여성 한부모 및 양부모 가정의 모-자녀 의사소통과 청소년 자녀의 심리적 소외감 (The Relationship between Mother-Adolescent Communication and Adolescents' Alienation in Single Mother-Headed Family and Two-Parent family)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship mother-adolescent communication and adolescents' alienation in both single mother-headed family and two-parent family. The subjects were 548 middle and high school students who were 82 single mother-headed family's adolescents and 466 two-parent family's adolescents in Keoungbok. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, t-test, standard multiple- and hierarchical multiple regression(using SPSS 12.1). Major findings were as follows: (1) The single mother-headed family's adolescents were perceived less positive mother-adolescent communication and higher alienation than two-parent family's adolescents. (2) The adolescents' alienation was associated with mother-adolescent communication in both single mother-headed and two-parent family. The less positive parent-adolescent communication, the higher adolescents' alienation. (3) The family structure(single mother-headed or two-parent) was a significant predictor of adolescents' alienation. But when the effect of mother-adolescent communication was controlled, the effect of the family structure became non-significant.

아동학대가 청소년의 비행에 미치는 영향: 또래 소외와 공격성의 매개효과 (The Effects of Child Abuse on Delinquency in Adolescents: The Mediating Effects of Peer Alienation and Aggression)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the dual mediating effects of peer alienation and aggression in the relation between child abuse and delinquency in adolescents. Data were collected from 352 junior high school students living in Jeonbuk from October 2021 to December 2021. This study used a structured self-administered questionnaire to collect the data. In order to analyze the data, SPSS 26.0 and SPSS Process macro 4.0 program were used. The results showed that child abuse had statistically significant positive effect on delinquency via peer alienation. Also, child abuse had statistically significant positive effect on delinquency via aggression. In addition, child abuse had statistically significant positive effect on delinquency via peer alienation and aggression. Therefore, the dual mediating effects of peer alienation and aggression were verified. Based on the study results, implications for preventing adolescents' delinquency and suggestions for future study were discussed.

청소년의 소외감과 스트레스 반응의 관계에서 스마트미디어 중독과 행동활성화체계(BAS)의 조절된 매개효과 (Moderated Mediating Effects of Smart Media Addiction Caused by Behavioral Activation System (BAS) on Adolescents' Alienation and Stress Responses)

  • 본 연구에서는 청소년의 소외감과 스트레스 반응 간의 관계를 확인하고, 소외감과 스트레스 반응을 스마트 미디어 중독이 매개하는 모형에서 행동활성화체계(BAS)의 조절효과가 있는지 검증하였다. 참여자는 수도권에 위치한 중·고등학교에 재학하고 있는 361명의 남녀 학생들이다. 조절된 매개효과는 PROCESS Macro 3.5 모델 7로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 청소년의 소외감과 BAS는 스마트미디어 중독이나 스트레스 반응과 정적 상관이 있었으며, 스마트미디어 중독도 스트레스 반응과 정적 상관이 있었다. 스트레스 반응에 대한 조절된 매개효과 분석에서는 소외감과 BAS의 상호작용효과가 유의했으며, 소외감의 조건부 간접효과는 BAS 수준이 매우 낮은 집단에서는 유의하지 않았다. 이런 결과는 소외감을 느끼는 청소년이 스마트미디어 사용에 몰입하여 스트레스 반응을 경험할 가능성이 크다는 것을 시사하며, 그런 영향은 BAS 수준이 높을수록 더 심각하다는 것을 암시한다.

남.여 청소년의 소외감, 우울과 자살생각에 관한 예측모형 (Construction of a Structural Model about Male and Female Adolescents' Alienation, Depression, and Suicidal Thoughts)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to construct a structural model explaining alienation, depression, and suicidal thoughts in male and female adolescents. Method: Data was collected by questionnairs from 204 male and 208 female students selected randomly in high schools in K city Results: This study found that depression was significantly affected by alienation, and was indirectly affected through alienation by school attachment, peer relationships, and academic performance. Suicidal thoughts were greatly affected by depression, and were directly and indirectly influenced by alienation. It was confirmed that alienation turned out to be a important mediating variable, while it had a effect significant on depression and suicidal thoughts. Also there were significant differences in affecting factors among male and female students. Conclusion: Intervention strategies for preventing alienation, depression and suicidal thoughts should be different according to gender in addition, specific nursing intervention plans, including parent education and role training programs, fostering of humanistic and achievement-focused educational environment, peer support programs, and individual counselling, need to be developed and implemented to lessen a feeling of alienation from family and school.

고졸검정고시를 준비하는 학교 밖 청소년들이 지각한 사회적 지지와 진로장벽의 관계 : 소외감의 매개효과 (The Relationship between Perceived Social Support and Career Barriers among Out-of school Adolescents preparing for Qualification Examination for High School Degree: Mediating Effects of Alienation)

  • 최근 들어 학교 밖 청소년들의 수가 증가하고 있으며 이들의 진로문제가 중요한 청소년 문제로 대두되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 고졸검정고시를 준비하는 학교 밖 청소년들이 지각한 진로장벽과 사회적 지지의 유형 및 사회적 지지원 간의 관계를 밝히고, 이들의 지각한 사회적 지지가 소외감을 매개로 하여 진로장벽에 영향을 미치는지를 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 전국 5개 권역의 청소년지원센터 꿈드림(학교 밖 청소년지원센터)과 검정고시 학원의 학교 밖 청소년 207명을 대상으로 사회적지지, 진로장벽, 소외감에 대한 설문을 실시하였다. 또한 상관분석과 회귀분석과 Sobel test를 활용하여 변인간의 관계와 소외감의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 그 결과, 지각된 사회적 지지는 진로장벽, 소외감과 유의한 부적상관이 있었으며, 소외감과 진로장벽은 유의한 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 진로장벽과 소외감은 사회적지지 중에서도 부모의 지지와 평가적 지지와 가장 높은 부적상관을 보였다. 또한 소외감은 부모지지 및 교사 지지와 진로장벽 간의 관계를 완전매개 하였으며, 친구지지와 진로장벽 간의 관계를 부분매개 하였다. 소외감은 정보적, 물질적, 평가적, 정서적 사회적 지지의 모든 유형과 진로장벽 간의 관계를 완전매개 하였다. 이는 고졸 검정고시를 준비하는 학교 밖 청소년들의 경우 부모 및 교사, 친구들이 제공하는 여러 유형의 사회적 지지를 향상하여 소외감을 낮춰줌으로써 진로장벽을 낮춰갈 수 있다는 것을 시사한다.

과잉양육행동과 또래소외가 중학생의 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향: 스마트폰 의존경향성의 매개효과 및 성별에 따른 다집단분석 (The Effects of Over-Parenting Behavior and Peer-Alienation on Adolescents' School Adjustment: The Mediating of Smartphone Dependency and Focus on Multi Group Analysis between Boys and Girls)

  • This study investigates the effects of over-parenting behavior and peer-alienation on adolescents' school adjustment and explores the mediating effects of smartphone dependency on the above relations. The subjects were 1,882 first grade students in middle school selected from the 7th year data of the 2010 Korea Children and Youth Panel Survey (2010 KCYPS). Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation, structural equational models, and Sobel test with SPSS 21.0 and Amos 18.0. The findings were as follows. First, there was no significant difference in the school adjustment according to gender. However, boys were higher in the perception of over-parenting behavior and peer-alienation, and girls were higher in smartphone dependency. Second, peer-alienation and smartphone dependency had negative impacts on the school adjustment. But over-parenting behavior had no significant effect on school adjustment. Third, smartphone dependency played a mediator role between over-parenting behavior and peer-alienation as well as the school adjustment. Fourth, there were no significant differences between boys and girls in the relations among over-parenting behavior, peer-alienation, smartphone dependency and school adjustment. But there was a slight difference in influence. The findings of this study suggest that interventions on how to use smartphone correctly are important for improving adolescents' school adjustment. In addition, gender differences in school adjustment should be considered for a better understanding.

신체상과 부모와의 의사소통이 남녀 중학생의 소외감에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Adolescents' Body Image and Communication with Their Parents on the Alienation of Male and Female Middle School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of adolescents' body image and communication with their parents on the alienation of male and female middle school students. The subjects were 253 middle school students. The data were analyzed with SPSS win 18.0 using Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheff$\acute{e}$ test and stepwise regression. The findings showed that problematic communication with the father was the strongest factor in explaining the alienation of male middle school students. The second strongest factor was the middles school student's open communication with the mother, and the third strongest factor was the middle school student's perception of physical health. Unlike male students, open communication with the father was the strongest factor in explaining the alienation of female middle school students. Problematic communication with the mother was the second strongest factor. Perception of physical appearance was the third strongest, and perception of physical health was the fourth strongest factor. Based on the results of the study, implications were discussed in terms of the alienation of male and female middle school students.

그룹음악치료를 통한 과잉-분리가정 청소년의 소외감 감소에 관한 연구 (Study of Group Music Therapy Program on Alienation of Adolescents from Enmeshed or Disengaged Families)

  • 본 연구는 그룹음악치료가 정서적 단절을 경험하는 과잉-분리가정 청소년의 소외감 감소에 미치는 영향을 내용 분석하여 고찰한 사례연구이다. 이를 위해 서울시 소재 S정보산업 고등학교 1학년 148명을 대상으로 가족응집력 검사를 실시한 후, 척도 점수가 10-25점 사이의 과잉-분리가정 청소년 4명을 대상으로 주 2회 7주간 14회기의 그룹음악치료 프로그램을 실시하였다. 대상자들의 음악활동에서 보인 소외감과 관련한 언어적 음악적 표현을 단계별로 내용 분석한 결과, 단계가 진행됨에 따라 자신의 상황과 환경에 대한 불만이 감소하였고 이를 긍정적으로 바라보는 인식의 변화가 있었음이 확인되었다. 또한 중재 후 대화와 토론은 이들이 긍정적이고 일관된 지지를 경험하고 문제에 대한 해결책을 찾는 모델로 활용되어 대상자들에게 삶의 목적과 의미를 부여하게 되었다. 이 같은 결과는 가족 구성원간의 정서적 단절로 인해 무기력과 무의미, 고립감을 경험하는 청소년에게 음악을 매개체로한 그룹치료는 연주과정을 통해 소속감과 성취감을 경험하고 그룹원의 지지와 친밀감을 경험하게 함으로 소외감 감소에 효과적인 중재가 될 수 있음을 시사한다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

부모의 양육 방식, 또래 및 교사 관계가 청소년 성인 매체 중독과 우울에 미치는 영향 (Parents, peer, and teachers relations as predictor of adolescent adult media addiction and depression)

  • This study explored the influence of adolescent depression on adult media addiction by examining Bronfenbrenner's ecological perspective. The ecological perspective is a useful framework to identify the link between youths' interacting subjects in the ecological environment. It can also be used to understand adolescent problems and addiction behaviors. The current study examined the influence of parents, peers, and teachers on adult media addiction and depression with a focus on micro-systems that have the greatest influence on adolescents among various environmental systems. We analyzed 568 participants who reported exposure to adult media. SPSS 20.0 was used to conduct a descriptive analysis of the data; AMOS 19.0 was used to conduct a confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model. The results of study are as follows. First, parental abuse and peer alienation significantly increases depression. Second, peer communication significantly decreases depression. Third, parental monitoring and parental affection significantly decreased adult media addiction. Fourth, parental abuse, peer alienation, and depression significantly increased adult media addiction. This study is meaningful in that it examines the influence of parent, peer, and teacher relationships among adolescents on adult media addiction and depression. This study can be helpful to understand adult media addiction and depression among Korean adolescents.

한국 청소년과 미국 청소년의 부모 애착과 또래 애착 비교 (Comparison of Parent and Peer Attachment of Korean and American Adolescents)

  • The main purpose of this study was to examine whether different cultures affect attachment style by comparing Korean and American adolescents, with a focus on parent attachment and peer attachment. Data were collected from middle and high school students(291 Korean adolescents, 158 American adolescents), and the participants were asked to report on the revised version of the Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment(IPPA-R). The analysis showed significant differences on both parent and peer attachment between Korean and American adolescents: Korean adolescents had more negative relationships with their parents compared to American adolescents. In contrast, Korean adolescents had more positive relations(high trust and communication score, low alienation score) with their friends than American adolescents. More results on the relationships between attachment style and socio-environmental variables were presented, and each of these results could be interpreted by cultural difference. Based on these results, parent-child programs and peer programs that can enrich the relationships that a child has with his or her parents and friends were introduced for researchers, educators, teachers, and counselors. The implications and recommendations for future research were also presented.
