종이 기록물 보수용 안전 테이프 시제품 제조 기술 연구 (Manufacture Technology Development of Paper Mending Tape for Conservation of Archive Document)

  • For manufacturing the tape for repairing archival documents, we tested ten carrier candidates for selecting best material. The tensile strength, transmissivity, stability of deterioration, and processability were determined. Physical-chemical characteristics and stability of deterioration was best to the Hanji. Tensile strength and transmissivity was best in tracing paper, but was low in oil paper, white sketch paper, lyon coat paper. Synthetic carrier to tensile strength showed higher than paper carrier and to the transmissivity showed 2-8 times higher than paper carriers. The tracing paper to the transmissivity was 10 times higher than others. To determine characteristic of conservation to the selected carriers, stability of deterioration was examined at conditions of $90^{\circ}C$ for 15 days. Oil paper and white sketch paper turned strongly yellowish. Cellulopane, Felt, and Cpp film showed stable stability of deterioration, but deformation like wrinkles. PET film and Syntheletic film showed excellent conservation characteristics without any change of exterior. Test of adhesive uniform between carriers and adhesive processability was performed. PET film > Syntheletic film > Tracing Paper in order were determined. Ununiformal adhesive characteristics appeared to Hangi. Accordingly, we thought that Hanji as carrier material might be unsuitable because of low adhesive processability.

UAFM을 이용한 폴리머 박막의 접합 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Adhesive Properties in Polymeric Thin Film by Ultrasonic Atomic Force Microscopy)

  • 본 연구에서는 초음파원자현미경 캔틸레버의 접촉 공진주파수를 이용하여 실리콘 웨이퍼와 나노 스케일의 폴리머 박막 패턴의 접합면 사이에서 나타나는 접합 특성을 UAFM 이미지를 통해 평가하였다. 이를 위해 실리콘 웨이퍼의 표면 처리 공정을 다르게 하였고 리소그래피 공정을 통해 300 nm의 폴리머 박막 패턴을 제작하였다. 제작된 시험편의 접합 상태를 광학현미경 이미지를 통해 서로 비교하였고 나노 스크래치 시험의 임계하중 값을 통하여 나노 패턴의 접합 상태를 검증하였다. 각각의 시험편에 대해 UAFM을 이용하여 $1{\mu}m{\times}1{\mu}m$ 크기의 표면 이미지와 표층부의 접합 상태이미지를 각각 얻었고 접촉 공진주파수의 진폭과 위상의 변화로 인한 접합부의 이미지 콘트라스트 차이로 접합 상태를 평가하였다.

레진 시멘트의 film thickness가 간접 복합 레진 수복물의 접착 효율에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (EFFECT OF FILM THICKNESS OF RESIN CEMENT ON BONDING EFFICIENCY IN INDIRECT COMPOSITE RESTORATION)

  • 본 연구는 여러 레진 시멘트의 film thickness에 따른 상아질과 간접 레진 수복물 간의 미세인장 결합 강도를 측정하고, 각 레진 시멘트의 중합 수축 및 굴곡 강도, 탄성 계수를 비교 분석하며, 접착 계면 및 파단면의 주사전자 현미경 관찰을 통하여 레진 시멘트의 film thickness가 레진 간접 수복물의 접착 효율에 미치는 영향을 평가하고자 시행하였다. 복합 레진형 레진 시멘트인 Variolink II와 Duo-Link, 접착형 레진 시멘트인 Panavia F와 Rely X Unicem의 4가지 레진 시멘트를 사용하였고, 각각의 시멘트를 film thickness에 따라 < $50\;{\mu}m$ (control)의 대조군과 $50\;{\mu}m$ (T50), $100\;{\mu}m$ (T100), $150\;{\mu}m$ (T150)의 실험군으로 나누어 총 16개의 군으로 분류하였다. 데이터는 ANOVA와 Duncan's multiple comparison test (p < 0.05)를 이용하여 통계 분석하였으며 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다; 1. Variolink Ⅱ는 모든 film thickness에서 접착형 레진 시멘트보다 높은 결합 강도를 나타냈지만(p < 0.05), Duo-Link는 대조군을 제외하고는 통계학적 유의차가 없었다(p > 0.05). 2. Film thickness가 증가할수록 복합 레진형 레진 시멘트의 결합 강도는 유의성 있게 감소(p < 0.05)하는 경향을 보인 반면, 접착형 레진 시멘트는 통계학적 유의차가 없었다(p > 0.05). 3. Panavia F는 통계학적으로 유의성 있게 낮은 중합 수축량을 나타냈다(p <0.05). 4. 굴곡 강도와 탄성 계수는 복합 레진형 레진 시멘트가 접착형 레진 시멘트보다 유의성 있게 높게 나타났다(p < 0.05). 5. FE-SEM 관찰 결과 결합 강도가 높은 복합 레진형 레진 시멘트는 균일한 접착층과 잘 발달된 resin tag 소견을 보였으나, 접착형 레진 시멘트는 불분명한 접착층과 resin tag 소견을 나타냈다. 파단면 관찰에서 복합 레진형 레진 시멘트는 혼합형 파괴 양상을 나타냈으나 접착형 레진 시멘트는 접착성 파괴 양상을 나타냈다.

폴리에틸렌 필름에서의 수용성 미끄럼 방지 접착제의 내습 특성 개선 (Improvement of Moisture Resistance of Aqueous Slip-Resistant Adhesive on the Polyethylene Film)

  • 현재 포장 공정에서 사용되고 있는 stretch wrapping 공정은 초기 포장기의 장치 구비 등의 가격문제와 사용 후 폐기되는 포장재의 처리문제가 심각하다. 이에 대해 미끄럼 방지 접착제(Slip-resistant adhesive)를 사용하여 물류를 고정하여 운반하는 방식은 간단한 접착제의 도입으로 폐기물 발생이 없고 공정이 간단하며 비용이 매우 낮은 장점을 지닌다. 본 연구에서는 다습한 환경에서 polyethylene 필름 상에 미끄럼 방지 접착제를 적용했을 경우 접착력이 저하되는 것을 peel test를 통해 확인하고 적절한 첨가제의 선정 및 도입을 통해 접착력을 개선하는 연구를 수행하였다. 이를 통해서 maltodextrin의 첨가 시에 내습성에 대한 개선으로 인해 미끄럼 방지 접착력의 저하가 억제되었으며 10 wt% 도입 시에 최적의 성능을 나타내었다.

필름코팅 소재들이 배추 종자의 발아 및 활력에 미치는 영향 (Influence of film-coated Materials on Germination and Seedling Vigor of film-Coated Chinese Cabbage Seeds)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify for extenders, adhesives, colorants, and fungicides suitable for the production of high-quality film-coated seeds of Chinese cabbage. In addition, the effect of various additives used for film coating on the germination of coated seeds and seedling vigor was investigated to establish appropriate treatment conditions for film coating efficiency. The germination rate and germination speed in Chinese cabbage film-coated seeds did not differ significantly depending on the type and concentration of the extender, while the use of Talc resulted in superior granulation capacity and adhesion of the seed coat in comparison to Zeolite. There was no significant difference in the germination rate depending on the type of adhesive used for film coating of Chinese cabbage seeds, but the germination rate was slightly slower in the film-coated seeds using carboxymethyl cellulose as an adhesive. On the other hand, the seeds coated with a film using 1% PVA as an adhesive not only maintained hardness enough to withstand external pressure, but also showed a high germination rate. In addition, the suitable disinfectant for film coating was venoram, and the treatment concentration was good at 250 mg·L-1. The type of colorant used in the film-coated seeds of Chinese cabbage did not significantly affect the germination rate, germination speed, and seedling vigor. The seeds film-coated using the liquid colorant were superior in appearance to the seeds film-coated with the solid colorant, which implies the possibility of reduction in the manufacturing costs by using the water-soluble paints as colorants for film-coated seeds.

Adhesive Behaviors of the Aluminum Alloy-Based CrN and TiN Coating Films for Ocean Plant

  • In the present study, TiN and CrN films were coated by arc ion plating equipment onto aluminum alloy substrate, A2024. The film thickness was about 4.65 ${\mu}m$. TiN and CrN films were analyzed by X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive X-ray equipments. The Young's modulus and the micro-Vickers hardness of aluminum substrate were modified by the ceramic film coatings. The difference in Young's modulus between substrate and coating film would affect on the wear resistance. The critical load, Lc, was 75.8 N for TiN and 85.5 N for CrN. It indicated from the observation of optical micrographs for TiN and CrN films that lots of cracks widely propagated toward the both sides of scratch track in the early stage of MODE I. TiN film began to delaminate completely at MODE II stage. The substrate was finally glittered at MODE III stage. For CrN film, a few crack can be observed at MODE I stage. The delamination of film was not still occurred at MODE II and then was happened at MODE III. This agrees with critical load measurement which the adhesive strength was greater for CrN film than for TiN film. Consequently, it was difficult for CrN to delaminate because the adhesive strength was excellent against Al substrate. The wear process, which the film adheres and the ball transfers, could be enhanced because of the increase in loading. The wear weight of ball was less for CrN than for TiN. This means that the wear damage of ball was greater for TiN than for CrN film. It is also obvious that it was difficult to delaminate because the CrN coating film has high toughness. The coefficient of friction was less for CrN coating film than for TiN film.

해양환경 중에서 가스저장탱크의 부식방지에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Corrosion Control for Gas Storage Tanks in the Marine Environment)

  • In this study, the adhesive effect, blistering behavior and electrochemical polarization behavior of red lead film by the pretreatment work of sandblasting and potassium chromate($K_2CrO_4$) were investigated to prevent the corrosion of gas storage tank under marine environment. The main results obtained are as follows : 1) The adhesive effect of red lead film by the pretreatment work of sandblasting and potassium chromate is more improved than that of red lead film. 2) The blistering occurrence of red lead film by the pretreatment work of sandblasting and potassium chromate is more delayed than that of red lead film. 3) As the anodic potential is increased, corrosion current density of red lead film by the pre treatment work of sandblasting and potassium chromate is lower drained than that of red lead film.

  • This study was experimental test of edgewise compression properties for aluminum(type-50XX) sandwich panel with thermal environment and surface treatment using adhesive film. There was decreasing $10\%-peel$ strength after thermal environment. Through compressive. buckling mode know to seen of properties of adhesive, sheet and core strength. First case of Chromate to aluminum sheet, know low shear strength of adhesive through buckling mode but case of Beomite to aluminum sheet, know than thin sheet and core low strength through buckling mode.

  • LCD에 사용되는 편광판 제조 시, 치수안정성 및 내습성 향상을 위한 트리아세틸셀룰로오스(TAC) 필름 접착에 적용되는 폴리(비닐 알코올)(PVA) 접착제의 가수화도 및 분자량이 편광판 치수안정성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. TAC 필름과 PVA 편광판의 접착력은 접착제의 탈아세틸화가 70%에서 최대가 되며 PVA 분자량은 가수화도가 70% 이하에서는 접착력에 영향을 미치지 않는 반면 70% 이상에서는 아세틸화에 의한 분자량 감소가 접착력에 영향을 줌을 알 수 있다. 편광판의 치수안정성은 분자량이 낮은 접착제를 사용할 경우 안정적이며 필름과 편광판의 접착력보다는 접착제의 가수화도에 더 의존적임을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Stainless steel is being used widely lor various purposes due to its good corrosion resistance. There has becn much research to produce colored stainless sterl by several methods. In this experiment, we coated TixN film on the SUS304 substrate with thc DC magnetron sputtering system and studied the internal structurc and adhesive strength of the films as a function of the coating conditions. Before lhe specimen was coated, a sputter etching was very effective in removing the$\delta$ Fe(BCC) phase as well as the contaminant and oxide layer as well as increasing rotghness. Five-stage failure mode appeared with increased scratch load with the TIN films coated on the SUS304 in this manner ; tensile failure-,conformal failure-,buckling failure->chipping failurc and spalling Failure. When the failure was terminated at the initial stage, the film will have good adhesion. But, if syalling failure has occurred at the initial scratch, then the adhesion will be poor. The interlayer between thc coated film and thc substratc was homogeneously adhcsive when the $\gamma'-Fe_4N$ phase wasn't detected in the XRD analysis and the adhesive strength only was reduced by surPace defects. But, when the ,$\gamma'-Fe_4N$N phasc was detected in the XRD analysis, the adhesive strength was very poor.
