For the purpose of indoor air purification, air conditioner or purifier is generally used, but the long operating time induced the contamination by cumulation of bacteria in the air filter. The ozone sterilization method can be one of the effective sterilization method for this case. Ozone has not leave a secondary residual contaminants, as well as a strong sterilization power. In this study, nonthermal plasma technology is investigated as an ozone generator for the air filter sterilization. Additionally, nonthermal plasma technology is possible to obtain the generation of negative ions and electrostatic force by simply adjusting the applied voltage.

The purpose of this study is to estimate air purification effectiveness considering the improvement of its methods related atmospheric environment. The air purification effectiveness is estimated in Daegu, one out of Korean Metropolitan cities because air pollution is getting serious in a heavily urbanized area. The absorption of pollutants is calculated by considering spatial heterogeneity that was not considered previous studies and the spatial resolution of air dispersion modeling is also improved by kriging method. According to the type and distribution of urban forest, total 26 kinds of plant communities were distributed with Pinus densiflora community, Pinus densiflora-Quercus mongolica community, Pinus densiflora-Quercus acutissima community and other kinds of communities in the study area. In the results of estimating the $CO_2$ absorption amount for identification of the air purification effectiveness on urban forest, the annual absorption amount was total 108,155t/yr. Also, the annual absorption amounts of $NO_2$ and $SO_2$ were total 183.5 ton and 410.2 ton respectively. The findings from this study can confirm the differences of pollutant absorption by concentration that could not identify if spatial distribution of pollutant concentration had not been considered.

On this study, the test for air-purification was executed as using the UV lamp and the UV lamp on which the TiO2 catalyst had been deposited with glass fiber in the reactor chamber. It aimed at the basic data of air-purifier as assessing the features of removing abilities for various contaminants including CH3COOH, NH3, NO, and SO2 as varying the number of TiO2 coating, the wave of UV lamp, and the amount of additive CaO as variables.

Indoor air pollutants can cause severe health problems, specifically in terms of toxicological impacts on human. Every day, a complex mixture of many air pollutants is emitted from various sources and subject to atmospheric processes that can create varied classes of pollutants such as carboxylic acids, aldehydes, ketones, peroxyacetyl nitrate, and hydrocarbons. To adhere to indoor air quality standards, a number of techniques such as photocatalytic oxidation of various volatile organic compounds (VOCs) have been employed. Among these techniques, titania ($TiO_2$) based photocatalytic reactions have proven to be the best benchmark standard approach in the field of environmental applications. Over the last 45 years, $TiO_2$-based photocatalytic reactions have been explored for the degradation of various pollutants. This review discusses the indoor air quality profile, types of indoor pollutants, available indoor air cleaning approaches, and performance of $TiO_2$-based catalysts. Finally, we have presented the perspectives on the progress of $TiO_2$ induced photocatalysis for the purification of indoor air.
With the aim of achieving half the regulated value of EURO-3 Emission Regulations, an ultra low emission motorcycle has been developed based on a motorcycle with an 1800 $cm^3$, horizontal opposed 6-cylinder engine. For the fuel supply system, an electronically controlled fuel injection system was applied. For the emission purification system, three-way catalysts, a feedback control system with a LAF(Linear Air-Fuel ratio) sensor, and a secondary air induction system were applied. To reduce CO and HC emissions during cold starting, an early catalyst activation method combining RACV(Rotary Air Control Valve) and retarded ignition timing was applied. After the catalyst activation, air-fuel ratio was controlled to maximize the purification ratio of the catalyst according to vehicle speed. For the air-fuel ratio control system, the LAF sensor was used. Furthermore, fine adjustment by the LAF feedback control reduced torque fluctuation due to the air-fuel ratio change. As a result, smooth ride feeling was maintained. Owing to these technologies, half the regulated value of EURO-3 has been achieved without any negative impact to the large-scaled motorcycles' drivability. This paper presents the developed ultra low emission technologies including the control method using an LAF sensor.
The negative effects on ecosystem are getting serious due to the increase of particulate matters (PM) in the air by the increase of the number of population and the industrial activities. Thus, there have been a lot of environmental policies and researches of air purification system and filter mask to relieve the environmental problem. In this research, activated carbon impregnated cellulose acetate fiber filters produced using an electrospinning technique are studied for air purification. NaCl aqueous solution was used to generate PM and the humid air with NaCl PM was dried using a dehumidifier for the filter performance test. Filtration efficiency was increased with the increase of activated carbons, and acetone adsorption capacity was enhanced.

Recently, because of the worse of the air pollution, the excessive airtught of building and the inferiority of air conditioning system, the development of high efficiency air purification technology was enlarged to the environmental improvement of an indoor or a harmful working condition. The air purification technology has used chemical filters or charcoal filters or charcoal to remove hazardouse gaseous pollutants (SO$_{x}$, NO$_{x}$, NH$_{3}$, etc.) by air pollutant control technology, but they have many problems of high pressure loss, short life, wide space possession, and treatment of secondary wastes. For these reason, the object of reasearch shall be hazardous gaseous pollutants removal by the surface discharge induced plasma chemical process that is A.C. discharge of multistreams applied A.C. voltage and frequency between plane induced eletrode and line discharge eletrode of tungsten, platinum or titanium with a high purified alumina sheet having a film-like plane. As a result, the control performance for hazardous gaseous pollutants showed very high efficiency in the normal temperature and pressure. Also, after comtact oxidation decomposition of harmful gaseous pollutants, the remainded ozone concentration was found much lower than that of ACGIH or air pollution criteria in Korea.rea.

In this paper, we design, fabricate, and test the performance of a cabin filter with LED modules of composite wavelengths containing UV-A and UV-C. Germs and air farms of the manufactured cabin filter confirmed sterilization capability in the sterilization test, and special chambers were manufactured to verify organic material decomposition capability in the organic compound decomposition test. Using colkates as photocatalytic was proved to be superior to using metal mash. The sterilization and air purification capabilities of the cabin filter produced throughout this study were verified through a similar environmental test.

Since COVID-19, most of people's main living spaces have been moved indoors. Due to this influence, many people's interest in companion plants continues to rise. People who raise companion plants often raise them for the purpose of emotional stability or air purification. In fact, plants have the effect of giving people a sense of emotional stability and the ability to purify indoor air is excellent depending on what kind of plant they are. However, if you do not have knowledge of plants, you will not know which plants have excellent air purification effects, and even if you grow them, you will face a problem that withers quickly. Therefore, in this paper, we develop an app that provides users who do not have prior knowledge to store and manage their MBTI and member information in a database using databases and MBTI, and based on this, recommend plant data that fits their preferences with the user and manage their schedules through calendars.

This paper describe the performance of seawater purification, to which living organisms can adapt, and the physical properties of porous concrete with continuous void. Although conventional concrete has been regarded as a destroyer of nature, seawater and air can pass freely through concrete when it is made porous by forming continuous void. This not only enables plants to vegetables, but also makes it possible for microscopic animals and plants, including bacteria, to attach to and inhabit uneven surface as well as internal voids when the concrete is provided in a natural seawater area or seawater side area. As a result, porous concrete using recycled aggregate improved the performance of seawater purification. In this study, The performance of seawater purification of porous concrete using recycled aggregate analyzed by T-P, T-N.
