유화처리 정제식용유(ERCO) 사용에 따른 고성능 콘크리트의 Mock-up 및 강도특성 (Strength Property and Mock-up Test of the High Performance Concrete with Emulsified Refined Cooking Oil)

  • In this study, fundamental performances of high strength concrete with ERCO has been analysed according to mock-up test. The following results could be made as the conclusion. For the fresh concrete, flowability and air content decreased with the addition of ERCO, and all the specimens satisfied the target range. For the strength properties, all the specimens with different nominal strength showed higher compressive srength than Plain which with 0% dosage of ERCO.

  • In this study, mock-up test for high strength concrete with ERCO has been carried to analyse the effect of autogenous shrinkage reducing of using ERCO. The following results could be made as the conclusion. Results of EIS were lower than 2.5 and showed good resistance for separation of materials. For the setting time, specimen with ERCO showed delay of setting comparing with Plain. For the autogenous shrinkage, as the generation of saponification, capillary pores inside the concrete were filled by soap and the autogenous shrinkage has been obviously decreased. It could be identified that using ERCO in high strength showed good effect on reducing autogenous shrinkage in high strength concrete.

  • In this study, for the evaluation of field application of low heat concrete using high volume mineral admixture, the characteristics of hydration heat generation and engineering properties of low heat concrete was investigated by mock-up test according to the replacement ratio of mineral admixture. Also, it was evaluated the compressive strength of low heat concrete with curing temperatures and ages for effective concrete mix design considering seasonal change.

  • In this study, using the double bubble sheet to anti-freezing method in winter the soil embanking Mock up as a part of the development process was carried out. As results, two layers of the double bubble sheet effect 12.6℃~13.8℃ temperature difference of out door temperature that proved superior insulation and thermal performance of the double bubble sheet.

  • This study is to evaluate the feasibility of the mix design for exposed concrete. Mock-up sized specimens were prepared, and a flowing concrete method was selected for placement. Results showed that the fluidity and air content of fresh concrete achieved target values, the compressive strength at 7 days was 27 MPa, and surface roughness was in the range of between around 1.53 and 1.68 ㎛, which was in the quality level. Therefore it is concluded that the proposed mix design for exposed concrete can be applied in practice.

  • MOCK-UP TEST was conducted in the extreme region of the cement which was researched and developed by using the reducing slag Experimental results show that the basic properties (air volume, slump) are improved compared with the specimens using Mongolian cement. The compressive strength achieved the target strength (target strength: age 3day: 7MPa, age 7day 14MPa) and the hydration heat was about 8 ℃ higher than that of Mongolian cement products. Therefore, it is considered that the cement powders developed by our company showed the strength of concrete due to high hydration heat even at extreme temperatures.

  • Because of the complicated shape and the overcrowded arrangement of rebar, there are some problems in applying the rebar modulation for the Nuclear Power Plant Structures. In order to resolve these problems, we have been studying the rebar modulation method applying techniques of the high strength rebar for NPP Structure. After reviewing the rebar drawing of the NPP structures and performing the mock-up test, the rebar modulation method in the various area of the NPP Structure has been established. I will introduce this method and the future plan of the research.

  • This paper presents the results of mock up test on the manufacturing of high fluidity concrete by applying flowing methods with segregation reducing type superplasticizer(SRS). Three kinds of mock up structure are made such as. conventional concrete(A), high fluidity concrete(B) and high fluidity concrete incorporating 20% of fly ash(C). Physical and mechanical properties, temperature history of structure and nondestructive test are performed. Segregation reducing type superplasticizer is put into base concrete at field, and base concrete is also flowed at field. C mock up structure which requires 0.85% of SRS to flow base concrete shows most desirable performance at fresh state. The highest rising temperature shows the lowest at C structure among the tested structures. Strength variations before and after flowing also show the lowest values at C structures.

  • This study is conducted to identify improvements in the setting time estimation system through the Mock-up test of the finishing automation system and the setting estimation system. As a result of the study, it is necessary to adjust the spring strength of the setting time estimator and the diameter and length of the estimation needle so that the value of the hardness can be measured from 15HD to around 40HD.

  • Building integrated photovoltaic(BIPV) system operates as a multi-functional building construction material. They not only produce electricity, but also are building integral components such as facade, roof, window and shading device. As PV modules function like building envelope in BIPV, combined thermal and PV performance should be simultaneously evaluated. This study is to establish basic Information for designing effective BIPV by discovering relations between temperature and generation capability through experiment when the PV module is used as roof material for houses. To do so, we established 3kW full scale mock-up model with real size house and attached an PV array by cutting in half. This is to assess temperature influence depending on whether there is a ventilation on the rear side of PV module or not.
