The purposes of this study were to: a) develop the quality assessment tool of Web-based Instruction (WBI) for nutrition education, b) evaluate the operated WBI (NutriZone) by this tool, and c) do the feasibility study about quality assessment tool for WBI by establishing the instruction and operating strategies. The developed quality assessment tool of WBI for nutrition education was divided into three categories of instruction design, contents and support & operation. And a total of forty items were measured by Likert 5 point scale, computed as one point per item, and amounted to forty points in all. As a result of evaluation, NutriZone got 21.79 out of 40 points and fulfillment rate of 54.5%. The IPA (Importance-Performance Analysis) was applied to establish the instruction and operating strategies, and nine items characterized as attractiveness, multimedia, and learner-initiative were in 'Doing Great, Keep It Up', and so it was regar-ded as program designed with concern in WBI's characteristics unlike the conventional face-to-face education. But twelve items such as 'Errors on switch to other screens are few.', 'Ready correction leads to be out of systemic error.', 'Highlight marks and moving pictures were used in sign of importance.' and etc. that got high importance and low performance needed to be focused in instructional strategy.
The purposes of this study were to develop Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point-based standardized recipe applicable to cook/chilled soy sauceglazed mackerel and to evaluate the qualities related to the product flow of this item. After conducting experimental cooking, preliminary test, and analysis of recipes, critical control points were identified, control methods were determined, and HACCP-based recipe was standardized. At each critical control point, time-temperature profile was recorded and microbiological analysis (total aerobic plate counts, psychrotrophic plate count, coliform, and fecal coliform count), chemical analysis (pH, acid value and volatile based nitrogen (VBN)) and sensory evaluation of the item were done. Time-temperature data showed that the time the menu item had passed through temperature danger zone (5∼60$^{\circ}C$) during all phases was 60 min. At rapid cooling, but after cooling at room temperature, the temperature of this menu item did not drop below the ambient temperature. The results of microbiological test were negative throughout all phases following cooking and the results of chemical analysis did not change significantly in terms of storage periods except for VBN which increased on 7th day significantly(p<0.05). After steam/convection oven reheating and microwave oven reheating, the sensory score of the only appearance decreased significantly related to the storage time of overall quality profiles. But significant differences were not detected according to two reheating methods. In conclusion, this HACCP-based recipe was considered as an effective tool for assuring microbial as well as sensory quality of this cook/chilled item.
This study examined Korean fourth-grade students' performance by gender on the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study(TIMSS) 2011 and 2015 mathematics assessment. We first identified items which had significantly higher mean scores by gender to decide which gender did better on a certain domain(domain-level analysis). Then, we examined the content of items(item-level analysis) to understand which items lead to gender differences in mathematics achievement. Our findings showed that about 80% of the items on both assessments did not show statistically significant differences between males and females. However, there were meaningful gender differences in the other 20% items. On both assessments, females had more items with significantly higher mean scores than males on the Shapes domain, and males had more those items on the Numbers and Measurement domains and all cognitive domains(Knowing, Applying, and Reasoning). In particular, females outperformed males on items related to identifying two- and three-dimensional shapes and drawing lines and angles and identifying them. Conversely, males had higher performance than females on items related to the pre-algebraic thinking, fractions and decimals, estimation of number differences, unit of length, and measuring time, height, and volume. The effect sizes for each item ranged from .12 to .33 and the mean effect size of all items across both assessments was .20, which indicated significant gender differences but small.
This paper aims to explore what we can improve in the curriculum, teaching-learning, and evaluation on the bases of the analyses of multiple-choice items set in National Assessment of Educational Achievement. For this goal, by using the distribution curves of the responses percentages, we will grasp the features of educational achievement which appear to students through an in-depth analysis about not only item itself but also the contents included in particular distracters. These analyses provide more information than the descriptive statistical values such as the mean of correct answer percentage and the discrimination of whole group and the mean of responses percentages of replies of subgroups. Because the distribution curves of the responses percentages reveal the transition from the lowest to the highest educational achievement very well. From these analyses we acquire the implications about the concept of prime factor or prime factorization, ratio(proportion) such as velocity, linear function, volume of cone, properties of solid figure, and probabilities of empty event and total event.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to assess the Turkish adaptation of the COVID Stress Scale (CSS) on the basis of determining the stress caused by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, and to test its validity and reliability. Methods: The English CSS was translated into Turkish using forward and backward translation. Data were collected online from 360 participants. Construct validity was evaluated using confirmatory factor analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and content validity. Pearson product-moment correlation, Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient, and test-retest methods were used to evaluate reliability. Results: The Turkish version of the CSS has 36 items consistent with the original scale and has five factors: COVID danger and contamination, socioeconomic consequences of COVID, COVID xenophobia, traumatic stress due to COVID, and compulsive checking for COVID. The construct validity of the Turkish version of the CSS was verified by the adjusted goodness of fit index > .85, and comparative fit index > .95. The content validity index of each item was 91%. The corrected item-total correlations of the scale ranged from .51 to .89. Internal consistency was reliable, with a Cronbach's α of .93. Conclusion: The Turkish version of the CSS is valid and reliable. It can be used as a measurement tool for the assessment of COVID-related stress.

Online reviews we encounter commonly on SNS, although a complex range of assessment information affecting the consumer's preferences are included, it is general that such information is just provided by simple numbers or star ratings. Based on those review types, it is not easy to get specific information that consumers want and use it to make a decision for purchase. Therefore, in this study, we propose a prediction methodology that can provide ratings broken down by evaluation items by performing sentiment analysis on restaurant reviews written in Korean. To this end, we select 'food', 'price', 'service', and 'atmosphere' as the main evaluation items of restaurants, and build a new sentiment dictionary for each evaluation item. It also classifies review sentences by rating item, predicts granular ratings through sentiment analysis, and provides additional information that consumers can use to make decisions. Finally, using MAE and RMSE as evaluation indicators it shows that the rating prediction accuracy of the proposed methodology has been improved than previous studies and presents the use case of proposed methodology.

This study investigated the literature about science process skills' evaluation to analyse transition of evaluation objectives before and after a Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance. In the literature survey the researcher established a 3 dimensional science assessment framework with X axis as science concept, Y axis as science process skills and Z axis as problem context. In order to analysis and compare each items the researcher selected 210 items from the 1st to the 7th trials and 138 items from the 1st to 4th Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance and sampled 2873 science achievement test items from 10 high schools. In accordance with this taxonomy the researcher analysed and compared science process skills item forms. The following results were drawn : The items were evenly distributed in all the four areas(Earth Science, Biology, Physics and Chemistry) of the science concept domain, but they were heavily concentrated on data analysis and drawing a conclusion in science process domain. In the domain of problem context school context was the majority. In spite of distribution like this the ratio on science process skills measurement items and science achievement test items was increased after the Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance was given. Also the ratio on item expression type was increased. Item form was almost 5 options selection type in the national level test. Although there were 4 options selection type, 5 options selection type, short answer type, essay type in school level test, rising from 33.1% to 65.5% on 5 options selection type is exhibited. This study showed that the school level item form was better various than the nation level. This point like this is the evidence for the improvement toward the science process skills test and influenced by Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance. The ratio on the item which joined with the 3 axes had a mean of 99.3% in nation level test and mean 44.9% in school achievement test level. But the ratio in the school achievement test level increased after the Scholastic Ability Test for College Entrance was given. In view of this study we must furthermore study the item types which can evaluate valjdately science process skill's five stage each and evaluation method by the high school students' problem solving patterns and features in scientific inquiry on all science process skills elements.
The purpose of the study was to examine the internet purchase behavior of items and self-assessment according to self-concept of elementary school students. The data were collected from 716 elementary school students by a self-administered questionnaire. Frequencies and means, Cronbach's Alpha, factor analysis, t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, cross-tabulation analysis, cluster Analysis were conducted by SPSSWIN 12.0. The results from this study were as follows; First, from self-concept measurements, 4 factors(affective, social, schooling, Family self-concept) were extracted through factor analysis. Second, the subjects were classified into 3 clusters as self-concept types(high self-concept, middle self-concept, low self-concept) through cluster analysis. Third, the significant variables affecting internet purchase behaviors of items included grade, allowance, rank in class, the number of hours on the internet. As the self-concept gets higher, the frequence of the impulsive purchase and imitation purchases gets lower. In the contrary, as the self-concept gets higher, the self-assessment on the impulse purchases and imitation purchases also gets higher. In combination, these results suggest that irrational purchase behaviors were protected by positive self-concept, therefore it is important that children have positive a self-concept.
This paper describes the performance assessment test and analysis of test results on a Korean speech recognizer which recognizes Lombard effect received speech in noisy environment, as a basic performance assessment research. In the assessement test, standard speech data were first manipulated close to speech uttered in a noisy environment, and then performance assessment tests were carried out along with the assessment items (the type of noise, SNR) in two ways-one with Lombard effect received speech(LES), the other with not received(NLES). As a result, when 90% of recognition rate is set to be a recognition limit, it was achieved at 10dB SNR point with LES, while at 30dB with NLES. This 20dB of SNR difference indicates Lombard effect should be considered in real world assessment test. The type of noises didn't affect performance of recognizers in out tests. ANOVA analysis, in evaluating several kinds of recognizers, showed every assessment item affecting the recognition performance could be quantified.

Objective : The purpose of this study was to develop an assessment tool to measure Korean occupational balance. Methods : From March 2017 to July 2019, preliminary questionnaire was prepared through analysis of previous research and expert focus meeting, and preliminary questions were selected through the Delphi survey. In order to verify the validity of the items, Rash analysis was conducted to analyze the persons and items fitness, the distribution of item difficulty, separation reliability, and the appropriateness of the rating scale. Results : Among 141 subjects, 9 (6.38%) in time use and 11 (7.80%) in the occupation area were inappropriate subjects. As a result of analyzing the appropriateness of the items except for the inappropriate subjects, the 3 items were judged as ineligible items, but 1 item of the occupation characteristics was finally deleted based on the theoretical and clinical grounds. In the analysis of the scale, 4 points were more appropriate than the 5 point scale, and the separation reliability was .86~.94. Finally, 3 categories (time use, occupation area, occupation characteristics) and 18 items were selected. Conclusion : The occupational balance assessment tool was selected three categories and 18 questions finally, three categories and 18 questions, and was developed on a four-point Likert scale. Further research needs to prove the concurrent validity of the K-OBA and to analyze the factors that influence the occupational balance.
