  • This paper describes object-based operating system to suppeor relability and abstract data type. For reliability, all objects should be accessed through access rights in capability, and the protection domain is provided for all program modules such that efficient domain switching can be achieved. For abstract data type, type manager is provided.

  • In this paper, we present a fixed point theorem for a family of generalized condensing multimaps which have ranges of the Zima-Hadžić type in Hausdorff KKM uniform spaces. It extends Himmelberg et al. type fixed point theorem. As applications, we obtain some new collective fixed point theorems for various type generalized condensing multimaps in abstract convex uniform spaces.

  • In this paper, first, we present new fixed point theorems for Mönch type multimaps on abstract convex uniform spaces and, also, a fixed point theorem for Mönch type multimaps in Hausdorff KKM L𝚪-spaces. Second, we show that Mönch type multimaps in the better admissible class defined on an L𝚪-space have fixed point properties whenever their ranges are Klee approximable. Finally, we obtain fixed point theorems on 𝔎ℭ-maps whose ranges are 𝚽-sets.

A Study on the Characteristics and Preference of the Symbol Mark Modeling Performance in Chinese Regional History Museums (중국 지역 역사 박물관 심벌마크의 조형적 표현 특징 및 선호도 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the performance characteristics and laws of the symbol mark design of representative regional history museums in China, as well as the preferences of Chinese audiences for the symbol marks of different types of Chinese regional history museums. First, the performance theme, performance type, and type performance tendency of symbol mark modeling of the regional history museums among the top 100 museums in China are analyzed. Second, design laws based on the interrelationship of performance theme types and design performance types are explored. Finally, the questionnaire survey is carried out to explore preference from the aspects of attention, readability, closeness, originality, aesthetics and comprehensiveness. According to the results, the theme of regional history is the most in terms of themes. As for the modeling performance types, the concrete type and the visualization of Chinese character are the most. According to the content characteristics of different performance types, the following model characteristics are formed: expressing the theme of regional history, architecture, and regional natural ecological environment through the concrete type, expressing the concept through the abstract type, and expressing the concept and implying some building features through the geometric abstract figure. The three forms of the literal type, the concrete type expressing architecture, regional history, and regional natural ecological environment theme content, and the abstract type expressing concept are combined with each other, and expressed through the visualization of character, the mixture of abstract and literal type, the mixture of concrete and abstract type, and the mixture of concrete and abstract literal type in the mixture type. According to the survey results, Chinese audiences have higher preference for the concrete type in the symbol mark performance type and the regional historical theme in the performance content.

  • In this paper, we evaluate first variations, conditional first variations and conditional Fourier-Feynman transforms of cylinder type functions over Wiener paths in abstract Wiener space and then, investigate relationships among first variation, conditional first variation, Fourier-Feynman transform and conditional Fourier-Feynman transform of those functions. Finally, we derive the conditional Fourier-Feynman transform for the product of cylinder type function which defines the functions in a Banach algebra introduced by Yoo, with n linear factors.

  • Topological semilattices with path-connected intervals are special abstract convex spaces. In this paper, we obtain generalized KKM type theorems and their analytic formulations, maximal element theorems and collectively fixed point theorems on abstract convex spaces. We also apply them to topological semilattices with path-connected intervals, and obtain generalized forms of the results of Horvath and Ciscar, Luo, and Al-Homidan et al..

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the features of inquiry activities using technology in the 2015 revised elementary science digital textbooks. For this, we analyzed the features of inquiry context and inquiry method presented in inquiry activities using three kinds of technology: Virtual experiment, virtual reality and augmented reality. As a result, firstly, the most common types of 77 inquiry activities were realistic type which shows the phenomenon actually and vividly as possible and realistic-abstract type which shows the phenomena with the abstract concepts. Second, the ways of using three technologies were different depending on the processes of inquiry and the sub-domains of science. For example, virtual experiment technologies were mostly used in the contents of physics and chemistry with the inquiry context of realistic-abstract type for investigating the relationship between variables of experiments and describing the phenomena mechanically. On the other hand, virtual reality and augmented reality techniques tended to be used more frequently in biology and earth science contents with the inquiry context of realistic type for observing and describing the phenomena. Finally, we discussed educational implications in terms of developing and applying technology-based inquiry activities.

Types of Lotus Patterns in Traditional Korean Textiles (한국 전통 직물의 연꽃무늬 유형 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to categorize the lotus patterns of traditional Korean fabrics. This study collected 169 fabrics of Korean lotus flower patterns and then made a list of era, configuration of pattern, type of artifact, findspot and holding institutions. It analyzes the characteristics of 251 kinds of lotus woven on 169 Korean fabrics, 251 kinds of lotus on 169 fabrics divided into Realistic Type, Design Type, and Abstract Type. They consist of 213 kinds of Design Type(84.8%), 21 kinds of Realistic Type(8.4%), and 17 kinds of Abstract Type(6.8%). The largest part of lotus patterns is Design Type. Design Types are subdivided into 14 types. This result contrasted with the conclusion of the research paper about peony patterns in Traditional Korean Textiles. The largest part of peony patterns was Realistic Types. Realistic Types of lotus patterns in Korean textiles are subdivided into 6 types. Korea has more diverse forms and a higher ratio of Realistic Types than China and this can be interpreted to reflect that there is a tendency in Korea to prefer natural patterns. Besides abstract Types are subdivided into 3 types. When the lotus flower patterns of Korea and China are categorized and similar types are compared, there are some unique patterns that appear only in Korea or China. Not only that, similar types display differences in pattern arrangement methods and portrayal among the two countries. If such study results are utilized, they can be grounds for distinguishing the production area of lotus flower textile fabrics when they are newly excavated in the future.

Why SNS Sites Are Using Advertising Models Like You: An Explanation from Construal-Level Theory

  • Based on the Construal Level Theory, we aim to study a most favorable fit among the advertising model, media type, and message construals, which are important factors in an advertisement. A two (social distance of the ad model in an ad: distal (low similarity) vs proximal (high similarity) by two (social distance of a media type: distal (portal) vs. proximal (SNS)) by two (message construal: abstract vs concrete) laboratory experiment was conducted to examine attitude changes on ad messages. The results show that abstract messages were more effective in attitude toward advertisement and purchase intention under the distal social distance (i.e. advertising model in low-similarity and portal media type) while concrete messages were so under the proximal social distance and SNS media type.
