액티브 공진 콘덴서를 이용한 소프트 스위칭형 PWM 전력변환기에 관한 연구 (A study on PWM power conversion system by soft switching type using active resonant condenser)

  • The power conversion system must be increased switching frequency in order to achieve a small size, a light weight and a low noise. This paper proposes a skillful and a concise PWM DC-DC converter employing both zero voltage and zero current high frequency switching(ZVCS) operation. The Proposal ZVCS circuit is composed with resonant circuit using active resonant condenser. And this circuit provides switches with ZVS and ZCS by quasi resonant only that switching transients appear. This operation results in reduction of stress and losses in the power devices and resonant components. Some simulation results are included to confirm the validity of the analytical results.

  • 위상천이 풀브리지 컨버터는 소자의 기생성분과 PWM의 위상천이를 이용한 소프트 스위칭을 통해 고효율을 얻을 수 있기 때문에 산업현장에서 널리 사용되어 왔다. 그러나 ZVS(Zero Voltage Switching) 범위가 한정적이며, 누설인던턴스에 의해 듀티 손실이 발생하고, 특히 경부하시 순환전류에 의한 손실 증가로 인해 효율이 낮아지는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 2차측에 프리휠링을 위한 스위치와 다이오드를 추가함으로써 기존의 위상천이 풀브리지(PSFB) 컨버터가 가지는 단점들을 극복한 새로운 소프트 스위칭 풀브리지 컨버터를 소개하고, 3kW급 프로토 타입을 통하여 그 유효성을 검증하였다.

  • 오늘날 산업이 발달함에 따라 산업현장에서는 높은 전력밀도와 전력변환 효율을 가진 전력변환장치를 요구하는 분야가 많아졌다. 현재 개발 중인 차세대 고속철도 역시 이러한 분야 중 하나로서 고효율 및 고성능 그리고 고밀도의 전력변환 장치가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 고속철도에 사용 될 배터리 충전장치의 새로운 제어방식을 제안한다. 배터리 충전장치용 위상천이(PB;Phase shift) FB(Full-bridge) ZVZCS 컨버터는 크게 1차 측 보조회로를 갖는 방식과 2차 측 보조회로를 가지는 방식으로 분류할 수 있다. 전역통과필터를 사용한 PWM 스위칭기법은 2차 측에 공진회로를 갖는 ZVZCS 컨버터를 제어하기 위하여 제안되었다. 디지털 전역통과필터는 기존의 위상지연 IC 대신에 ATmega_128 마이크로컨트롤러에 의한 제어를 하였다. 제안된 토폴로지를 확인하기 위해 PSIM 소프트웨어를 사용하여 시뮬레이션하였고 1[kW] 축소모델을 제작하여 실험하였다.

  • A half-bridge ZVS-PWM converter with complementary switch is described in this paper. Zero Voltage Switching is analyzed taking into account the effect of the leakage inductor of transformer. The main advantages of this converter, that are high efficiency for low output voltage, soft-switching for primary and very small pulsation for DC motor, are shown in a simulation.

  • A new PWM-controlled quasi-resonant converter for a high efficiency PDP sustaining power module is proposed in this paper. The load regulation of the proposed converter can be achieved by controlling the ripple of the resonant voltage across the resonant capacitor with a bi-directional auxiliary circuit, while the main switches are operating at a fixed duty ratio and fixed switching frequency. Hence, the waveforms of the currents can be expected to be optimized from the view-point of conduction loss. Furthermore, the proposed converter has good ZVS capability, simple control circuits, no high voltage ringing problem of rectifier diodes, no DC offset of the magnetizing current and low voltage stresses of power switches. In this paper, operational principles, features of the proposed converter, and analysis and design considerations are presented. Experimental results demonstrate that the output voltage can be controlled well by the auxiliary circuit using the PWM method.

  • In this paper, the resonant switch model applicable to the DC and small signal analysis of the resonant converter is studied because the conventional PWM switch model can't be applied to the analysis of the resonant converter. The charge control is superior to the peak current control in QRC because QRC is operated in FM mode. So the charge control technique is adopted and used to compose the ZVS-QRC boost with feedback loop.

  • The grid voltage of commercial utility power source hi Japan and USA is 100rms, but in China and European countries, it is 200rms. In recent years, In Japan 200Vrms out putted single phase three wire system begins to be used for high power applications. In 100Vrms utility AC power applications and systems, an active voltage clamped quasi-resonant Inverter circuit topology using IGBTs has been effectively used so far for the consumer microwave oven. In this paper, presented is a half bridge type voltage-clamped high-frequency Inverter type AC-DC converter using which is designed for consumer magnetron drive used as the consumer microwave oven in 200V utility AC power system. This zero voltage soft switching Inverter can use the same power rated switching semiconductor devices and three-winding high frequency transformer as those of the active voltage clamped quasi-resonant Inverter using the IGBTs that has already been used for 100V utility AC power source. The operating performances of the voltage source single ended push pull type Inverter are evaluated and discussed for consumer microwave oven. The harmonic line current components In the utility AC power side of the AC-DC power converter operating at ZVS­PWM strategy reduced and improved on the basis of sine wave like pulse frequency modulation and sine wave like pulse width modulation for the utility AC voltage source.
