  • A number of MPLS ATM systems have been proposed to increase the access speed of current routers, which only support the best-effort service. However, the MPLS ATM systems have to support the so-called differential service, which discriminates the applications according to the service class because they do not be satisfied the Internet users who use diverse applications. In this paper, to support this differential service a detailed forwarding procedure based on a LSP control method and an application-based marking algorithm is suggested. The LSP control method establishes several different LSPs for each FEC according to the service class and the application-based marking algorithm chooses a proper differential service depending on the application category. Also, a design scheme of forwarding engine, which can be easily implemented with a minimum modification of existing MPLS ATM systems is proposed. And, the best simulation result of high priority application category is gained when the proposed forwarding algorithm is comparedwithexistingalgorithms.

  • Augmented reality(AR) service as one of the representative technologies in the era of the 4th industrial revolution has gotten people's increasing attention. At this time, this study aimed to examine the determinants affecting service satisfaction of the AR-based camera application service by focusing on Naver's service. Several factors that might have influences on satisfaction of the AR-based camera application service were conceived based on the previous literature. And it was tested whether they had influences on satisfaction of the AR-based camera application service or not empirically. The responses of a sample of 312 people who had experienced using Naver's service were collected by means of an online survey and they were analyzed employing a hierarchical regression analysis. The results of this research indicated that gender as one of demographic variable, perceived interactivity, aesthetic value, trend following motivation as an extrinsic motivation and playfulness as an intrinsic motivation have significant influences on the service satisfaction of the AR-based camera application service. The results in this study have meanings since they can be used as references for AR service providers to develop more satisfactory AR services.

  • This paper considers service deployment and priority optimization for multiple service-oriented applications sharing reusable services, which are deployed as multiple instances in the cloud. In order to handle variations in the workloads of the multiple applications, service instances of the individual reusable services are dynamically provisioned in the cloud. Also service priorities for each application in a particular reusable service are dynamically adjusted. In this paper, we propose an analytic performance model, based on a queueing network model, to predict the expected sojourn times of multiple service-oriented applications, given the number of service instances and priority disciplines in individual reusable services. We also propose a simple heuristic algorithm to search an optimal number of service instances in the cloud and service priority disciplines for each application in individual reusable services. A numerical example is also presented to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed performance model and algorithm to the proposed optimal decision problem.

  • To transform the enterprise system into the 'Real Time Enterprise' with respect to IT, I suggest the conceptual application model which is composed of pieces(components) extracted from different packaged applications working in a heterogeneous environment based on the 'business activity' in other words, business services provided by internal (inter-enterprise) and external (extended enterprise) application to support a business activity within in an enterprise and the design mechanism focusing service tier which acts as intermediate tier within application architecture.

  • O2O service that combine online with offline service has been rapidly increasing and O2O service is the new trend that merges online commerce with traditional markets in various fields. The purpose of this study is to investigate influences of University Student's Perceived O2O application characteristics on O2O services satisfaction and continuous use intention. For this purpose, questionnaires including O2O application characteristics scale, customer perceived O2O satisfaction scale and O2O use intention scale were administered to 241 college students in Seoul. Regression analysis revealed that O2O application Characteristics showed influences of O2O service satisfaction. The O2O application charac*teristics showed influences of continuous use of intention of O2O services, O2O services satisfaction showed partial influence continuous use intention of O2O service. The result of this study is expected to provide implication as an initial study O2O service which is spreading with the growth of mobile ICT. Ultimately, the results of this study provide a number of theoretical and practical implications.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the service satisfaction of users using community service, and to suggest directions for continuous growth and high service of social service providers in the future. This study was conducted on G metropolitan cities. T-test and one-way ANOVA were conducted for the comparison of 476 users of social service users by gender, income level, and age. In addition, multiple regression analysis was conducted to identify factors affecting user satisfaction. The statistical package analyzed was SPSS 21.0. As a result of the study, the application process, the satisfaction of the service period, and the satisfaction of the service provider were statistically significant at the income level. In addition, in the age group satisfaction, the application procedure, the satisfaction of the service period, the satisfaction of the service frequency, and the satisfaction of the workforce were statistically significant.

  • The realization of u-City is coming near in some local governments by applying various city services, namely, u-City services to the city construction field to improve competitiveness of the city. But it is a reality that some local governments are experiencing many trial and errors in application of the u-City service in addition to the problem posing that the u-City service is not considering characteristics of development or application environment of an individual city. The present research proposes a service model for on-site application of the u-City service to solve this problem. The proposed model suggests a method for specifically conceptualizing and objectifying the on-site application that the existing concept-oriented model or an architecture-oriented model, etc. didn't provide. The verification system on effectiveness or effects of the u-City service model to remove ambiguity on the u-City service especially. The verification system of the u-City service model grasps the technology, function, procedure and target, etc. that the u-City service contains, evaluates whether the model satisfies conditions that the model should have, and secures objectivity and predictability of the u-City service model through confirmation on propriety, implementation and effectiveness, etc.

  • Recently, the postal service encounters the various changes in the overall mail environment including the reduction of letter volume, keen competition of the private parcel service and EMS, diversification of customers' demand and etc. In this environment, Korea Post is considering new concept of postal service in order to provide the mail service based on informatization and automation to a client and secures the predominance in competition. We analyze the current environment of postal service for applying the gCRM (Geographic Customer Relationship Management). We propose some possible application fields and present an efficient phased application plan for each field.

  • This study conducts topic modeling analysis on four electric scooter sharing platforms: Alpaca, SingSing, Kickgoing, and Beam. Using user review data, the study aims to identify key topics and issues associated with each platform, as well as uncover common themes across platforms. The analysis reveals that users primarily express concerns and preferences related to application usability, service mobility, and parking/accessibility. Additionally, each platform exhibits unique characteristics and challenges. Alpaca users generally appreciate convenience and enjoyment but express concerns about safety and service areas. SingSing faces issues with application functionality, while Kickgoing users encounter connectivity problems and device usability issues. Beam receives overall positive feedback, but users express dissatisfaction with application usability and parking. Based on these findings, scooter sharing service providers should focus on enhancing application features, stability, and expanding service coverage to meet user expectations and improve customer satisfaction. Furthermore, highlighting platform-specific strengths and providing tailored services can enhance competitiveness and foster continuous service growth and development.
