베이비붐 세대의 사회적 자본이 실제적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 심리적 정체성의 조절 효과를 중심으로 (The Effect of Social Capital of Baby Boomers on Practical Well-Being Focused on the Modulating Effect of Psychological Identity)

  • 본 연구는 베이비붐 세대의 사회적 자본이 심리적 정체성과 실제적 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 대구시에 거주하는 노인복지관과 문화센터 이용중인 286명을 대상으로 실증 조사하였다. 연구 결과, 베이비붐 세대의 사회적 자본의 신뢰(t=6.893, p<.05), 참여(t=5.157, p<.05), 네트워크(t=8.093, p<.05), 규범 및 호혜성(t=4.787, p<.05)은 실제적 안녕감에 유의한 영향을 미치고, 사회적 자본의 신뢰가 실제적 안녕감에 미치는 영향에서 심리적 정체성에 따른 조절효과(t=2.023, p<.05)를 보이는 것으로 나타나 부분 채택되었다. 이러한 결과는 급속한 경제성장기 속에서 쌓은 사회적 유대와 가족 친척간의 돈독한 신뢰관계가 사회적 자본에 대한 긍정적인 기대심리와 작용하여 실제적 안녕감에 중요한 영향을 미치며, 신뢰관계가 높고 심리적 정체성이 상위일수록 실제적 안녕감 또한 높다는 것을 의미한다. 따라서 은퇴 시점에서 사회적 역할의 상실과 활동 축소 등으로 심리적 정체성이 낮아질 경우 실제적 안녕감이 떨어질 수 있다는 점에서 이들이 참여할 수 있는 다양한 교류 프로그램과 단체 활동 및 봉사활동 프로그램에의 참여를 증진시킬 수 있는 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 현재 베이비부머 세대들의 대다수는 노후에 대한 실질적인 대비 부족으로 국가의 제도적 혜택마저 제대로 보장받지 못하는 현실에서 이들을 위한 국가 복지적 관점에서의 제도적 보완이 요구됨을 시사한 것으로 평가할 수 있다.

  • The advent of an aging society has raised the necessity for housing development to meet the growing demands of baby boomers expected to act as the main consumers in the future housing market. This study aims to identify the characteristics of apartment houses favored by baby boomers in their post-retirement plans. Based on a literature review and survey, the study is targeted at a certain baby boom generation residing in mid- sized and large-sized apartments with a floor space of more than 30 pyeong in Gangnam, Seoul. The study reveals that baby boomers favor an active post-retirement life where they can enjoy proper leisure without considerable change in daily routines, and for that reason they choose an apartment house well equipped with neighboring, convenient facilities for their post-retirement. Their housing size shows a downward tendency in response to changes in economic conditions and number of family members living together. Health-related factors such as a comfortable natural environment and greenery also play a key role in their residence selection. Their regional preference is divided into the downtown and suburbs, and thus it will be necessary to satisfy the needs of these two consumer groups in the future housing market. This study lays the foundation for offering basic materials for the development and marketing of apartment houses.

클래식 패션 이미지와 감성 어휘 연구 - 베이비붐, Y세대 여성을 중심으로 - (A Study on Classic Fashion Image and Sensible Vocabularies - Focusing on Women of Baby Boom and Y Generations -)

  • Modern fashion shows the trend of various styles and the period focusing on only product functions is changed to the period focusing on consumer's sensibility. Consumers show different sensitivities and preference by individual at the stage cognizing and recognizing the stimulation of given image and the method of objective measurement based on the fashion sensible vocabularies is necessary to measure fashion sensibility. Therefore, this research is significant to examine differences of preference to classic fashion by generation and awareness for sensible vocabularies and suggest methodology of design sensible evaluation research through the quantitative evaluation objectifying subjective sensibility. For the method of research, precedent theses related to classic, concept and characteristics of classic in books and definition and characteristics by generation were examined, the best 3 domestic portal sites were selected and adjective vocabularies and images related to classic were collected from 2010 to 2014. Among the 206 adjectives collected, vocabularies whose average is more than 3.5 were drawn by 5-point Likert scale for fashion expert group. And, among the total 306 images collected, 21 representative images were selected by preliminary investigation of fashion expert group. For the classic images and vocabularies selected, frequency analysis, factor analysis and variance analysis were conducted by SPSS 19.0. The results of analysis are as follows. Preference to classic fashion image by generation was analyzed. As a result, both of two generations selected classic fashion as the most classic one. The images of the next orders were analyzed. As a result, Y generation selected basic classic fashion image which is casual with high activity as a classic one. Baby boom generation selected ancient classic fashion image, so there were differences in preference for classic by generation. As a factor analysis on classic adjective vocabularies, they could be divided into 5 factors such as basic form, attractive form, traditional form, vintage form and active form and they verified that credibility of all measuring variables for classic sensible vocabularies was achieved. Differences of classic sensible vocabularies by classic fashion image and generation were examined. As a result, generation and classic fashion image made a significant effect on five factors. Therefore, there were differences of the awareness on classic fashion images and sensible vocabularies among the generations and this thesis can be a fundamental material which objectifies subjective sensibility and suggests the methodology of new research.

장기인구성장과 노동력 수급 전망 (Impact of Population Growth on Labor Force and Employment in Korea; Transition and Prospect)

  • Three stages of population growth during last forty years affected differently to the labor force and employment in Korea. The first impact of rapid population growth on the labor force occured after the end of World War II. Sudden growth of population due to repartriation and refugees directly increased the labor force. Deteriorating labor market conditions were caused not only by the explosive labor supply but also by the shortage of employment opportunities due to a lack of productive facilities. This severe excess supply of labor continued until the early 196Os. Population growth in the second stage which caused by high fertility during the post Korean War baby boom period induced an eventual increase in the labor supply with time lag of more than fifteen years. Younger persons born during baby boom period were flooded the labor market. Fortunately, job opportunities were expanded more rapidly than the labor force supply because high rates of economic growth and speedy industrialization were continued until the later half of 1970s. Unemployment, therefore, decreased dramatically during this period. The effect of third stage which is characterized as mitigated population growth due to birth control has appeared in the labor market since late 1970s. The growth rate of labor force has been going down and the proportion of younger workers was also been decreasing. From the early 1980s, furthermore, partial disharmony between supply of and demand for the younger workers is closing up. Less educated younger workers who works at low wage are lacking while more educated youngers who want to work at high wage are being excess, because a lot of younger prefer higher education rather than productive job. It is expected that the structural inharmony will be diversified in the future in Korea. The labor force will be changed to middleaged, highly educated and womenized till year 2000, and, after then, to old-aged. On the demand side, industries and jobs will transferred to be labor-saving and soft. These structural changes of labor supply and demand will not matching in time. Aggregate supply of labor force will be steadily increasing more rapidly than aggregate demand for labor until year 2000, and this trend will continue to the first one or two decades of the 2lth century because the persons born dufing the baby boom pariod are being eligible couples in recent. Therefore, conclusion is that appropriate manpower development policy as well as sustained birth control policy is necessary for harmonizing the structural unbalance and the disequilibrium between aggregate labor supply and demand in the future.

복합쇼핑몰에서의 세대별 몰링문화에 관한 연구 - 엔터테인먼트 경험을 중심으로 - (Generational malling culture in multi-complex shopping malls - Entertainment experiences -)

  • Malling culture, which refers to the enjoyment of shopping in multi-complex malls with shopping, cultural, and leisure facilities, has emerged as a major trend in society. However, few studies have researched malling culture in depth. This study classified people who go to multi-complex shopping malls as belonging to the baby-boom generation, X-generation, or Y-generation to investigate consumer culture in malls, with an emphasis on user satisfaction and entertainment experiences. Consumers who had shopped in a multi-complex shopping mall during the last 6 months were surveyed. Data were collected through a research company, and responses from 417 subjects were used in the analysis. Among the 417 subjects, 130 were baby-boomers, 136 were from the X-generation, and 151 were from the Y-generation. Investigating the components of multi-complex shopping malls that stimulate entertainment experiences, this study found that exploratory, emotional, and leisure experiences were enhanced when users were more satisfied with the image, atmosphere, and events of shopping malls. In addition, mall image and atmosphere contributed to the improvement of social experiences. With regard to generation, baby-boomers and subjects from the X-generation were generally more satisfied with mall atmosphere, image, and events and had more exploratory and leisure experiences. This study holds significance in that it examined malling culture from a wider perspective than simply the younger generation and presented scholarly and marketing implications based on insights into generational malling culture.

베이비붐세대 남성의 자살생각에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors Influencing Suicidal Ideation in Male Baby Boomers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing suicidal ideation in male baby boomers. Methods: This was a descriptive survey study. Data were collected from December, 2012 to June, 2013 from 194 participants. The instruments used included a suicidal ideation questionnaire, somatic symptoms scale, spiritual well-being scale, communication with spouse scale, and social support scale. Data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: Suicidal ideation was influenced by learning needs on psychological coping, somatic symptoms, existential spiritual well-being, and communication with spouse. Somatic symptoms (${\beta}$=.39, p<.001), existential spiritual well-being (${\beta}$=-.20, p=.009), learning needs on psychological coping (${\beta}$=.16, p=.008), and communication with spouse (${\beta}$=-.15, p=.031) accounted for 37% regarding suicidal ideation in male baby boomers. Conclusion: We found an association of lower levels of existential spiritual well-being and communication with spouse, higher suicidal ideation. Higher suicidal ideation was also observed in people who had no learning needs on psychological coping compared with those who had. Based on the outcomes of this study, design of an intervention program that emphasizes existential spiritual well-being and communication with spouse is necessary in order to decrease suicidal ideation in male baby boomers.

세대별 기혼남성의 가사노동시간 연구: 베이비붐세대, X세대, Y세대를 중심으로 (A Study on Household Labor Time of Married Men by Generation -For the Baby Boom generation, Generation X, and Generation Y-)

  • 본 연구는 기혼 남성의 가사노동참여 양상의 변화를 파악하기 위해 남성의 가사노동시간의 영향 요인을 세대별로 파악하는 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 기혼남성을 베이비붐세대, X세대, Y세대로 구분하고, 각 세대별 가사노동참여 요인을 가사노동 참여가설을 적용시켜 분석해 보았다. 자료는 통계청 '2019년 생활시간조사' 원자료를 사용하였다. 기혼남성의 가사노동시간에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하기 위해 다항로지스틱 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 베이비붐세대 기혼남성의 가사노동시간은 경제적 효율성가설과 성역할태도가설, 요구반응가능성가설에 의해 설명이 가능하고, X세대 기혼남성의 가사노동시간은 경제적 효율성가설, 성역할태도가설, 시간가용성가설, 요구반응가능성가설 모두에 의해 설명이 가능하였다. 반면, Y세대 기혼남성의 가사노동시간은 시간가용성가설과 요구반응가능성가설에 의해서만 설명이 가능하였다. 세대별로 가사노동참여의 동인이 다르다는 사실은 남성 대상 일가정양립지원 정책수립에 있어 세대별 특성을 고려해야 한다는 점을 시사해준다.

  • 최근 우리사회는 사회경제적으로 급격한 변화를 맞이하고 있다. 세계에서 가장 빠른 속도로 고령화가 진행되는 가운데 베이비붐 세대의 퇴직이 본격화되고 있다. 이러한 베이비붐 세대는 지난 70~80년대 우리경제발전의 주역으로 퇴직 후 재취업의 현실적 어려움과 미흡한 노후준비 및 이들의 복지와 의료문제 등이 국가적 현안으로 대두되고 있다. 이에 정부는 금년부터 시니어의 강점을 적극 활용하여 생산적 경제활동 참여를 위해 시니어창업육성정책을 수립하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 시니어창업의 중요성에도 불구하고 시니어의 욕구와 시니어창업의 구체적인 특성을 규명하는 연구는 전무한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 시니어의 구체적인 특성과 창업의도 및 성공창업의 핵심역량인 기업가정신에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하고 시니어창업의 활성화 방안을 제시하였다.

베이비붐세대 여가활동 참여자의 여가열정과 자아실현 및 심리적 행복감의 관계 (The Relationship between Leisure Passion, Self-Realization, and Psychological Well-being of Participants in Leisure Activities of Baby boomers)

  • 본 연구에서는 여가활동에 주기적으로 참여하는 베이비붐세대를 대상으로 여가열정과 자아실현 및 심리적행복감 간의 관계를 살펴보고 이를 바탕으로 베이비붐세대들의 여가스포츠 참여를 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 그 목적으로 진행되었다. 본 연구는 서울 및 경기 지역에서 여가활동에 참여하고 있는 1995년~1963년 사이에 출생한 베이비붐세대를 연구대상으로 비확률 표본추출법(non-probability sampling) 중 편의표본추출법(convenient sampling method)을 이용하여 설문지를 작성하도록 하였다. 총 310명의 자료처리분석으로 연구의 목적을 달성하고자 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 통해 빈도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 구조방정식 모형분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여가열정은 자아실현에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아실현은 심리적행복감에 영향을 미치고 있다. 셋째, 여가열정은 심리적행복감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 베이비붐세대의 여가참여에 따른 여가열정과 자아실현, 심리적행복감의 관계에서 모든 경로가 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 여가열정은 심리적행복감에 간접효과를 갖는 것으로 나타나 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

베이비붐세대 은퇴예정자의 정보이용행태에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Study of the Everyday Life Information Seeking Behavior of the Baby-boomers as Pre-retirees)

  • 본 연구는 50대 공직자 500명의 일상에서의 정보탐색행태와 패턴을 탐색하고자 하였다. 구조방정식을 활용한 설문자료분석은 은퇴예정집단으로서 베이비붐세대의 개인정보환경, 개인정보추구태도, 온라인정보태도, 정보추구의 장애, 은퇴기대와 도서관기대라는 6개의 변수간의 상호 연관관계 모형을 보여주고 있다. 그 중 개인정보환경과 정보추구태도는 은퇴기대와 유의미한 관계가 있음을 입증하였다. 이 연구결과는 노령사회를 대비하여 새롭게 부상하게 될 도서관이용자집단에 대한 도서관정책개발의 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
