or use their knees at all, 80% of them were completely recovered. Among 18 who have stated that it was very hard for them to walk for more than a kilometer, 66.7% were completely recovered. Among 7 who have reported that it was little bit difficult for them to walk, 71.4% were completely recovered. Among 25 out of 30 who were very unsatisfied with former treatments, 70% of them stated that they were very satisfied with KJ27 treatments, and 30% of them stated that they were satisfied with it. Among 5 who had not had any type of osteoarthritis treatments, 100% have stated that they were very satisfied with the treatment. 18 patients who were under this treatment for a month were completely recovered; 10 patients who were under this treatment for 2 months were completely recovered; and finally 2 patients who were under this treatment for 3 months and longer were completely recovered. It is not clearly understood whether KJ27 will eradicate the entire symptoms of osteoarthritis, yet. Numerous case studies and experiments should be conducted to improve and apply KJ27.
Ensemble classification involves combining multiple classifiers to obtain more accurate predictions than those obtained using individual models. Ensemble learning techniques are known to be very useful for improving prediction accuracy. Bagging is one of the most popular ensemble learning techniques. Bagging has been known to be successful in increasing the accuracy of prediction of the individual classifiers. Bagging draws bootstrap samples from the training sample, applies the classifier to each bootstrap sample, and then combines the predictions of these classifiers to get the final classification result. Bootstrap samples are simple random samples selected from the original training data, so not all bootstrap samples are equally informative, due to the randomness. In this study, we proposed a new method for improving the performance of the standard bagging ensemble by optimizing bootstrap samples. A genetic algorithm is used to optimize bootstrap samples of the ensemble for improving prediction accuracy of the ensemble model. The proposed model is applied to a bankruptcy prediction problem using a real dataset from Korean companies. The experimental results showed the effectiveness of the proposed model.
Many firms have had a passion for IT investment for years. Despite such a continuing investment in IT, the application of newer technologies to business work doesn't guarantee a great success. Some IT projects were doomed to failure or ineffectiveness. What could we do to lead IT project to the territory of effectiveness? One plausible and inevitable avenue is enterprise architecture (EA), which requires one to first come up with a simplified view of the complex entity to be designed and then proceed to design and develop it as directed by the architecture. Though there have been more materials on such EA work and real cases, there still exist a doubt about why EA is needed and how a firm can introduce it. This article first presents a structured understanding about EA and then describes the necessity, and the introducing ways of EA.

Competitive international business environment has forced many firms to focus on supply chain management to cope with highly increasing competition. Hence the supplier selection is the most important decision of a company. Because it has a direct effect on cost reduction and quality, profitability and flexibility improvement of a company, so the right supplier selection significantly affect on the organization's efficiency and effectiveness and competitiveness. The primary research objects of this study is to evaluate an importance of supplier selection factors as an index and to present the evaluation model for supplier selection. For this purpose, this study adopts the AHP method to calculate the importance of supplier selection factors. In this study, 16 factors which affect on the supplier selection decision making are classified into three factors-product supply related factor, product related factor, management ability related factor.
The developed composite index has limits to estimate and predict economic status due to economic pattern change and the response change of explanatory variables. A higher precedence individual indicators should be selected to predict the future accurately. In this study, effectiveness of Jeju Island precedence indicators consists of constituents in the area, the consumer price index, services production index, mining and manufacturing production index. The average temperature of Seogwipo and credit card purchase amount is reviewed as an economic turning point consideration and time lag correlation analysis with real data. In addition, we suggest the proper reference cycle in Jeju composite precedence index and evaluate the configuration in leading indicators for Jeju by comparing national economic indicators. Based on the derived results, the current problems of Jeju Island precedence indicators will be illustrated and the improvement methods to estimate a regional composite index will be suggested.
This study evaluates the effectiveness of the "Seoul Sanitation Grading System Evaluation Index" developed earlier and to analyze sanitation management practices in restaurants in Seoul, Korea. The categories evaluated were the food management standard, facilities/equipment standard, and essential checking items specified in the law. These items were graded and classified into A ($100{\sim}90$), B ($89{\sim}80$), C ($79{\sim}70$) and Score (less than 69) based on the criteria set by the present researchers. We randomly selected 56 restaurants in five local cities (Jung-gu, Seocho-gu, Jongno-gu, Songpa-gu and Yeongdeungpo-gu) and investigated each by actually visiting the site of business. The achievement rate for food management standard was 80.8%; as for the specific items in the category, it was the highest in food ingredients at 77.1% and the lowest in food storage at 62.1%. For the facilities/equipment standard, the achievement rate was 77.8%; as for the specific items in the category, it was the highest for vermin at 88.1% and the lowest for operation at 70.8%. The achievement rate for overall individual sanitary management was 70.7% and in the category, the lowest score was seen in hand washing at 57.1%. The overall average score of sanitation management practices using the Seoul Sanitation Grading System Evaluation Index in restaurants in Seoul was 73.7, which fell into the C category. As for the number of restaurants in each grade category, there were 10 (17.9%) in each category of A ($100{\sim}90$), B ($89{\sim}80$) and C ($79{\sim}70$) with 30 (53.6%) scoring higher than 70, whereas those scoring less than 69 included 26 (46.4%). The average scores for those restaurants designated by local governments (exemplary restaurants, general restaurants, best Korean restaurants in Seoul) were not significantly different; however, they were higher in franchises than those small restaurants ran by individuals.

Recently, the use of nanotechnology in products is constantly expanding, and the problems on human health hazard has emerged as a major issue. A nanomaterials regulatory policy on the products is urgently required. This study analyzed the introduction of regulatory policies of nanomaterials contained in industrial products. In this study, the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method was applied and three regulatory policies were evaluated to analyze the validity of the introduction of a nanomaterials regulatory policy. To select the optimal regulatory policy, the policy evaluation criteria were set as enforcement (effectiveness), economics, acceptability, and protection. For the regulatory policies, self-regulation, product labelling, and enforced registration were introduced and evaluated as the regulatory policies, and product labelling was selected as the optimal regulatory policy.
PACS Import external image of the thread of the tasks and duties of hospital revenue and business efficiency falls over time. 500 beds or more medical imaging import work outside of the hospital, most hospitals use a PC, KIOSK, and was used in 15 hospitals where, CD Autoloader where use was the only one. Working hours compared to CD and DVD media to test the results of the Import target PC, KIOSK, CD Autoloader Import spent less time in the order, and also the greater capacity of CD Autoloader four times the PC, KIOSK 2 times Import could be implemented quickly. In addition, the waiting time of the patients was measured using the PC's time to Import, 2011 14.5 minutes and the average patient waiting time, KIOSK and later use CD Autoloader 2012 average patient wait time of 8.25 minutes, 43% of the existing average waiting time was 5.25 minutes to reduce. However, KIOSK case of a patient in a way that directly Import latency time was soon. Import of three ways: in terms of efficiency and excellent CD Autoloader way, the patient waiting time in terms of ease of use and KIOSK was excellent. In addition, with the introduction of CD Autoloader with KIOSK Joint of the items waiting time of patients and patient satisfaction rating is considered to be a major contribution.

Recently, Heterogeneous Network (HetNet) with Coordinated Multi-Point (CoMP) scheme is introduced into Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) systems to improve digital services for User Equipments (UEs), especially for cell-edge UEs. However, Radio Resource Management (RRM), including Resource Block (RB) scheduling and Power Allocation (PA), in this scenario becomes challenging, due to the intercell cooperation. In this paper, we investigate the RRM problem for downlink transmission of HetNet system with Joint Processing (JP) CoMP (both joint transmission and dynamic cell selection schemes), aiming at maximizing weighted sum data rate under the constraints of both transmission power and backhaul capacity. First, joint RB scheduling and PA problem is formulated as a constrained Mixed Integer Programming (MIP) which is NP-hard. To simplify the formulation problem, we decompose it into two problems of RB scheduling and PA. For RB scheduling, we propose an algorithm with less computational complexity to achieve a suboptimal solution. Then, according to the obtained scheduling results, we present an iterative Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) method to solve the PA problem. Extensive simulations are conducted to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithms. Two kinds of JP CoMP schemes are compared with a non-CoMP greedy scheme (max capacity scheme). Simulation results prove that the CoMP schemes with the proposed RRM algorithms dramatically enhance data rate of cell-edge UEs, thereby improving UEs' fairness of data rate. Also, it is shown that the proposed PA algorithms can decrease power consumption of transmission antennas without loss of transmission performance.

The author analyses the challenging activities of Japanese libraries in this decade by launching two keywords; "product-sharing" and "outcome generation." "Product-sharing" means that libraries share knowledge, skills, and records which are produced as the result of the services or in the process of activities. And "outcome generation" means that libraries generate any efficiency or effectiveness through their services to users. Using these concepts, reported are the current situation and aspects of Japanese libraries which try to make various contributions to the society; research and learning of the people, and education and training for professional librarians, and so on. In the analysis, the author shows some examples of "product-sharing" at first, including the records of reference transaction and the multi-functioned online public access catalogue. Especially, focused is on the various possibility and adoptability of the Collaborative Reference Database System of the National Diet Library of Japan. This system is one of digital reference service in Japan, and the database of reference transaction records is expected to be useful for research and academic studyies as knowledge-base of professional librarians. And the system is also expected to be a platform for LIS education and professional development in the e-learning environment. Secondly, as the examples of "outcome generation", explained are the problem-solving-type activities, and provision of the collection about books on struggling against disease and illness. A few examples of outcome in the problem-solving-type activities are these; increase of sales in the services for shop managers, business persons, and entrepreneurs, contribution to affluent daily life by providing the local information services to residents and neighbourhoods, and etc. And for both the patients with serious cases and their family or those who nurse them, books about other persons' notes or memorandum are the greatest support, and sometime healing. The author discuss the 'raison d'etre' of these activities focusing on public libraries in Japan.
