In order to reduce the cost of software maintenance including software modification, we suggest the object oriented program with checking the version of application program using the Java language and the technique of executing the downloaded application program via network using the application manager. In order to change the traditional scheduler to the application manager we have adopted the Xlet concept in the nuclear fields using the network. In usual Xlet means a Java application that runs on the digital television receiver. The Java TV Application Program Interface(API) defines an application model called the Xlet application lifecycle. Java applications that use this lifecycle model are called Xlets. The Xlet application lifecycle is compatible with the existing application environment and virtual machine technology. The Xlet application lifecycle model defines the dialog(protocol) between an Xlet and its environment

The issue of using information system to ensure competitive power in the market is rising. The outsourcing methods that entrust activities of information system of companies to other expert agencies are increasing as the enterprises make a lot of efforts to put their resources to their heart of business in the process of adopting information system. Recently, ASP (Application Service Provider) as new information technology outsourcing method appears due to development of network technology and spreading of peculating software. ASP defines as a software leasing service which is supplied through networks instead of purchasing application software with high price. For successful implementation of ASP, it is necessary to develop a certification program to ensure safety and reliability of ASP. This paper provides the safe and reliable certification program for ASP. In order to develop it, the critical issues related to service quality and certification of ASP are identified and then evaluation methodology for ASP certification program is proposed. This paper presents application certification as the part of ASP certification program.

현재 우리 사회를 대변하고 있는 단어는 정보통신기술(ICT)일 것이다. 정보통신 기술의 발전으로 우리나라의 소프트웨어 산업은 양적으로, 질적으로 발전하고 있다. 이러한 소프트웨어 산업의 고도성장에 따른 문제점 중 하나는 소프트웨어에 대한 지적재산권 문제이며 이로 인해 다양한 유형의 분쟁들이 발생하고 있다는 점이다. 소프트웨어에 대한 대부분의 분쟁 중 응용 프로그램이 차지하는 비중이 상당히 많은 비율을 차지하고 있다. 이는 다양한 산업분야에서 필요로 하는 프로그램들이 수없이 개발되고 있기 때문에 자연스러운 현상이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 현재와 같은 고도화된 ICT 환경에서는 지적재산권에 대한 중요성이 점점 더 확장될 것이다. 본 연구에서는 프로그램에 대한 사례를 중심으로 하여 프로그램의 유사성 및 복제도 정도를 도출할 수 있는 방안을 소스 프로그램의 수준에서 제시하였다.

In evolutionary algorithm, there exist various models for the evolution of the population with respect to schemes and strategies for reproduction. In the application of the algorithm to a specific problem, one model suitable to the problem is to be properly chosen and a program expert or a software is needed to help implement and test a designed algorithm. In this study, the software for simple evolutionary algorithms(SEA) with one population is developed. The software is designed as an application framework type, so that it may be friendly, allow users to add some program, and operate under the environment of Windows. For this, hierarchical classes for components of SEA are first designed by means of an object-oriented approach and then a library for SEA is built by them. With the library, developed is an application framework that can generate a frame code for an application program. The software proposed here can be used as a generalized tool for solving problems in a wide range of domains.

Software development of large scale program such as Operating System or University Total Information System is lengthy and costly process. In order to reduce cost, time and risk, there is currentry general acceptance of the need for Software Reuse System during the whole development cycles. In this paper, (from a practical point of view), the problem of existing reuse system methodology is analyzed and an implement method of software reuse system is presented. Also using this method Application Program Reuse System(APRS) which supports all phase of software life cycles is designed and implemented. This application program reuse system which is based on common language is considerably shown to reduce communication Error of requirement specification between systems analyst and end-user.

스마트 폰 환경에서 개발되는 어플리케이션 소프트웨어는 시스템 개발방법론이 적용되어 오고 있다. 본 논문은 스마트 폰 환경에서 개발되는 주요 응용 프로그램에 요구되는 보안 고려사항을 살펴보았다. 먼저 어플리케이션 프로그램에서 보안 문제를 살펴보았고, 안전한 어플리케이션 프로그램을 위한 보안정책 문제를 고찰하였다.

악성 소프트웨어로 인한 피해가 나날이 급증하면서, 컴퓨터 사용자가 보안상 안전하게 사용할 수 있는 환경이 필수적으로 요구되고 있다. 일반적인 백신 프로그램은 악성코드가 실행된 이후에 이를 탐지한다. 이러한 백신 프로그램은 알려진 악성코드에 대해서는 효율적인 결과를 보이지만, 실행 전 응용 소프트웨어에 포함되어 있는 악성코드의 검출에 대해서는 그 기능이 없거나 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 응용 소프트웨어의 실행 전 악성코드의 유무를 판단하기 위해 응용소프트웨어의 안전성 검증 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 안전성 검증 시스템은 악성코드의 흐름 유형을 파악하여 소프트웨어가 실행되기 전 이를 탐지함으로서 악성코드로 인해 일어날 수 있는 피해를 줄일 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 사료된다.

This paper presents a modeling tool, so-called X-ADD (X-window application Analysis & Design Diagram), which is useful for the understanding of existing X-window application program and the development of new X-window application software. This X-ADD tool is available for the X-window applications maintenance activities such as program understanding, and program analysis by the concept of reverse engineering. In addition, it supports the analysis and design for the new X-window application system development. Therefore, by the use of this tool, the visibility of the existing X-window application programs can be enhanced and modeling for the design of new X-window application systems can be easily made.

It is necessary to construct an effective regional information system in facing the incoming information intensive society. Many local government in Korea began to recognize a need for constructing a GIS(Geographic Information System) and they are planning to construct GIS´s to improve their administrative efficiency. However, ti requires high-priced hardware, software, and an experienced operator to sue a GIS effectively. The purpose of this study is to develop the GIS program which can be sued with ease by common users. By developing a GIS functioned program using a coordinate recognition module by application of geo-spatial data, and a digital map which is already made, this program can be used efficiently only by only inputting attributes without high-priced hardware and software, and can be utilized easily to every purposes of work with geo-spatial data and attributes. MapObjects, mapping and GIS component, was employed to use geo-spatial data, and Access 97 from Microsoft to manage and attributes database. Visual Basic, objected-oriented language, was used to develop an application program. Results of this study were applied to constructing the Information system of Kanwon National University. This program could be used for various purposed by common users without additional hardware and software.
