지역사회개발과 사회교육을 위한 개발커뮤니케이션 접근 (Development Communication Approaches to Community Development and Adult Education)

  • The purposes of this exploratory study were to interrelate the scholastic discipline of the ‘development communication’ into ‘community development’ and ‘adult education’ in terms of interests, views and theoretical backgrounds of these fields of social sciences; and to draw some implications for developing scholastic interactions among these fields to pursue common social changes of human society. Development communications provide opportunities to set goals, to decide contents, and to utilize communication media in developmental efforts. Contemporary trends of development communication, community development and adult education are concerned with indigenous, two-way, bottom-up and people-centered communication from exogenous, one-way, top-down and institution-centered communication of the past. Multidisciplinary approaches to communication concepts and methodology may increase the potentials of community development and adult education in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. Some of the development communication approaches such as traditional and folk media approach. new media or ICT(information & communication technology) approach, participatory communication for development approach, communication support development approach and mass media approach may be applicable for community development and adult education. Better understanding on development communication approaches will be needed for the adult educators as well as community development practitioners.

  • This paper attempted to describe the relationships among agricultural extension, rural adult education and community development, which has developed as a disciplinary major (ag. extension in 1971, rural adult education in 1990 and community development in 1997) at the College of Agriculture and Life Science, Seoul National University. Reviewing the related literatures and observing the practical rural development in the Republic of Korea, conclusion was made in such a way that agricultural extension - rural adult education - community development be natural series of disciplinary development process as well as practical development in industrializing and urbanizing country like the Republic of Korea.

아버지됨(Fathering) 경험이 남성의 성인기 발달에 미치는 의미 탐색 (The Impact on Adult Men's Development through Fathering Experiences)

  • Using interviewing methods, this study was able to identify how fathering impacted the development of adult fathers between the ages of 28 and 45 through 1 to 2 hours. The subjects were 46 middle-class adult men's from the ages of 28 and 45. Twenty of the subjects had infants under the age of 36 months, thirteen had preschool children, 37 months to preschool, and the remaining fathers had primary school aged children. Results are as follows: First, fathering experiences impacted the development of self-identify, sense of intimacy, and sense of generativity during adulthood. Second, fathering experiences impacted the men's establishment of 'becoming-themselves.' Last, fathering experiences impacted the development of men's maturity.

숫자인식을 이용한 성인인증기 개발 (Development of Adult Authentication System using Numeral Recognition)

  • This paper describes the development of adult authentication system using numerical recognition. Nowadays, the automats are very popular and they are dealing in many item suck as coffee, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks and cigarettes, etc. Among these items, some are harmful to the minor, and so the sale of these to the minor must be prohibited. In relation to this, adult authentication system is required to be equipped to the automat which deals in items harmful to minor. According to these demands, we develop the adult authentication system. This system capture the image of a residence certificate card by the identification card-reader, and recognize its numbers and identify it as adult or minor by main computer, where numeral recognition is accomplished by using image processing methods and neural network recognizer. The characteristic test of the system is carried out, and its result reveals that the system has the error of less than 1%. Thus, It is thought that the system can be used for identifying adult in the automats.

담배 가공 원료엽의 궐련벌레 생육과 우화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of processed tobacco leaves for the development and emergence of cigarette beetle)

  • This study was conducted to determine the effects of processed tobacco leaves on the development, adult emergence and body weight of the cigarette beetle, Lasioderma serricorne Fabricius) (Coleoptera: Anobiidae) is serious insect pest of tobacco leaves and cigarette during storage. Developmental time, adult emergence rate and adult weight of the cigarette beetle, were evaluated on the cured tobacco and burley tobacco leaves at $30{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ with $70{\pm}5$ % RH under 12L:12D. The developmental time on all of the flue-cured tobacco leaves was about 61 days, but in the only CD3W and CD4TR grade burley tobacco, the developmental times ranged from 70 days to 74 days. Among the flue-cured tobacco leaves, the highest beetle emergence rate was 123 % on the CD3L grade, and the lowest was on the AB4OR grade. Adult body weights of the cigarette beetle reared on flue-cured tobacco were about 2.11~2.46 mg, and on the only CD3W and CD4TR grade burley tobacco were about 1.86~1.96 mg. Among the flue-cured tobacco leaves, the highest adult body weight(2.46 mg) of cigarette beetle was observed on the B1O grade flue-cured tobacco, whereas the lowest adult weight(2.11 mg) was observed on the CD4L grade flue-cured tobacco. The adult weight of cigarette beetle reared on whole meal was 2.04mg.

Comparison of Plasma Proteome Expression between the Young and Mature Adult Pigs

  • Here, we present an approach of blood plasma proteome profiling and their comparisons between the young and the adult pigs as prerequisite for the identification of bio-markers related to the health conditions, growth performance and meat quality. To profile the proteome in porcine plasma, blood samples were collected from 19 young piglets and 20 adult male barrows and the plasma was retrieved. Then, protein profiling was initiated using one and two-dimensional electrophoresis. Proteins were spotted and then identified by MALDI-TOF-TOF and LC-MS-MS. In the results, more than thirty-six and twenty eight protein spots were selected in young piglets and adult pigs, respectively and twenty three proteins were identified. The proteome profile images were compared between those ones using Image Master Version 7.0. The image of expressed proteome showed that most of proteins from plasma of young piglet separated clearly and concentrated in 2DE display compared to ones from adult. Image analysis in detail was carried out to look for the specific proteins related to age progression. It demonstrated that the characteristics of proteome expression could be distinct to their age stages. Further investigations needed to proceed to understand the age dependent change of protein conformation and biological meaning of those differences in proteome expression between young and mature adult pigs.

공공도서관 청소년 프로그램의 유형별 특성과 발전 방안 연구 (A Study on the Typological Characteristics of Young Adults Programs in Public Libraries and Its Solutions for Development)

  • 이 연구는 공공도서관 청소년 프로그램의 현황을 조사하여 문제점을 분석하고 개선 과제를 탐색하였다. 1개 특별시와 6개 광역시의 공공도서관 중 2009년 8월 31부터 9월 4일까지 청소년 프로그램이 실시된 86개관을 대상으로 조사하였다. 이 연구에서는 청소년프로그램을 참여형, 체험형, 강좌형, 콘테스트형, 기관협력형 등 5가지 유형으로 구분하여 각 유형별 특성과 문제점을 분석하였다. 그리고 공공도서관의 청소년 프로그램의 활성화를 저해하는 제반 환경적 문제를 점검하고 발전 방안을 제안하였다.

콩명나방(Maruca vitrata) (나비목: 포충나방과) 발육과 산란에 미치는 온도의 영향 (Effects of Temperature on the Development and Fecundity of Maruca vitrata (Lepidoptera: Crambidae))

  • 콩명나방은 콩과작물 특히 팥을 가해하는 해충으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 콩명나방의 생물적 특징을 알아보기 위해 발육단계별 발육기간, 성충의 수명과 번식능력을 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31, 34℃ 항온조건에서 조사하였다. 알은 모든 항온조건에서 부화하였고 유충은 16~31℃ 온도조건에서 성공적으로 성충까지 발육을 완료하였다. 알의 발육기간은 31℃까지 온도가 상승할수록 짧아지다가 이후 온도에서 길어지는 경향을 보였다. 유충, 번데기의 발육기간과 성충수명은 온도가 상승할수록 감소하였다. 콩명나방 발육단계별 발육 최저, 최고 한계는 LRF와 SSI모델을 이용하여 계산하였고 발육영점온도와 유효적산온일도는 선형회귀분석을 이용하였다. 1령 유충 부화부터 성충출현까지의 발육영점온도와 유효적산온일도는 12.8℃와 280.8DD였다. SSI모델을 이용하여 추정한 부화부터 성충출현까지 발육최저 및 최고온도는 14.2℃과 31.9℃였고 이들간의 차이 즉 발육적정온도범위는 17.7℃였다. 온도와 관련된 콩명나방 성충의 생존, 수명, 산란기간, 산란수 자료들을 이용하여 산란모형을 작성하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 온도발육모형과 산란모형은 야외에서 콩명나방의 개체군동태를 이해하고 콩과작물의 종합적인 해충군관리체계 확립에 기여할 것으로 보인다.

  • 어리팥나방은 콩을 가해하는 Matsumuraeses속 해충으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 어리팥나방의 개체군동태를 예측하기 위하여 발육단계별 발육기간, 성충의 수명과 번식능력을 10, 13, 19, 22, 25, 28, 31℃ 항온조건에서 조사하였다. 알은 조사된 모든 항온조건에서 부화하였고, 유충은 10, 13, 31℃를 제외한 온도조건에서 성공적으로 성충으로 발육하였다. 발육단계별 발육기간과 성충 수명은 온도가 상승할수록 감소하였다. 어리팥나방 발육단계별 발육영점온도와 유효적산일은 선형회귀방법을 이용하여 추정하였고 발육최저, 최고한계는 LRF와 SSI모델을 이용하여 계산하였다. 1령 유충 부화부터 성충출현까지의 발육영점온도와 유효적산일은 10.2℃와 492.04DD였다. SSI모델을 이용한 부화부터 성충출현까지 발육최저 및 최고온도는 16.7℃과 29.1℃였고 이들간의 차이 즉 발육적정온도범위는 12.4℃였다. 온도와 관련된 어리팥나방 성충의 생존과 산란특성을 이용하여 산란모형을 작성하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 온도발육모형과 산란모형은 어리팥나방의 개체군모형 작성과 콩 작물의 종합적인 해충군관리체계 확립에 기여할 것으로 보인다.

성인 발열 환자를 위한 근거기반 간호 지침 개발 및 평가 (Development and Evaluation of an Evidence-Based Nursing Protocol for Fever Management in Adult Patients)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to develop, to implement and evaluate a fever management nursing protocol for adult patients. Methods: This study was conducted through seven steps following both the guideline development procedures of the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network and the Model of the Asan Medical Center Evidence-Based Practice, as follows: 1) identifying the clinical needs and composition of the protocol development group; 2) identifying and evaluating the evidence; 3) assessing the level of evidence and grading recommendations; 4) forming a protocol; 5) evaluating the protocol using an expert group validity test and identifying barriers to its implementation; 6) protocol development; and 7) evaluation of practical improvement measures following implementation of the protocol. Results: The evidence-based protocol for fever management in adult patients was completed and includes five domains and 15 items. The protocol had good content validity (CVI=.90) and nursing practice could be improved after implementation of the protocol. Conclusion: This nursing protocol can be used as a guide for nursing in febrile adult patients. We recommend that further guidelines be updated in an interdisciplinary manner in order to foster local adaptation of the best clinical practices.
