In order to solve the current problems and inefficiencies within the Port Authorities(PA) in Korea, this study introduces the concept of the integration of PA and analyses the intention of integration. This study is based on analysing the surveys participated by the members of PA. The surveys consist of six main factors which could influence the intention of integration of PA; contribution, autonomy, strategic factor, financial factor, marketing factor and environmental factor. The two main implications from this study can be categorised as follows. First, this study identifies the structural problems such as regional self-centredness of PA, obscurity of organisations' roles and their rights, limitations on diversification of business and restrictions within PA. Second, this study extensively discusses the option of improving the inefficiency whilst maintaining the current system or to switch to the integration of PA. In addition, it has been found that individual PA recognise the little need for integration. Since the results show that the strategic, financial, marketing and environmental factors would cause both significant and little significant impacts, it would be too haste to decide on a conclusion. However, it is possible to say that the rapid integration of PA can neither improve the efficiency nor improve the characteristics of each region. Therefore, the significance of integration of PA must be further discussed from many different perspectives. The results of this research will serve as a basic literature for further studies on the integration of PA in Korea. Moreover, the problems that have been identified and analysed in this study will contribute to establishing the strategy for further development of PA in Korea.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to draw up sensory integration intervention competency model for occupational therapist and was to confirm a competency model through validation. Methods : We conducted literature review, expert opening survey, and expert focus meeting to draw up draft competency model. And then, we carried out Delphi survey twice and consulted an expert to confirm the sensory integration intervention competency model for occupational therapist. Results : The sensory integration intervention competency model for occupational therapist developed in this study was structured into 4 competency cluster, 15 competency, 60 competency indicators. 4 competency clusters had expertise, professionalism, interpersonal skills, and personal characteristics. Conclusion : The competency model revealed in this study can be used as basic critical data to foster development of competency based curriculum of Korean Academy of Sensory Integration (KASI).

Pentacene based OTFT on PC and PES plastic substrates have been fabricated in a scale of 5 inches. We could get a small OTFT device enough to be applicable for AMOLED by acquiring the at least misalignment margin through a contact aligner. And also we could find out the degradation of device parameter through the integration processes and improve the properties by using a buffer layer as an etch stopper in an active patterning. Through these, the mobility of device is more than about $0.2cm^2/Vs$ and $I_{on}/I_{off}$ is higher than $10^5$.

Under the premise of unbalanced development between urban and rural areas, this study raised criticism that the balanced national development policies in South Korea, which had been promoted in earnest after 'the Participatory Government' has adversely deepened the development gap between urban and rural areas by promoting the development of urban. In the meantime, the agricultural economy that supported the rural economy has gradually collapsed after reckless market opening, and due to the balanced national development policy focusing on urban infrastructure construction, rural areas are facing a crisis of 'depopulation' and 'regional extinction.' For this reason, many local governments have recently recognized the public values of agriculture and have introduced 'agrarian basic income' for the sustainability of agriculture. However, there is a limit to overcoming the crisis in rural areas because the population of farmers among rural residents is only 25%. Therefore, this study proposes the necessity of introducing the basic income for rural residents as a new paradigm for balanced development between urban and rural areas beyond the existing policy limits, based on surveys of opinions of residents living in Chungchengnam-do, South Korea and experts on the introduction of 'basic income for rural residents' in the future.

Article 6 of the Landscape Act stipulates that "the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport establishes a basic landscape policy plan every five years in order to create a beautiful and pleasant landscape, discover and support excellent landscapes." This is a comprehensive plan for landscape policy, a national plan that presents basic directions and strategies for the formation and continuous management of excellent national landscape. The basic landscape policy plan is a plan established every five years. It is an action plan that establishes a medium-term strategy for landscape policy and proposes specific implementation plans. Landscape-related policies are established in various fields, such as the central and local governments, and the private sector, and are based on mutual cooperation. Local cities voluntarily establish basic landscape plans, but in terms of integration, there are few cases in connection with urban regeneration. However, when the existing city establishes the basic landscape plan, the effect will be doubled if a new city is comprehensively constructed in relation to urban regeneration from the overall aspect of the city. Therefore, this study aims to provide data so that a master landscape plan can be established by analyzing and synthesizing the problems of the existing city centering on Jeonju, a representative local city.

Objective : This study aimed to investigate the importance, performance, and educational needs of sensory integration intervention competency for newly employed therapists who use sensory integration intervention. Methods : The general characteristics, importance, performance, and educational needs of sensory integration intervention competency were investigated for therapists with less than three years of experience in sensory integration intervention. Educational needs and rankings were identified through Borich needs analysis. Results : The competency cluster that newly employed therapists perceived as the most important but with the lowest performance level was "Expertise," and the demand of the "Expertise" competency cluster was also the highest in the analysis of educational needs. The difference in importance and performance in all sub-competencies was statistically significant. In the Borich needs analysis, the rank of educational needs was derived as follows: "Evaluation skill" (5.56), "Analysis skill" (5.50), and "Overall knowledge of occupational therapy" (5.47). Conclusion : It was found that the newly employed therapist using sensory integration intervention recognized professional competency as the most important, while also recognizing that their professional competency was low. Accordingly, education to enhance professional competency was most needed. This study presented basic data for the direction of education to strengthen competency in consideration of the educational needs of newly employed therapists.

In wireless and handheld platforms area, performance, power and cost are key metrics for product success. This is driving increasing levels of on-chip integration in state-of-the-art application processors. The purpose of this project is to optimize and design the energy-efficient embedded system that properly displays video and audio in real time. The requirements are for the media player to be capable of decoding real-time streaming video and audio with the least possible energy consumption for a variety of different clips at different resolutions. We implemented this Linux based multimedia player on Intel's PXA27x platform.

It is necessary for us to have proper synchronization technology in order for continuous media and non-continuous media to be integrated and presented. In case of continuous media, it would be possible to convey significant information only after relevant synchronization is completed in the continuous media itself. In this thesis, I mentioned integration of these multi-media, basic notion of synchronization and synchronization technology. In order to process synchronization, I have researched into information used to fractionize methods regarding synchronization. And I have also discussed synchronization problems found in integration of continuous multi-media and through researching into case study of MHEG, I have analyzed how the synchronization of multi-media is processed and applied.

Modified virtual crack closure integral (MVCCI) technique has become very popular for computation of strain energy release rate (SERR) and stress intensity factor (SIF) for 2-D crack problems. The objective of this paper is to propose a numerical integration procedure for MVCCI so as to generalize the technique and make its application much wider. This new procedure called as numerically integrated MVCCI (NI-MVCCI) will remove the dependence of MVCCI equations on the type of finite element employed in the basic stress analysis. Numerical studies on fracture analysis of 2-D crack (mode I and II) problems have been conducted by employing 4-noded, 8-noded (regular & quarter-point), 9-noded and 12-noded finite elements. For non-singular (regular) elements at crack tip, NI-MVCCI technique generates the same results as MVCCI, but the advantage for higher order regular and singular elements is that complex equations for MVCCI need not be derived. Gauss numerical integration rule to be employed for 8-noded singular (quarter-point) element for accurate computation of SERR and SIF has been recommended based on the numerical studies.

This thesis is based on an in-depth interview on participation experience of ten immigrants who reside in S Multi-cultural Family Support Center that is located in Gyeonggi-do in Korea Immigration & Integration Program(KIIP). The purpose of this research is to present through it's basic data for improvement in the operation of KIIP in the future by grasping participation process in KIIP that the immigrants have experienced, problems involved in their operation, and related requirements. Major results of the research are as follows: First, the motive for the immigrants' participation in KIIP was to acquire Korean nationality, learn Korean, and prepare for their future in Korea. Second, as a difficulty in participation in KIIP, access to educational institutions loomed large. Third, regarding improvements in the operation of KIIP, marriage immigrants needed to continue Korean language education, whereas other immigrants revealed a demand for opening evening classes or weekend classes. In the final analysis, it seems that for KIIP to provide an opportunity for the immigrants to have a vision for their life in the future, as well as for its realization in Korean society, policy-oriented institutional support that pays attention to their life situation and demands is badly needed.
