소비자가 지각한 속옷상표의 BI컬러와 상표자산 (Consumer's Perceived Underwear Brand Identity (BI) Color and Brand Equity)

  • This study examined the effects of underwear brand identity color on brand equity. A self-administered questionnaire mainly consisted of BI color, brand image, and brand equity for underwear. Five underwear brands (Calvin Klein, Yes, Solb, Venus, and Body Guard) were selected based on the frequency they were purchased in pilot study. To collect data, respondents were asked to choose a brand which they were most familiar with, and to assess BI color, brand image, and brand equity including cognitive value, emotional value and purchase intention. A total of 228 usable questionnaires were obtained from consumers aged 19 to 46. BI colors were classified into four color groups: Achromatic (white, black, gray), Vivid (red, blue, yellow), Pink, and Beige. Additionally, underwear brand images consisted of four factors: Sophisticated, Classic, Casual, and Elegant images. Findings showed significant differences in the four factors of brand image and cognitive brand value between the BI color groups. Also, the factor of cognitive value was higher for achromatic or beige brand color groups, than for vivid or pink color groups. Also, brand image factors had positive effects on cognitive or emotional brand value. Especially, the factor of emotional value was more likely to increase purchase intentions than cognitive value in the BI color groups. The implications for managerial decision marking in fashion marketing strategy were also discussed.

색차 정보를 이용한 디지털 워터마킹 (Digital Watermarking Using Color Difference)

  • 본 논문에서는 인간 시각 체계(human visual system) 특성과 DCT 계수 분포 특성을 이용하여 칼라 정지 영상에 효과적으로 워터마크 신호를 삽입하는 방법을 제안하였다. 일반적으로 인간 시각 체계 특성에서 무채색(achromatic) 신호보다 유채색(chromatic) 신호에 대한 변별력이 떨어지는 특성을 이용하여 입·출력 장치로 획득된 RGB 좌표계의 칼라 정지 영상을 무채색 성분과 유채색 성분으로 완벽히 분리되는 다른 좌표계로 변환하여 워터마크를 유채색 신호에 삽입한다. 워터마크를 검출하는 과정에서 원영상을 사용하지 않고 DCT 계수들간 고유한 특성을 이용하여 삽입된 워터마크를 추출하였다. 칼라 정지 영상을 실험한 결과 특히 비가시성 특성 부분에서 기존 방법들과 비교할 때 향상된 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

레이저를 이용한 박판 버의 정밀측정 (Precision measuring of burrs on sheet metal using the laser)

  • The sheet metal shearing process is normally used in the precision elements such as semi-conductor components. In precision elements, burrs usually reduce the quality of machined parts and cause interference, jamming and misalignment during assembly procedures and because of their sharpness, they can be safety hazard to personnel. Furthermore, not only burrs are hard to predict and avoid, but also deburring, the process of removing burrs, is time-consuming and costly. In order to get the burr-free parts, therefore, we developed the precise burr measuring system using the laser. The laser burr measuring system consists of the laser probe, the photo detector, the achromatic doublet lens, and the rotary & the X-Y table. In previous reports, we used simple vertical measuring method. But, as we used relatively bigger laser spot diameter and had the limited reflection angle, it was difficult to obtain the precise measuring results. So called, the spot size effect makes the profile of burr measured distorted and the burr height measured smaller. By introducing the novel laser measuring method which employing the achromatic lens system and the tilting mechanism, we could make the spot size smaller and get the appropriate beam direction angle. Through the experiments, the accuracy of the developed system is proved. The burr height measured during the punching process can be used for automatic deburring and in-situ aligning.

  • 본 논문에서는 이중 색지움 렌즈와 삼중 색지움 렌즈의 종색수차 보정식을 이용하여 가시광선 전대역에서 수차를 보정할 수 있는 유리 조합을 연구하고 수차가 보정된 두 렌즈를 결합하여 산업 현장에서 광범위하게 이용되고 있는 비전검사용 텔레센트릭 렌즈를 설계하였다. 그 결과 매우 넓은 파장대역 380 nm ~ 780 nm에서 파면수차를 $0.057{\lambda}$ 를 갖는 광학적 성능을 확보하였으며, 이는 기존에 시판중인 486.1 nm ~ 656.2 nm에서 수차가 보정된 텔레센트릭 렌즈들보다 우수하다는 것을 볼 수 있었다.

의복의 조형요소에 따른 캐주얼이미지 분류 (Casual Image Classification by Clothing Design Elements)

  • The purpose of this study was to classify the casual image by clothing design elements. This research was done by survey method with 30 kinds of casual image photos selected in fashion magazines. The data was analyzed by Reliability Analysis, Factor Analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's test and MDS. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Casual image was classified by 6 factors. Those were classic-casual, modern-casual, romantic-casual, vintage-casual, sexy-casual and active-casual images. 2. Classic-casual image was well-expressed by A silhouette, fit, chromatic and chromatic color coordinations and hard texture. Modern-casual image was well-expressed by H silhouette, fit and achromatic and achromatic color coordinations. Romantic-casual image was well-expressed by A silhouette, fit and soft texture. Vintage-casual image was well-expressed by H silhouette, combination apparel-fit, chromatic and chromatic color coordinations and fade-out texture. Sexy-casual image was well-expressed by fitted silhouette, tight apparel-fit and combination texture. 3. Casual image was positioned into mostly dynamic and modern on image scale.

20세기 말 밀리터리 룩 패션에 표현된 색채연구 - 1996년부터 2000년까지 패션잡지를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Color Expressed on the Military Look of the Late 20th Century Fashion - Focused on the Fashion Magazines from 1996 to 2000 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the color and color coordinations and their aesthetic values expressed in the military look designs from 1996 to 2000. The research data were gathered from Vogue and Collezioni Donna from this period. Total of 1004 works were collected and used for this study. The results were summarized as follows. In the colors of the military look, achromatic colors such as black and white were found to be of the highest quantity, which indicates that achromatic colors continued to be proposed as fashionable colors since 1996, and this influence was reflected in the military look. In terms of color coordination, monochromatic coordination accounted for 52.7% of the military look, through which it could be presumed that designers utilized it greatly to make an effective expression of the masculine image of the military designs.

파리 컬렉션에 나타난 밀리터리 룩 연구 (Analysis on the Military Look of the Paris Collections)

  • This study was aimed to analyze and investigate a diversity of aesthetic values expressed in the military look designs of the Paris collections by using content analysis method to find what design characteristic and image emerged in the later 20th century. A total of 267 military look works shown in fashion magazines such as Vogue and Collezioni Donna over the period between 1996 and 2000 were collected as research data, which were classified into 5 categories such as item, silhouette, color, color coordination, fashion image. The results were summarized as follows: first, it was found that coat was the most preferred item in expressing the military look image. Second, the straight line was the most referred silhouette, which indicates that it was the most suitable silhouette in expressing he bisexual image of the military look. Third, achromatic colors such as black and white were found to be of the highest frequency, which shows that achromatic colors continued to be proposed as fashionable colors around 1996 and this influence was effected in the military look. Finally, monochromatic coordination accounted for more than half of the military look, through which it could be explained that designers utilized it greatly to make an effective expression of the masculine image.

국내 타운하우스 단위세대 실내에 나타난 디자인 표현특성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Features of Design Expressed in the Interior Space of Townhouse Unit-Family in Korea)

  • Recently, Townhouse has emerged as a blue ocean of real estate market in Korea. In designing town houses, which are luxurious suburban houses centered around the capital area, the construction companies are using 'designer marketing' in which they hire interior designers and architects and express various styles of design in the interior space of the town houses. Therefore, this study examined the unit-family cases of Korean townhouses and analyzed the expression characteristics of design in the interior space of the town houses built after 2000 in terms of their spatial, morphological, material, and color aspect. "The extensibility of space" and "variableness of space" seem to have the same meaning, but they turned out to be not related to each other due to the particularity of houses. "The extensibility of space" turned out to show its characteristics via "the use of transparent materials." "Minimal form" utilizes the unified "achromatic and simple colors" to emphasize the simplicity and in some cases, highlights the use of original colors. The interior space of the townhouses expresses the traditional or heterosexual oriental image through "the use of natural materials," and they point out the "oriental form" through the controlled beauty expressed by using oriental components and "achromatic and simple colors."

모터쇼에 나타난 국내외 자동차 브랜드 레이싱걸 유니폼 디자인 연구 (Racing Girl Uniforms of Domestic and Foreign Automobile Brands at the Motor Shows)

  • This study analyzed the expressions of racing girl uniforms that promote automobile brands shown at Seoul and Busan motor shows. The results are as follows. In each of the design components expression, the glossy and plain material, the achromatic color, and the dress style appeared most frequently in the uniform design of both domestic and foreign automobile brands. In the fashion image expression, sexy image appeared the most, followed by modern image, romantic image, active image, elegance image and ethnic image. Based on the analysis results, the following expressive characteristics were identified: First, sexy images were used in uniform design to express the streamline and speedy feeling of a car metaphorically. Second, modern image, glossy material, and achromatic color were used for a uniform design to express advanced technology and the future orientation of an automobile. Third, fashion images that match the automobile type emphasized the brand image of the car. Fourth, some of the manufacturers that prevailed in the automobile market promoted several automobile brands exhibited with a unified uniform design that expressed the design philosophy and concept. As such, the motor show racing girl uniform contributed to promoting automobile brand identity and the automobile industry.

  • 본 연구는 공공디자인으로서 버스정류장 디자인에 있어 화훼식물 이용이 가능한 구도의 시설물계획과 제안에 목적이 있다. 계획에서 청주의 도시브랜드인 '직지'를 강조하기 위해 고인쇄박물관의 형태를 모티브로한 컨테이너를 디자인하고 시설물의 상층부에 설치 계획하였다. 설치될 디자인 요소들은 이용자 행태분석을 통하여 이용만족도를 높일 수 있는 시설물들을 계획하였으며, 프레임을 최대한 좁게 하고 벽면은 투명한 재질로 계획함으로써 이용자의 시야의 확장을 의도하였다. 형태의 장식성을 줄이고 색체 또한 무채색을 주도색으로 사용함으로써 주변과의 융화에 중점을 두었다.
