Studies on Neuropharmacological Effects of Clitoria ternatea Linn. Root Extract in Rats and Mice

  • Ethanol extract of the root of Clitoria ternatea Linn (CTEE) was evaluated for different neuropharmacological actions, such as general behaviour, exploratory behaviour, muscle relaxant activity and phenobarbitone induced sleeping time, in rats and mice. The extract was found to cause reduction in spontaneous activity, decrease in exploratory behavioural pattern by the head dip and Y- maze test, reduction in the muscle relaxant by rotarod, $30^{\circ}C$ inclined screen and traction tests. In addition CTEE significantly potentiated the phenobarbitone-induced sleeping time. Preliminary tests indicate that the ethanol extract of Clitoria ternatea Linn. At the doses of 100 and 150 mg/kg showed significant neuropharmacological activity.

SLEUTH 모델을 이용한 청주시 토지이용변화 예측 (Land Use Change Prediction of Cheongju using SLEUTH Model)

  • By IPCC climate change scenario, the socioeconomic actions such as the land use change are closely associated with the climate change as an up zoning action of urban development to increase green gas emission to atmosphere. Prediction of the land use change with rational quality can provide better data for understanding of the climate change in future. This study aims to predict land use change of Cheongju in future and SLEUTH model is used to anticipate with the status quo condition, in which the pattern of land use change in future follows the chronical tendency of land use change during last 25 years. From 40 years prediction since 2000 year, the area urbanized compared with 2000 year increases up to 87.8% in 2040 year. The ratios of the area urbanized from agricultural area and natural area in 2040 are decreased to 53.1% and 15.3%, respectively.

  • Our paper describes an Intrusion Detection Parallel System(IDPS) which detects an anomaly activity corresponding to the actions that interaction between near detection events. IDES uses parallel inductive approaches regarding the problem of real-time anomaly behavior detection on rule-based system. This approach uses sequential rule that describes user's behavior and characteristics dependent on time. and that audits user's activities by using rule base as data base to store user's behavior pattern. When user's activity deviates significantly from expected behavior described in rule base. anomaly behaviors are recorded. Observed behavior is flagged as a potential intrusion if it deviates significantly from the expected behavior or if it triggers a rule in the parallel inductive system.

  • The agricultural is plagued by agricultural damage from wild boars every year. As a result, research on systems to repelling wild boars continues, and most of the systems are to detect objects with body temperature through sensors and then repelling them with actions such as light and sound. The problems of these system are operating regardless of wild boars and people, which can cause significant accident when using electric fence. In addition, If the same repelling action is repeated, wild boars can be adapted to that repelling action. As a solution to the two problems, Adaptation problem can be solved by random sounds and distinction problem can be solved by YOLO V4.

  • In the ship building industry various problems of erection is counterfeited due to formation of bottle necks in the block erection flow pattern This kind of problems cause accumulated problems in real-time erection right on the floor, When such a problem is approached, a support data of the entire erection sequence should be available, Here planning is done by reasoning about the future events in order to verify the existence of a reasonable series of actions to accomplish a goal. This technique helps in achieving benefits like handling search complications, in resolving goal conflicts and anticipation of bottleneck formation well in advance to take necessary countermeasures and boosts the decision support system, The data is being evaluated and an anticipatory function is to be developed This function is quite relevant in day to day planning operation. The system updates database with rearrangement of off-critical blocks in the erection sequence diagram, As a result of such a system, planners can foresee months ahead and can effectively make decisions regarding the control of loads on the man, machine and work flow pattern, culminating to an efficient load management. Such a foreseeing concept helps us in eliminating backtracking related adjustment which is less efficient compared to the look-ahead concept. An attempt is made to develop a computer program to update the database of block arrangement pattern based on heuristic formulation.

  • 건물 안에 있는 사람의 보호는 재해방지 설계 시 우선적인 고려사항이다. 그러나 실제 상황에서 연기에 대한 가시도, 상호간의 거리, 사고방식 및 교통정체에 대한 인지정도 등을 계획하는 것은 어렵다. 본 연구의 목적은 변수에 대한 패턴 변화의 모듈화를 분석해 피난 시뮬레이션의 기초 자료를 활용하기 위함으로 이를 위해 태그로 부터 전파를 감지하고 실시간으로 위치를 파악하는데 RTLS(실시간 위치 시스템) 시스템을 활용하였다. RTLS 시스템을 활용하여 피난 패턴에 대해 도수안경을 착용하여 가시도에 따른 이동속도, 건축 시 문의 최적 크기를 추정하기 위한 문의 크기에 따른 흐름 분석 및 병목상황 시 사람들의 움직임에 대한 3가지 패턴에 대해 분석하고 가시화 하였다. 이 결과 실제 사람들의 피난 시 다양한 상황에서 수치해석 적용에 기대할 것으로 판단된다.

  • Until now, research on consumers' purchasing behavior has primarily focused on psychological aspects or depended on consumer surveys. However, there may be a gap between consumers' self-reported perceptions and their observable actions. In response, this study aimed to investigate consumer purchasing behavior utilizing a big data approach. To this end, this study investigated the purchasing patterns of fashion items, both online and in retail stores, from a data-driven perspective. We also investigated whether individual consumers switched between online websites and retail establishments for making purchases. Data on 516,474 purchases were obtained from fashion companies. We used association rule analysis and K-means clustering to identify purchase patterns that were influenced by customer loyalty. Furthermore, sequential pattern analysis was applied to investigate the usage patterns of online and offline channels by consumers. The results showed that high-loyalty consumers mainly purchased infrequently bought items in the brand line, as well as high-priced items, and that these purchase patterns were similar both online and in stores. In contrast, the low-loyalty group showed different purchasing behaviors for online versus in-store purchases. In physical environments, the low-loyalty consumers tended to purchase less popular or more expensive items from the brand line, whereas in online environments, their purchases centered around items with relatively high sales volumes. Finally, we found that both high and low loyalty groups exclusively used a single preferred channel, either online or in-store. The findings help companies better understand consumer purchase patterns and build future marketing strategies around items with high brand centrality.

보안을 위한 공격 행위 감지 메타-모델링 (Meta-Modeling to Detect Attack Behavior for Security)

  • 본 논문은 행위 온톨로지(Behavior Ontology)의 개념을 기반으로 한 보안-중심 시스템 안의 공격 패턴을 감지하기 위한 방법을 제안한다. 일반적으로 보안-중심 시스템들은 매우 규모가 크고 복잡하며, 가능한 모든 방법으로 공격자에 의해 공격된다. 그러므로, 공격 감지를 위한 몇 가지의 구조적 방법을 통해 다양한 공격들을 감지하는 것은 매우 복잡하다. 본 논문은 행위 온톨로지를 통하여 이러한 문제를 극복한다. 시스템 안의 공격의 패턴들은 시스템의 클래스 온톨로지에서 정의된 행동(Action)들을 순서에 따라 나열함으로써 정의된다. 공격 패턴이 행동들의 순서로 정의됨으로써 격자와 같이 포함관계를 기반으로 한 계층적인 순서로 추상화될 수 있다. 공격 패턴을 위한 행위 온톨로지가 정의되면, 대상 시스템 안의 공격들은 온톨로지의 구조 안에서 의미적이고 계층적으로 감지될 수 있다. 다른 공격 분석 모델들과 비교해보면, 본 논문에서의 행위 온톨로지를 통한 분석은 시간과 공간적으로 매우 효율적이고 효과적인 방법이다.

Direct Action of Genistein on the Hypothalamic Neuronal Circuits in Female Rats

  • Mammalian reproduction is regulated by a feedback circuit of the key reproductive hormones such as GnRH, gonadotropin and sex steroids on the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis. In particular, the onset of female puberty is triggered by gain of a pulsatile pattern and increment of GnRH secretion from hypothalamus. Previous studies including our own clearly demonstrated that genistein (GS), a phytoestrogenic isoflavone, altered the timing of puberty onset in female rats. However, the brain-specific actions of GS in female rats has not been explored yet. The present study was performed to examine the changes in the activities of GnRH neurons and their neural circuits by GS in female rats. Concerning the drug delivery route, intracerebroventricular (ICV) injection technique was employed to eliminate the unwanted actions on the extrabrain tissues which can be occurred if the testing drug is systemically administered. Adult female rats (PND 100, 210-230 g BW) were anaesthetized, treated with single dose of GS ($3.4{\mu}g$/animal), and sacrificed at 3 hrs post-injection. To determine the transcriptional changes of reproductive hormone-related genes in hypothalamus, total RNAs were extracted and applied to the semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). ICV infusion of GS significantly raised the transcriptional activities of enhanced at puberty1 (EAP-1, p<0.05), glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD67, p<0.01) which are known to modulate GnRH secretion in the hypothalamus. However, GS infusion could not change the mRNA level of nitric oxide synthase 2 (NOS-2). GS administration significantly increased the mRNA levels of KiSS-1 (p<0.001), GPR54 (p<0.001), and GnRH (p<0.01) in the hypothalami, but decreased the mRNA levels of LH-$\beta$ (p<0.01) and FSH-$\beta$ (p<0.05) in the pituitaries. Taken together, the present study indicated that the acute exposure to GS could directly activate the hypothalamic GnRH modulating system, suggesting the GS's disrupting effects such as the early onset of puberty in immature female rats might be derived from premature activation of key reproduction related genes in hypothalamus-pituitary neuroendocrine circuit.

게임플레이 경험에 대한 게이머의 인지적 모형에 관한 실증적 접근 : World of Warcraft 게임에서 게이머의 전문성 차이를 중심으로 (An Empirical Approach for Gamer's Cognitive Model on Game Playing Experience : Towards Difference of Gamers' Expertise in World Warcraft Game)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 게임플레이에 대한 게이머의 인지적 처리과정을 살펴보고 게이머의 전문성에 따른 그룹 간 차이를 규명 하는데 있다. 이를 위해 최근 대표적인 MMO(Massively Multi-player Online)게임에 해당하는 월드오브워크래프트 게임에 대한 실증적 실험을 실시하였다. 실증적 실험을 통해 구두조서와 행동조서를 수집하여 게이머의 전문성 별로 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 전문가들은 정형화된 행동 패턴을 보인 반면 중급자와 초보자들의 경우 학습곡선과 특정행동 패턴을 형성하는 것을 발견 하였다. 전문가들의 경우 게임 진행 초기 단계에서 수집과 같은 기능적인 행동이 집중된데 반하여 초보자들의 경우 게임 플레이 전반에 걸쳐 7가지 기능적인 행동(탐색, 전투, 3가지 유형의 수집, 회피, 대화)이 분산되어 있는 것이 발견되었다. 본 연구는 게이머의 전문성에 따른 그룹 간 비교분석을 통해서 얻어진 일관성과 차이점을 제시한다. 이는 MMO게임을 디자인 할때, 게임 초보자, 중급자, 전문가에 대한 디자인 지침을 제공 한다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 MMO게임을 디자인 할 때 초보자들에 대한 게임 콘텐츠 개발에 중요한 기초를 제공한다
