해외 취업 간호사의 나이듦: 파독간호사를 중심으로 (Ageing Experiences of Nurses with Overseas Employment: Focusing on the Korean Nurses Dispatched to Germany in the 1960s and 1970s)

  • Purpose: Global shortages in nursing and strong demand for nursing services provided Korean nurses with more overseas employment opportunities, especially in the developed countries such as the United States and Canada. The purpose of this study was to explore the ageing experiences of the Korean nurses dispatched to Germany in the 1960s and 1970s. Methods: The researcher interviewed 10 Korean nurses living in four cities in Germany. Interviews were performed twice in January and July, 2010, and the data, in the form of field notes and interview transcripts, were analyzed using the Agar's (1980) ethnographic method. Results: The ageing experiences of the participants can be summarized into three theme stages: coming upon old age, reluctantly realizing getting old, and finally accepting being old. The first stage is characterized by 'wiring money to homeland all throughout youth', second 'still feeling like a stranger anywhere', and finally 'burying homeland in heart'. Conclusion: The research findings not only suggest crucial materials for training prospective nurses overseas for their successful settlement, but also shed lights on related problems and solutions with ageing experience in overseas employment.

진흙버섯속(상품명: 상황버섯) 재배방법에 따른 경제적 효과 분석 (Economic analysis of Phellinus spp. cultivation)

  • 상황버섯은 한번 접종하여 4년간 재배되는 버섯으로서, 원목의 일부를 땅에 묻어서 재배하는 지면재배 방식으로 상업적 재배가 시작되었으나, 최근에는 보다 집약적인 재배방식으로 원목을 덕(균상)에 매달아서 재배하는 지상재배가 시도되고 있다. 지상재배는 덕(균상)을 만들어 많은 숫자의 골목을 매달아 재배하는 것을 제외하면 그 재배과정이나 작업요령에는 큰 차이가 없다. 다만 지상재배는 덕(균상)이라는 시설투자에 5,678,230원이 더 들고, 원목이 지면재배 5,200본의 2.8배인 14,400본이 소요되어 368만원의 원목비와 그에 따른 종균비 1,104,000원 등이 더 드는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 재배사 100평을 기준으로 한 4년간의 생산비는, 지면재배가 20,180,971원 지상재배가 37,953,825원으로, 지상재배가 지면재배의 1.9배에 이르고, 경영비는 지면재배가 12,077,712원, 지상재배가 24,075,432원으로, 지상재배가 지면재배의 2.0배가 되었다. 순수익은 4년간 100평에서 지면재배가 5억 8,094만원, 지상재배가 16억 8,330만원으로, 지상재배가 2.9배 많았고, 소득은 지면재배가 5억 8,904만원, 지상재배가 16억 9,718만원을 얻을 수 있는 것으로 나타나, 소득도 지상재배가 지면재배의 2.9배가 되었다. 이는 재배 원목수의 차이 2.8배에 골목 1본당 수확량의 차이 1.03(541g : 523g)가 더해진 것과 비슷한 수준으로, 생산비 차이 1.9배나 경영비 차이 2.0배보다 훨씬 크다. 이상을 종합하면, 지면재배는 지상재배에 비하여 투자비는 적게 들지만, 소득도 그만큼 낮고, 재배 원목과 버섯 수확량이 지상재배에 비하여 적기 때문에 저투입-저수익 재배방식이라고 말할 수 있고, 지상재배는 투자비와 노동력 투입이 많지만, 수익은 그보다 더 높다는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 다만 현금흐름 측면에서는, 지면재배의 경우는 첫해의 자금지출은 지상재배보다 적지만, 첫해에 수확이 전혀 없기 때문에 투자 후 2년 정도가 지나야 투자비를 회수할 수 있지만, 지상재배는 비록 첫해의 자금수요는 그보다 크지만, 첫해부터 수확이 가능하기 때문에, 전부는 아니더라도 첫해부터 투자비 회수가 가능하다는 점에도 유의해야 한다고 하겠다.

부분 탈상피화 둔부 전위 피판을 이용한 천미골 털둥지굴의 수술적 치료 (Surgical Treatment of Sacrococcygeal Pilonidal Sinus with the Partial Deepithelized Gluteal Transposition Flap)

  • Purpose: Pilonidal sinus is a frequent disease that occurs mostly in hairy young men, defined as chronic inflammation and infection of the postsacral sinuses. Wide excision of the affected area is the treatment of choice. Many techniques have been described to cover the defect. However none appears to be the ideal procedure to prevent infection, recurrence, and delayed wound healing. We present the results of an alternative technique that we performed by using partial deepithelized gluteal transposition flap for reconstruction of the defect following wide excision. Methods: From October 2004 to September 2007, we performed the partial deepithelized gluteal transposition flap method on 6 patients. We modified the transposition flap techniques by deepithelialising the medial parts of the flap and burying them under the opposing edge of the flap. The results were compared with previous studies and evaluated regarding duration of surgery, size of defect, hospitalization periods, and complications. Results: All the flaps were healed well with no partial or complete loss of the flap. Hospitalization and immobilization periods were acceptably shortened. Recurrence was not seen. The aesthetic outcome was also satisfactory and all patients were satisfied with the results. Conclusion: The main advantage of our techniques is using healthy tissues to obliterate the dead space, to provide an extra-cushion, and to prevent deep dehiscence. We believe that the partial deepithelized gluteal transposition flap is a good alternative method for treatment of pilonidal sinus.

Artificial cultivation of Medicinal Mushroom, Phellinus linteus using Mulberry logs

  • The optimal conditions for mycelial growth of P. linteus ASI 26011 were 25-30$^{\circ}C$ and pH 6.0, respectively. The mycelial growth of P. linteus was excellent on MCM medium. In case of carbon sources, the mycelial growth of P. linteus was best on the culture media that were contained with sucrose, mannose and glucose. Potassium nitrate and sodium nitrate were good for the mycelial growth of P. linteus as a nitrogen source. For comparison of the mycelial colonization of P. linteus on logs, several techniques of inoculation were tested; the sterilized short log inoculation, drilling inoculation and log-end sandwich inoculation. The mycelial colonization of P. linteus on logs was good in the treatment of sterilized short log inoculation, but poor in the traditional methods such as drilling inoculation and log-end sandwich. The initial mycelial growth and the full mycelial colonization of P. linteus were the best on 20 cm logs under the condition of 42% of moisture content in log. Also the initial mycelial growth of P. linteus was accelerated over 12 hours of sterilization. Burying method of logs after 5-6 months of incubation was the best for formation of basidiocarp of P. linteus. The formation of fruiting body of P. linteus was quite good in the cultivation house at the 31-35$^{\circ}C$ and over 96% of relative humidity.

  • 파워 소자의 트레이드오프 현상을 최소화하기 위해 제시된 구조가 Super Junction 구조이다. Super Junction은 기존의 많이 사용하던 기본 구조 대비 1/5 정도의 낮은 온 저항(Ron) 특성을 가질 수 있다. Super Junction 구조의 공정 방법으로 Multi-Epi 공정과 Deep-Trench 공정 방법이 있다. Deep-Trench 공정은 실리콘 기판 상면에 깊은 트렌치 공정을 통하여 그안에 불순물이 도핑 되어 있는 폴리실리콘을 매립하여 P-Pillar를 형성 시키는 공정 방법이라 매립하는 과정에서 결함이 형성되기 쉬워서 비교적 어려운 제조 방법으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 비교적 Deep-Trench 공정으로 만들어진 구조가 낮은 온저항과 높은 항복 전압을 형성하여 좋은 효율을 보인다. 본 논문에서는 공정상의 새로운 방법을 제시하고, Charge Balance 이론을 접목시킨 구조를 설계하였다.

접목상묘로부터 채취한 수목의 이용에 관한 연구 (Use of Winter Buds as Scion Collected from Mulberry (Morus alba L.) Graftages)

  • 접목상묘에서 절단하여 버리는 가지를 수목으로 이용하기 위하여, 움막과 토양 등을 이용하여 8개 저장방법으로 월동시킨 후 정상아비율과 접목후 활착율 등을 조사한 결과 다음과 같았다. 1. 정상아비율이 가장 높은 부위는 청수부로부터 80-120cm 부위에서였다. 2. 저장방법 중 정상아비율이 가장 높은 처리구는 움막저장법이었다. 땅에 묻을 때에는 1/2보다 2/3 묻는 것이 높았으나, 비닐로 완전히 포장하거나 그 위에 가마니로 덮을 경우에는 정상아비율을 현저히 감소시켰다. 3. 육면에 의하여 선별된 정아를 접목하여 활착율을 조사한 결과 정상아비율과 같은 경향으로 움막저장방법에서 가장 높아서 90% 내외를 보였으며, 2/3를 묻고 비닐포장을 완전히 하거나 그 위에 다시 가마니를 덮어 저장하였을 때는 매우 낮아서 81.5-67.5%를 나타냈다. 4. 활착율과 가지 피부의 수분함량과는 부의 상관관계가 높아서 r=-0.71*이었으며, 활착에 알맞는 수분함량은 47-53%로 추정된다. 5. 접목상아로부터 추기에 채취한 수목과 일부 뽕밭으로부터 춘기에 채취한 수목의 활착률을 비교한 결과 접목아에서 채취한 수목이 1.9% 높아서 89.8%를 보였다.

동아시아에서 황칠수(黃漆樹)의 활용에 대한 연구(硏究) (A study of the application of Hwangchil Tree (黃漆樹 Dendropanax morbiferus H.Lév.) in East Asia)

  • Essence of the Hwangchil tree (黃漆樹 Dendropanax morbiferus H.Lév.) has been used for various purposes, like waxing emperor's armors, covering an astrology board, or, during the Silla Dynasty, burying it to block something bad in the soil symbolically. Essence of the Hwangchil tree was known to have remarkable preservation effects such as waterproofing, damp-proofing, rust-proofing, and moth-proofing as well as not being easily peeled off from even soft surfaces like paper. There is a record in Prescriptions for Epidemic diseases of Cows, Horses, Sheep, and Pigs (牛馬羊猪染疫病治療方), published in 1541, of Hwangchil that is local to Jeju Island being used instead of benzoin (安息香), of burning Hwangchil, and of making cows inhale its smoke to prevent plague among them. Along the same lines, there are records in the Local Chronicle of Tamra (耽羅志) and the Book of Earth Geography (輿地圖書) that identify Hwangchil with benzoin. In Seonghosaseol (星湖僿說), a book written by Lee Yik in around 1760, it is acknowledged that Hwangchil could be medicinal herb. In 2000, Ahn Duk-Kyun registered the roots and branches of Hwangchil tree as 'Boncho' (本草 herbal medicine) in the Pictorial Book of Korean Medicinals (韓國本草圖鑑) and presented the method of taking it for medical purpose. Researchers have suggested that Hwangchil essence as well as diverse parts of the plant such as its roots, branches, leaves, flowers, fruits, and gum have various meaningful medicinal properties. Regarding the history and recent researches of using Hwangchil tree, it has various medicinal probabilities such as, 'dispersing miasma' (辟邪), 'opening holes' (開竅), 'waking the heart' (醒心), 'smoothing spirits' (安神), 'piercing the block' (疎泄), 'removing the old and welcoming the new' (去故生新). This paper contributes ideas about how to expand the uses of Hwangchil Tree.

A Revision Restoring Projection after Nipple Reconstruction by Burying Four Triangular Dermal Flaps

  • Background Numerous techniques have been used to achieve long-term projection of the nipple following nipple-areola reconstruction. However, the reconstructed nipple loses projection over time. We describe a technique that uses local flaps to improve the lost projection of reconstructed nipples. Methods Between November 2013 and March 2015, nine patients (11 nipples) underwent revisional nipple reconstruction for lost projection. Only C-H nipple reconstructions were included in this study. The medical history of each patient was reviewed and photographs were taken in front and lateral views. All patients attended routine follow-up visits. Deepithelialized triangular flaps were made on all four sides of the nipple and buried in the opposite corners in order to augment the volume of the nipple. Anchoring sutures were used to attach each triangular flap on the side opposite their point of origin, and the resulting defects were closed directly. Results This procedure was used successfully in nine patients (11 nipples). Adequate projection was achieved in all patients and no complications occurred. The average nipple height was 3 mm before operation, 7 mm one day after operation, 5 mm at the six-month follow-up, and 5 mm at the 12-month follow-up. The average nipple-areolar angle was $164^{\circ}$ before the operation, $111^{\circ}$ one day after the operation, $130^{\circ}$ at the six-month follow-up, and $133^{\circ}$ at the 12-month follow-up. Conclusions The method described provides a solution to the loss of projection in reconstructed nipples. We recommend this technique because it leads to better projection, greater volume, and a more natural shape.

2층 대지모델에서 대지저항률의 비율에 따른 접촉전류에 의한 감전의 위험성 분석 (Analysis of Electric Shock Hazards due to Touch Current According to Soil Resistivity Ratio in Two-layer Earth Model)

  • The touch or step voltages which exist in the vicinity of a grounding electrode are closely related to the earth structure and resistivity and the ground current. The grounding design approach is required to determine the grounding electrode location where the hazardous voltages are minimized. In this paper, in order to propose a method of mitigating the electric shock hazards caused by the ground surface potential rise in the vicinity of a counterpoise, the hazards relevant to touch voltage were evaluated as a function of the soil resistivity ratio $\rho_2/\rho_1$ for several practical values of two-layer earth structures. The touch voltage and current on the ground surface just above the test electrode are calculated with CDEGS program. As a consequence, it was found that burying a grounding electrode in the soil with low resistivity is effective to reduce the electric shock hazards. In the case that the bottom layer soil where a counterpoise is buried has lower resistivity than the upper layer soil, when the upper layer soil resistivity is increased, the surface potential is slightly raised, but the current through the human body is reduced with increasing the upper layer soil resistivity because of the greater contact resistance between the earth surface and the feet. The electric shock hazard in the vicinity of grounding electrodes is closely related to soil structure and resistivity and are reduced with increasing the ration of the upper layer resistivity to the bottom layer resistivity in two-layer soil.

지하시설물의 공공측량 성과심사 방법 개선에 관한 연구 (Improvement on Surveying Performance Evaluation for Public Surveying of Underground Facilities)

  • 1961년 공공측량 제도가 도입되었을 때는 사회기반시설 건설공사와 같은 대규모 측량성과가 주를 이루었지만, 환경변화에 따라 소규모 지하시설물 위주의 측량성과가 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 지하시설물의 측량방법은 관로 매설 후 되메우기 전 실측하는 방법과 되메우기 후 탐사를 이용하는 방법이 있으며, 각각의 장단점이 존재한다. 그러나 탐사를 통해 관로가 관측되지 않는 불탐구간의 발생으로 지하시설물의 위치정확도 확보가 어려워지자 2017년 성과심사 규정을 개정하여 '지하시설물도 작성시기' 항목을 추가하였고 실측을 중심으로 심사하게 된다. 그러나 현장에서는 이와 관련하여 탐사의 장점과 실측의 한계에 대한 의견이 지속적으로 제기되어 왔다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공공측량 제도의 배경과 목적을 고려하여 지하시설물 측량이 공공측량에서 차지하는 비중을 확인하고, 공공측량 시행자 및 수행자를 대상으로 설문조사를 수행, 분석하여 현장 의견을 종합한 개선안을 제시하였다.
