유채 품질 평가 현황과 전망 (Prospect and Situation of Quality Improvement in Oilseed rape)

  • Rapeseed(Brassica napus L.) is an important oil crop as a vegetable oil, concentrated feed and industrial materials. The name "canola" was registered in 1979 by the Western Canadian Oilseed Crushers Association to describe "double-low" varieties. Double low indicates that the processed oil contains less than 2% erucic-acid and the meal less than 3mg/g of glucosinolates. Today annual worldwide production of rapeseed is approximately 35 million tons on 24 million hectares. China accounts for 33% of the world production and the European Economic Community for nearly 32%. Canola ranks 3rd in production among the world's oilseed crops following soybeans, sunflowers, peanuts and cottonseed. The recent advances in genomics and in gene function studies has allowed us to understand the detailed genetic basis of many complex traits, such as flowering time, height, and disease resistance. The manipulation of seed oil content via transgene insertion has been one of the earliest successful applications of modern biotechnology in agriculture. For example, the first transgenic crop with a modified seed composition to be approved for unrestricted commercial cultivation in the US was a lauric oil, rape-seed, grown in 1995. There were also some significant early successes, mostly notably the achievement of 40% to 60% lauric acid content in rapeseed oil, which normally accumulates little or no lauric acid. The name "$\textrm{Laurical}^{TM}$" was registered in 1995 by Calgene Inc. Nevertheless, attempts to achieve high levels of other novel fatty acids in seed oils have met with much less success and there have been several reports that the presence of novel fatty acids in transgenic plants can sometimes lead to the induction of catabolic pathways which break down the novel fatty acid, i.e. the plant recognizes the "strange" fatty acid and, far from tolerating it, may even actively eliminate it from the seed oil. It is likely that, in the future, transgenic oil crops and newly domesticated oil crops will both be developed in order to provide the increased amount and diversity of oils which will be required for both edible and industrial use. It is important that we recognize that both approaches have both positive and negative points. It will be a combination of these two strategies that is most likely to supply the increasing demands for plant oils in the 21st century and beyond.ant oils in the 21st century and beyond.

Measuring Sport Tourist Motivation: Implications for Sport Tourism Distribution

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study was to develop a motivation scale for participation sport tourism and to produce implications of potential use of MSPST for sport tourism distribution emphasizing the needs of sport tourists and the functions required to satisfy those needs. Research design, data, and methodology - The Motivation Scale for Participation Sport Tourism (MSPST) was developed in three stages. A literature review generated 8 dimensions with 42-items in the first stage. Second, an expert review phase refined the initial item pool, which resulted in 35 items. Result - Exploratory factor analysis was employed to produce an 8-factor, 28 item pool. The reduced version was confirmed via structural equation modeling, indicating an acceptable model of fit. The final MSPST consisted of 8 dimensions of motivation, including friendship, family, solitude, challenges, intrinsic, achievement, nature, and competition. Conclusions - The MSPST is a valid and reliable scale of tourists' motives for participating in sports. The results supported the suggested measures of motives associated with participation sport tourism regarding construct, convergent and discriminant validity. A body of knowledge about motives provides insights for policy-makers seeking to support distributional industries for sport tourism and finally to promote economy on both regional and national levels.

초등학생을 위한 SW 교육과정 표준 모델 개발 (A Development of the Software Education Curriculum Model for Elementary Students)

  • 2015 개정 교육과정에 따르면, 초등학교 SW교육은 실과 교과에서 17시간이라는 제한된 시간을 할애하고 있어, SW교육의 목적을 달성하는 데 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 초등학교 SW 교육과정에 대한 표준 모델을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 국내외 SW 교육과정을 분석한 후 SW 내용 체계를 소프트웨어, 컴퓨터 시스템, 융합활동 등 3개 영역으로 구분하고, 하위 영역을 10개 영역으로 구분하였다. 또한, SW 교육 내용을 학년의 구분없이 학습할 수 있도록 무지개 색을 이용하여 7단계로 구분하였다. 향후 제안된 교육과정 모델을 토대로 교재와 교구를 개발하여 보급한다면 학교 현장의 SW교육 발전에 기여할 것이다.

치과기공사의 직무만족 요인이 이직의사에 미치는 영향 분석 (Analysis of the effect of dental technicians' job satisfaction factor on turnover intention)

  • Purpose: This study aimed to determine dental technicians' job satisfaction levels and to assess its influence on turnover intention. Methods: We included 230 dental technicians who work within Seoul, Incheon, Daejeon, the Gyeonggi Province, and the Chungcheongnam-do Province. We carried out a self-reported survey using a structured questionnaire. Results: As a result of assessing the research subjects' job satisfaction level, we found that there was a significant difference in working hours and a dental-work continuing plan sphere (p<0.05). Achievement & self-realization factors, the human relation factor, and growth & development factors were reported to be major job satisfaction indices. The whole average of the job satisfaction level came to 3.11, thereby appearing to be relatively high. In analyzing the research subjects' turnover intention, there was a significant difference in age, task field, dental-work career, working hours, incumbency, and dental-work continuing plan sphere (p<0.05). The question average for turnover intention was 2.88. As a result of assessing a correlation between job satisfaction and turnover intention, a significant negative (-) correlation was found between job satisfaction and turnover intention. Thus, a higher job satisfaction level was observed to lead to a lower turnover intention. Conclusion: As a result of conducting a regression analysis in order to assess the influence of job satisfaction on a turnover intention, a working condition factor, a human relation factor, and a recognition factor each appeared to have a high impact.

일부 남자 고등학생들의 사회·심리적 스트레스와 우울과의 관련성 (Relationship between Self-Perceived Psychosocial Stress and Depressive Symptoms among Male High School Students)

  • 본 연구는 남자 고등학생들의 사회 심리적 스트레스와 우울과의 관련성을 파악하며, 우울에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명할 목적으로 실시하였다. 조사대상은 D광역시의 남자 고등학생 573명으로 하였으며, 2015년 10월에 자기기입식 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과, 조사대상 학생들의 사회 심리적 스트레스의 분포는 건강군 14.8%, 잠재적 스트레스군 71.9%, 고위험스트레스군 13.3%이었으며, 우울수준의 분포는 정상군 71.4%, 경도 우울군 25.3%, 중등도 우울군 3.0%, 중증 우울군 0.3%이었다. 조사대상 학생들의 우울수준에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 주관적인 건강상태, 아침식사 여부, 수면시간, 학교성적, 고민거리, 학교생활에 대한 만족도, 가정의 경제 상태 및 사회 심리적 스트레스가 선정되었으며, 특히 사회 심리적 스트레스는 우울수준과 높은 관련성이 있음을 시사하고 있어 학생들의 스트레스 관리에 대한 필요성이 강조된다.

유-헬스케어 서비스 소프트웨어아키텍쳐 품질확보를 위한 요구사항 분석방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Analytical Methods of u-Healthcare Services Software Architecture Requirements for Quality Assurance)

  • 모든 의료정보시스템에는 이해관계자와 환경이 존재한다. 의료정보시스템 개발 시에는 이 같은 환경에서 사용자의 기능적 요구사항과 비기능적 요구사항인 품질을 만족시켜야할 목표가 있다. 이 목표를 달성하기 위하여 현재 다양한 방법으로 정보시스템 개발이 이루어지고 있고 다양한 애플리케이션이 등장하고 있다. 그러나 이 같은 의료정보시스템 개발의 과정에서 기본적인 요구조건을 만족하고 있는지는 별도의 관점에서 고찰하지 않으면 안 된다. 본 연구는 유-헬스케어 서비스 소프트웨어아키텍쳐 품질확보를 위한 요구사항 분석방법을 제안한다. 의료정보시스템의 요구사항 분석을 통해 소프트웨어아키텍처 품질평가 사항과 의료정보서비스 품질평가 연계지표 평가방식을 제안했다. 이 방법은 연계성 팩터의 품질 합계치를 산출하고 그 추이를 분석하므로서 유-헬스케어 소프트웨어아키텍쳐에 대한 종합평가가 가능하게 한다. 품질평가는 요구사항 분석에서 도출된 목표와 비교하여 달성도를 분석하며 만족도 수준이 미진한 분야를 발췌하여 원인분석 및 개선작업에 활용이 가능하다.

방카슈랑스 담당자 핵심역량모델 개발 (Developing core competence model for Banasurance personnel)

  • 본 연구는 국내 금융서비스 담당자 중 방카슈랑스를 대상으로 교육을 실시하는 교육전문가들을 대상으로 방카슈랑스 업무를 수행하는 담당자들이 업무를 수행하는데 필수적이라고 인식하는 역량은 무엇이고 특히 그 중에서 업무의 성과와 관련하여 중요하다고 인식하고 있는 역량이 무엇인지를 탐구하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구, 1차 워크숍, 2차 워크숍을 진행하고, 역량전문가를 대상으로 추가 워크숍을 수행하여 방카슈랑스 담당자에게 필요한 역량은 무엇인지를 도출하였다. 또한 마지막으로 방카슈랑스 담당자를 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 연구결과의 타당성을 높였다. 최종적으로 성취지향성, 영향력, 제안력, 대인이해, 전문성, 관계형성, 호감도관리, 주도성, 감정절제, 자기개발, 성찰적자기확신, 문제해결, 자기주도적 업무수행, 정보수집활용, 계획수립, 개념적사고, 긍정적 자아 인식의 17개의 역량명과 역량 정의가 도출되었으며, 이 역량 중 담당자들의 육성을 위해 필요한 중요도 조사 결과, 성취지향성, 영향력, 제안력, 관계형성, 자기개발 등의 역량이 주요 역량을 인식되고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 도출된 역량모델을 통해, 방카슈랑스 담당자들에게 필요한 핵심역량과 그 내용을 기반으로 현장에서 해당 업무를 성공적으로 수행할 수 있는 인력을 채용하고 육성하는데 활용될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다.

과학 영재의 역량 탐색 및 역량 사전의 개발 (A Study on Science-gifted Students' Competency and Development of Competency Dictionary)

  • 최근 과학 영재 교육 대상자의 선발 제도로 관찰 추천제가 도입되었으며, 이는 잠재적 역량이 높은 과학 영재를 파악할 수 있는 신뢰롭고 타당한 선발 기준의 마련을 요구하고 있다. 이에 이 연구에서는 과학 영재의 내적 속성에 대한 변별을 도울 수 있는 역량을 탐색하고, 이를 사전화하였다. 검증된 선행 역량 사전/모델로부터 역량을 추출하고, 구조화된 설문과 초점 집단 면접을 통해 과학 영재의 역량을 규명하였다. 연구 결과, '목표 제시', '계획 수립', '정보 수집 및 분석', '문제 해결', '고차원적 사고', '전문 지식 및 자기 개발'의 6개 역량으로 구성된 인지적 역량군과 '자신감', '성취 지향성', '호기심'의 3개 역량으로 구성된 정의적 역량군을 도출하였다. 그리고 도출된 역량을 바탕으로 역량명과 역량에 대한 정의, 핵심 요소, 행동지표와 수준으로 구성된 역량 사전을 개발하였다. 이 연구 결과는 관찰 추천을 통한 잠재적인 과학 영재의 선발 기준에 대한 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

중학교 수학 교육과정 및 교과서 내용의 양과 난이도 수준 분석 (Analysis of the Quantity and Quality of the Contents of Junior High School Mathematics Curriculum and Textbooks)

  • There seems to be a public consensus that the content of Korean mathematics textbooks is extensive and of a high level of difficulty. However, such judgment is the result of a generalization based on individual experience or on the results from comparisons of the international levels of achievement. Therefore, a more objective and stricter approach to the determination of the quantity and level of difficulty of mathematics content is necessary. For this purpose, this study has compared the content of Koreas 6th and 7th junior high school curriculums, and the Korean mathematics curriculum to textbooks of the United States, which has a considerable influence on the making of Korean mathematics textbooks. First of all, a comparison of Koreas 6th and 7th junior high school mathematics curriculums showed a slight reduction in the total quantity of content, as more content was deleted than was added in the 7th curriculum. However, given the fact that the number of hours of mathematics classes has been reduced, the reduction in content cannot be regarded as anything more than a simple reflection of the reduction in hours, proving that the 7th curriculum has not met its revision objective of reducing the content by 30%. Meanwhile, the comparison of the United States junior high school mathematics textbooks to Korea's 7th curriculum showed that the 7th grade content in the United States was much broader, encompassing content which in Korea ranged from the 2nd grade of elementary school to the 2nd year of junior high school. Therefore, on the surface, it may appear that the overall level of content in the American mathematics textbook is lower than that of the Korean. However, there are several cafes, such as statistics and probability, where certain content was more difficult and introduced at an earlier grade in the United States than in Korea. In fact, it can be said that Korea students tend to find content of the mathematics textbooks to be harder than they actually are because they are delivered as a mere aggregate of algorithms, with little consideration to its application in their everyday lives. In this respect, there is much room for improvement on the mathematics textbooks of Korea.

Occupational Health Management in the Lead Industry: The Korean Experience

  • In 1967, the problem of occupational lead exposure came to public attention in Korea. Since then, regular progress has been made in lowering workplace lead exposures, instituting new workplace controls, and implementing health examinations of exposed workers. Past serious lead poisoning episodes made it possible to introduce biological monitoring programs on a voluntary basis in high-lead-exposure facilities in Korea. Industry-specific occupational health services for lead workers in Korea during the last 22 years can be categorized into three phases. During the first phase (1988-1993), efforts were directed at increasing awareness among workers about the hazards of lead exposure, biological monitoring of blood zinc protoporphyrin began, and a respiratory protection program was introduced. During the second phase (1994-1997), a computerized health management system for lead workers was developed, blood-lead measurement was added to biologic monitoring, and engineering controls were introduced in the workplace to lower air-lead levels to comply with air-lead regulations. Finally, during the third phase (1998-present), a new biomarker, bone-lead measurement by X-ray fluorescence, was introduced. Bone-lead measurement proved to be useful for assessing body burden and to demonstrate past lead exposure in retired workers. Occupational health service practice for lead workers, including the industry-specific group occupational health system, has brought considerable success in the prevention of lead poisoning and in reducing the lead burden in Korean lead workers during the last several decades. The successful achievement of prevention of lead poisoning in Korea was a result of the combined efforts of lead workers, employers, relevant government agencies, and academic institutes.
