This study surveyed 289 beauty specialized high school students to analyze the relation between beauty curriculum awareness, career education satisfaction, and career decision efficacy. The beauty curriculum was concentrated towards the hair major and technical education for license acquisition, and the career plans were high in employment and college entrance admission. In terms of awareness and satisfaction of the beauty curriculum, nails and entrepreneurship were low (p<0.05, p<0.001), nails were low in career decision efficacy, and makeup and entrepreneurship was low in career education satisfaction (p<0.01, p<0.05). The career education satisfaction was higher as the beauty curriculum awareness rises, and educators had a positive influence on career education satisfaction. The following areas had the positive influence for each section; the school operation and facility area for job information, the curriculum area for future planning and problem solving, and the educator area for self-evaluation (p<0.05, p<0.001, p<0.001). Therefore, it is necessary to improve the curriculum in the majors of make-up, skin, and nails, and effective career education programs should be developed.

The purpose of this study is to develop the fashion coordination course. The first step of this study is to set up the concept of fashion coordination. And the second step is to organize the fashion coordination course depending on the concept of fashion coordination. The concept of the fashion coordination is as foltowed: The goal of the fashion coordinapion is 'making the image' The image in this study is constituted of several concepts, which are perception/conition/impression, bojective/person perception, external/internal content, and simple/complex level. The elements of fashion coordination are the person, the clothing and the accessory. The method of making the image with elements is to harmonize the symbolic aspect of elements, and the beauty aspect of elements too. The fashion coordination course is organized into theory part and practice part. The theory part is composed of theories of 'making the image', the elements, the harmony depending on the concept of fashion coordination. The practice part is composed of exercises to make the image depending on the theory, especially the important point of exercise is Listing the clues that make the image.

Korean embroidery is the long historical industrial arts of real life and has handed down Korean sentiment up to now. Korean traditional embroidered pattern is designed to wish someone's health and luck, who uses the embroidery on the clothes and the goods in real life. Especially, the ten longevity symbols' design is represented as 10 which means perfection in oriental philosophy, the sun, mountain, cloud, water, crane, rock, turtle, pine tree, the elixir of life and deer; these 10 symbols show how ancient Korean believe and wish perpetual youth. However, fiber material used embroidery relic has difficulty in preserving for long period compared to other relic descended from historical events for long time and their preserved state isn't so good owing to have been used directly in the real life. Therefore, it is essentially embossed to preserve the embroidery relic and pattern, and make DB for the data. With preservation of the pictures about the handicraft, it's necessary to preserve embroidery technique and make DB through digital imagination. Through the process, we can apply Korean embroidery image to cul-duct package and digital image related field, and it will be helpful to make the tradition popular. In this study, through the research for the embroidery technique applied pattern on the embroidery relic of ten longevity symbols, we'll establish the cultural identification of Korean embroidery image and then develop a worldwide Korean image.
The start point of a franchise system such as Lotteria was in 1979. Since 1990, the franchise systems in Korea have rapidly spread over all industry types. As 'Franchise Law' was enforced in 2002, the expansion of a franchise picked up its' speed. The barbers and beauty parlors business has the same expansion trend. However, there was no study about the franchise systems in the barbers and beauty parlors business. The purpose of this study was to find the goodness of fit of the structured equation model proposed and identify the significances of relationships in the variables of justice perceptions, trust, satisfactions, business performances, switching barriers, switching cost etc. This study tries to find a solution for a good development between franchisor and franchisee in the barbers and beauty parlors business in Korea. The theoretical considerations about justice of this study is limited in reciprocal relation justice and procedure justice. And it did make simplify for trust, satisfaction, business performance, switching barrier. And switching barrier did measure as dimension of switching coot. From October 26, 2005 to October 29, this study collected 250 survey questionnaires from the franchisees located in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Ulsan, and Keoyng-Nam. In analyses of using SPSS Windows 11.0 and LISREL 8.14, this study used 208 cases because 48 cases did not response appropriately. Tn conclusions. reciprocal justice perception and procedure justice jointly determined trust. Secondly, reciprocal justice perception significantly determined satisfaction. Procedure justice perception negatively determined satisfaction, but this relationship was not significant. Thirdly, reciprocal justice perception positively influenced business performance, and procedure justice negatively influenced business performance, but the last relationship was not significant Fourthly, trust positively significantly influenced satisfaction and business performance. Fifthly, satisfaction positively influenced business performance and true determined switching barrier positively. This study shows following: firstly, a composition concept did make structural relationship and secondly, a reciprocal relation justice of a franchisor did appear as an important variable and it gives positive influence to trust, satisfactions, business performance, switching barriers of the franchisees.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the related to cosmetic studies and to offer the study directions. A journal selected for this study is The Korean Society of Cosmetology only registered on Korea Research Foundation. A total of 493 articles in journal of The Korean Society of Cosmetology were reviewed and analyzed carefully. The results of review and analysis were as follow: The articles of the Korean Society of Cosmetology were classified into varies sections by main subjects, which are Basic Science, Make-up, Hair, Skin, Cosmetic & Hair Product, Beauty History, Beauty Education, Fashion. From the groups of main subjects, it was then classified into secondary subjects. In the result of examined frequencies in main subject of the articles showed highest of 89 in basic science, 84 journals in Beauty Marketing related, 73 in Hair. And from the classified secondary subjects, highest frequencies showed in the study based on second in study based on Cosmetic of 46 and Aesthetician of 41 journals. The research trend in the field of cosmetics showed the quantitative increase of article publication in journals. However, the contents lacked in depth compared to subdivided fields and the target or the method of conduct researches were in disproportion. Therefore, clearness is necessary in definitions of the field of cosmetic study and the standard of division in each fields.
The aim of this study was first to expand participation types in the field of beauty design by examining activities in the field, and second, to seek practical methods for addressing the important issue of social responsibility amid the current pandemic situation. Accordingly, social responsibility in design was examined through a review of previous studies. The features of practice domains and design performance fields were examined comparatively. As a result, it was found that social practices take place in various sectors, with sensibility toward the environment being escalated to a new level in the cosmetics industry. In terms of cosmetics enterprise practices, collecting, recycling, manufacturing, and retail networking has been established to reuse up to 95% of waste resources. Furthermore, ethical responsibility and participation concerning product and service waste resources are recommended, resulting in the supply of eco-friendly products in a virtuous cycle. In terms of systematic policy, even component transformation (such as organic certification and excluding toxic substances) is being carried out. However, it was difficult to identify such responsible activities in Korea; thus, systematic practice is needed. Designers take part in talent donation activities, and it was the sector they prefer the most. However, it is necessary to conduct studies on limitations such as venues equipped with cosmetics procedure equipment and public cosmetics sanitation and make systematic improvement, such that activities can be led with initiative from passive participation.
This study intends to propose the fundamentals of 'Ecovillage' design by researching into the cycle system of material of 'Crystalwaters' which is having been in charge of a leading role of GEN since 1996 (GEN was formed in 1996) as Ecovillage in Australia. First, to secure the water resources, we can store up rain and the water of valley, and dam. Second, we are able to use the natural filter apparatus, do tree-planting of roof to gain better quality of water. Third, it is to save the energy as supplying water. For it, we make the best of a gravity that is one of the cycle principle of water. Forth, to build a Dam can make a site of scenic beauty, do the role of recreation place and provide against emergencies (a fire, drought) as well as make a mild climate. Fifth, it can reduce the environment load because of sewage and garbage as making it compost. This is possible by treating biologically using composting apparatus of the dry or wet process. Sixth, it is to reduce the environmental pollution as to discharge seperating a recycable waste, an organic matter being able to make it compost. Finally, first of all, environmentally friendly inhabitant consciousness from lifestyle and production style plays an importent part for water cycle and the ecological cycle of waste and sewage.

This research was conducted to define the different conventional meanings of face painting, we can come across easily in recent days, in different times and different cultures. The conclusions of the research are as followed. First, the face painting was mainly done for the symbolic function. Second, in un-cultivated groups, face painting was one way of body art expression and in some cases, the color and the pattern was the tool to give a symbolic massage that was more powerful than a language. The characteristics of the patterning was that they adopted wide range of patterns include geriatrics, abstract, animals, plants and especially the abstract patterns have the groups unique symbolic meanings such as specific pattern appears guard god which was the effort of having a wholeness with the pattern. Third, it is known that in un-cultivated cultures, face painting has a symbolic function whereas in modern society, there is an emphasis on a decorative function. Lastly, the various expressions of modern body decorations are seen as a result of social/cultural states of the settlement ethnic culture and the modern life style of the people who want to have direct and active opinions and individualize and differentiate themselves.

In this study, photographs of 600 Korean females aged from 20 to 50years old were indirectly measured in Venus face 2D program. The measurements were analyzed by statistical methods. The purpose of this study was to differentiate the facial types of adult women for the beauty industry. As a result of factor analysis, 6 factors were selected the key factors of facial shape: head height(factor 1), head width(factor 2), side face width(factor 3), head width and circumference(factor 4), face length(factor 5), and side face width(factor 6). We categorized facial type into 5 groups with the previous 6 factor. 5 types were most common facial shapes: Oblong face(type 1), Square face(type 2), Oval face(type 3), Round face(type 4), Triangle face(type 5). The results of facial type analysis were showed that Round face(26.6%), Triangle face(25.3%), Oval face(22.3%), Square face(20.0%), Oblong face(5.7%).
In the modern 21st century society, the personal image is considered to be very important. As a result, the importance of presenting one's personal image through personal color in fashion and beauty related fields are increasing, and is the most realistic and practical field of color. When the color of the wardrobe and the skin color are in disharmony, that disharmony becomes the source of the lines and wrinkles that appear on one's face, resulting in shades. The boundary that is created when the color of the wardrobe and the skin color are in disharmony, it works negatively on one's image. When color arrangements are close or similar (in harmony) or are in complementary color arrangements or in strong contrasting state (contrasting harmony), it is generally believed to be beautifully harmonious. Personal color assessment is finding colors, through systematic and scientific methods, that improve the personal image by reaching harmony with skin colors that each and every individual are uniquely born with. In this study, one was able to learn the improved visual effects of the face image through creating harmony with the wardrobe and color shade make up and complementary colors that were selected based on personal colors. The base make up, through using the contrasting effects of the complementary colors which represents the supplementing, correcting, and complementing of the face image by contrasting with complementary colors, brings positive changes through correcting the base skin color. It is believed that this study finds its importance in that the improved image that is created by the overall harmony of the wardrobe and body can be used as valuable data in marketing and new product development efforts in the related industries.
