자기결정성이론 기반 관상동맥중재술 환자의 건강행위 이행 구조모형 (A Structural Model of Health Behavior Compliance in Patients with Percutaneous Coronary Intervention based on Self-Determination Theory)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to construct and test a structural equation model of health behavior compliance among patients with percutaneous coronary intervention based on self-determination theory. Methods: A total of 227 participants who received follow-up care after percutaneous coronary intervention were recruited. A structured questionnaire was used to assess health providers' autonomous support, basic psychological needs, autonomous motivation, controlled motivation, type D personality, and health behavior compliance. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0 program. Results: The final hypothetical model showed a good fitness with data: GFI=.94, RMSEA=.07, CFI=.96, NFI=.92, TLI=.94. The results revealed that autonomous support of health care providers, basic psychological needs, and autonomous motivation, and D-type personality accounted for 51.8% of health behavior compliance. Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate that enhanced autonomous support of health care providers is essential to promote patients' basic psychological needs and autonomous motivation. This leads to maximized compliance to the health behaviors among patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention. We recommend that health care institutions establish various measures to foster the special environments in which health care providers can actively provide and utilize autonomous support for their patients.

  • 기술의 발전에 따라 항만을 구성하는 시스템들이 급속도로 고도화되고 있다. 근래에는 시스템 간 연결성이 크게 확대되어 이를 활용한 연구 사례가 많이 보고되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 자율운항선박을 대상으로 하는 선박 입출항지원시스템의 개념 설계와 초기 연동 구조 설계 결과를 다룬다. 개발되는 시스템은 선박의 입출항 지원 기능을 수행하기 위해 선박의 운항 정보, 육상의 레이더, AIS 정보 등을 필요로 하며, 이러한 데이터를 활용하고 연계하기 위한 구조가 소개된다.

Roles of Autonomous Motivation, Individualism, and Instructor Support in Student-Centered Learning in South Korea and the United States

  • It is commonly understood that students' autonomous motivation and individualistic orientations and instructors' autonomy support are important for student-centered learning (SCL). However, few studies have examined this assumption. To help researchers and practitioners design more engaging SCL experiences across diverse cultural contexts, this study examines the associations of these factors with SCL engagement and how these associations compare in different cultures. University students in South Korea and the United States participated in a bold SCL assignment, called Pink Time, in which students decide what and how they learn. Linear, multivariate models were estimated in each context to identify and compare relationships between SCL engagement and student characteristics and perceptions. We found that engagement was high in both contexts. Autonomous motivation, individualism, and perceived instructor support each had significant associations with SCL engagement in South Korea. In the US, which had a smaller sample size, only perceived instructor support was significantly associated. These findings suggest that SCL strategies can be effective across cultures. Also, the narrower classroom context, specifically instructors' support, may be a stronger driver of engagement than the broader societal context. This study contributes to the scholarly discussion regarding SCL in diverse settings and offers several implications for instructors.

Drivable Area Detection with Region-based CNN Models to Support Autonomous Driving

  • In autonomous driving, object recognition based on machine learning is one of the core software technologies. In particular, the object recognition using deep learning becomes an essential element for autonomous driving software to operate. In this paper, we introduce a drivable area detection method based on Region-based CNN model to support autonomous driving. To effectively detect the drivable area, we used the BDD dataset for model training and demonstrated its effectiveness. As a result, our R-CNN model using BDD datasets showed interesting results in training and testing for detection of drivable areas.

간호대학생의 성취목표가 자기조절학습능력에 미치는 영향: 자율성지지의 매개효과 (The influences on the self-regulated learning ability due to nursing students' achievement goal: Focusing on the mediating effects of autonomous support)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 성취목표가 자기조절학습능력에 미치는 영향과 교수자의 자율성지지의 매개효과를 확인하고자 시도된 서술적 조사연구이다. 2018년 4월부터 5월까지 C도에 소재하는 대학의 간호학과 학생들을 편의표집하여 수집된 294명의 자료를 SPSS/WIN 21.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 성취목표와 교수자의 자율성지지는 자기조절학습능력에 유의한 영향을 주는 요인이었으며, 성취목표의 하부요인 중 숙달목표(r=.626, p<.001)와 수행접근목표(r=.553, p<.001)는 자기조절학습능력과 정적 상관, 수행회피목표와 자기조절학습능력과는 부적 상관(r=-.326, p<.001)이 있었다. 교수자의 자율성지지의 매개효과를 확인하기 위해 2단계의 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 부분매개효과가 있었으며, Sobel test로 검정한 결과 교수자의 자율성지지는 숙달목표가 자기조절학습능력에 미치는 영향에 부분매개효과가 있었다(Z=3.922, p<.001). 본 연구는 자기조절학습능력을 강화하기 위한 한 가지 방법을 모색했다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 자기조절학습능력 강화와 관련된 요인을 확인하는 후속연구를 통해서 관련요인들의 융합을 통한 새로운 교수법이 개발되어야 할 것이다.

자치적 방어 시스템을 위한 모델베이스기반 설계 (Model-based Design for Autonomous Defense Systmes)

  • The major objective of this research is to propose a design architecture for autonomous defense systems for supporting highly intelligent behavior by combining decision, perception, and action components. Systems with such high levels of autonomy are critical for advanced battlefield missions. By integrating a plenty of advanced modeling concepts such as system entity structure, endomorphic modeling, engine-based modeling, and hierarchical encapsulation & abstraction principle, we have proposed four layered design methodology for autonomous defense systems that can support an intelligent behavior under the complicated and unstable warfare. Proposed methodology has been successfully applied to a design of autonomous tank systems capable of supporting the autonomous planning, sensing, control, and diagnosis.

Analyzing the Factors Influencing the Intention to Adopt Autonomous Ships Using the TOE Framework and DOI Theory

  • The development and operation of autonomous ships are spotlighted as a next-generation technology that will provide newbenefits for the maritime business during the fourth industrial revolution. To expand the adoption of autonomous ships, the much more interest of the nation and the industries will have to be changed to actual adoption in shipping companies. For this, it is judged that research to identify the factors impacting the adoption intention of autonomous ships should be preceded. However, most studies on autonomous ships have focused on developing the technology, revising the law, establishing policies, and managing human resources, with few studies on influencing factors in the adoption of autonomous ships. A model, to identify the factors that impact the intention to the adoption of autonomous ships, based on the theory of diffusion of innovation and the TOE framework was developed. The suggested model was verified through empirical analysis targeting the shipping companies and the marine industries in Korea. As the result of this study, it was found that top management support, financial slack, and competitive intensity significantly impacted the intention to adopt autonomous ships. Additionally, it was revealed that the overall awareness of autonomous ships among Korean shipping companies is poor.

강직성 척추염 환자의 운동정도 예측모형 (A Prediction Model of Exercise Level in Patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to construct and test a hypothetical model to explain the predictive factors and causal pathways for exercise levels in patients with ankylosing spondylitis based on the self-determination theory. A conceptual framework was constructed assuming that autonomy support by health care providers would satisfy the three basic psychological needs of patients, which would increase their autonomous motivation for exercise, resulting in its initiation and continuation. Methods: This cross-sectional study included 221 patients with ankylosing spondylitis who were visiting rheumatology clinics in two tertiary hospitals. Health Care Climate Questionnaire-exercise regularly, Basic Psychological Needs Satisfaction scale, Behavior Regulation in Exercise Questionnaire-2, and exercise level were used to collect data. Results: The fitness of the hypothetical model met the recommended level (𝛘2/df ≤ 3, SRMR ≤ .08, RMSEA ≤ .08, GFI ≥ .90, AGFI ≥ .85, NFI ≥ .90, TLI ≥ .90, CFI ≥ .90). The model effect analysis revealed that autonomy support by health care providers had a positive effect on patients' autonomy, competence, relatedness, autonomous motivation, and exercise level. Competence and relatedness had positive effects on autonomous motivation and exercise level, respectively. Autonomous motivation had a positive effect on exercise level. Conclusion: The predictive factors of exercise level in patients with ankylosing spondylitis were autonomous motivation, health care providers' autonomy support, competence, and relatedness. Considering these factors, we recommend the development of an effective program for improving exercise levels in these patients.

AI 컴포넌트 추상화 모델 기반 자율형 IoT 통합개발환경 구현 (Implementation of Autonomous IoT Integrated Development Environment based on AI Component Abstract Model)

  • 최근 이질적인 하드웨어 특성을 고려한 IoT 응용 지원 프레임워크의 효율적인 프로그램 개발이 요구되고 있다. 또한, 인간의 뇌를 모사하여 스스로 학습 및 자율적 컴퓨팅이 가능한 뉴로모픽 아키텍처의 발전으로 하드웨어 지원의 범위가 넓어지고 있다. 하지만 기존 대부분의 IoT 통합개발환경에서는 AI(Artificial Intelligence) 기능을 지원하거나 뉴로모픽 아키텍처와 같은 다양한 하드웨어와 결합된 서비스 지원이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 2세대 인공 신경망 및 3세대 스파이킹 신경망 모델을 모두 지원하는 AI 컴포넌트 추상화 모델을 설계하고 제안 모델 기반의 자율형 IoT 통합개발환경을 구현하였다. IoT 개발자는 AI 및 스파이킹 신경망에 대한 지식이 없어도 제안 기법을 통해 자동으로 AI 컴포넌트를 생성할 수 있으며 런타임에 따라 코드 변환이 유연하여 개발 생산성이 높다. 제안 기법의 실험을 진행하여 가상 컴포넌트 계층으로 인한 변환 지연시간이 발생할 수 있으나 차이가 크지 않음을 확인하였다.
