This study intended to examine how customers of self-service technology of airlines perceive and adopt the technology, and how such perceptions affect their willingness to use it. The findings of analysis are as follows. First of all, self-efficacy, a personal characteristics variable, has significant effects on both perceived usefulness and ease of use (H1). Second, though personal innovation which accepts new information technology more positively and challenge to use it before others has significant effect on perceived usefulness (H 2-1), it does not have significant effect on ease of use (H 2-2). Third, perceived ease of use has effect on perceived usefulness. Forth, both perceived usefulness and ease of use have positive effects on willingness to use.

Busan Gimhae Airport is a major airline base in Busan Gyeongnam and is close to Busan Harbor, With close the five largest ports in the world, GimHae has not been developed to fit the size and role of the port. Currently, there is an increasing number of flights and airline companies in use, but it is already foreseen that the airport has become a saturating airport and a military airport. Therefore, the lack of awareness of the importance of GimHae Airport and the lack of routes for airlines are a problem for KimHae Airport. This study considers the reduction of logistics cost and time due to the expansion of the international airport by anticipating the development of Busan International Airport centered on the ship supplies logistics based on the present point of time and the development plan of Busan Kimhae Airport. In addition, we review the priority of major air routes based on prefabricated logistics, and examine the contributions to the port logistics industry in Busan.

This study intends to examine how authentic leadership affects psychological well-being and job performance among flight attendants. To test hypotheses, this study performed survey to flight attendants of big airlines in Korea for about two months from October 1 to December 5, 2018. 200 copies of the questionnaire was distributed, and 180 were collected. Among them, 21 copies where many questions were unanswered or not very seriously answered were discarded. So, 159 copies in total were used for analysis. Statistical analysis was done with SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 21.0. The results are as follows. First, balanced information processing, self-awareness, self-awareness have significant effect on psychological well-being, while relational transparency have not. Second, psychological well-being have significant effect on job performance. Consequently, all the hypotheses in this study except for hypothesis 1-3 were adopted.

This study is an example of the registration of intellectual property rights by applying capstone design to airline service. To relieve the inconvenience of the 'Paper Cage' that is on sale in the airlines, the team create 'Foldable Inflight Pet Cage' for the convenience of passengers accompanying their pets. This allowed not only pets but also passengers on board to make comfortable and safe air travel. Through collaboration with aviation experts and pet cages production experts, the team produced foldable cages that were not previously available. For verification of products, preliminary survey was conducted to enable the commercialization of foldable cage. The project period was 15 weeks, and the participants consisted of 18 students, 1 professor, and 4 industry experts. This study shows Capstone Design can also be applied in airline service and be a valuable research on the necessity of industry-academic links and practical-oriented education.

Economic indicators are a factor that affects air cargo volume. This study analyzes the different factors affecting air cargo volume by each Chinese cities according to the main characteristics. The purpose of this study is to help companies related to China, airlines, and other stakeholders predict and prepare for the fluctuations in air cargo volume and make optimal decisions. To this end, 20 economic data were used, and the entire data was reduced to 5 dimensions through factor analysis to build a dataset necessary and evaluated the influencing factors by multi regression. The result shows that Macro-Economic Indicators, Production/Service indicators are significant for every cities and Chinese manufacture/Customer indicators, Korean manufacture/Oil Price indicators, Trade/Current indicators are significant for each other city. All adjusted R2 values are high enough to explain our model and the result showed excellent performance in terms of analyzing the different factors which affects air cargo volume. If companies that are currently doing business with China can identify factors affecting China's cargo volume, they can be flexible in response to changes in plans such as plans to enter China, production plans and inventory management, and marketing strategies, which can be of great help in terms of corporate operations.

The OECD has assessed Korea as the third highest in trade facilitation worldwide. The paperless trade of Korea is world class based on uTradeHub : national e-trade service's infrastructure for trade community. Over 800 trade-related document standards provide interoperability of message exchange and trade process automation among exporters, importers, banks, customs, airlines, shippers, forwarders and trade authorities. Most one-to-one unit processes are perfectly paperless & online; however, from the perspective of process flow, there is a lack of streamlining end-to-end trade processes spread over many different parties. This situation causes the trade community to endure repetitive-redundant load for handling trade documents. The trade community has a strong demand for seamless trade flow. For streamlining the trade process, processes with data should flow seamlessly to multilateral parties. Flowing data with an optimized process is the critical success factor to accomplish seamless trade. This study proposes four critical digital trade infrastructures as a platform service : (1) data-centric Intelligent Document Recognition(IDR), (2) data-driven Digital Document Flow (DDF), (3) platform based Digital Collaboration & Communication(DCC), and (4) new digital Trade Facilitation Index (dTFI) for precise assessment of K-Trade Digital Trade Framework. The results of new dTFI analyses showed that redundant reentry load was reduced significantly over the whole trade and logistics process. This study leads to the belief that if put into real-world application can provide huge economic gains by building a new global value chain of the K-trade eco network. A new digital trade framework will be invaluable in promoting national soft power for enhancing global competitiveness of the trade community. It could become the advanced reference model of next trade facilitation infrastructure for developing countries.

In commemoration of Vol. 30, Issue 3, our journal prepared five review articles and one original paper. The global outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020 has impacted our society, and especially the aviation and travel industries have been severely damaged. Kwon presented the aviation medical examination regulations related to COVID-19 announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport of the Republic of Korea. Lim summarized various efforts of airlines to overcome the crisis in the aviation industry. He also discussed the management of these aircraft as the number of airplanes landing for long periods increased. Finally, he suggested various quarantine guidelines at airports and onboard aircraft. COVID-19 has had a profound impact on mental health as well as physical effects. Kim investigated the impact of COVID-19 on mental health and suggested ways to manage the stress caused by it. The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a technology in which devices communicate with each other through wired or wireless communication. Hyun explained the current state of the technology of the IoT and how it could be used, especially in the aviation field. In the area of airline service, various situations arise between passengers and crew. Therefore, role-playing is useful in performing education to prepare and respond to passengers' different needs appropriately. Ra introduced the conceptual background and general concepts of role-playing and presented the actual role-play's preparation process, implementation, evaluation, and feedback process. For a fighter to fly for a long time and perform a rapid air attack, air refueling is essential, which serves refueling from the air rather than from the aircraft base. Koo developed a questionnaire based on the HFACS (Human Factors Analysis and Classification System) model and used it to conduct a fighter pilot survey and analyze the results.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of self-leadership on self-efficacy and customer orientation and to verify whether there is a mediating effect of self-efficy on the relationship between self-leadership and customer orientation. Methods: To verify these research problems, the subjects of this study were a total of 300 Korean cabin crew members working for domestic and foreign airlines who received distributed questionnaires and 247 copies wee analysed using the SPSS 20.0 program. Results: First, it can be seen that the self-leadership of airline cabin crew has a significant positive (+) effect on self-efficacy, indicating that self-leadership has a positive effect on the self-efficacy of the members of the organization. Second, it was found that self-efficacy had a positive (+) effect on the customer orientation of airline cabin crew, and it was analyzed that self-efficacy played a partial mediating role in the relationship between self-leadership and customer orientation. Third, it was found that self-leadership had a positive (+) effect on customer orientation, and it was proved that behavior-oriented strategy, constructive accident pattern, and natural compensation strategy, which are three sub-factors of self-leadership of cabin crew, have an influence on customer orientation. Conclusion: based on these findings, the theoretical and practical implications of this study and directions for future research were presented.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) introduced a safety management system in the aviation sector for aviation safety and mandated the implementation of safety management systems and national safety programs. The activation of the airline's safety management system is not just a requirement for organizational members to create and comply with necessary regulations, but a safety culture to promote and improve flight safety must be established within the organization. Therefore, the safety culture of airlines acts as a major key variable in the safety management system that directly affects safety performance. This study compared the data from the European pilot safety culture awareness, which was the basic data of the survey, with statistics on the safety culture awareness of domestic flight attendants to analyze the differences in safety culture between the two groups.

In order to improve continuous success and stabilization of high-speed rail in the future, Using Frequency of high-speed rail should be enhanced by improving satisfaction of high-speed rail passenger. High-speed rail is needed to hold the priority in competition means by comparing the traits of service of domestic air lines. This study utilizes structural equation modeling to develop model for estimating factors influencing to service through conducting survey questionnaire. It also uses reliability analysis, correlation analysis, factor analysis to examine the rationalization of items and to establish hypothesis of this research. The results show that KTX contains 'inner service' item that is considered to be ameliorated and that domestic airline present low performance of 'outer service' item. In other words, moving section which partly is under a limited condition is needed to be improved. In addition, access to airport and transfer to other transportations have to be improved as they show the lowest satisfaction.
