Examining Portraits in Digital Fashion Art Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) through Baudrillard's Simulation

  • Web 3.0 enables people and machines to connect, evolve, share, and use knowledge on an unprecedented scale and in new ways, drastically improving our Internet experience. The metaverse is a collective, virtual shared space supporting all digital activities. Prompted by the rapid growth of digital art and digital fashion, this theoretical analysis explores using Jean Baudrillard's simulation concept to create unique digital art non-fungible tokens (NFTs), allowing them to express and communicate ideas like real-world art. Specifically, this study analyzes 120 digital fashion portraits of humans and animals and classifies them under three types of simulacra covering four stages of Baudrillard's simulation process. The result shows that NFT fashion artworks reflect the core features of a digital reality by connecting and transcending the boundaries of cultures, genders, and nationalities. However, in the final simulation stage (the fourth step), the simulacrum can only coexist in the virtual world as a hyperreal object (the Type III of simulacrum): an object more real than reality.

미술작품을 통한 미술교육: 수학 원리를 중심으로 (Art Education through Artwork: Focusing on the Mathematical Principle)

  • 미술작품이나 건축물에 수학 원리가 내재해 있다. 중등학교 학생들이 미술작품에서 이러한 원리를 찾는 일은 중요하다. 하지만, 미술작품이나 건축물에 내재한 수학 원리를 찾는 것 자체만의 학생 활동은 미술교육 본연의 목적을 달성하기 어렵다는 것이다. 그러므로 미술 교육의 목적을 달성하기 위해서는, 미적 체험과 작품 감상을 통하여 학생들 스스로 미술작품에서 수학 원리를 찾고, 이 원리를 응용한 새로운 작품을 구성하고, 감상하고, 표현하는 활동이 필요하다는 것이다. 이러한 관점에서, 본 논문에서는 수학 원리가 내재한 몇 몇 미술작품이나 건축물을 조사하였다. 그리고 학생 스스로 미술작품에서 수학 원리를 찾고, 이 원리를 이용하여 새로운 작품 구성 활동 능력을 기대할 수 있는 프로그램 모델을 구성하였다. 또한, 수학 원리가 내재한 Escher의 작품을 예로 들어 프로그램에서의 교사활동과 학생활동을 가상적으로 구성하였다.

  • The lastest art is being characterised by an ever active exchange between different genre. Installation Art is an artistic attempt to integrate visually and dynamic consciousness and movement of human beings and the actual living space based on the new spatial concept of integrative Environment Approach. Through the visual and structural reflection of personal experience and movement new interpretation of space in which various activities and events take place in relation to time is realized. The methods of Installation that relate on the contemporary interior design are as follow : expression of object through deconstruction, space of every experience, enlargement of concept of space, space of interactive.

유치원에서의 특별활동 실시 현황 및 교사의 인식 (Extracurricular Activities in Kindergarten : A survey with Analysis of Teacher's Perceptions)

  • In response to a growing trend toward downward escalation of public school curriculum, the present study surveyed so-called extracurricular activities in kindergartens and analyzed teacher's perception of these activities. Questionnaires were mailed to 1300 private kindergartens and 1116 responses were received. Major findings were that over 89% of the respondents reported doing extracurricular activities in their kindergartens, mostly using 3-4 different kinds of special activities. The 3 most highly ranked lessons in order of frequency were English, art and physical activity. Whole group time was most often used for extracurricular activities. Kindergarten teachers were concerned with the qualifications of teachers for these activities. Teachers of these extra activities usually have no specialized training or supervised experience working with 3-through 5-year-old children.

스스로 '움직이는' 미술가들 자립적 미술 신생공간 주체들의 생활 경험과 예술 실천 연구 (Self-Motivated Artists A Study on the Daily Experience and Art Practice of Agents in New Independent Art Spaces)

  • 본 연구는 최근 우리 미술생산장 내 유사한 성격의 자립적 신생공간들이 급증한 것에 주목하여, 해당 공간 주체들의 생활 경험과 예술 실천에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 연구를 위해 자립적 신생공간의 운영 및 참여 주체인 신진작가 15인을 심층 인터뷰하고 그들의 활동과 그 의미를 분석하였다. 특정한 장의 현상을 이해하기 위해서는 행위자의 하비투스와 장의 구조를 함께 살펴보아야 한다는 부르디외의 '문화생산장' 논의가 연구의 중요한 이론적 배경이 되었다. 연구 결과 비슷한 세대적 경험을 공유하는 이들의 삶의 태도에 공통점이 있으며 그것이 예술 실천으로도 연결됨을 알 수 있었다. 이들 신생공간의 주체들 대부분은 큰 성공을 기대하지 않고 동료의 인정과 연대로써 현재를 즐기며, 외부의 선택과 원조를 기다리기보다 삶과 예술을 병행하며 홀로 서는 편을 택한다. 한편 이러한 이들의 자기 충족적 하비투스는 조건 특정적이고 유동적인 예술 실천의 면모로 이어져 오늘날 열악한 미술생산장의 구조와 공모함으로써 장 내 진입과 '위치취하기'에 있어 유리하게 작용하리라는 가능성을 타진하였다. 이러한 자립적 신생공간 주체들의 특징이 비단 현재 미술생산장뿐 아니라 우리 사회 문화생산장 전반의 경향과 무관하지 않다는 점에서 연구의 사회적 의미를 찾을 수 있으리라 기대한다.

  • After liberation from Japanese colonial rule in 1945, there was the three-year period of United States Army Military Government in Korea. In 1948, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and Republic of Korea were established in the north and south of the Korean Peninsula. The Republic of Korea is now a modern state set in the southern part of the Korean. We usually refer to Koreans as people who belong to the Republic of Korea. Can we say that is true exactly? Why make of this an obsolete question? The period from 1945 when Korea was emancipated from Japanese colonial rule to 1948 when the Republic of Korea was established has not been a focus of modern Korean history. This three years remains empty in Korean history and makes the concept of 'Korean' we usually consider ambiguous, and prompts careful attention to the silence of 'some Koreans' forced to live against their will in the blurred boundaries between nation and people. This dissertation regards 'Koreans' who came to live in the border of nations, especially 'Korean-Japanese third generation women artists'who are marginalized both Japan and Korea. It questions the category of 'Korean women's art' that has so far been considered, based on the concept of territory, and presents a new perspective for viewing 'Korean women's art'. Almost no study on Korean-Japanese women's art has been conducted, based on research on Korean diaspora, and no systematic historical records exist. Even data-collection is limited due to the political situation of South and North in confrontation. Representation of the Mother Country on the Artworks by First and Second-Generation Korean-Japanese(Zainich) Women Artists after Liberation since 1945 was published in 2011 is the only dissertation in which Korean-Japanese women artists, and early artistic activities. That research is based on press releases and interviews obtained through Japan. This thesis concentrates on the world of Korean-Japanese third generation women artists such as Kim Jung-sook, Kim Ae-soon, and Han Sung-nam, permanent residents in Japan who still have Korean nationality. The three Korean-Japanese third generation women artists whose art world is reviewed in this thesis would like to reveal their voices as minorities in Japan and Korea, resisting power and the universal concepts of nation, people and identity. Questioning the general notions of 'Korean women' and 'Korean women's art'considered within the Korean Peninsula, they explore their identity as Korean women outside the Korean territory from a post-territorial perspective and have a new understanding of the minority's diversity and difference through their eyes as marginal women living outside the mainstream of Korean and Japanese society. This is associated with recent post-colonial critical viewpoints reconsidering myths of universalism and transcendental aesthetic measures. In the 1980s and 1990s art museums and galleries in New York tried a critical shift in aesthetic discourse on contemporary art history, analyzed how power relationships among such elements as gender, sexuality, race, nationalism. Ghost of Ethnicity: Rethinking Art Discourses of the 1940s and 1980s by Lisa Bloom is an obvious presentation about the post-colonial discourse. Lisa Bloom rethinks the diversity of race, ethnicity, sexuality, and gender each artist and critic has, she began a new discussion on artists who were anti-establishment artists alienated by mainstream society. As migration rapidly increased through globalism lead by the United States the aspects of diaspora experience emerges as critical issues in interpreting contemporary culture. As a new concept of art with hybrid cultural backgrounds exists, each artist's cultural identity and specificity should be viewed and interpreted in a sociopolitical context. A criticism started considering the distinct characteristics of each individual's historical experience and cultural identity, and paying attention to experience of the third world artist, especially women artists, confronting the power of modernist discourses from a perspective of the white male subject. Considering recent international contemporary art, the Korean-Japanese third generation women artists who clarify their cultural identity as minority living in the border between Korea and Japan may present a new direction for contemporary Korean art. Their art world derives from their diaspora experience on colonial trauma historically. Their works made us to see that it is also associated with postcolonial critical perspective in the recent contemporary art stream. And it reminds us of rethinking the diversity of the minority living outside mainstream society. Thus, this should be considered as one of the features in the context of Korean women's art.

  • The various kinds of consumption belong to a general category and at the same time the expression of most basic aspiration in the human life. Since the ancient times, the consuming activities have lasted with the other basic activities and the consuming space conducting consumption has developed as physical devices along with the human history. Those companies that have been given attention and getting favorable impression currently being selected by the consumers are now concentrated on the storytelling marketing. The storytelling marketing is that the emotion-oriented marketing activities give consumers the opportunities to enjoy the product contained stories to put the stories to marketing activities. It approaches to consumer with human story emotionally rather than rationally and heart rather than mind. Recently, the architecture has become artistic either it was linked and contacted media or part of marketing. We think that the story telling marketing is the eternal triangle among art, architecture and marketing that is a propensity or movement to interior at this time. I found out that the storytelling marketing methodology is able to touch the consumer's heart and stimulate consumption aspiration that makes new circumstances and experience expressing space. And for that, effective marketing methodology is to give the consumers a more exciting and enjoyable motivation in accord with the modern society to give companies positive image to customers and accordingly for the companies to gain profits. The story telling space that is filled with ideas which produce new circumstance and experience using the established narrative and theme will be required continuously and able to develop in the future.

자연을 통한 자연친화적 활동 프로그램이 유아의 태도에 미치는 효과 (The effects of environment-friendly activities through nature to attitude of children)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how environment-friendly activities through nature affects attitude of children. 5-6 years old children were targeted for study from March to December, 2014. Rapid changes of modern society made increase of female workers and their participation rates in economic activity which results children to play more time with artificial toys and media. There are 3 stages to investigate effects. $1^{st}$ stage is to know about woods by visiting woods and experience environment-friendly activity. $2^{nd}$ stage is to experience woods with 5 senses not only in real woods but also in classroom. Lastly $3^{rd}$ stage is to make art work with natural object and make woods in classroom. Changes of hildren's attitude and view toward to the nature were recorded and analyzed by anecdotes perpetual inventory and environment-friendly attitude examination. By analysis of infant gives you the opportunity to encounter nature, often in conjunction with ongoing enjoys nature-friendly program in the classroom to play with toys, rather than a complete natural objects gradually formalized when presenting a natural, concentrated than the previous game this time is enhanced and creativity through nature through the promotion doeeojim and attitude to nature is also eco-friendly activities byeonhwadoem program showed that the impact on the attitude of the infant.

  • 본 연구는 창작활동을 위한 인공지능 플랫폼의 종류를 조사하고 활용방안을 탐색하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 창작활동의 대표적인 영역인 미술과 음악 창작 영역에서 인공지능을 배우기 위해 인공지능을 체험하고 간단한 프로그래밍을 할 수 있는 인공지능 플랫폼의 종류를 조사하였다. 그리고 각 인공지능 플랫폼이 학생들의 생각을 풍부하게 표현하고 창의력을 높이는데 사용되도록 활용방안을 제시하였다. 이를 통해 인공지능 플랫폼이 창작활동에서 학생들의 표현력과 창의력을 높이는 도구로써 활용될 수 있음을 시사하였다는데 의의가 있다.

발달장애 청소년의 문화예술교육 경험에 관한 질적 연구 -공예교육활동을 중심으로- (A Qualitative Study on the Culture and Art Education Experiences of Adolescents with Developmental Disabilities - With a focus on craft education activities -)

  • 연구의 목적은 문화예술교육 프로그램이 장애 청소년에게 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 있다. 문화예술교육 프로그램 중 공예교육활동으로 구성하였으며 다학문간 융합교육을 지향하였다. 본 연구의 실행을 위해 고등학교 특수학급에 재학 중인 발달장애 청소년 7명을 대상으로 교육회기 이후 한 달간 심층인터뷰를 실시하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같이 도출되었다. 첫째 일반학급에서는 경험하기 힘들었던 학문의 즐거움과 유쾌함, 흥미를 보였다. 둘째, 수업참여의 긴장감이 완화되며 교육활동을 통해 편안함을 느끼며, 공예교육에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 보였다. 셋째, 사회 정서적 영역에서는 협동 활동을 통한 함께 있음, 공존의 느낌을 받았으며, 친구와 교사로부터 지지와 도움의 경험을 하게 되었다. 넷째, 교육활동을 통해 자신의 생각을 나누고, 친구들의 이야기를 경청하고 함께 만들어낸 작품에 대해 이야기 하며 친밀한 관계의 경험을 나눌 수 있었다.
