We investigate the radial properties of the narrow-line region (NLR) in two radio-quiet quasars, PG1012+008 and PG1307+085, using the spectra obtained with the FORS1 at the Very Large Telescope. These high quality spectra with seeing < 0.6" enable us to extract seven two-pixel (0.4") spectra as a function of the radial distance from the accretion disk. In contrast to [OIII] narrow-band imaging, which can be contaminated by starbursts, shock-ionized gas, and tidal tails, we use emission-line diagnostic to determine the true size of the AGN-excited NLR. In this poster, we present the results based on the radial variance of $H{\beta}$ to [OIII] ${\lambda}5007$ ratio. For both targets, the [OIII] emission line exhibits a blue wing, suggesting an outflow of gas. In the case of PG1307+085, the blue wing disappears at the distance of 1". We will discuss the properties of the NLR in detail.

Up to now, Most studies of hydroelasticity are about frequency domain analysis. Those aren't suited for analysis of the landing take-off, and dropping of aircraft on a structure. So, the concern of this paper is the transient behavior of a VLFS subjected to dynamic load, induced by airplane landing and take-off. To predict the added mass, damping coefficient, and wave exciting force, the source-dipole distribution method was used in the frequency domain. The responses are accomplished by using the FEM scheme. A time domain analysis method is based on the Newmark β method to pursue the time step procedure, taking advantage of memory effect function for hydrodynamic effects.

본 논문은 컴퓨터 바둑을 구현하기 위한 프로그래밍 기법을 제시한다. 컴퓨터 바둑은 바둑의 여러 규칙을 가지고 스스로 국면의 형세를 판단한 후, 다음 놓을 자리 를 정확히 계산할 수 있어야 한다. 주요 설계 원칙은 패턴 매칭, 알파-베타 탐색, 영향력 계산 등의 휴리스므틱한 요소를 조합하는 것이다.본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 바둑을 연구하는 사람들의 접근 방법과 그들의 연구결과를 소개하고 컴퓨터 바둑을 구현하기 위한 자료 구조와 알고리즘을 제안하였다.

The main object of this paper is to present a transformation formula for a finite series involving $_3F_2$ and some identities associated with the binomial coefficients by making use of the theory of Legendre polynomials $P_{n}$(x) and some summation theorems for hypergeometric functions $_pF_q$. Some integral formulas are also considered.

The lung has a vital function in gas exchange between the blood and the external atmosphere. It also has a critical role in the immune defense against external pathogens and environmental factors. While the lung is classified as a relatively quiescent organ with little homeostatic turnover, it shows robust regenerative capacity in response to injury, mediated by the resident stem/progenitor cells. During regeneration, regionally distinct epithelial cell populations with specific functions are generated from several different types of stem/progenitor cells localized within four histologically distinguished regions: trachea, bronchi, bronchioles, and alveoli. WNT signaling is one of the key signaling pathways involved in regulating many types of stem/progenitor cells in various organs. In addition to its developmental role in the embryonic and fetal lung, WNT signaling is critical for lung homeostasis and regeneration. In this minireview, we summarize and discuss recent advances in the understanding of the role of WNT signaling in lung regeneration with an emphasis on stem/progenitor cells.

Platycodon grandiflorum have been used as a traditional remedy and food source. This study was performed to investigate the immunomodulating effects of Platycodon grandiflorum in mouse, using ex vivo experiments. Six to seven-week old mice were fed ad libitum on a chow diet, and water extract of Platycodon grandiflorum was orally administrated at two different concentractions (50 and 500 mg/kg B.W./day) every other day for four weeks. In ex vivo experiments, the highest proliferation of splenocytes and levels of cytokine (IL-$1{\beta}$, IL-6, TNF-${\alpha}$) production were observed in 500 mg/kg BW/day supplementation group for all three cytokines stimulated by LPS. In conclusion, this study suggests that Platycodon grandiflorum extracts may enhance the immune function by regulating the splenocytes proliferation and cytokine production capacity by activating macrophages in mice.

Chitin, a linked polysaccharide composed of 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-$\beta$-D-glucopytanose residues, is distributed widely in nature. It has been utilized on various application field due to the development of chitin derivatives such as chitosan, partial deacetylated chitin, carboxylmethyl chitin, sulfated chitin, and so on. Chitin and chitosan have been recently interested in antitumor and antimicrobial activities, because of a powerful tumor inhibitory effect against experimental mouse tumors. Especially, the oligosaccharides obtained by partial degradation of them exhibited a remarkable antitumor effect against sarcoma 180, MM 48 and Meth Asolid tumors and antimetastatic effect against Lewis lung carcinoma in mice. This review describes on antitumor effects of chitin, chitosan and their oligosaccharides by their mechanism of action involving enhancement of immunological system.

Allomatrix (Wright Medical Tech, Inc., USA), is a newly designed, injectable putty with a reliable demineralized bone matrix(DBM), derived from human bone. The compound contains 86% DBM and other bone growth factors such as bone morphogenic protein (BMP)-2, BMP-4, insulin-like growth factor (IGF)-1, and transforming growth factor (TGF)-${\beta}1$. It has excellent os-teoinduction abilities. In addition, DBM is known to have osteoconduction capacity as a scaffold due to its collagen matrix. This product contains a powder, which is a mix of DBM and surgical grade calcium sulfate as a carrier. A practitioner can blend the powder with calcium sulfate solution, making a putty-type material which has the advantages of ease of handling, better fixation, and no need for a membrane, because it can function as membrane itself. This study reports the clinical and radiographic results of various guided bone regeneration cases using Allomatrix, demonstrating its strong potential as a graft material.

During the past four decades or so, due mainly to a wide range of applications from natural sciences to social sciences, the so-called fractional calculus has attracted an enormous attention of a large number of researchers. Many fractional calculus operators, especially, involving various special functions, have been extensively investigated and widely applied. Here, in this paper, in a systematic manner, we aim to establish certain image formulas of various fractional integral operators involving diverse types of generalized hypergeometric functions, which are mainly expressed in terms of Hadamard product. Some interesting special cases of our main results are also considered and relevant connections of some results presented here with those earlier ones are also pointed out.

In this paper, we analyze the necessary and sufficient condition introduced in [5]: that a functional F in $L^2(C_{a,b}[0,T])$ has an integral transform ${\mathcal{F}}_{{\gamma},{\beta}}F$, also belonging to $L^2(C_{a,b}[0,T])$. We then establish the inverse integral transforms of the functionals in $L^2(C_{a,b}[0,T])$ and then examine various properties with respect to the inverse integral transforms via the translation theorem. Several possible outcomes are presented as remarks. Our approach is a new method to solve some difficulties with respect to the inverse integral transform.
