  • Due to the uncertainty of intention recognition for behaviors of users, the intention is differently recognized according to the situation for the same behavior by the same user, the accuracy of user intention recognition by minimizing the uncertainty is able to be improved. This paper suggests a novel ontology-based method to recognize user intentions, and able to minimize the uncertainties that are the obstacles against the precise recognition of user intention. This approach creates ontology for user intention, makes a hierarchy and relationship among user intentions by using RuleML as well as Dynamic Bayesian Network, and improves the accuracy of user intention recognition by using the defined RuleML as well as the gathered sensor data such as temperature, humidity, vision, and auditory. To evaluate the performance of robot proactive planning mechanism, we developed a simulator, carried out some experiments to measure the accuracy of user intention recognition for all possible situations, and analyzed and detailed described the results. The result of our experiments represented relatively high level the accuracy of user intention recognition. On the other hand, the result of experiments tells us the fact that the actions including the uncertainty get in the way the precise user intention recognition.

  • In this study, we propose a cow behavior recognition system based on YOLOX and OC-SORT. YOLO X detects targets in real-time and provides information on cow location and behavior. The OC-SORT module tracks cows in the video and assigns unique IDs. The quantitative analysis module analyzes the behavior and location information of cows. Experimental results show that our system demonstrates high accuracy and precision in target detection and tracking. The average precision (AP) of YOLOX was 82.2%, the average recall (AR) was 85.5%, the number of parameters was 54.15M, and the computation was 194.16GFLOPs. OC-SORT was able to maintain high-precision real-time target tracking in complex environments and occlusion situations. By analyzing changes in cow movement and frequency of mounting behavior, our system can help more accurately discern the estrus behavior of cows.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the effects of the socio-demographic characteristics, self-recognition factors, and health behavior factors of Korean adolescents on suicide dimension, and grasp the effects of suicide thinking of adolescents on attempting suicide. This study used the eighth primitive data of the "Web-based Survey on Adolescents Health Behavior(2012)", and targeted 72,228 actual test respondent(93.8%). In conclusion, risk factors that greatly influence the suicide dimension of adolescents can be summarized into level of happiness, level of stress, depression, experience drinking, experience smoking, experience with drugs, suicide thinking, etc. and considering these risk factors, a preparation for preventing adolescents' suicide should be established, and along with a regular education, developing and expanding a treatment program for preventing recurrence afterwards of adolescents who have experience attempting suicide are necessary.

  • This study was planned in order to investigate coal miners' recognition and attitude toward pneumoconiosis, and its realtionship with related behavior for prevention of pneumoconiosis. Study object was coal miners in Kangneung area, sampled by multistage random proportional sampling. Sample size was 13% of total coal miners in Kangneung area. The results were devided into three parts: (1) descriptive results presented percent distribution, (2) reclassification of knowledge, experiences, and attitude by factor analysis, (3) prediction of health behavior for prevention of pneumoconiosis by discriminant analysis. Knowledge, experiences, and attitude toward pneumoconiosis were classified into nine factors. Knowledge about pneumoconiosis were broken down to two factors and attitude to four factors, and valence, perceived severity were classified into each one factor. According to demographic, socioeconomic characteristics, and factors of knowledge, experiences, attitude about pneumoconiosis, about 62% of behavior of wearing respiratory protector was correctly discriminated. And by the same methods, about 81% of behavior of hospital visit at respiratory symptoms; cough, sputum, chest pain etc. was discriminated correctly.

  • The surveillance system to prevent crime and accidents in advance has become a necessity, not an option in real life. Not only public institutions but also individuals are installing surveillance cameras to protect their property and privacy. However, since the installed surveillance camera cannot be monitored for 24 hours, the focus is on the technology that tracks the video after an accident occurs rather than prevention. In this paper, we propose a system model that monitors abnormal behaviors that may cause crimes through real-time video, and when a specific behavior occurs, the surveillance system automatically detects it and responds immediately through an alarm. We are a model that analyzes real-time images from surveillance cameras and uses I3D models from analysis servers to analyze abnormal behavior and deliver notifications to web servers and then to clients. If the system is implemented with the proposed model, immediate response can be expected when a crime occurs.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of need for closure on college students' problem recognition and communication behavior. Specifically, this research examined differences about situation recognitions and communication behaviors across level of need for closure factors (preference for order and structure, preference for predictability, decisiveness, discomfort with ambiguity, closed-mindeness). The results show that the participants with higher level of discomfort with ambiguity and low level of closed-mindeness are more likely to high problem recognition, constraint recognition, involvement recognition, and doing active communication behaviors.

  • In an effort to enhance the quality of feature vector classification and thereby reduce the recognition error rate of the speaker-independent speech recognition, we employ the Mahalanobis distance in the calculation of the similarity measure between feature vectors. It is assumed that the metric matrix of the Mahalanobis distance be diagonal for the sake of cost reduction in memory and time of calculation. We propose that the diagonal elements be given in terms of the variations of the feature vector components. Geometrically, this prescription tends to redistribute the set of data in the shape of a hypersphere in the feature vector space. The idea is applied to the speech recognition by hidden Markov model with fuzzy vector quantization. The result shows that the recognition is improved by an appropriate choice of the relevant adjustable parameter. The Viterbi score difference of the two winners in the recognition test shows that the general behavior is in accord with that of the recognition error rate.

  • This study analyzed the consumer behavior on the environmentally Benefical clothing through the substantial verification, which was based on theoretical reviews. It also aimed to provided marketing aspects on the design, raw material, product quality, price, and brand recognition of environmentally Benefical clothing. For the substantial, verification following questions were developed. 1) Consumers' interests in purchasing environmentally Benefical clothing. 2) The consumer behavior on the environmental factors of the design, raw material, product quality, price, and brand recognition of environmentally Benefical clothing. 3) The changes in the consumer behavior on negative aspects of environmentally Benefical clothing. 4) The reasons of unfavorable behavior of environmentally unconscious consumers on environmentally Benefical clothing. Substantial data was collected through a survey, conducted on two hundreds and twenty-nine male and female students in graduate and undergraduate schools, resided in Seoul. The collected data was analyzed with Statistical Package for Social Science for Windows, version 8.0, and X2 and T-test were performed. Those results and issues, developed in the analysis of consumer behavior on the environmentally Benefical clothing, could be utilized in the environmental management and the marketing activity for the clothing companies.

  • In the development of various types of sensor technology, the general users smartphone, the environment is increased, which can be seen in contact with the movement recognition device, such as a console game machine (Nintendo Wii), an increase in the user needs of the action recognition-based input device there is a tendency to have. Mouse existing behavior recognition, attached to the outside, is mounted in the form of mouse button is deformed, the left mouse was the role of the right button and a wheel, an acceleration sensor (or a gyro sensor) inside to, plays the role of a mouse cursor, is to manufacture a compact, there is a difficulty in operating the button, to apply a motion recognition technology is used to operate recognition technology only pointing cursor is limited. Therefore, in this paper, using a MEMS-based motion-les Koguni tion sensor (Motion Recognition Sensor), to recognize the behavior of the two points of the human body (thumb and forefinger), to generate the motion data, and this to the foundation, compared to the pre-determined matching table (moving and mouse button events cursor), and generates a control signal by determining, were studied the generated control signal input device of the computer wirelessly transmitting.
