The paradigm of agriculture is also changing to address the problem of food shortages due to the increase of the world population, climate conditions that are increasingly subtropical, and labor shortages in rural areas due to aging population. With the development of Information Communication Technology (ICT), our daily lives are changing rapidly and heralds a major change in agricultural management. In a hyper-connected society, the introduction of high-tech into traditional Agriculture of the past is absolutely necessary. In the development process of Agriculture, the first generation produced by hand, the second generation applied mechanization, and the third generation introduced automation. The fourth generation is the current ICT operation and the fifth generation is artificial intelligence. This paper investigated Smart Farm that increases productivity through convergence of Agriculture and ICT, such as smart greenhouse, smart orchard and smart Livestock. With the development of sustainable food production methods in full swing to meet growing food demand, Smart Farming is emerging as the solution. In overseas cases, the Netherlands Smart Farm, the world's second-largest exporter of agricultural products, was surveyed. Agricultural automation using Smart Farms allows producers to harvest agricultural products in an accurate and predictable manner. It is time for the development of technology in Agriculture, which benchmarked cases of excellence abroad. Because ICT requires an understanding of Internet of Things (IoT), big data and artificial intelligence as predicting the future, we want to address the status of theory and actual Agriculture and propose future development measures. We hope that the study of the paper will solve the growing food problem of the world population and help the high productivity of Agriculture and smart strategies of sustainable Agriculture.
High-resolution satellite images are used in the fields of mapping, natural disaster forecasting, agriculture, ocean-based industries, infrastructure, and environment, and there is a progressive increase in the development and demand for the applications of high-resolution satellite images. Users of the satellite images desire accurate quality of the provided satellite images. Moreover, the distinguishability of each image captured by an actual satellite varies according to the atmospheric environment and solar angle at the captured region, the satellite velocity and capture angle, and the system noise. Hence , NIIRS must be measured for all captured images. There is a significant deficiency in professional human resources and time resources available to measure the NIIRS of few hundred images that are transmitted daily. Currently, NIIRS is measured every few months or even few years to assess the aging of the satellite as well as to verify and calibrate it [3]. Therefore, we develop an algorithm that can measure the national image interpretability rating scales (NIIRS) of a typical satellite image rather than an artificial target satellite image, in order to automatically assess its quality. In this study, the criteria for automatic edge region extraction are derived based on the previous works on manual edge region extraction [4][5], and consequently, we propose an algorithm that can extract the edge region. Moreover, RER and H are calculated from the extracted edge region for automatic edge region extraction. The average NIIRS value was measured to be 3.6342±0.15321 (2 standard deviations) from the automatic measurement experiment on a typical satellite image, which is similar to the result extracted from the artificial target.
The aging water pipes induce various problems, such as water supply suspension due to breakage, insufficient water pressure, deterioration of water quality, damage by sink holes, and economic losses due to water leaks. However, it is impractical and almost impossible to repair and/or replace all deteriorated water pipes simultaneously. Hence, it is required to quantitatively evaluate the deterioration rate of individual pipes indirect way to determine the rehabilitation order of priority. In this study, ANN(Artificial Neural Network)-Clustering method is suggested as a new approach to assess and assort the water pipes. The proposed method has been applied to a water supply network of YG-county in Jeollanam-do. To assess the applicability of the model, the evaluation results were compared with the results of the Numerical Weighting Method (NWM), which is being currently utilized in practice. The assessment results are depicted in a water pipe map to intuitively grasp the degree of deterioration of the entire pipelines. The application results revealed that the proposed ANN-Clustering models can successfully assess the water pipe deterioration along with the conventional approach of NWM.

The discoloration of traditional paintings could be induced by various chemical reactions of inorganic pigments due to temperature, humidity, light and air pollution. In this study, we made artificial samples including azurite and malachite as inorganic pigments using the traditional method on hanji called 'Korean paper'and investigated the artificial aging process occurred by the interaction between pigments and environmental factors. It was found that the azurite was influenced by the humidity of weathering tests and the salt fog of salt spray tests according to XRD and TGA results. However, it was shown that the malachite was chemically changed by the ultraviolet radiation of weathering tests and UV radiation tests according to color difference and TGA results.
We are facing an era of automation where artificial intelligence works and an era of super-aging, where birth is rapidly declining. In this paper, we intend to perform the creation of an autobiography in conjunction with the generation integrated narrative storytelling, thereby exploring the potential for visual storytelling that can be extended to a variety of media format. The visual autobiography production program confirmed through an interview with the production participants that grandparents, grandchildren and granddaughter together became the main characters in the documentary, a valuable opportunity to reflect on their past memories and lives and recognize their meaning of life. The visual storytelling education program model and media life service presented in this paper will be shared by the youth and the elderly generation together and contribute to the 'sympathetic culture' as a social integration program.

Super austenitic stainless steels shows the high PRE (Pitting Resistance Equivalent) number and the good corrosion resistance. This work controlled the Co contents in Fe-31Cr-1.7Mo-27Ni-0.25N alloys to elucidate the effect of cobalt contents on the biocompatibility and corrosion resistance. Increasing Co contents, the hardness of the annealed alloys tends to be reduced. In aged alloys, cobalt decreased the increments of hardness by aging treatment. Cobalt decreased the critical pitting temperature (CPT) in 6% $FeCl_3$ + 1% HCl solution, but improved the anodic polarization behavior in Hanks' balanced salt solution and artificial saliva solution. Repassivation rate in artificial body solutions was improved by increasing cobalt contents, but didn't show the linear relationship to PRE number of the alloys. The experimental alloys showed the non-cytotoxicity because of its high corrosion resistance.
The hot corrosion properties of heat-resistant steels were investigated in an oxidation atmosphere including artificial ash and sulfur dioxide. The heat-resistant steels of T22, T92, T122, T347HFG, Super304H and HR3C were evaluated at 620, 670 and $720^{\circ}C$ for 400 hours. The relationship between the corrosion rate and the temperature followed a bell-shaped curve with a peak rate at around $670^{\circ}C$. The corrosion rates showed a decreasing tendency as the chrome contents of these steels increased from 2.15 wt.% to 24.5 wt.%, and austenitic steels had a lower corrosion rate than ferritic steels. Sulfidation by $SO_2$ as well as molten salt corrosion also had an effect on the total corrosion rate, especially showing an increase in the corrosion rate in ferritic steels. Regardless of the chrome content in the steels and irrespective of the test temperature, the corrosion scale was composed of an outer oxide and an artificial ash mixed layer, a middle oxide layer and inner sulfide, and a mixed oxide layer. As the chrome content increased, the proportion of chrome oxide in the corrosion scale increased. Before spalling of the corrosion scale, voids and cracks were initiated in the sulfide and the mixed oxide layer or at the interface with the substrate.

In the elderly population, sarcopenia occurs due to physical aging, leading to movement restrictions and loss of function. This results in dependence on daily activities and limitations in participation, ultimately decreasing the overall quality of life. In this study, we propose an algorithm designed to enable patients with sarcopenia to perform sit-to-stand and stand-to-sit movements seamlessly in their daily lives. The algorithm incorporates a wearable robot for muscle support and includes algorithms for standing and seated muscle strength support. To validate the algorithm's performance, EMG sensors were attached to the Rectus Femoris and Biceps Femoris muscles. The participants underwent two scenarios: one without wearing the device and one with the device providing muscle strength support, performing sit-to-stand and stand-to-sit motions for one minute in each case. The results showed a 16% increase in the EMG peak value of the Rectus Femoris muscle during standing motion (p=0.009). On the right side, there was a roughly 20% decrease (p=0.018) during standing and a 21% decrease (p=0.014) during sitting motion. In the future, we aim to gather additional data to further refine the algorithm. Our goal is to develop an optimal muscle strength support algorithm based on this data, making it applicable for real-life use by patients with sarcopenia.
The present study was undertaken to evaluate the chemical characteristics of Asian dust (hereafter called "AD") particles with the aid of the most advanced micro-PIXE (Particle-induced X-ray emission) analytical technique. To this end, size-selected particles were sampled on a rural peninsula of Korea (Byunsan, 35.37N; 126.27E) during AD and non-AD periods in 2004. The coarse particle (> $2{\mu}m$) number density during an AD event were 170 times higher than those of the non-AD counterpart. The average net-count of silica in individual particles collected on AD event was roughly 11 times higher than that of non-AD counterpart. The X-ray net-counts of trace elements (Zn, Co, Mn, and V) were also considerably high in AD relative to the non-AD day. Particle classification based on the inter ratio analysis of elemental net-count suggests that a large portion of the coarse particles collected during AD event underwent chemical transformation to a certain degree. The visual interpretation of micro-PIXE elemental maps and elemental localization data in and/or on individual AD particles clarified the internal mixture of AD particles with sea-salt and artificial metallic particles.

Unlike oil immersed transformers, cast-resin transformers have the solid insulator 'epoxy resin' in sealed structure. Therefore, they reveal a lot of limitations in checking aging conditions and predicting an accident. This study analyzed the characteristics of Cast-resin transformers by the measurement distance and measurement sensitivity with a corona defect sample, using antenna sensor. Therefore, the experiment has proven that the antenna sensor-based measurement method proposed in this study is able to detect the insulation defect location of the cast-resin transformer, unlike conventional measurement methods. It is expected that the result of this study will be used to develop a new type of measuring method in order to measure insulation defects and to use in safety inspection of domestic cast-resin transformers.
