  • The user interface design needs to support the complex interactions between human and computers. It also requires comprehensive knowledges many areas to collect customer's requirements and negotiate with them. The user interface designer needs to be a graphic expert, requirement analyst, system designer, programmer, technical expert, social activity scientist, and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to research on an designing methodology of user interface for satisfying various expertise areas. In the paper, We propose the 4 business event's abstract object visualizing phases such as fold abstract object modeling, task abstract object modeling, transaction abstract object modeling, and form abstract object modeling. As a result, this modeling method allows us to enhance visual cohesion of UI, and help unskilled designer to can develope the higy-qualified user interface.

The Design of Abstract Layer for Motion Capture System (모션캡처 시스템을 위한 추상레이어의 설계)

  • In this paper, the abstract layer for motion capture system is designed and implemented to meet the various hardware and different capturing method. The abstract layer can offer the unified programming by providing device independent API(Application Programming Interface). The device drivers of the optical system and mechanical system are emulated to verify the designed abstract layer. The optical system employs the AOA Ole while the mechanical system uses BVH file. An application program is written to call the abstract layer functions to drive both optical and mechanical drivers and receive the frame data, simulated motion data, that are displayed sequentially on the computer screen by utilizing Direct3D.

  • In this paper, we establish several basic formulas among the double-integral transforms, the double-convolution products, and the inverse double-integral transforms of cylinder functionals on abstract Wiener space. We then discuss possible relationships involving the double-integral transform.

Mental similarities between the traditional Korean costume and geometric abstraction art (한국 전통복식과 기하추상 예술의 정신적 유사성)

  • Geometric abstract art has been a persistent form since ancient times and is defined in modernity as a genre of abstract painting. According to previous studies, the geo- metric structure of traditional Korean costume possesses uniqueness based on Korean thought and philosophy. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to first derive the characteristics of Wilhelm Worringer's theory, a theorist of geometric abstraction, and then compare the spiritual similarities between the traditional Korean costume and geometric abstract art, with the aim of examining the artistic competitiveness of Hanbok. Photographic materials from domestic and international museums, as well as books published by museums and government agencies, were analyzed. Further, the characteristics of Worringer's theory of the abstract impulse were derived. The results are as follows. First, the external factors are characterized by a single geometric shape on a flat surface with restrained spatial expression. The internal factors include anxiety, comfort from religion or ideology, and the need for a visual refuge for rest. Second, traditional Korean costume and geometric abstraction share common spiritual contexts of artistry, transcendence, and stability according to Worringer's theory. Third, the study of the spiritual similarities between the traditional Korean costume and geometric abstract art through Worringer's theory reveals that the artistry of traditional Korean costume is expressed in universal forms, transcendence as intrinsic origins, and stability as a unique aesthetic consciousness. These findings provide a framework for reinterpreting the originality and universality of traditional Korean costume as Korean cultural content, infused with the characteristics of modern art.

  • In this paper, a coincidence theorem for a compact ${\Re}\mathfrak{C}$-map is proved in an abstract convex space. Several more general coincidence theorems for noncompact ${\Re}\mathfrak{C}$-maps are derived in abstract convex spaces. Some examples are given to illustrate our coincidence theorems. As applications, an alternative theorem concerning the existence of maximal elements, an alternative theorem concerning equilibrium problems and a minimax inequality for three functions are proved in abstract convex spaces.

Controlling a Traversal Strategy of Abstract Reachability Graph-based Software Model Checking (추상 도달가능성 그래프 기반 소프트웨어 모델체킹에서의 탐색전략 고려방법)

  • Although traversal strategies are important for the performance of model checking, many studies have ignored the impact of traversal strategies in model checking with a block-encoded abstract reachability graph. Studies have considered traversal strategies only for an abstract reachability graph without block-encoding. Block encoding plays a crucial role in the model checking performance. This paper therefore describes Dual-traversal strategy, a simple and novel technique to control traversal strategies in a block-encoded abstract reachability graph. This method uses two traversal strategies for a model checking, one for effective block-encoding, and the other for traversal in an encoded abstract reachability graph. Dual-traversal strategy is very simple and can be implemented without overhead compared to the existing single-traversal strategy. We implemented the Dual-traversal strategy in an open source model checking tool and compare the performances of different traversal strategies. The results show that the model checking performance varies from the traversal strategies for the encoded abstract reachability graph.

A Study on the Color Extendability in Mark Rothko's Color-Field Abstract (마크 로드코의 색면추상에 표현된 색의 확장성 연구)

  • This study is aimed at understanding the color extendibility of color-field abstract through Mark Rothko's paintings. Color extendibility is a structure applied by Mark Rothko. He simplifies it and by pursuing autonomy and immediacy of the color itself, including surface color and the front of color-field, Rothko creates value through motions in his square paintings of non-fixed shapes. Chapter 2 revisits the meaning of color in abstract expressionism and explains the principle of color-field by applying the concept of ergon and parergon. In chapter 3, the principle, processes, methods, techniques of expression were studied as a basis to understand color extendibility and color-field abstract. In chapter 4, the works of Mark Rothko were analyzed based on his multiform paintings(1946-1948), number and untitled(1949-1957), and black paintings(1958-1970) in order to identify, in the final chapter, the features of color extendibility in Rothko's works. According to the above research, the thesis successfully concludes that the artist's reconstruction of reality and readjustment of transcendent reality are reproduced via color extendibility, the movement of color-field.
