This study aims to explore the 'affective value' of records. Traditionally, records have been evaluated as having evidence value, information value, and artificial value. However, the 'affective turn' in the humanities and social sciences, which began in the 1990s, calls for discussion on the affective value of records. The overseas archive academia is in full swing discussing the emotional value of records after the 'affective turn'. However, there is no emotional discussion on records in the domestic archive academia. This study first conducts theoretical discussions to overcome these domestic limitations and explore the emotional value of archives in earnest. Following the theoretical discussion, a specific case will be dealt with next. As a representative storage of affect, which records the pain, sadness, and condolences of the domestic disaster era, this study investigates the record management case of the 4.16 Memory Storage. The Ferry Sewol disaster, which provided a dramatic opportunity to witness the unexpected ripple effect of affect in Korea, and the 4.16 Memory Storage as a recording activity, can be seen as a representative example of affective recording of the pain and sadness of survivors of the trauma incident. It will capture the differentiation of affet recording, which is different from the record management practice, and demonstrate empirically how this differentiation is implemented from collection to evaluation and service through the '4.16 Memory Storage'.

This paper argues how the concept of melodrama can be articulated with the Affect Theory and Posthumanism in relation to animal or environment representation which have emerged as the new topics of the recent era. The argument will be made through the discussion of Agustin Zarzosa's book, Refiguring Melodrama in Film and Television: Captitve Affects, Elastic Sufferings, Vicarious Objects. Using a genealogical approach, the book revisits the notion of mode, affect, suffering (hysteria), and excess which have been dealt with in the existing studies of melodrama. In chapter one, he broadens the concept of melodrama as a mode into the means of redistribution of suffering across the whole society in the mechanism of the duo of evil and virtue. It is the opposition of Brooks's argument in which melodrama functions as the means of proving the distinction between evil and virtue. Chapter two focuses on the fact that melodrama is an elastic system of specification rather than a system of signification, with the perspective of Deleuzian metaphysics. Through the analysis of Home from the Hill (Vincente Minnelli, 1959), this chapter pays attention to an 'affect' generated by the encounters between the bodies and the Mise-en-Scène as a flow not of a meaning but of an affect. Chapter three argues that melodrama should reveal an unloved (woman's) suffering, opposing the discussion on the role of melodrama as the recovery of moral order. Safe (Todd Haynes, 1995), dealing with female suffering caused by the industrial and social environment, elaborates on the arguments on melodrama in relation to female hysteria with ecocritical standpoints. The rest of the two chapters discusses the role of melodrama for the limitation and extension of the notion of the human through 'animal' and 'posthuman' melodrama. It argues that the concept of melodrama as 'excess' and 'sacrifice' blurs the boundary between human and inhuman. In summary, although the author Zarzosa partly agrees with Peter Brook's notion of mode, affect and sufferings,he elaborates the concept of melodrama, by articulating philosophical arguments such as Deleuzianism, feminism, and posthumanism (Akira Lippit and Carry Wolf) with the melodrama. Thefore, Zarzosa challenges the concepts of melodrama led by Brooks, which had been canonical in the field.

Northeast Asia accounts for half of the world game market, worth $ 152.1 billion, and has abundant growth potential. Early e-sports in Korea could be formed through the distribution of affects of active participation of gamers and fans. Since then, the establishment of a corporate team has continued, securing stability as an industry. However, mediation rights, intellectual property disputes, and game manipulations continue, leading to a massive escaped of early fandom and the collapse of StarCraft-based ecosystems.

Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri find in women's caring/domestic labor a potential for producing affects, relationships, and forms of communication and cooperation in the family and in the community. Caring/domestic labor in their view is biopolitical in that it directly produces social relationship and forms of life. In this way, they contributed in deconstructing the fixed idea that women's caring/domestic labors are confined to the private domain rather than public one. The literary representations of women's caring/ domestic labor, however, have tended to emphasize its repetitive and confining attributes to private domains and the accompanying physical and mental alienation. Doris Lessing's "To Room Nineteen" and James Joyce's "Eveline" are the examples. "To Room Nineteen," an indirect manifestation of Doris Lessing's position as a Communist, criticizes the sexual distinction of domestic labor under Capitalistic ethic and describes the possible extinction of women's subjects who internalize the capitalistic ideology of bourgeois middle class nuclear family. "Eveline," the fourth work of Joyce's Dubliners, is another example to show the negative result of internalization of Catholic orthodox in which women are obligated to care and sacrifice specially through domestic and caring labor.

In this paper I proved that the intention of the movie is to put the reader at the crossroads of choice, which is still in progress, in this context confirmed that the storytelling is very enlightening and popular. This was demonstrated by the thing of making a story the charactor's Affects process itself in the story and a change in the point of view from witness to participant in the discourse. Jang Hoon seeks to reconstruct the Gwangju Democratic Movement through Kim Man-seop, a character who now lives here with trauma. Faced with a sympathetic message from a common and familiar figure around us, such as a taxi driver, it should be said that the goal was to get the audience to accept past gruesome incidents as part of us. The film uses Affects as a way to make the 1980s "Them" become "we" and replace the 37-year-old incident with our modern story. Soon, the film's intention is to turn Gwangju's Democratic movement from "There, Their Story" to "Here, Our Story." That's why popular storytelling was needed and concluded that it was the popularity the film acquired.

In the present work a finite element formulation using dynamic explicit time integration scheme is used for numerical analysis of auto-body panel stamping processes. The lumping scheme is employed for the diagonal mass matrix and linearizing dynamic formulation. A contact scheme is developed by combining the skew boundary condition and direct trial-and-error method. In this work, for economic analysis the faster punch velocity and the mass scaling method are introduced. To investigate the effects of punch velocity and mass scaling, the various values of punch velocity and the various mass scalings are used for numerical analysis. Computations are carried out for analysis of complicated auto-body panel stamping processes such as forming of an oil pan and a fuel tank.

Blepharoptosis is the state that upper eyelid sagges, palpebal fissure becomes narrow due to disorder of a levator palpebrae superioris or innervation. It affects not only the physical vision but also mental shrink. In the view of oriental medicine, there are various causes, among them mainly cause is the deficiency of spleen Gi. The other hand, we treated a patient who suffered from blepharoptosis(with headache, exotropia, dizziness) differentiate from stagnation of Gi(energy) and blood stasis with Sungihwalhyeoltang(順氣活血湯) mostly. After about 40days of Sungihwalhyeoltang(順氣活血湯) centered treatment, acupunture, we observed an improvement Based on this experience, it is considered that stagnation of Gi(energy) and blood stasis can bring about blepharoptosis.

The spatio-temporal abundance pattern of algae in Lake Paldang from 2002 to 2004 was investigated. The concentration of chlorophyll a representing algal biomass had fluctuated intensively throughout the year. Among three years, the highest algal biomass was shown in 2002, and typical growth peak of concentration of chlorophyll a was occurred in spring and autumn. There had been frequent rainfall in spring drought period in 2003 and it resulted in the decrease of the algal biomass. The distribution pattern of four algal groups on the surface water of Lake Paldang showed different abundance by season and by water area. In particular, different algal growth characteristics by water areas were observed. Influences of various environmental parameters on algal abundance in four water areas of Lake Paldang were analyzed statistically. From the results of Peason correlation analysis, it was understood that the kinds and affects of environmental parameters were different according to water areas and seasons. Based on the factors analysis of environmental parameters on the concentration of chlorophyll a, stepwise regression models whose independent variables were the factors produced by factor analysis and dependent variable was the concentration of chlorophyll a were derived by water areas and seasons. As a whole, factors related with organics and photosynthesis were revealed to have high affects to algal abundance, whereas limiting nutrients such as phosphorus and nitrogen showed little affect in Lake Paldang.

The study explores how the discourses on game addiction, which emphasize diligence and sincerity for labor and self-control, and professional gamers, who are trapped in pleasures of playing games in the virtual world, cohabit in Korean society. Progamers have grown from entertainment industry enlarged along with the current of the economic 'postmodernization,' mentioned by Hardt and Negri(1997; 2001; 2004). Hardt and Negri have elaborated on the economic postmodernization with the notion 'immaterial labor,' which blurs the line between economic (instrumental) actions and humane qualities as well as pertains to the potentiality of resistant practices against the power of modernity. From this perspective, progamers' labor is understood as 'affective labor,' an aspect of immaterial labor with the potentiality of resistance. However, meticulous examination of progamers' labor in this study reveals that progamers control their affects systematically, strategically, and rationally for their materialistic success. Progamers, while performing postmodern mode of labor, are subordinate to modern work ethics, which lead them to lose the potentiality of resistance. Consequently, while the discourses on game addiction and progamers outwardly form sharp contrast to each other, the two indeed are placed in tandem in the vein of modern work ethics of Protestantism.

In the contemporary American cinematic landscape, there is a distinctive tendency to depict the disturbing ways in which characters with brain damages perceive, remember, and think about the world. Despite its attempts to examine the socio-political implications of these characters' subjectivities, the previous scholarship on this trend of film was limited in being either too pessimistically deterministic or too euphorically optimistic. Critically reading neuroscientific discourses on the brain-damaged subject from the perspective of Giorgio Agamben's critique of biopolitics, this paper explores how the contemporary American cinema of the impaired brain attempts to mediate the neurologically inexplicable affects of those subjects who are in the neurological state of exception and to express their experiences of a becoming-nonhuman. By closely reading Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan and Alejandro $Gonz{\acute{a}}lez$ $I{\tilde{n}}{\acute{a}}rritu^{\prime}s$ Birdman in this regard, I show how the two films, by employing different sets of cinematic free indirect techniques, express the neurologically impaired subject's affective experience of a becoming-nonhuman animal in different ways, and thereby to a more or less extent act as 'profaned' neuro-biopolitical apparatuses.
