  • In this paper we prove a weak common fixed point theo-rem in a normed almost linear space which is different from the result of S. P. Singh and B.A. Meade [9]. However for a Banach X our theorem is equal to the result of S. P. Singh and B. A. Meade.

  • Let the circle act on a compact almost complex manifold M with a non-empty discrete fixed point set. To each fixed point, there are associated non-zero integers called weights. A positive weight w is called primitive if it cannot be written as the sum of positive weights, other than w itself. In this paper, we show that if every weight is primitive, then the Todd genus Todd(M) of M is positive and there are $Todd(M){\cdot}2^n$ fixed points, where dim M = 2n. This generalizes the result for symplectic semi-free actions by Tolman and Weitsman [8], the result for semi-free actions on almost complex manifolds by the author [6], and the result for certain symplectic actions by Godinho [1].

  • In this paper, we study the global stability and the existence of almost periodic solution of high-order Hopfield neural networks with distributed delays of neutral type. Some sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence, uniqueness and global exponential stability of almost periodic solution by employing fixed point theorem and differential inequality techniques. An example is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed method and results.

  • In this paper, the global stability and almost periodicity are investigated for generalized Hopfield neural networks with time-varying neutral delays. Some sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence and globally exponential stability of almost periodic solution by employing fixed point theorem and differential inequality techniques. The results of this paper are new and complement previously known results. Finally, an example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our results.

  • In this paper cellular neutral networks with time-varying delays and continuously distributed delays are considered. Without assuming the global Lipschitz conditions of activation functions, some sufficient conditions for the existence and exponential stability of the almost periodic solutions are established by using the fixed point theorem and differential inequality techniques. The results of this paper are new and complement previously known results.

  • We obtain a Chandrabhan type fixed point theorem for a multimap having a non-compact domain and a weakly closed graph, and taking convex values only on a quasi-convex subset of Hausdorff locally convex topological vector space. We introduce the definition of Chandrabhan-set and find a sufficient condition for every countably condensing multimap to have a relatively compact Chandrabhan-set. Finally, we establish a new version of Sadovskii fixed point theorem for multimaps.

  • An almost complex torus manifold is a 2n-dimensional compact connected almost complex manifold equipped with an effective action of a real n-dimensional torus Tn ≃ (S1)n that has fixed points. For an almost complex torus manifold, there is a labeled directed graph which contains information on weights at the fixed points and isotropy spheres. Let M be a 6-dimensional almost complex torus manifold with Euler number 6. We show that two types of graphs occur for M, and for each type of graph we construct such a manifold M, proving the existence. Using the graphs, we determine the Chern numbers and the Hirzebruch χy-genus of M.

  • We introduce a new concept of convex spaces and a multimap class K having certain KKM property. From a basic KKM type theorem for a K-map defined on an convex space without any topology, we deduce ten equivalent formulations of the theorem. As applications of the equivalents, in the frame of convex topological spaces, we obtain Fan-Browder type fixed point theorems, almost fixed point theorems for multimaps, mutual relations between the map classes K and B, variational inequalities, the von Neumann type minimax theorems, and the Nash equilibrium theorems.
