Adaptive SVM 기법 및 신뢰성 개념을 적용한 강관다단공법의 설계기법 연구 (Design of umbrella arch method based on adaptive SVM and reliability concept)

  • 본 연구에서는 터널주변 원지반의 불확실성을 고려한 신뢰성기반 강관다단공법의 설계기법에 대하여 논의하였다. 이를 위하여 기계학습기법의 한 부류인 adaptive support vector machine과 시공 중인 터널의 한계평형해석기법을 도입한 후, 강관다단공법을 적용한 터널의 안전성 여부에 대한 훈련과정을 최소화할 수 있는 방안을 제안하였다. 제안한 기법은 전형적인 Monte Carlo 기법과의 비교를 통해 그 효과를 분석하였다. 이 결과, 제안한 신뢰성기반 ASVM 기법은 원지반의 불확실성을 감안하는 경우, 보조공법 적용에 따른 터널의 시공 중 파괴확률을 효율적으로 계산할 수 있음을 입증하였다. 이 결과를 바탕으로 향후에는 한계평형해석을 적용할 수 없는 경우 등을 감안하여 최소의 수치해석 결과를 바탕으로 파괴확률을 추론해 낼 수 있는 신속 ASVM 기법을 개발할 예정이다.

Adaptive Feedback Linearization Control Based on Airgap Flux Model for Induction Motors

  • This paper presents an adaptive feedback linearization control scheme for induction motors with simultaneous variation of rotor and stator resistances. Two typical modeling techniques, rotor flux model and stator flux model, have been developed and successfully applied to the controller design and adaptive observer design, respectively. By using stator fluxes as states, over-parametrization in adaptive control can be prevented and control strategy can be developed without the need of nonlinear transformation. It also decrease the relative degree for the flux modulus by one, thereby, yielding, a simple control algorithm. However, when this method is used for flux observer, it cannot guarantee the convergence of flux. Similarly, the rotor flux model may be appropriate for observers, but it is not so for adaptive controllers. In addition, if these two existing methods are merged into overall adaptive control system, it brings about structural complexies. In this paper, we did not use these two modeling methods, and opted for the airgap flux model which takes on only the positive aspects of the existing rotor flux model and stator flux model and prevents structural complexity from occuring. Through theoretical analysis by using Lyapunov's direct method, simulations, and actual experiments, it is shown that stator and rotor resistances converge to their actual values, flux is well estimated, and torque and flux are controlled independently with the measurements of rotor speed, stator currents, and stator voltages. These results were achieved under the persistent excitation condition, which is shown to hold in the simulation.

고해상도 SAR 영상 Speckle 제거 및 분류 (Despeckling and Classification of High Resolution SAR Imagery)

  • Lee(2009)에서 영상 강도를 위해서 lognormal 확률 모형과 영상 texture를 위해서 Markov random field(MRF)에 기반하는 Bayesian 모형을 사용하는 boundary-adaptive despeckling 방법을 제안하였다. 이 방법은 speckle 제거 영상의 최대 사후(maximum a posteriori: MAP) 추정치를 구하기 위해서 Point-Jacobian iteration을 이용한다 인접하고 있는 다른 특성의 지역에 위치한 화소의 값을 사용하는 가능성을 줄이기 위해 Boundary-adaptive algorithm은 경계에 가까울 수록 멀리 떨어진 이웃 화소로부터 정보를 덜 수집하도록 고안된다. 이러한 boundary-adaptive 방법은 전반적으로 simulation 자료를 사용하여 Lee(2009)에서 평가되었고 그리고 제안된 방법의 효험을 증명하였다. 본 연구는 Lee(2009)의 확장 연구로 MAP 추정치를 구하기 반복 algorithm의 계산 효율성을 증가 시키고 noise 제거와 함께 분류를 수행하는 수정 algorithm을 제안한다. Simulation 자료를 사용한 실험을 통해서 boundary-adaption이 분류 오류를 줄여줄 뿐 아니라 더욱 명확한 경계선을 보여준다는 것을 알 수 있다. 또한 영종도 서해안에서 관측된 고해상도 Terra-SAR data에 적용한 결과는 boundary-adaption은 SAR 활용에서 분석의 정확성을 개선 시킬 수 있다는 것을 암시한다.

적응 제어 시스템의 과도상태 성능 개선을 위한 제어기 설계 (A modified adaptive control method for improving transient performance)

  • This paper presents a modified adaptive control scheme that improves the transient performance of the overall system while maintaining the asymptotic convergence of the output error. The proposed control scheme is characterized as the added outer dynamic feedback loop on the conventional adaptive control scheme. This control scheme enables various robust control methods that were developed for standard model reference adaptive controllers to be applied to the proposed controller. In contrast with the modified adaptive controllers that use augmented errors to provide additional dynamic feedback, the proposed controller uses tracking error directly, thereby reducing the tracking error significantly in the transient state and making the error insensitive to noise.

Adaptive Precompensation of Wiener Systems

  • In this paper, an adaptive precompensator, which can reduce the distortion of a Wiener system effectively, is proposed. The previous techniques for adaptive precompensation, based on the Volterra series modeling to compensate the distortion of a nonlinear system, are not suitable for real-time implementation due to high computational burden and slow convergence burden and slow convergence rate. This paper presents an adaptive precompensation technique for the class of nonlinear subsystem, referred to as Wiener system. An adaptive algorithm for adjusting the parameters of a precompensator, structured by a hammerstein model, is derived using the stochastic gradient method. Also, an adaptive precompensatin technique which can effectively reduce nonlinear distortion in μ-law type of saturation characteristics is proposed. The validity of the proposed algorithm is confirmed through simulation by applying it to known Wiener systmes and a typical loudspeaker model.

  • A New fuzzy adaptive controller which is able to solve the problems of classical adaptive controllers and conventional fuzzy adaptive controllers is suggested in this paper. The architecture of a fuzzy adaptive controller using the robust property of a fuzzy controller is explained. A design procedure which can be carried out mathematically and systematically from the model of an objective system is suggested, and related mathematical theorems and their proofs are also given. The performance of the proposed adaptive control algorithm is analyzed through a design example and a DC motor control simulation.

  • The development of noise robust speech processing systems is becoming increasingly important as speech technology is currently widely applied in real world applications. Recently, to resolve such a noise problem, adaptive noise canceller(ANC) is frequently used, which is based upon adaptive filters. The adaptive recursive filters perform better than adaptive non-recursive filters due to the added poles, but the stability may be severely threatened. But these problems of adaptive recursive filters was solved by ACHARF algorithm. This paper presents a method which combines speaker verification system with ANC(Adaptive Noise Canceller) using the ACHARF algorithm. In the front-end stage, ANC is adopted to suppress the additive noise imposed on the speech signal. The results show that the performance of speaker verification system becomes better than before.

  • In this paper, it Is presented a new scheme of adaptive-neuro control system to implement real-time control of robot manipulator. Unlike the well-established theory for the adaptive control of linear systems, there exists relatively little general theory for the adaptive control of nonlinear systems. Adaptive control technique is essential for providing a stable and robust performance for application of robot control. The proposed neuro control algorithm is one of learning a model based error back-propagation scheme using Lyapunov stability analysis method. Through simulation, the proposed adaptive-negro control scheme is proved to be a efficient control technique for real-time control of robot system using DSPs.

  • A hydraulic system is difficult to keep the performance due to non-linearity, load pressure which changes according to working condition and system parameter variation, the requirement of control algorithm has been risen in order to satisfy them. An adaptive control is a control method which is suggested to achieve a control object though plant characteristics change. In spite of the case that plant characteristics and the degree of variation are difficult to grasp, adaptive control can keep the characteristics of closed-loop system regularly. In this study GMVAC(generalized minimum variance adaptive control) combined with output error feedback is proposed in order to solve problems of non-minimum phase, vibration and overshoot in initial response of the plant. The control performance according to the variation of characteristics of the plant is evaluated by changing the supply pressure only.

An Adaptive Undervoltage Load Shedding Against Voltage Collapse Based Power Transfer Stability Index

  • This paper highlights the comparison of a proposed methods named adaptive undervoltage load shedding based PTSI techniques for undervoltage load shedding and two previous methods named Fixed Shed Fixed Delay (FSFD) and Variable Shed Variable Delay (VSVD) for avoiding voltage collapse. There are three main area considerations in load shedding schemes as the amount of load to be shed, the timing of load shedding event, and the location where load shed is to be shed. The proposed method, named as adaptive UVLS based PTSI seem to be most appropriate among the uncoordinated schemes. From the simulation result can be shown the Adaptive UVLS based PTSI give faster response, accurate and very sensitive control for the UVLS control technique. This technique is effectively when calculating the amount to be shed. Therefore, it is possible to bring the voltage to the threshold value in one step. Thus, the adaptive load shedding can effectively reduce the computational time for control strategy.
