The main purpose of this study is to inves-tigate brand loyalty on ready-to-wear of fe-male. The subjects were two hundred ninty females in Taegu. Using SPSS package in or-der to identify relations of clothing selection behavior and information source uses multivariate analysis of variance(MANPVA) univariate analysis of variance(ANOVA) were executed. Scheffe est a kind of post-hoc multiple comparisons methods was adapted. conclusions reached in this study are as follows: 1. Clothing purchase pattern of consumers classified brand loyal group and brand dis-loyal group. The number of people in the brand loyal group was fifty more than that of the brand disloyal group. 2. In relation of brand loyalty and clothing selection behavior brand loyal group had high scores on individuality and exhibition of clothing selection behavior. Brand dis-loyal group had high scors on economy practicality courtesy facility. 3. In difference of information uses on brand loyalty brand loyal group had high scores on printed-information source, broadcast-ing-information source broadcast-ing-information sources. Among them brand loyal group particularly used printed-infor-mation source more than brocasting infor-mation source. On the contray brand dis-loyal group have high scores on human-in-formation source.
The purpose of the study is to develop the basic pattern of casual jacket for men aged between 25 and 34. Compared to the tailored jackets, casual jackets are designed much more diverse form depending on the target customer, price range and moreover fashion trend. Therefore in order to reduce the cost and time of developing new style, pattern draft from the basic pattern is better approach rather than develop each style form the measurements every time. For men's casual jacket pattern draft, the basic pattern of fit and comfort was developed through following research procedures. 173 men were surveyed about their habit of buying and wearing of casual jackets. MDs and pattern designers of 10 casual wear brands for men were interviewed. As a starting point, 3 different basic patterns were selected. 2 patterns were from the 2 interviewed brands and the last one was the pattern of ESMOD. The 3 patterns were studied by means of comparing measurements and general styling. As a results it was found that the pattern of S brand is featuring I silhouette, the pattern of K brand is featuring H silhouette and the pattern of ESMOD is featuring Y silhouette. The results of wearing test showed that the pattern of S brand is the best among the three. They were to add ease around the chest line and waist line, to relocate the waist line and the break point, to increase the jacket length and upper arm width. The improved pattern was made of polyester for the wearing test. The wearing test showed developed pattern was improved significantly. To verify the use of developed basic pattern, two buttoned single jacket was made.
This study analyzes consumer fashion purchase patterns from a big data perspective. Transaction data from 1 million transactions at two Korean fashion brands were collected. To analyze the data, R, Python, the SPADE algorithm, and network analysis were used. Various consumer purchase patterns, including overall purchase patterns, seasonal purchase patterns, and age-specific purchase patterns, were analyzed. Overall pattern analysis found that a continuous purchase pattern was formed around the brands' popular items such as t-shirts and blouses. Network analysis also showed that t-shirts and blouses were highly centralized items. This suggests that there are items that make consumers loyal to a brand rather than the cachet of the brand name itself. These results help us better understand the process of brand equity construction. Additionally, buying patterns varied by season, and more items were purchased in a single shopping trip during the spring season compared to other seasons. Consumer age also affected purchase patterns; findings showed an increase in purchasing the same item repeatedly as age increased. This likely reflects the difference in purchasing power according to age, and it suggests that the decision-making process for pur- chasing products simplifies as age increases. These findings offer insight for fashion companies' establishment of item-specific marketing strategies.
The study has made theoretical system by thesis journals at home and abroad, material of the Association of Convenience Store Industry of Korea, materials of Statistics Korea and reference books. First, the study examined convenience store's brand image, cognized value, quality level, reliability upon brand, structural relation of purchasing intention, and designed models and theses. Second, the first questionnaire consisted of test items of precedent study, and inspected in advance to inspect reliability and appropriateness, and made correction and supplemented problems. Third, SPSS and AMOS statistics were used to conduct empirical analysis and to find out conclusion and implications. In this study, the subject was consumers who visited local convenience stores such as GS25, Seven Eleven and CU last 3 months to buy PB food. Consumers' consumption pattern and culture made change to be reasonable and practical owing to aging society, nuclear family, women's entering into the society, one person household consumer, and convenient and prompt buying to make different consumption pattern and to make change of commodity distribution pattern. Convenience store took action against change of the trend to expand business area by new distribution channels to get another growth source. Private brand (PB) food that was distributor's brand was expanded. The PB product has been competitiveness of food service industry.
Fashion flagship store is to maximize brand's image, not for sales. As a value for consumption is changing into expression of individual styles and egos through brands' images based on their personalities rather than products, today, people are laying stress on expression of brands' personalities with spatial design of fashion flagship store to create differentiated brand images. This study was designed to examine brand personalities expressed in fashion flagship store's spatial design, and spatial components and ways of expression to influence them, and analyze how brand personality has an impact on brand loyalty. According to the results of this study, brand personality in fashion flagship store's space design of Louis Vuitton has three characteristics such as sincerity, vitality and tenacity, and display, pattern, furniture, color and wall have high influences on expression of its brand personality. Also, the higher brand personality got, the higher brand loyalty went up. These results imply that fashion flagship store's space design expressing differentiated brand personalities influences customers' brand loyalty to constantly use the brands, and thus is highly important for brand marketing of this day.
The purpose of this study is 1) to develop and validate the BRQ construct perceived by brand loyal consumers, 2) to evaluate the predictive capacity of the individual BRQ dimension and brand relationship benefit on consumers' relationship intention, and 3) to identify the distinctive loyalty orientation based on the concept of BRQ. Questionnaire data from 379 brand loyal consumers on BRQ, brand relationship benefit, relationship intention, and their brand loyal behavior pattern were analyzed. The results showed that brand loyal consumers' BRQ composed of 3 dimensions including 'compensational bind', 'self attachment', and 'trust'. In addition, the mediating role of BRQ in predicting consumers' loyal relationship intention was validated using the structural equation model. Regarding the effect of each BRQ dimension on loyal relationship intention, consumers' intention to be loyal to an apparel brand was more explained by self attachment than the other dimensions. This study also intended to provide a useful direction to apparel brands in finding out which relationship quality type is more effective for differentiated marketing strategies by comparing the BRQ of single-brand loyal consumers and that of multi-brand loyal consumers.
This research attempts to analyze the physical characteristics of middle school girls and compare the product sizes and patterns of school uniform blouses by brand. And wearing tests were performed regarding the appearance of blouse by bland. The results are follows. The standard deviation for bust circumference and waist circumference of middle school girls measured in 2004 were showed extremely large difference among individuals compared to the previous results. While waist back length reached adult size by $2^{nd}$ grade high school, bishoulder length reached adult size by $2^{nd}$ grade middle school. And girls after $2^{nd}$ grade middle school had their depth and breadth of bust, underbust circumference and bust circumference growing proportionally. These results need to be reflected in producing a pattern drafting for middle schoolers. By comparing wearing test results on appearance, it was shown that in terms of ease of bust circumference, the expert group evaluated brand with less ease as not having adequate ease compared to brand, while the middle schooler group evaluated as having sufficient ease. The front silhouette also showed same results. This reflects the preference for appearance by the middle schooler group, which is a factor to be considered during pattern drafting of school uniform blouse.
The purpose of this study is to develop Andongpo apparel pattern design connected with the Apparel CAD system. It includes pattern making, grading, marking program. In this study, it will be able to make apparel pattern quickly and accurately by using Apparel CAD system. The results were as following : Computerization of the pattern making process is expected to provide higher accuracy and efficiency in apparel pattern making for narrow and expensive Andongpo. ESMOD pattern making method was selected as basic pattern. Tailored jacket patterns were developed for Andongpo. Refer to and . The jacket patterns developed is automatically depicted by inputting consumer's body size. Tailored jacket patterns for Andongpo were marked by using marking program in Apparel CAD system. The efficiency of marking appeared of 70% or more in Andongpo jacket patterns. This results is showed it has an effect on narrow and expensive Andongpo. 3tailored jacket patterns will be able to make a simulation by 3D Apparel CAD system. The results of this study is expected to provide higher consumer's satisfaction and internet brand launching. In addition, encouraging majority of the young to participate in using CAD program for Andongpo is regarded as beneficial for the reinforcement of competitiveness of traditional clothing business.
The objectives of this study were to classify bedclothes purchase motives and to examine how bedclothes purchase mo-tives and design preferences very accord-ing to age and income. Samples were 217 housewives residing in metropolitan area. Questionnaire included 17 Likert type items of bedclothes pur-chase motive measure 12 items of color preference 7 items of pattern (floral geo-metric abstract stripe plaid polka dot, and paisley pattern). The results of the study were as fol-lows. 1. 5 factors of bedclothes purchase mo-tives were derived by factor analysis ; F .1 'design': F 2. "brand' ; F.3. 'deficiency'; F. 4. 'fabric' F.5. 'economical reason' 2. Subjects perceived design and utility area to be important motives for bed-clothes purchase. 3. Cholor preference of bedclothes was in the order of white pale blue pale green and pale orange. Pattern preference was in the order of stripe plaid solid color floral and polka dot pattern. The combi-nation of patterned fabric and solid color fabric was liked better than the combina-tion of analogic color and the combination of contrasting color. 4. The women in their 20's liked navy blue red stripe plaid pattern and solied color better than 30's and 40's . 40's liked abstract and paisley pattern better then 20's and 30's 5. Low income group lied navy blue and solid color fabric more than the mid-dle and high income group and liked ab-stract pattern less than the middle and high income group. 6. Women in their 20's perceived design to be important motive more than 30's and 40's. 30's perceived brand to be im-portant motive than 20's and 40's 7. High income group perceived design to be important motive more than the middle and low income group. Low in-come group perceived brand and fabric to be less important motives than the middle and high income group, The present findings provide that age and income had a significant effect on bedclothes purchase motives and design preferences of houesewives. The results that white color and the combination of patterned fabric and solid color fabric were liked best indicated that women prefered clean image and chacteristics de-sign of bdeclothes.
Until now, research on consumers' purchasing behavior has primarily focused on psychological aspects or depended on consumer surveys. However, there may be a gap between consumers' self-reported perceptions and their observable actions. In response, this study aimed to investigate consumer purchasing behavior utilizing a big data approach. To this end, this study investigated the purchasing patterns of fashion items, both online and in retail stores, from a data-driven perspective. We also investigated whether individual consumers switched between online websites and retail establishments for making purchases. Data on 516,474 purchases were obtained from fashion companies. We used association rule analysis and K-means clustering to identify purchase patterns that were influenced by customer loyalty. Furthermore, sequential pattern analysis was applied to investigate the usage patterns of online and offline channels by consumers. The results showed that high-loyalty consumers mainly purchased infrequently bought items in the brand line, as well as high-priced items, and that these purchase patterns were similar both online and in stores. In contrast, the low-loyalty group showed different purchasing behaviors for online versus in-store purchases. In physical environments, the low-loyalty consumers tended to purchase less popular or more expensive items from the brand line, whereas in online environments, their purchases centered around items with relatively high sales volumes. Finally, we found that both high and low loyalty groups exclusively used a single preferred channel, either online or in-store. The findings help companies better understand consumer purchase patterns and build future marketing strategies around items with high brand centrality.
