The purpose of this study is to understand the mediating effect of grit in the relationship between academic achievement satisfaction and Academic Engagement of middle school students. To this end, a survey was conducted on 575 middle school students in Changwon, Gyeongsangnam-do, on academic achievement satisfaction, Academic Engagement, and grit. This research was carried out by hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to understand the correlation analysis and mediating effect between major variables, and The significance of the mediating effect was verified by the Sobel test. As a result of the study, First, correlation analysis revealed a positive correlation between academic achievement satisfaction, grit, and Academic Engagement. Second, regression analysis showed that both consistency of interest and perseverance of effort were partially mediated between academic achievement satisfaction and Academic Engagement. This means that academic achievement satisfaction not only directly affects middle school students' Academic Engagement, but also has an indirect effect through grit. Finally, In order to increase the academic enthusiasm of middle school students, learning counseling plans such as education and counseling plans to improve academic interest and develop various learning motivation improvement programs were discussed.

This study was carried out to examine the converging factors related to academic burnout in students from health-related majors who are involved in studying for the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC). Research subjects included 291 randomly selected students from the J-region, who were enrolled in TOEIC classes. Data collection took place from April 3, 2017 to April 14, 2017, using anonymous self-administered questionnaires. The results of a multiple regression analysis in female students showed higher academic burnout pertaining to studying for the TOEIC when sleeping hours, self-worth, self-efficacy, school adaptation resilience, and study immersion were low, and job-seeking stress and test anxiety were high. The explanatory power of this model was 65%. Based on these results, to reduce academic burnout pertaining to studying for the TOEIC in health majors, it is first necessary to increase sleeping hours, self-worth, self-efficacy, school adaptation resilience, and study immersion, and to make efforts to manage self-competence, job-seeking stress, and test anxiety. The results of this study may be used to decrease the academic burnout caused by studying for the TOEIC in health major students and to increase their aptitude for studying English, to cultivate globalized capabilities. Future studies need to conduct an effect analysis on the control and mediation effect that these factors have on academic burnout.

Purpose: This study aims to measure the level of satisfaction with the overall education of current students, who are major consumers of education by department at the Health Care Convergence University, and to establish development strategies such as improving education quality and satisfaction by deriving problems and improvements. Research design, data and methodology: This study drew conclusions through secondary data analysis based on data surveyed by the Educational Performance Management Center of a university in the academic year of 2020. The target of the education consumer satisfaction survey was 470 students of the College in the academic year 2020. Frequency analysis and correlation analysis were applied to the data using the statistical package program SPSS 25 version. Results: In the major curriculum satisfaction survey, the department with the highest score was optics and optics, 4.11, and the department with the lowest score was medical IT, 3.29. Conclusions: The department with the highest correlation in the correlation analysis result of the demand survey by department was the Department of Medical Management and the Department of Medical IT, with a correlation coefficient r=0.984, and the lowest correlation in the correlation analysis result of the demand survey by department was the Department of Medical IT and Dental Hygiene, with a correlation coefficient r= -0.085.

The purpose of this study was to review and analyze JEMM(The Journal of Economics, Marketing, and Management) of ICMA(The International Convergence Management Association) and all of published articles of 2013 to 2016 and to revise and update the existing publication strategies in order to improve the internationalization and reputation of JEMM. JEMM of ICMA is a new academic journal of Korea Distribution Science Association(KODISA). It is still in its early stage as it is founded in 2013 as an academic journal to increase an recognition through KCI Candidate application under National Research Foundation of Korea(NRF). It endeavors its efforts to be recognized as a reputable international journal. This study was conducted to confirm the current status of JEMM in the current standards and to establish a strategic process to complement the deficiencies and achieve the goals. JEMM of ICMA has three distinguished features of online submission and review system, only English-based papering, reviewing by anonymous refrees. JEMM of ICMA continuously revised and updated its publication standards and practices and adopted technological support systems to enable its journals to remain independent and open access in order to ultimately become one of the most international journals.

Recently, there has been a growing interest in SW education for non-SW major in order to nurture SW convergence talent. In Korea, it is a tendency to make SW mandatory for basic education to all students regardless of their major, starting with SW-oriented universities. Through a case study of programming lesson, the paper compared differences in academic achievements and difficulties of learning between SW majors and non-majors and between the humanities department and the science department. As a result, although there was no significant difference in academic achievement according to majors, the humanities department had more difficulty in implementing programs such as practices, assignments, and team project. Through the interview, lack of understanding about programming problem itself, lack of relationship with friend or tutor that can help assignments, and difficulty in learning motivation by piecemeal curriculum knowledge alone were the main causes. The results will be expected to propose the direction of SW education for non-SW majors.

Recently the convergence of Bio technology(BT) and Information technology(IT) based on Nano technology has just emerged into several types of convergence technologies, therefore, this research paper examined and suggested the needs of why BT, IT and NT should be converged into new types technologies through analyzing the existing papers and documents. Among the several types of convergence technologies, this study focused on the types of BIT and BNT only through Delphi research method, and finally laid out the most important 7 specific kinds of technologies of BIT and 10 of BNT, which will give insights of cross-understanding and cross-imagination to institute side, business side, and academic side when they do research and business development of future convergence technologies together as cooperation between.

This study analyzed the current status of the convergence departments of universities from 2019 to 2023. The number of installation increased from 430 in 2019 to 649 in 2023. The accumulated number of abolition increased from 177 to 509 at the same period. Many were suddenly installed without enough readiness. The convergence department bubble phenomenon began to extinguish in 2022. The number of the convergence departments in academic division was more in the order of engineering, humanities and social sciences, natural sciences, and arts and sports every year. The proportion of engineering decreased and that of humanities and social sciences increased. The number of sub-division installing convergence departments increased from 65 to 81 during 5 years. Convergence education was in the process of gradually spreading to various fields.

The purpose of this paper is to improve academic understanding of middle school students' academic problems by examining their impact on Academic Engagement and Academic Burnout, and to provide basic data to them in preparing various solutions. The Multiple Regression analysis was conducted on 388 middle school students to check the degree of influence on Academic Engagement and Academic Burnout, environmental Variables (parent relationship, friend relationship, teacher relationship) and individual Variables (life satisfaction, happiness, Self-Esteem, autonomy, Attention focused, Grit, depression). According to the analysis of 388 middle school students, the factors affecting Academic Engagement were: attention concentration, teacher relationship, persistence, self-respect, life satisfaction, parent relationship, depression and happiness. Second, the factors affecting Academic Burnout were depression, teacher relationships, friend relationships, parent relationships, persistence, self-respect, and attention. Since then, these findings have suggested directions and implications to prevent Academic Burnout, of middle school students in Korea and to them to Academic Engagement.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of academic stress, department satisfaction, interpersonal relationship satisfaction of academic achievement in female nursing students. Data were collected from 159 female nursing students in B city and analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. The degree of academic achievement in female nursing students was 3.74±0.84. There were significant differences in academic achievement with career plan (t=2.672, p=.008), There was negative correlation between academic achievement and academic stress (r=-.371, p<.001), positive correlation between academic achievement and department satisfaction (r=.472, p<.001), interpersonal relationship satisfaction (r=.301, p<.001). The factors affecting academic achievement of the study subjects were academic stress (β=-.262, p<.001), department satisfaction (β=.403, p<.001), with an explanatory power of 26.3%. Through the result of this study, it is necessary to development various program that can improve academic achievement in female nursing students.
