논의-기반 탐구 과학수업에서 역할분담에 따른 고등학생들의 인성 역량 변화 분석 (Analysis of Character Competency Change in High School Students by Role Assignment in Argument-Based Inquiry(ABI) Science Class)

  • 이 연구는 현장의 과학 수업의 학생들의 인성 여량에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 교과교육을 통한 인성 교육의 가능성을 제시하기 위해 탐구 전 과정에서 논의와 글쓰기를 강조한 논의-기반 탐구(Argumentbased Inquiry, ABI) 과학수업을 교수학습 전략으로 적용하였다. 논의-기반 탐구(ABI) 과학수업에서 역할분담을 변인으로 하여 역할분담을 한 집단(ABI-R집단)과 역할분담을 하지 않은 집단(ABI집단)의 두 집단으로 나누어 집단별 인성 역량 변화를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 광역시에 위치한 남녀공학 일반계 고등학교 2학년을 대상으로 하여 2개 학급 51명은 논의-기반 탐구(ABI) 과학수업에서 역할분담을 하고(ABI-R집단), 2개 학급 46명은 역할분담을 하지 않았다(ABI집단). 4개의 탐구 주제를 총 10시간에 걸쳐 진행하였으며, 처치 전 동일시기에 인성지수 검사를 실시하고 사후 인성지수 검사를 실시하여 변화를 분석하였다. 논의-기반 탐구(ABI) 과학수업의 마지막 단계의 반성 글쓰기에 나타나는 인성 역량을 알아보았고, 과학 수업을 통한 인성 역량 함양에 대한 설문지를 통해 학생들의 인성 교육에 대한 인식 조사를 실시하였다. 과학교과의 논의-기반 탐구(ABI) 과학수업에서 역할분담을 적용한 집단(ABI-R집단)이 역할분담을 하지 않은 집단(ABI집단)의 인성지수 검사 결과, ABI-R집단이 ABI집단 보다 인성 역량 변화가 통계적으로 유의미하게 높았다. 특히, 인성 역량의 하위 요소 중 공감, 책임, 존중에서 역할분담을 적용한 그룹이 역할분담을 나누지 않은 통계적으로 유의미하게 높았다. 모둠 활동과 같은 협동학습에서 역할분담을 통해 학생들은 자신의 역할을 명확하게 인지함으로써 수업에 대한 참여도가 높아지게 되고, 학생들 사이의 상호작용이 촉진되며 다른 사람을 배려하고 존중하게 된다. 그러나 협력 항목에서는 이와는 반대로 역할분담을 적용하지 않은 그룹이 통계적으로 유의미하게 높게 나타났다. 이는 개인이 하나의 역할을 유지하지 않고, 모둠내에서 자연스럽게 자신의 역할을 형성하고 상황에 따라 역할을 교대하면서 공동의 문제를 해결하기 위해 노력하면서 협동이 높아진 것으로 보인다. 논의-기반 탐구(ABI) 과학수업에 대한 학생들의 인식 조사를 분석한 결과, 학생들은 자신들의 인성 역량 변화에 도움이 된다는 인식이 많았고, 협력 항목이 가장 크게 증가할 것으로 기대하고 있었다. 이는 학생들이 논의-기반 탐구(ABI) 과학수업이라는 모둠 활동에서 서로의 이해를 공유하고, 지식 및 정보를 의사소통을 통해 공유함으로써 공동의 문제를 해결하는 것을 강조하기 때문에 인성 역량을 키우는데 도움이 될 것이라고 생각하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 과학교과에서 모둠 활동에서 역할분담을 통해 학생들이 수업에 적극적으로 참여하도록 하되, 주어진 역할 수행에만 고정되지 않고 문제 상황에 따라 능동적으로 임할 수 있도록 수업상황을 제시할 필요가 있음을 제안하고자 한다.

셀룰라 무선 네트워크에서 신경망을 이용한 채널할당 (A study on the channel assignment using neural network in cellular radio network)

  • For assigning channel in a cellular sireless network, we purpose satisfying constraints with a related probability between cells and channels on the channel interference matrix formed by m terminals and n channels. And we purpose to get efficient channel assigning to limited channels in a wireless cell using parallelism of neural networks. In this paper, we solve the problem according to the number of requeirements when channel change with 11-533 procession elements. We demonstrate efficiency of proposed algorithm through same simulations in a specific time period.

일부가 가리워진 2차원 물체의 형상 정합 알고리즘 (A Shape Matching Algorithm for Occluded Two-Dimensional Objects)

  • This paper describes a shape matching algorithm for occluded or distorted two-dimensional objects. In our approach, the shape matchin is viewed as a segment matching problem. A shape matching algorithm, based on both the stochastic labeling technique and the hypothesis generate-test paradigm, is proposed, and a simple technique which performs the stochastic labeling process in accordance with the definition of consisten labeling assignment without requiring an iterative updating process of probability valiues is also proposed. Several simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is very effective when occlusion, scaling or change of orientation has occurred in the object.

학습과 망각에 대한 작업자들의 이질성 정도가 시스템 생산성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Worker Heterogeneity in Learning and Forgetting on System Productivity)

  • Incorporation of individual learning and forgetting behaviors within worker-task assignment models produces a mixed integer nonlinear program (MINLP) problem, which is difficult to solve as a NP hard due to its nonlinearity in the objective function. Previous studies commonly assume homogeneity among workers in workforce scheduling that takes account of learning and forgetting characteristics. This paper expands previous researches by considering heterogeneous individual learning/forgetting, and investigates the impact of worker heterogeneity in initial expertise, steady-state productivity, learning and forgetting on system performance to assist manager's decision-making in worker-task assignments without tackling complex MINLP models. In order to understand the performance implications of workforce heterogeneity, this paper examines analytically how heterogeneity in each of the four parameters of the exponential learning and forgetting (L/F) model affects system performance in three cases : consecutive assignments with no break, n breaks of s-length each, and total b break-periods occurred over T periods. The study presents the direction of change in worker performance under different assignment schedules as the variance in initial expertise, steady-state productivity, learning or forgetting increases. Thus, it implies whether having more heterogenous workforce in terms of each of four parameters in the L/F model is desired or not in different schedules from the perspective of system productivity measurement.

중첩셀 구조에서 다양한 트래픽을 위한 가변적 채널할당기법 (Dynamic prioritized channel assignment for multiple traffic classes in a overlay-cell structure)

  • 본 논문에서는 트래픽 양이 변화하는 중첩셀 구조에서 다양한 트래픽을 효율적으로 서비스하기 위한 채널 할당기법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법을 통해, 중첩셀 구조의 장점인 용량은 증가하면서 잦은 핸드오프를 방지할 수 있고, 고정채널할당기법이면서도 동적채널할당기법과 유사한 동작을 하여 각 트래픽의 서비스품질(GOS)허용치를 만족할 수 있다. 제안한 기법과 중첩셀 환경에서 각 트래픽에 일정 수의 보호채널을 가진 고정채널할당기법과 비교.분석한 결과, 제안한 방식의 우수함을 볼 수 있었다.

Lateral Vehicle Control Based on Active Flight Control Technology

  • In this paper, a lateral vehicle control using the concept of control configured vehicle (CCV) is presented. The control objectives for the lateral dynamics of a vehicle include the ability to follow a chosen variable without significant motion change in other specified variables. The analysis techniques for decoupling of the aircraft motions are utilized to develop vehicle lateral control with advanced mode. Vehicle lateral dynamic is determined to have the steering input and control torque input. The additional vehicle modes are also defined to using CCV concept. We use right eigenstructure assignment techniques and command generator tracker to design a control law for an lateral vehicle dynamics. The desired eigenvectors are chosen to achieve the desired decoupling (i.e., lateral direction speed and yaw rate). The command generator tracker is used to ensure steady-state tracking of the driver's command. Finally, the developed design is utilized by using the lateral vehicle dynamic with four wheel.

Use of Alternative Assessments to Rectify Common Students' Misconceptions: A Case Study of "mini-project" in GCE 'A' Level Physics in a Singapore School

  • Students often have tenacious physics misconceptions and many studies were conducted on engendering conceptual change. Correspondingly, there is much literature on alternative assessment and its role in student learning. This is a comparison study on using alternative assessments to improve common students' misconceptions in GCE Advanced Level Physics. This research also aims to affirm alternative assessment as a valid tool for learning and promote its use. This study involved two classes with 24 students each. For four weeks, electromagnetism was taught to students using the same classroom pedagogies but with different assignments. The control group completeda standard drill-and-practice assignment while the experimental group finished an alternative assessment. From the preliminary results, students who undertook the alternative assessment and the traditional assessment both improved, however, the treatment group did not perform statistically significantly better than the control group. The reasons will be discussed and commented and it is expected to have significant improvement on rectifying misconceptionsupon next batch of experimentation groups.

장부상통과 지산도표의 이해 (Correlation Between the Jang and Bu Organs and Jeesan′s Diagram of Pulse)

  • The following conclusions are drawn from a review on the theory of correlation between the jang-bu organs in 'Ojangchunchaklon(五臟穿鑿論)' which is quoted in 'Uihakipmoon(醫學入門)' and 'Donguibogam(東醫寶鑑)'. The three yangs and three yins are trisections each of yang ki and y1n ki. They represent three aspects of change in powers of yin ki and yang ki. The theory of Kaehapchu(開闔樞 the opening, closing and pivot) is thought to be the concept which explains the three states of jang-bu organs and meridians in terms of three yangs and three yins. The three yangs and three yins are assigned to twelve months according to the generation, prosperity and vanishment of the water, the fire, the wood and the metal in the circulation of nature with the lapse of time. Most of all, the change of the water and the fire is the main guide to the assignment. Both the theory of exterior-interior relations in jang-bu organs and meridians and the theory of Kaehapchu are founded on the assignment of three yangs and three yins to twelve months. The correlation between jang-bu organs is based on the monthly assignment of three yangs and three yins described in 'Internal classic(內經)' and the theory of Kaehapchu. In the correlations between jang-bu organs and meridians, the exterior-interior relations are the correspondences of Hand to Hand and Foot to Foot. but the relations of Kaehapchu are those of Hand to Foot and Foot to Hand. Jeesan's diagram of pulse is grounded on the correlations between jang-bu organs. On the left of the diagram, jang organs are arranged in the order of hierarchic positions in body. On the right, bu organs are disposed according to the correlations with the jang organs. Jeesan's diagram includes the principles of triple harmony and diagonal groups in twelve earthly branches(十二支). Jeesan's diagram is the frame through which correlations of jung-ki-shin-hyul, five jang and six bu organs, twelve meridians and six intrinsic factors can be observed at once.

Synergistic extraction of lanthanoids(III) with thenoyltrifluoroacetone and aromatic carboxylic acids and the hydration of the extracted species

  • In order to study how and why the stabilities of lanthanoid(III) complexes in solutions vary across the series, the formation constants of the adducts of tris(2-thenoyltrifluoroacetonato)lanthanoids(III) with seven carboxylic acids in chloroform have been determined by solvent extraction technique at 298K. The formation constants with carboxylic acids generally decrease with increasing the atomic number, but in the middle of the series, they change only slightly. Such trends have been interpreted as related to a change of the coordination number in the middle of the series. It has been attempted to determine the number of water molecules coordinated to the adducts as well as $Eu(TTA)_3$ in chloroform by measuring the fluorescence life time of europium(III), to ensure the assignment of the coordination number.
