수중음향렌즈 카메라에서 영상 품질 향상을 위한 SIR 분석 (SIR analysis for Enhancing Image Quality in Underwater Acoustic Lens System)

  • 수중음향렌즈 시스템은 해저를 탐사하여 고해상도의 영상을 얻어내는 시스템의 하나로 음향렌즈를 이용하여 빔을 형성한다. 음향렌즈를 이용하여 빔을 형성함으로써 복잡도를 낮추고 구동전력을 절감시킨다. 음향렌즈로부터 들어오는 빔을 배열센서로 수신하려면 음향렌즈의 빔패턴을 분석하여 센서간격을 설정하는 문제를 해결해야 한다. 여기서 SIR (Signal to Interference Ratio)을 사용하여 센서간격과 빔패턴과 영상 품질과의 관계를 분석한다. 빔패턴의 모양에 따라 SIR은 변하므로 대체로 센서간격이 넓으면 사이드로브의 영향이 감소하므로 SIR이 개선된다. 사이드로브의 크기가 크면 전반적으로 SIR이 악화된다. Apodization 함수에 따라 빔패턴의 메인로브의 폭과 모양과 사이드로브의 모양과 준위가 바뀐다. 따라서 적절한 apodization 함수를 적용하여 SIR을 개선한다. 본 논문에서 예시된 빔패턴의 경우 센서간격이 13mm에서 SIR이 0-10dB로 안정이 되지만, 그 값이 높지 않다. 따라서 Chebyshev 함수를 적용하여 37mm 이상의 구간에서 80dB의 SIR을 얻는다. 센서간격이 더 작은 경우는 Hann 함수나 triangular 함수가 좋은 성능을 나타냈다.

한식 프랜차이즈 가맹점의 서비스 품질 동일성 유지가 고객 만족 및 행동 의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of the Uniformity of Franchisee Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction and Behavioral Intention in Korean Franchise Restaurants)

  • 국내 프랜차이즈 레스토랑들은 자체 내의 서비스 품질 메뉴얼을 갖추고 그에 따른 동일화된 서비스를 제공하여 서비스의 질적 수준을 향상시키고자 노력하고 있지만 여전히 본점과 가맹점 간의 차이를 보이고 있다. 본 연구는 가맹점의 서비스 동일성에 대한 노력이 고객 만족과 행동 의도에 미치는 영향을 알아봄으로써, 외식업체의 고객 만족 경영에 도움이 되고자 한다. 연구의 목적에 맞게 모형과 가설을 설정한 뒤 설문조사는 2008년 4월 1일부터 30일까지 30일간 하였고, 총 279부(회수율 93.0%)를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서비스 품질 동일성 유지가 고객 만족에 미치는 영향은 독립변수 중 종업원 서비스 동일성, 브랜드 동일성, 공간 배치 및 기능성 동일성이 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 이 중 종업원 서비스 동일성이 가장 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 서비스 품질의 동일성 유지가 행동 의도에 미치는 영향은 서비스 품질의 동일성이 잘 이루어질수록 고객의 재방문의도와 추천 의도가 높아짐을 알 수 있었고, 이중 메뉴 동일성 유지가 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 고객 만족이 행동 의도에 미치는 영향은 고객 만족이 높을수록 행동 의도가 높아짐을 알 수 있었다.

고등학교에서 시각적 사고에 기반한 인포그래픽 활용 물리 수업의 효과 (The Effect of Physics Instruction Using Infographics Based on Visual Thinking in High School)

  • 본 연구는 특성화 고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 물리 교과서에 제시된 인포그래픽 자료들을 활용하여 시각적 사고에 기반한 인포그래픽 활용 수업을 실시하고, 그 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 각 60명의 학생들을 실험집단과 통제집단으로 나누고, 실험집단에 '인포그래픽 개념형성, 인포그래픽 이해활동, 인포그래픽 구성활동'으로 구성된 25차시의 수업을 실시하였고, 통제집단에는 일반적인 강의식 수업을 진행하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들이 구성한 인포그래픽의 특징은 '단순 배치'에서 '단순 재구성', '일러스트형'에서 '비교분석형'으로 표현 방식이 변화되었는데, 이는 구성 횟수 증가에 따른 학생들의 시각적 사고의 활성화에 의한 것이다. 둘째, 인포그래픽 활용 수업으로 인해 시각적 사고는 이해도, 가시도, 유용성, 소통성 영역에서 유의미하게 향상되었다. 셋째, 인포그래픽 활용 수업 후 실험집단의 성취도 평균 점수가 유의미하게 향상되었다. 넷째, 과학적 태도 검사에서는 '과학자의 평범성, 과학적 탐구의 태도, 과학적 태도의 수용' 영역에서 유의미한 향상이 있었다. 이상과 같은 연구 결과로부터, 인포그래픽 활용 수업은 학생들의 시각적 사고력 향상을 통해 과학 개념 이해, 의사소통력이 높아져 학업성취도와 과학적 태도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

지구과학 논문과 지구과학 교과서 텍스트의 과학 언어적 특성 비교 (Comparison of the Features of Science Language between Texts of Earth Science Articles and Earth Science Textbooks)

  • 과학 교과서와 과학 연구 논문의 과학 언어적 특성을 조사하기 위하여 지구과학 교과서 2 종과 지구과학 논문 2 편을 선정하여 각 텍스트의 과학 용어 분류, 설명 텍스트의 구조 분석과 접속 관계를 통한 추론 분석, 접속어의 기능에 대한 분석 방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 지구과학 교과서에서 드러난 학교 과학의 언어는 명명어의 비중이 높으며, 정의/예시 구조와 기술 구조 중심의 설명 텍스트 구조를 보였다. 또한, 논리적 추론보다는 부가적인 나열 관계를 나타내는 내적 관계가 우세하였다. 이에 반해 지구과학 논문에서 볼 수 있는 과학자의 과학 언어는 명명어의 비중이 큰 가운데서도 과정어와 개념어의 비중이 과학 교과서의 과학 언어에 비해 높았으며, '도입 - 연관 계열 - 결론'에 이르는 설명 텍스트의 도식적 구조를 갖추고 있었다. 또한, 연관 계열을 이루는 각 문장의 텍스트 구조는 원인/결과 구조 또는 기술 구조에 뒤이은 문제/해결 구조를 보였으며, 각 문장틀 간에 부사형 어미나 동사를 이용한 내적 관계를 통해 인과적 추론 또는 귀추적 추론 관계를 표현하고 있었다. 학생들의 진정한 과학 언어 사용을 위해서는 두 언어 사이의 간극을 줄이는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위해 학교 과학의 언어와 과학자의 언어를 매개하는 지구과학 교사의 교수 언어로서 중간 언어를 제안하였다.

Saccharomyces cerevisiae M1 (KACC 93023)으로 발효한 갈색 거저리 유충이 비 알코올성 지방간 유발 흰 쥐에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Tenebrio molitor Larvae Fermented with Saccharomyces cerevisiae M1 (KACC 93023) on Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver-induced Rats)

  • 본 연구에서는 밀웜으로 잘 알려진 갈색거저리 유충(Tenebrio molitor larvae)분말을 Saccharomyces cerevisiae M1(KACC 93023)으로 발효하였다. 그 후 발효물을 orotic acid에 의해 비 알코올성 지방간이 유발된 흰쥐에 급여하여 개선 여부를 판단해보았다. Orotic acid로 인해 지질 대사에 이상이 생긴 대조군의 경우 장기 무게 및 체중이 증가한 것에 반해 발효 갈색거저리 유충 분말을 급여한 군에서는 정상군과 흡사한 중량을 나타냈다. 그리고 간 건강의 지표로 알려진 AST, ALT, ALP 및 LDH 활성 역시 가장 낮았으며, 각종 지질 관련 지표들도 긍정적으로 나타나 개선 효과가 있는 것으로 판단된다. 또한 간 조직 및 혈청 내 과산화지질, glutathione 함량 역시 정상군과 흡사하거나 더 뛰어난 수치를 띄었다. 마지막으로 H&E 염색, Oil red O 염색을 통한 간 조직의 형태학적 관찰 결과, 발효 갈색거저리를 급여한 군에서 정상군과 흡사한 간세포의 형태 및 배열과 함께 염색된 지방이 눈에 띄게 감소된 모습을 나타내었다. 위 결과를 종합해본다면, 일반 갈색거저리를 급여하였을 때 일부 실험에서 수치가 개선됨을 확인할 수 있었고, 이를 효모로 발효시켰을 경우 대부분의 지표에서 정상치에 가까울 만큼 더욱 긍정적인 개선효과를 나타내었다. 이를 통해 발효물이 비 알코올성 지방간의 개선에 도움을 주는 것으로 판단, 향후 다양한 제품의 소재로 활용될 가능성을 시사하였다.

Performance, Digestibility and Carcass Characteristics of Growing/Finishing Pigs Fed Barley-Based Diets Supplemented with an Extruded or Unextruded Blend of Peas and Canola Seed or Meal

  • Seventy-two crossbred pigs weighing an average of 41.5 kg were assigned on the basis of sex, weight and litter to one of four dietary treatments in a factorial (4 treatments${\times}$2 sexes) arrangement. The control diet was based on barley and soybean meal while the experimental treatments consisted of diets in which a portion of the dietary protein was supplied by 20% of a 50:50 blend of extruded ($130^{\circ}C$ for 20 to 25 sec) peas and full-fat canola seed, 20% of a 50:50 blend of unextruded peas and full-fat canola seed or a diet containing 10% peas, 6% canola meal and 4% canola oil (to equal the level of canola oil provided by 10% whole canola seed). Digestibility coefficients for dry matter, crude protein and gross energy were significantly higher (p<0.05) for the control diet than for the other three diets. Extrusion produced no beneficial effects (p>0.05) on nutrient digestibility and there were no differences in digestibility between the diet based on intact canola seed compared with the diet containing canola meal and oil. Choice of protein supplement had no significant effects on gain, feed intake or feed conversion during the grower or finisher phases and over the entire experimental period. Extrusion of the pea-canola blend produced no beneficial effects on pig performance as the performance of pigs fed either the extruded or unextruded blend of peas and canola seed was similar. In addition, the performance of pigs fed diets containing intact canola seed was similar to that of pigs fed canola meal and oil. Castrates gained faster and consumed more feed than gilts (p<0.05). However, their feed conversion was poorer than that of the gilts during the finisher period. There were no significant differences in carcass traits between pigs fed the control and any of the experimental treatments. Extrusion had no effect on carcass traits and the carcasses of pigs fed canola meal and oil did not differ from those of pigs fed whole canola seed. Castrates had a significantly lower dressing percentage, lower estimated lean yield but greater loin fat depth than gilts (p<0.05). The results of this experiment indicate that peas in combination with canola seed or canola meal are an acceptable alternative to soybean meal as a protein supplement for use in growing-finishing swine diets. Extrusion did not appear to have any beneficial effects on the nutritional value of the canola seed-pea blend as nutrient digestibility, growth performance and carcass traits were similar for pigs fed the unextruded blend of peas and canola seed compared with the extruded product. Since the process adds to the cost of the raw products, its use is unlikely to be economical.

Effect of Thawing Methods and Storage Time on Physicochemical Characteristic and Fatty Acid and Amino Acid Content of Frozen Duck Meat

  • This study investigated the effects of thawing methods and storage time on the quality of frozen duck meat. Meat was obtained from eight-week-old Korean native ducks (average weight=2.8 kg). Seventy-two samples were divided into eight treatments (three replicates/treatment, three samples/replicate) with 2 × 4 factorial arrangement based on two thawing methods (under running water at 12℃ for 3 h and in a refrigerator at 5℃ for 24 h) and four storage times (1, 3, 6, and 12 months). CIE b* was significantly different among different storage time treatments, reaching its lowest after 6 months (P<0.05). Cooking loss did not differ between storage times; however, it was significantly lower following application of the fast thawing treatment (P<0.05). Water-holding capacity of meat stored for one month was highest compared to that of meat stored for a longer period (P<0.05). Additionally, there were significant differences based on storage time in γ-linoleic acid (C18:3n6) and eicosenoic acid (C20:1n9) contents (P<0.01), as well as in protein contents (P<0.05). Palmitoleic acid (C16:1n7) typically decreased after three months of storage; however, this decline was not significant compared to other storage times. Essential amino acids contents, except methionine, were significantly difference at six and 12 months of storage (P<0.05). Similarly, non-essential amino acid contents, except tyrosine, were significantly different among storage periods (P<0.05, P<0.01). Alternatively, there were no significant differences in the chemical composition, fatty acid content, or amino acid content based on the thawing method.

병원 내 응급구조사의 직무만족도가 조직몰입에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Job Satisfaction in Emergency Medical Technician within Hospital upon Organizational Commitment)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to offer basic data in arranging the improved working environment to Emergency Medical Technicians, by analyzing the influence of job satisfaction in Emergency Medical Technician within hospital upon organizational commitment. Method : This study was carried out targeting 203 Emergency Medical Technicians who are working at hospitals in B Metropolitan City, U Metropolitan City, D Metropolitan City, an d G Province. The data collection was performed from April 1, 2009 to June 10. The statistical processing was used a program of SPSS WIN 12.0 Version. The statistical significance was set to p<.05. Results : 1. In the descriptive statistics of the job satisfaction and the organizational commitment. the whole average for job satisfaction was 3.06 points. The whole average for organizational commitment was 3.05 points. 2. In the difference between job satisfaction and organizational commitment, the group for job satisfaction was indicated to be statistically significant in job-choice motive(F=2.710, p<.05) and turnover propensity(t=.662, p<.001). The group for organizational commitment was indicated to be statistically significant in working department(F=2.871, p<.05), job-choice motive(F=2.944, p<.05), turnover propensity(t=.903, p<.001), and turnover reason(F=3.415, p<.01). 3. In the correlation between job satisfaction and organizational commitment, the job satisfaction showed positive correlation(r=.736, p<.01) with organizational commitment. 4. As for the influence of job-satisfaction factor upon organizational commitment, salary(${\beta}$=.162, t=2.739, p<.01), autonomy(${\beta}$=.372, t=4.633, p<.001), working environment(${\beta}$=.139, t=1.968, p<.05), and organizational needs(${\beta}$=.172, t=2.291, p<.05) were indicated to have significant effect on organizational commitment. Conclusion : The institutional arrangement is considered to be likely to be necessarily made highly for improving social image and enhancing salary and working environment so that Emergency Medical Technician within hospital can be enhanced job satisfaction and organizational commitment.

‘남자한복바지만들기’에 VTR을 활용한 가정과 교수.학습의 효과 (The Effect on Method of the Teaching & Learning Home Economics by the use of VTR on Making Korean Man’s Slacks)

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest how we can get over the difficulties of practical drill under experimentation concerning the units of making clothes in the curriculum of home economics. The import of this study was based on the results of the preceding studies the field of the making Korean clothes, from the standpoint of the teaching tools and teaching materials by the use of VTR, is one of the most insufficient. On the one hand, the teaching procedure here a VTR, running 34 minutes or so, was made up with the process of making Korean men’s slacks, and was led by the researcher’s own. The contents of the lesson are as follows: the shape of Korean clothes, the name of each part, the process of drawing, cutting and sewing, and the items of evaluation and arrangement. On the other hand, the two comparative groups were made to compare one with the other: One group was taught by help of VTR media, and the other by the model performance and explanation of the instructor’s own. All of the statistical data were analyzed in terms of SPSS/PC, and t-verification was made, to make difference between the two, after standard deviation was calculated according to the classified domains. The consequences of the test research are shown as below: 1. The difference of understanding was obviously made in considering that the group made a better score than the comparative one in understanding to process of making Korean clothes. 2. The difference of skill was highly made in considering that the group made a better score than the comparative one in the practical drill of making Korean clothes. 3. The difference of interests was evidentally made in considering that the group made a better score than the comparative one in the stage of making Koran clothes. Such means that the motivation and attitude of the learners was made stimulate by the Audio-Visual material than by the traditional cramming method. 4. The difference of frequency was fairly made in considering that the experimeatal group made a better score than the comparative one in the frequency of individual teaching. 5. The difference of the efficiency of time-consumption was clearly made in considering that the experimental group made a better score than the comparative one. As the results of the research above, the medium of VTR proved to more effective to the achievement of schoolwork and the strategies of teaching. Therefore, more use of VTR media will help the instructors with the difficulties of practical drill in the whole process of making Korean clothes; Widely use of VTR media in teaching will be surely more fruitfull to the unit of making Korean clothes than teaching by explanation.

성견 치주질환 발치와에 이식된 구연산 처리 치근의 치유에 대한 연구 (THE EFFECT OF THE CITRIC ACID ON THE REPAIR OF THE DENUDED ROOTS TRANSPLANTED IN PERIODONTALLY INVOLVED EXTRACTION SOCKETS IN DOGS)

  • The author transplanted periodontally-diseased teeth which had been treated with citric acid into a clinically healthy extraction sockets and periodontally-affected extraction sockets, and compared with the healing processes within these tissues. Recipient sites were prepared by surgically removing a part of alveolar bone of premolars of adults dogs, placing elastic orthodontic ligatures for 8weeks, thereby inducing periodontal disease. The diseased roots were extracted and transplanted into healthy extraction sockets, and these were designated as control group 1. Diseased roots transplanted into diseased sockets were designated as control group 2. Diseased roots which had been root planed, treated with citric acid and transplanted into healthy sockets were designated as experimental group 1, while identically treated roots which had been transplanted into diseased sockets were designated as experimental group 2. Observations were made at weeks 2, 8 and 12, with following results. 1. At week 2, experimental group 2 showed some inflammatory cell infiltration in the connective tissue above the extraction sockets, while control groups showed less inflammatory or foreign body reactions throughout the experiment. 2. In both control groups, root surface resorption was observed throughout the experiment, while experimental groups showed a little resorption. 3. Control group 1 & 2 showed ankylosis by newly-formed bone ground the resorbed root surfaces, while experimental group 1 & 2 displayed collagen fibers which are not functionally-arranged, with random, loose arrangement or parallel orientation to root surfaces, and newly-formed bone outside of them. 4. In both control groups & experimental groups which had been transplanted into a clinically healthy extraction sockets & periodontally affected extraction sockets groups, histological differences were not significant. 5. Root resorption or ankylosis in control group 1 & 2 had increased quantitatively as experiment progressed. 6. New bone formation developed from the base and lateral wall of extraction sockets. In both control groups & experimental groups, root surfaces lying next to the upper portion of extraction sockets showed little alveolar bone formation and surrounded by connective tissue fiber at weeks 2 & 8, while at weeks 12, they did show alveolar bone formation. 7. At week 12, experimental group 2 showed numerous cells which appeared to be periodontal ligament cells, with functionally arranged connective tissue fibers between the roots and alveolar bone.
