접촉각 측정방법을 이용한 SiC 단결정의 극성표면 판별에 있어 자연산화막의 영향 (Effect of Native Oxide Layer on the Water Contact Angle to Determine the Surface Polarity of SiC Single Crystals)

  • The wettability of silicon carbide (SiC) crystal, which has 6H-SiC and 4H-SiC regions prepared using the physical vapor transport (PVT) method, is quantitatively analyzed using dispensed deionized (DI) water droplets. Regardless of the polytypes in SiC, the average of five contact angle measurements showed a difference of about 6° between the Si-face and C-face. The contact angle on the Si-face (C-face) is measured after the removal of the native oxide using BOE (6:1), and revealed a significant decrease of the contact angle from 74.9° (68.4°) to 47.7° (49.3°) and from 75.8° (70.2°) to 51.6° (49.5°) for the 4H-SiC and 6H-SiC regions, respectively. The contact angle of the Si-face recovered over time during room temperature oxidation in air; in contrast, that of the C-face did not recover to the initial value. This study shows that the contact angle is very sensitive to SiC surface polarity, specific surface conditions, and process time. Contact angle measurements are expected to be a rapid way of determining the surface polarity and wettability of SiC crystals.

아임계 및 초임계 탄화수소 연료 액적의 기화 특성 연구 (Vaporization of Hydrocarbon Fuel Droplet in Supercritical Environments)

  • 주위 압력변화에 따른 공기중에 놓인 탄화수소 연료 액적의 기화에 관한 수치적 연구를 일차원 기화모델을 사용하여 수행하였다. 주위 압력은 대기압에서 임계압력이상까지 변화시켰다. 높은 압력에서 실기체 효과를 고려하기 위해 수정 Soave-Redich-Kwong상태 방정식을 사용하였으며 임계온도 근방과 초임계상태에서는 비이상기체 열역학 및 전달 물성치를 고려하였다. 계산의 타당성을 위해 계산 결과와 사토의 실험결과를 비교하였고 비교적 잘 일치하였다. 아임계 온도에서는 압력증가에 따라 액적수명은 증가하였으며 초임계온도에서는 압력증가에 따라 액적수명은 감소하였다. 고압에서는 액상에 용해되는 질소의 용해도는 무시할 수 없고 온도와 압력이 높을수록 용해도는 증가하였다.

Ti$_3$SiC$_2$의 고온산화거동 (High Temperature Oxidation Behavior of Ti$_3$SiC$_2$)

  • Ti$_3$SiC$_2$ material was synthesized via the powder metallurgical route, and oxidation tested between 900 and $1200^{\circ}C$ in air for up to 100 hr. The oxidation of $Ti_3$$SiC_2$ material resulted in the formation of $TiO_2$and $SiO_2$, accompanying the evolution of CO or $CO_2$ gases from the initial stage of oxidation. The oxidation resistance of $Ti_3$$SiC_2$ mainly owes the protectiveness of highly stoichiometric $SiO_2$. During the initial stage of oxidation, the dominant reaction was the inward transport of oxygen into the matrix. As the oxidation progressed, an outer $TiO_2$ layer and an inner ( $TiO_2$ + $SiO_2$) mixed layer formed. Between these layers and inside the oxide scale, numerous fine voids formed. Numerous, fine oxide grains formed at $900^{\circ}C$ developed into the outer coarse $TiO_2$ grains and an inner fine ($TiO_2$ + $SiO_2$) mixed grains at the higher temperatures. The oxidation resistance of$ Ti_3$SiC$_2$ progressively deteriorated as the oxidation temperature increased, forming thick scales above $1000^{\circ}C$. The outer coarse $TiO_2$ grains formed above $1100^{\circ}C$ grew rapidly mainly along (211).

  • Masan barber was situated in S.Korean southern central coast. And it is contributing greatly in S.korea's economy development to international trading port of Heaven's blessing that possess natural, geographical situation. Also, because there are Masan free tax area and chanwon heavy industrial complex, sachon air industrial complex etc. on back, it is important permanency in our country. Specially, because inland transport routes such as southern highway, Guma highway and national road system are developed well, the importance is very high. Masan harbor 1899.05.01 be that opened, the 1st and 2nd (central pier) was build 1938∼1944 year, and the 3rd pier was 1973∼1978 year. the 4th pier was 1974∼1983 year, 5th pier was 1984∼1988, 6th pier (west pier) was 1985∼1992 year. it was developed over 100 years. But, it did great many harbor and bay development of last 100 yens but research about coastline change and seashore reclamation is insufficient. Therefore, this research executed research about coastline change of Masan bay of last 100 years, In this study, we analyzed aerial photographs and tide data for the past 100 years using digital aerial photo analysis and GIS techniques for each 3-year interval. We abstracted beach DEM (digital elevation model) and ortho aerial photographs, and conducted a space analysis. As a result, we were able to identify changes in the area As a result, we drew 10 years cycle coastline change of Masan bay. and we can detect bay coastal line change and calculate refill rate.

거시적 교통류모형을 이용한 고속도로 돌발상황에 따른 탄소배출량 산정연구 (Estimating Carbon Emissions due to Freeway Incidents by Using Macroscopic Traffic Flow Models)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to develop a methodology for estimating additional carbon emissions due to freeway incidents. METHODS : As our country grows, our highway policy has mainly neglected the environmental and social sectors. However, with the formation of a national green growth keynote and an increase in the number of people interested in environmental and social issues, problems related to social issues, such as traffic accidents and congestion, and environmental issues, such as the impact of air pollution caused by exhaust gases that are emitted from highway vehicles, are beginning to be discussed. Accordingly, studies have been conducted on a variety of environmental aspects in the field of road transport, and for the quantitative calculation of greenhouse gas emissions, using various methods. However, in order to observe the effects of carbon emissions, microscopic simulations must use many difficult variables such as cost, analysis time, and ease of analysis process. In this study, additional greenhouse gas emissions that occur because of highway traffic accidents were classified by type (incident handling time, number of lanes blocked, freeway level of service), and the annual additional emissions based on incidents were calculated. According to the results, congestion length and emissions tend to increase with an increase in incident clearance time, number of occupied lanes, and worsening level of service. Using this data, we analyzed accident data on the Gyeong-bu Expressway (Yang-Jae IC - Osan IC) for a year. RESULTS : Additional greenhouse gas emissions that occur because of highway traffic accidents were classified by type (incident handling time, number of lanes blocked, freeway level of service) and annual additional emissions caused by accidents were calculated. CONCLUSIONS : In this study, a methodology for estimating carbon emissions due to freeway incidents was developed that incorporates macroscopic flow models. The results of the study are organized in the form of a look-Up table that calculates carbon emissions rather easily.

무선전파막을 이용한 시계 비행항공기의 비행위험지역 회피용 경보장치의 설계 (Design of a Warning System Using Radio Beacon Signal to Avoid Hazardous Area in VFR Mode)

  • 지역 여건상 ILS나 VOR/DME 등 항행안전시설을 이용한 착륙이 곤란한 활주로에서는 조종사가 직접 눈으로 확인하여 착륙하는 선회비행방식이 이용되고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 김해공항 북측 활주로와 같이 항행안전시설을 설치하지 못하는 공항에 대하여 선회착륙하는 항공기가 악천후등으로 최종적으로 선회해야하는 지점을 발견하지 못하고 통과하여 사고가 발생하는 것을 막기 위하여 선회지점을 벗어난 지점에 무선전파의 전파막, 즉 마커신호로 조종사에게 위험신호를 알려주는 역할을 하는 장비를 개발하기로 한다. 이 경우 항공기에는 별도의 장비를 갖추지 않고 조종사가 별도의 조작을 하지 않아도 경보가 울리도록 하여 조종사의 부담을 최대한으로 줄여야 한다. 이를 만족하기 위해서 ILS의 구성장비로 사용중인 마커를 기반으로 하고, 현재 마커에 사용중인 송신기의 주파수 및 변조방식등을 그대로 이용하고, 변조주파수 및 신호만을 바꾸고, 안테나를 특수한 형태로 개발하기로 한다. 또한 안테나의 방사패턴의 크기를 시뮬레이션하고, 경보후의 비행경로를 계산하여 시스템의 유효성을 검증한다.

인천광역시 지역물류정책의 우선순위에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Priority of the Local-Logistics Policy in the Incheon Metropolitan City)

  • 본 연구는 Fuzzy AHP와 IPA 분석을 이용하여 인천광역시 지역물류계획의 주요정책 가중치를 도출하고 현재수준을 포트폴리화 하여 향후 정책방향의 패러다임을 제시하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다. 전문가와의 Indepth-Interview를 통해 가중치와 현재수준에 대해 가능한 객관적으로 도출할 수 있도록 노력하였다. IPA 분석결과 국제물류거점 조기확충, 광역간선도로망구축, 인천지역교육기관의 전문화 및 특성화는 현상유지 및 지속적인 강화할 필요가 있으며, 지역물류유통단지조성사업, 항만배후수송망 개선, 인천항 항만배후단지 활성화,등은 개선보다는 현재의 수준을 유지할 필요가 있다, 인천시물류정보DB활성화, 화물차전용차로, 전용출입로 도입, 종합물류지원센터 설립 등 은 점진적인 투자나 개선이 필요하다. 물류 R&D사업발굴 및 역량강화, 항공물류전문기업 도입과 네트워크구축사업은 중점적인 예산투입과 관심등 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 인천시 물류정책이 기반시설이나 항만물류에 전통적으로 중점을 두고 있으며, 앞으로 글로벌 물류거점도시가 되기 위해서는 현재정책을 유지하면서 항공물류전문기업 도입과 물류정보화사업에도 관심을 가져야 할 것이다.

Review of Soil Structure Quantification from Soil Images

  • Soil structure plays an important role in ecological system, since it controls transport and storage of air, gas, nutrients and solutions. The study of soil structure requires an understanding of the interrelations and interactions between the diverse soil components at various levels of organization. Investigations of the spatial distribution of pore/particle arrangements and the geometry of soil pore space can provide important information regarding ecological or crop system. Because of conveniences in image analyses and accuracy, these investigations have been thrived for a long time. Image analyses from soil sections through impregnated blocks of undisturbed soil (2 dimensional image analyses) or from 3 dimensional scanned soils by computer tomography allow quantitative assessment of the pore space. Image analysis techniques can be used to classify pore types and quantify pore structure without inaccurate or hard labor in laboratory. In this paper, the last 50 years of the soil image analyses have been presented and measurements on various soil scales were introduced, as well. In addition to history of image analyses, a couple of examples for soil image analyses were displayed. The discussion was made on the applications of image analyses and techniques to quantify pore/soil structure.

THE ACTIVITIES OF AMALGAMATED TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES IN THE CONTEXT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE ENVIRONMENT: THE EXPERIENCE OF UKRAINE AND THE EU STATES

  • The relevance of the study implies the need to explain the main determinants of environmental policy, allowing countries to converge on a common working basis. The purpose of the research is to explore ways in which the environmental aspects of EU regions and territories can be shaped to apply to domestic environmental policy. A total of 997 representatives from the Ukrainian UTCs, who are involved in local environmental policy, participated in the survey. Results of the research. A hierarchy of regional environmental policy objectives has been identified. Three key principles of eco-policy development have been distinguished. The means of the innovative approach strategy implementation have been outlined (formation of the regional market of environmental services; organization of interaction between environmental agencies and market structures; establishment of environmental funds which finance environmental activities; implementation of the "collateral return" system; formation of a system of benefits and loans to enterprises that successfully implement the environmental policy). The means of the prognostic approach implementation strategy to the development of the region's environmental policy have been determined (the use of an orderly and successful long-term strategy of economic development of the region; obligatory consideration in the mechanisms strategy aimed at improvement of environmental management system of the region, interbranch impact of the projects implemented on the region's ecological situation; taking into consideration the economic and geographical peculiarities of the region, the necessary infrastructure, issues of the territorial location of the large enterprises in the region and their impact on the environment). The means of the traditional approach strategy implementation have been outlined (activity programs focused on solution of specific problems, rather than on the implementation of measures for environmental restoration and enhancement; nature conservation problems have interbranch, interdepartmental character due to unity of the region's ecosystem; tracking complexity of changing conditions (water basins, woodlands, air-mass transport), regional boundaries generally do not coincide with natural ecosystems boundaries). The practical significance of the study lies in providing recommendations for the implementation of certain aspects of Ukrainian UTC's environmental policy.

글로벌 디자인 연구동향에 대한 키워드 네트워크 분석 연구 (1999~2018) (Keyword Network Analysis on Global Research Trend in Design (1999~2018))

  • 본 논문의 목적은 1999년에서 2018년 사이 발간된 디자인 관련 연구 논문들을 취합하고, 이들 논문들을 대상으로 키워드 네트워크 분석을 시행함으로써, 최근 20년간의 디자인분야 글로벌 연구의 특성과 동향을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 스코퍼스에 등재된 디자인 분야의 22개 학술지로 부터 3,569개 연구 논문들을 취합하였으며, 저자 키워드와 인덱스 키워드를 활용하여 키워드 네트워크 모델을 설정하였다. 이들로부터 자주 사용되는 키워드들을 분석하였으며, 최근 20년을 4개 기간으로 나누어 각 기간 별로 중심성(연결, 매개) 지표를 산정, 키워드 네트워크 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 디자인관련 주요 연구들과 디자인 관련 융합연구들의 특성과 동향이 키워드 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 정량적으로 설명될 수 있음을 보여주었다. 본 연구의 결과는 기술발전이 가져올 디자인 여건의 변화를 감지하고 적시성 있는 디자인 관련 연구를 추진하기 위한 자료로 활용 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
