MSPI설계를 통한 유해 트래픽 차단 (Malicious Traffic Protection through MSPI Designing)

  • 이 논문에서는 기존 정보보안체계의 취약성에 대처하고 보다 강력한 침입차단을 위해 통합화 된 인프라스트럭처 구조를 제안했다. 제안된 인프라스트럭처는 정보보안 프레임워크, 기능메커니즘, 통합화구조에 기반한 정보보호스킴으로 구성되었다. 이 논문은 오늘날의 바이러스방역환경에서 악성트래픽을 효과적으로 차단하기 위해서는 인프라스트럭쳐를 기본으로 구조개선과 스캐닝툴의 효과적인 결합을 통한 대응이 최적의 접근방법임을 제시하고 있다. 본 논문을 통해 인프라스트럭처상에서의 성능분석모델을 제시했으며 이 분석모델을 통해 1단계, 3단계, 5단계 차단단계별 성능측정이 가능함을 실험을 통해 보여줬다. 최적의 정보보호를 위한 효율적인 인프라스트럭처 구조는 사용자 또는 사용자조직에 의해 계속적인 진단과 평가 및 튜닝이 필요함을 본 연구에서는 결론으로 강조했다.

Anti-inflammatory effects of porcine placenta in forced swimming tested fatigue mice and RAW264.7 cells

  • Inflammation has been linked to various diseases. Especially, fatigue is a frequent symptom in several inflammatory disorders. Therefore, blocking inflammatory process is effective in fatigue. We investigated whether Denmark porcine placenta (DPP) alleviates fatigue by inhibiting inflammatory reaction using forced swimming test (FST) animal model and RAW264.7 cells. In FST-induced fatigue animal model, the mice which received the DPP for 21 days showed decreases of interleukin $(IL)-1{\beta}$ and IL-6 serum levels. Furthermore, our data revealed that lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced $IL-1{\beta}$, IL-6, and tumor necrosis $factor-{\alpha}$ secretion were markedly inhibited by DPP in RAW264.7 cells without inducing cytotoxicity. LPS-enhanced nitric oxide secretion and inducible nitric oxide synthase expression were inhibited by DPP. The present study also figured out that these effects of DPP were mediated by blockade of caspase-1 and nuclear $factor-{\kappa}B$ activation. Taken together, our results indicated that DPP could be alleviating fatigue as candidate of anti-inflammatory agent.

트랩 주입의 구조적 설계에 따른 LIGBT의 전기적 특성 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of the LIGBT Structure with Trap Injection for Improved Electrical Characteristics)

  • In this paper, the new IGBT structures with trap injection are proposed to improve switching characteristics of the conventional SOI LIGBT. The simulations are used in order to investigate the effects of the position, width and concentration of trap injection region using 2D device simulator MEDICI. And, their electrical characteristics are analyze and the optimum design parameters are extracted. As a result of simulation, the turn off time for the proposed LIGBT model A by the trap injection is $0.78{\mu}s$. And, the latch up voltage is 3.4V and forward blocking voltage is 168V which are superior to that of conventional structure. In addition, the proposed model is achieved more efficient in switching time and process effort. Therefore, It is shown that the trap injection is very effective to reduce the turn off time with a little increasing of on-state voltage drop if its design and process parameters are optimized.

Hologram Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationships Study of N-Phenyl-N'-{4-(4-quinolyloxy)phenyl} Urea Derivatives as VEGFR-2 Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors

  • Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is an important signaling protein involved in angiogenesis, which is the formation of new blood vessels from pre-existing vessels. Consequently, blocking of the vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR-2) by small molecule inhibitors leads to the inhibition of cancer induced angiogenesis. In this study, we performed a two dimensional quantitative structure activity relationship (2D-QSAR) study of 38 N-Phenyl-N'-{4-(4-quinolyloxy) phenyl} urea derivatives as VEGFR-2 inhibitors based on hologram quantitative structure-activity (HQSAR). The model developed showed reasonable $q^2=0.521$ and $r^2=0.932$ values indicating good predictive ability and reliability. The atomic contribution map analysis of most active compound (compound 7) indicates that hydrogen and oxygen atoms in the side chain of ring A and oxygen atom in side chain of ring C contributes positively to the activity of the compounds. The HQSAR model developed and the atomic contribution map can serve as a guideline in designing new compounds for VEGFR-2 inhibition.

이동통신 시스템 기반 신규 호 서비스 향상에 관한 연구 (The study for enhancing new call service in mobile communication system)

  • 이 논문은 무선 네트워크에서 핸드오프 호 블록킹 확률을 만족하면서 신규 호 블록킹을 감소시키기 위하여 속도 적응 우선순위 알고리듬과 트래픽 제어모델을 제안하였다. 전체 트래픽에서 핸드오프 호 발생 비율이 신규 호 발생 비율보다 적을 때 가용채널을 이용하기 위하여 이 방법을 제안하였다. 임계치 이전의 가드채널은 핸드오프 호 블록킹 확률을 보장해 주고, 임계치 이후의 가드채널에서는 우선순위가 높은 신규 호나 핸드오프 호를 할당해 줌으로써 기존의 고정된 가드채널 방식에 비해 신규 호를 보장해줄 수 있다.

Functional Characteristics of C-terminal Lysine to Cysteine Mutant Form of CTLA-4Ig

  • CTLA-4Ig is regarded as an inhibitory agent of the T cell proliferation via blocking the costimulatory signal which is essential for full T cell activation. To improve applicability, we developed the CTLA-4Ig-CTKC in which the c-terminal lysine had been replaced by cysteine through single amino acid change. The single amino acid mutation of c-terminus of CTLA-4Ig was performed by PCR and was checked by in vitro transcription and translation. DNA construct of mutant form was transfected to Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells by electroporation. The purified proteins were confirmed by Western blot and B7-1 binding assay for their binding ability. The suppressive capacity of CTLA-4Ig-CTKC was evaluated by the mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR) and in the allogeneic pancreatic islet transplantation model. CTLA-4Ig-CTKC maintained binding ability to B7-1 molecule and effectively inhibits T cell proliferation in MLR. In the murine allogeneic pancreatic islet transplantation, short-term treatment of CTLA-4Ig-CTKC prolonged the graft survival over 100 days. CTLA-4Ig-CTKC effectively inhibits immune response both in MLR and in allogeneic islet transplantation model, indicating that single amino acid mutation does not affect the inhibitory function of CTLA-4Ig. CTLA-4Ig-CTKC can be used in vehicle-mediated drug delivery system such as liposome conjugation.

다층셀 구조를 갖는 이동통신환경에서의 핸드오버 성능분석 (Performance Analysis for the Handover in Mobile Communication Environment with Multilayered Cell Structure)

  • 본 논문에서는 마이크로 셀과 매크로 셀이 중첩된 구조를 갖는 이동통신 환경에서 핸드오버의 성능을 분석하였다. 제안한 모델에서는 고속으로 이동하는 가입자를 마이크로 셀로 핸드오버하지 않고 매크로 셀로 핸드오버하는 경우의 성능을 분석하였다. 분석의 용이함을 위해 마이크로 셀과 매크로 셀의 모양은 원형이라고 가정하였다. 마이크로 셀에는 저속의 핸드오버 호를 위하여 큐를 두는 방식과 매크로 셀에는 고속의 핸드오버 호를 위하여 예약채널 할당방식을 적용하였다 해석적인 분석결과, 제안한 방식에서 새로운 호의 블러킹 확률의 증가는 미비하면서 랜드오버 실패 확률은 중첩되지 않은 셀 구조를 갖는 시스템에 비해 상대적으로 낮음을 알 수 있었다.

Traffic Analysis of a Cognitive Radio Network Based on the Concept of Medium Access Probability

  • The performance of a cognitive radio network (CRN) solely depends on how precisely the secondary users can sense the presence or absence of primary users. The incorporation of a spatial false alarm makes deriving the probability of a correct decision a cumbersome task. Previous literature performed this task for the case of a received signal under a Normal probability density function case. In this paper we enhance the previous work, including the impact of carrier frequency, the gain of antennas on both sides, and antenna heights so as to observe the robustness against noise and interference and to make the correct decision of detection. Three small scale fading channels: Rayleigh, Normal, and Weibull were considered to get the real scenario of a CRN in an urban area. The incorporation of a maximal-ratio combining and selection combing with a variation of the number of received antennas have also been studied in order to achieve the correct decision of spectral sensing, so as to serve the cognitive users. Finally, we applied the above concept to a traffic model of the CRN, which we based on a two-dimensional state transition chain.

  • 무선 통신 시스템에서는 무선 채널의 속성상 채널 고장과 복구를 고려한 성능분석을 수행해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 고정 혼합 모델과 근사 모델 기법에 대하여 논의하고 이들에 대한 SRN 모델을 개발한다. 고정 혼합 모델은 채널 고장 및 복구와 채널 할당 및 서비스를 혼합한 모델로 상태 크기의 문제점이 발생할 수 있어 이를 해결할 수 있는 계층 모델을 개발한다. 계층 모델은 고장과 복구를 고려한 가용도를 상위 모델로 채널 할당 및 서비스를 하위레벨로 갖는 근사 모델이다. 하위모델은 핸드오프 호를 위한 가드채널과 음성 호의 선점 핸드오프 방식을 모델링한다. 성능지표인 신규 호 차단 확률과 핸드오프 호 분실 확률의 수치결과가 주어진다.

Performance Analysis of S-SFR-based OFDMA Cellular Systems

  • Intercell interference coordination (ICIC) is considered as a promising technique to increase the spectral efficiency of OFDMA cellular systems. The soft frequency reuse (SFR) and fractional frequency reuse (FFR) are representative and efficient management techniques for ICIC. Herein, to enhance the performance of the SFR scheme, we propose a call admission (CAC) scheme. In this CAC scheme, called Spectrum handoff-SFR(S-SFR), the spectrum handoff technique is applied to the user equipment (UE) located near the cell center. We derive the traffic analysis model to describe the S-SFR. In addition, a two-dimensional (2-D) Markov chain and an outage analysis are used in our analytical model. From the traffic analysis, the significant performance measures are the outage probability, call blocking probability, system throughput and resource utilization. Based on those, the outage probability and system throughput are obtained using resource utilization as an interference pattern. The analytical results are verified with computer simulation results. Finally, we compare our proposed scheme with other ICI schemes.
