초등학생의 효율적인 영양교육을 위한 교과서분석 및 식습관 조사연구 -강릉시내 초등학생 대상으로- (A Research on Analysis of Eating Habits and Textbook Contents for Efficient Nutrition Education of Elementary School Students in Gangneung City)

  • This study empirically examined the actual level of elementary school children's knowledge of nutrition and the extent of current nutrition education for the children through the use of textbooks. Two or three classes were sampled from each of six schools, respectively, in Gangneung; of the 562 questionnaires that were distributed, 537 were returned and used for analysis. Respondents were all sixth-graders, on average boys and girls were 153.02$\pm$8.19㎝ and 152.79$\pm$7.15㎝ in height and 45.27$\pm$10.32㎏ and 43.33$\pm$7.46㎏ in weight, respectively, which was consistent with others' research. Most children had two siblings and a working mother, considered that they were well off, and their mother prepared meals. Children regularly had breakfast and dinner, although more children had dinner than breakfast. As a whole, their knowledge of the main nutrients contained in foods was lower than their general knowledge of nutrition. There were significant differences in knowledge of the main nutrients contained in foods, with girls showing more knowledge than boys (p<0.01). Most of them learned about nutrition at school, followed by home. At school, Practical Technology classes taught them the most about nutrition. Although Physical Education classes were expected to teach about nutrition in a quantitative way, they accounted for just 4.7% of the overall knowledge. As for the children's understanding of nutrition education through use of a textbook at school, just 19% of the students gained a very good understanding. As for interest in nutrition education at school, 22.2% of the students had no interest, while girls were more likely to have their interest in nutrition education at school affected by knowledge of nutrition than boys. For both boys and girls, the most desired method of education was cooking practice. More research across subjects is necessary so that nutrition education concentrated on the curriculum for fifth-graders can be provided by stages from the lower grades. Since cooking practice or games were preferred, it is necessary to develop nutrition education methods to incite active interest rather than passive education.

동하중을 받는 구조물의 등가정하중 기반 구조 최적화 연구 (Study on the Structural Optimization based on Equivalent Static Load under Dynamic Load)

  • 현실세계의 구조물은 대부분 동하중의 영향을 받고 있지만, 구조해석이나 구조 최적화를 수행할 때는 정하중이 작용하는 것으로 가정한다. 실제 하중인 동하중을 고려하게 되면 다양한 하중들을 고려해야 하기 때문에 전산자원과 시간비용 측면에서 많은 제약이 따르기 때문이다. 그러나, 단순한 정하중 조건만을 고려하면 구조안전성 측면에서 바람직하지 못하기 때문에 가중치를 적용하거나 동하중을 대체하는 등가정하중을 적용하여 관련 문제를 보완하려는 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 등가정하중을 적용하여 동하중을 받고 있는 구조물에 대한 구조최적화 기법을 제안한다. 본 연구에서 적용하는 등가정하중은 기존 연구에서 제안한 바 있는 주자유도를 기반으로 하여 등가정하중 부과 위치를 결정하고 최적화 과정을 통해 산출한다. 이 과정에서 지나치게 큰 하중이 구해지지 않도록 가중치를 고려한 구속조건을 추가하여 기존 연구의 등가정하중의 최적화 과정을 보완하였다. 수치예제에서는 동하중이 작용하는 트러스 구조물과 평판 구조물에서 최적화된 등가정하중을 적용하여 사이즈 최적화를 수행함으로써 제안된 최적화 기법의 신뢰성을 검증한다.

하수관로 건전도와 도로함몰 발생 상관관계 분석 (Correlation Analysis of Sewer Integrity and Ground Subsidence)

  • 최근 도심지에서 도로함몰 발생의 증가추세가 사회문제로 대두되고 있다. 도로함몰의 주된 원인으로 주목받고 있는 노후 하수관의 경우 단순히 매설연도에 의존하여 하수관 교체 및 보수보강 등의 관리가 이뤄지고 있으며, 도로함몰 발생의 위험성예측에 대하여 많은 연구가 진행되지 않은 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 다양한 하수관 및 주변 환경 정보를 고려하여 신뢰성 있는 도로함몰 위험도 평가 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 영향인자 도출을 위해 도로함몰이 가장 많이 발생한 서울시를 중심으로 도로함몰 발생지점 인근의 하수관로의 정보를 추출하고, 도로함몰과 하수관로의 건전도 및 관로 주변 환경의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 또한, AHP 분석을 통해 영향인자 간 중요도를 평가하여 인자 간 가중치가 부여된 도로함몰 위험도 평가 방법을 제시하였다. 제시된 방법론의 신뢰성 검증을 위해, 시범지역에 실제 도로함몰 발생 데이터와 위험도 분석결과를 비교해 상관성을 검토하였다. 상관성 검토결과로부터 본 연구를 통해 제시된 방법을 활용하여 신뢰성 있는 도로 함몰 위험지역 예측이 가능한 것으로 확인되었다.

마산시내 일부 국민학교 아동의 단백질 급원식품에 대한 편식과 가정환경, 학력 및 인성과의 관계 연구 (The Study on the Relationship Between the Unbalanced diets of Protein-rich Food and General Circumstances, Growth, School Performance & Character among Elementary School Children of Masan)

  • In this study, 419 students of the 6th grade in three schools in Masan were surveyed. The students having less than 24 items among 48 protein-rich foods easily obtained were considered as unbalanced-diet students. Their general circumstances, character, status of growth and development and school performance were compared with those of balanced-diet students. The results were following. 1. The actual condition of unbalanced diets of protein-rich food 1) Female showed high degree of unbalanced diet in meat food while male in shell-food. Both sexes liked processed food stuffs such as ham, sausage and boiled fish paste but not salted. Both of them disliked beans. 2) The reason for unbalanced diet, they answered, was bad taste and smell of some foods. The reason, their mothers amswered, was they fed their children some particualr foods. 3) The attitudes of the mothers against unbalanced diets were coaxing their children to eat some foods for they are good for health or forcing their children to eat some foods. The most effective method on the children was coaxing and the next was changing cuisines. 2. The general circumstances of the students. 1) 168 students (male: 85, female:83) among 419 students who were studied were unbalanced-diet students and the extent of unbalanced diet was similar in both sexes. 2) The rate of unbalanced-diet students was higher among the students who were the first child in the family, had a small family or were fed milk or mixed milk. 3) The school career of unbalanced-diet student's mothers was higher and the rate of unbalanced-diet students was higher among the students who have rich families or career mothers. 3. The status of physical condition 1) The height and weight of unbalanced-diet students were lower than those of the standard of Korean children. The status of balanced-diet students were better than that of the standard. 4. Degree of school performance 1) The school records of unbalanced-diet students was 81.4 points in average, which was 1.3 points lower than the average of city students and that of balanced-diet students was 2.8 points higher than average. There was a significant gap between the two groups. 5. The relation between unbalanced diet and character 1) Compared balanced-diet students, unbalanced-diet students showed high degree of nervousness and coldheartedness and low degree of self-reliance and self-possession. There was a significant gap between the two groups and it showed that unbalanced diets affected the formation of character.

  • Korea's clothing industry which has been country's leading export industry and basic strategical industry is now faced with many difficulties both domestically and internationally. Domestically it is faced with continuing shortage of manpower in both production line and management high labour cost causing increase in price putting more weight on behavior of consumers resulting in change of industrial environment and continuing structural problems of industry itself. Internationally it is faced with strengthening of import regulations and protectionism of developed countries and rapid emergence of underdeveloped countries as leading exporting nations. In reality export plays the most essential role in our economy and is especially sensitive to the external environmental factors. Already economic bloc phonomenon can be seen everywhere and is continuing to accelerate in place such as E. U in Europ, North & South America as NAFTA, and South East Asian contries which recent tendency of economic unity effort is present. These countries of such economic blocs are imposing heavy custom duties reinforcing provision of country origin and acting out strict inspection regulations in order to protect the interest of their own industry. Therefore it is vital to manufacture excellent quality goods For these reasons study in this area has brought attention in Korea as well as worldwide in the recent years. Apparel industry which requires professional technology and ability is the most competitive international business. In order to challenge the international market the high level of intelligence is most required to produce high quality goods. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between functions and roles of marketing and to approach problems in more efficient manner. Apparel industry is composed of various programs such as design pattern making merchandising and textile science. To succeed in the business is to give the highest satisfaction to the targeted market. Hence this study will example the factors that determine the Cost Quality and Performance of apparel products. The study will involve following steps; firstly establish relationship between the quality concept and productivity of apparel products Secondly inquire in to marketing strategy laying stress on apparel production related factors focusing on merchandising marketing production and operations Thirdly prospect 21st century apparel industry focusing on garment production and trade and also other countries structural improvement Fourthly establish the new dimension of competitive factors by grasping the actual circumstance of Korea's apparel industry in the international market. The research method will include; First reality approach method by analysing the present state of industry Second literal analysis such as marketing comparisons between leading apparel exporting countries.

미국 버지니아주 거주 한국인과 미국인의 건강상태 인식도 및 짠맛 기호도 비교 (A Study on the Level of Perception of the Health Condition of Koreans and Americans in Virginia, USA and Their Preference for Salty Taste)

  • This study was conducted as a comparative analysis, using the SPSS 17.0 program for a survey conducted from March to July 2013, on the level of perception and preference factors of Koreans and Americans residing in Virginia, USA(89 male and female adults of 20 years of age or above). For the information on the degree of obesity, a survey was used and the subjects provided with their heights and weights. The researcher used this data to calculated their BMI and distinguished the degrees of obesity. For the BMI, the obesity diagnosis of Korean Society for the Study of Obesity was used for Koreans, and the WHO's obesity diagnosis on adults were employed for Americans. First, regarding the Korean participants, the level of obesity appeared in the order of normal (79.6%), overweight (14.3%), and underweight (6.1%). Also, the level of perceptions of their health conditions appeared in the order of average (51.7%) and good (34.7%). No one perceived their health to be in poor condition. Meanwhile, for the American participants, the order was as follows: overweight at about 45%, normal weight at about 35%, obesity at about 12.5%, and underweight at about 7.5%. In terms of the level of perception of health during ordinary times, about 55% of the American participants answered that they are in good health. Therefore, the Americans were found to perceive their health to be in relatively better condition than the Koreans residing in the USA. Also, concerning the level of interest in health while eating food at ordinary times, the American participants were discovered to be more interested (about 62.5%) than the Korean participants. The research on their preference for salty taste was conducted as a survey, and the subjects were asked to choose an item according to their subjective feeling. Regarding the preference for salty taste, both Koreans and Americans residing in the USA responded as moderate. However, a higher proportion of Americans than Koreans responded to favor salty taste. Concerning the reason for their preference for salty taste, Koreans responded with various reasons whereas Americans mostly responded that it is because they eat salty food frequently. For any changes in dietary behavior related to eating salty food, both Korean and American respondents thought that the amount of their daily intake of salt is appropriate and that they consider taste as most important in selecting a snack. Based on the above data, the results of this research indicate a need for actual improvement in the diet with regard to salty food along with diverse policies for promoting life with a low salt diet in future.

양호교사(養護敎師)의 초등학생(初等學生)에 대한 비만관리(肥滿管理) (School Nurses Obesity Management in Elementary School Children)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out problems in obesity management through survey and analysis of the actual conditions from the view of a elementary schools school-nurses and to establish fundamental data for efficient obesity management. The subjects for this study were 313 numbers of elementary school-nurses in Kyung-Sang-Pook-Do. The data were collected through mail questionaries from November 1 to November 30, 1997. The major findings in this survey were as follows: 49.8% of the school-nurses who responded in the survey were in their 30s. The average career was 7.3years. The average service duration in their present school was 2.3 years, 55.6% of them were serving at schools which have less than ten classes total 77.2% of them were serving rural areas, 79.6% of them were serving at schools with fewer than 100 obese students. The total obesity prevalence rate was 11.4%, 13.3% were girls, 9.3% were boys. The measurement of height and weight is performed once a year for all surveyed students (91.7%), but obese students were measured as much five times (51.1%). The rate of obesity management planning was 74.1%, however the rates of evaluation and role assignment were 41. 2%, and 24.3%. 79.6% of the surveyed schools have health education classes for obesity, the rate compared (8.0 periods per year) to the whole of health education (79.1 periods per year) is 10.1%. 99.9% of the schools had counseling rooms for obesity (combined with nursing rooms) but they were used. The roote of individual counseling was 84.3%. The frequency counseling was six times a year for about 15 minutes. Obesity counseling records were kept 93.6% of the time and individual information cards were kept 98.7% of the time. The frequency of parents counseling was 42.8% and the survey shows that the main problem here was insufficient counseling facilities. The frequency of dietary guidance and exercise therapy was 84.3% and the dietary instructor was usually the school nurse at 51.7%. The frequency of obesity student exercise was 1-2 times a week and more-than-10-minutes at a time. They skip rope during the morning self-study class. The number on problem of exercise guidance at 56.2% was students' non-cooperativeness. School-nurses, 87.9%, answered that obesity management at school is necessary and 86.9% mentioned the shortage of obesity related information in present physical exercise books. From the plural responses of executing the obesity management, there are many similar problems: lack of knowledge and non-cooperation in parents at 41.9%, is predominant followed by of knowledge and non-cooperation in the children. The third problem is the lack of funds and facilities.

흡연상태에 관한 자가보고 설문의 타당도 평가: 제1기(2009-2011) 국민환경보건기초조사 자료 분석 (Validity Assessment of Self-reported Smoking Status: Results from the Korean National Environmental Health Survey (KoNEHS) 2009-2011)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to assess the validity of self-reported cigarette smoking status and investigate factors associated with the accuracy self-reported and measured urinary cotinine in Korean adults. Methods: We used data from the $1^{st}$ Korean National Environmental Health Survey (2009-2011) among adults aged ${\geq}19$ years (N=6,246). The survey examined self-reported smoking status, and urinary cotinine was regarded as the biomarker of exposure to tobacco smoke. Urinary cotinine was analyzed using a gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) and data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS version 20.0, which uses the sample weight and calculates variance estimates to adjust for the unequal probability of selection into the survey. Results: We calculated a cut-off point (53.3 ug/L) by using a ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) curve. The smoking prevalence was 24.6% based on self-reported data and 28.2% based on urinary cotinine concentrations. When we assessed the agreement between self-reported and urinary cotinine, we found an average agreement of 97.7% among self-reported smokers and 94.5% among self-reported non-smokers. Among self-reported smokers, factors affected the discrepancy were age, household economic status and average number of cigarettes smoked per day. On the other hand, gender, former smoking experience, and exposure to SHS (second hand smoke) were associated with discrepancies among self-reported non-smokers. Conclusion: These results suggest that self-reported data on smoking status provide a valid estimate of actual smoking status. In future research, we will conduct a continuous monitoring study for reliability verification of the data to reduce potential interpretation errors.

실감 입체 형상 생성을 위한 카멜레온형 핀아트 장치 개발 (Development of a Chameleonic Pin-Art Equipment for Generating Realistic Solid Shapes)

  • 본 논문에서 제안된 카멜레온형 서피스 (chameleonic surface)는 핀 아트 (pin-art) 장치로서 임의 형상 발생용 입체 디스플레이 장치이다. 슬림 텔레스코픽 액츄에이터 (slim telescopic actuator)와 고탄성의 복합 소재로 생성되는 부드럽고 연속적인 곡면 위에 동적 매핑 영상을 투사하여 사실적인 입체 형상을 연속적으로 생성할 수 있다. 슬림 텔레스코픽 액츄에이터는 적층을 위하여 긴 행정거리를 가지면서 최소 점유 면적을 가지도록 설계하였다. 3차원 형상은 다수의 슬림 텔레스코픽 액츄에이터가 고탄성 소재를 밀어서 돌출시켜서 만들어진다. 이와 같은 구조는 임의의 연속적인 곡면 형상 생성, 동적 영상 투사 및 장치 경량화 등의 장점이 있었다. 수백 개의 슬림 텔레스코픽 액츄에이터가 원활하게 동작하기 위하여 실시간 동기화가 가능한 이더캣 (EtherCAT) 통신 기반의 분산 제어기를 적용하였다. 통합 운영 소프트웨어로 돌출 형상과 입체 영상을 정합하고 다수 영상 투사기로 투사하여 실감 영상을 연속적으로 생성할 수 있었다. 실제 공연을 위하여 오페라용 콘텐츠를 제작하면서 카멜레온 서피스에 최적화하였고, 일반인들을 대상으로 상영하였다.

우리나라와 일본의 초등학교 수학과 교육과정 측정 영역 비교·분석: 외연량을 중심으로 (A comparative analysis of measurement domain of elementary school mathematics curriculum in Korea and Japan: centered on extensive quantity)

  • 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 2015 개정 초등학교 수학과 교육과정과 일본의 2017 개정 초등학교 수학과 교육과정 <측정 영역>의 7개 외연량 시간, 길이, 들이, 무게, 넓이, 각도, 부피의 지도 실정을 비교, 측정, 어림재기의 세 관점에서 비교 분석하고 있다. 이러한 비교 분석의 결과로부터 우리나라의 차기 초등학교 수학 교과서 및 차기 초등학교 수학과 교육과정 개발과 관련하여 다음과 같은 논의가 필요하다는 것을 제안할 수 있다. 첫째, 시간, 길이, 들이, 무게, 넓이, 각도, 부피 각각에 대해 비교(직관적 비교, 직접 비교. 간접 비교), 직접 측정(임의 단위에 의한 측정, 표준 단위에 의한 측정), 간접 측정, 어림재기의 취급 범위를 명확히 하는 것에 대한 논의가 필요하다. 둘째, 직관적 비교가 곤란한 경우에 직접 비교를 하게 하는 것에 대한 논의가 필요하다. 셋째, 무게의 간접 비교를 재고하는 것에 대한 논의가 필요하다. 넷째, 임의 단위에 의한 각도의 측정을 재고하는 것에 대한 논의가 필요하다. 다섯째, 넓이 $1cm^2$$1m^2$ 및 부피 $1cm^3$$1m^3$가 각각 어느 정도의 크기인지를 짐작할 수 있게 하는 B류 어림재기를 취급하는 것에 대한 논의가 필요하다.
