전기장에 의한 유기용액의 비등방 비선형 굴절율 (Electric Field Induced Anisotropic Nonlinear Refractive Index of Organic Solution)

  • 높은 정전기장이 인가된 유기용액의 분자배향도를 측정하는 수단으로 z-scan방법을 사용하였다. 무게비로 0.5%의 4-dimethylamino-4'-nitrostilbene을 cyclopentanone에 녹인 혼합용액을 시료로 z-scan실험을 수행하였으며 측정된 등방비선형 굴절율 $n_{2}$값은 $1.064{\mu}m$파장에서 $-0.905\times10^{-8}\textrm{cm}^2/MW$였다. 3.45KV/nm 정전기장을 인가한 경우에 측정된 $n_{2}$의 비등방비 값은 1.34였으며 분자배향도계수 $

    _4$값은 0.092 및 -0.128이였다.

Determination of the Vlasov foundation parameters -quadratic variation of elasticity modulus- using FE analysis

  • The objective of this research was to determine the Vlasov soil parameters for quadratically varying elasticity modulus $E_s$(z) of the compressible soil continuum and discuss the interaction affect between two close plates. Interaction problem carried on for uniformly distributed load carrying plates. Plate region was simulated by Kirchhoff plate theory based (mixed or displacement type) 2D elements and the foundation continuum was simulated by displacement type 2D elements. At the contact region, plate and foundation elements were geometrically coupled with each other. In this study the necessary formulas for the Vlasov parameters were derived when Young's modulus of the soil continuum was varying as a quadratic function of z-coordinate through the depth of the foundation. In the examples, first the elements and the iterative FE algorithm was verified and later the results of quadratic variation of $E_s$(z) were compared with the previous examples in order to discuss the general behavior. As a final example two plates close to each other resting on elastic foundation were handled to see their interaction influences on the Vlasov foundation parameters. Original examples were solved using both mixed and displacement type plate elements in order to confirm the results.

  • Let S denote the class of analytic and univalent functions in the open unit disk $D=\{z:{\mid}z{\mid}<1\}$ with the normalization conditions f(0) = 0 and f'(0) = 1. In the present article, an upper bound for third order Hankel determinant $H_3(1)$ is obtained for a certain subclass of univalent functions generated by Ruscheweyh derivative operator.

  • This paper proposes a new two-stage Z-source converter (TSZC). The purpose of the proposed system is to obtain the ac voltage with a maximum boost voltage for fuel cell applications as a renewable energy source. In order to provide a continuous current path, a switching strategy for the dc-ac ZSI and ac-ac ZSC of the proposed system was used. The operation principle, analysis and simulation results of 1.2 kW fuel cell stack were also presented.

  • In this paper, we deal with unicity of a nonconstant zero-order meromorphic function f(z) and its shift f(qz) when they share four distinct values IM or share three distinct values with multiplicities truncated to level 4 in the extended complex plane, where $q{\in}\mathbb{C}{\setminus}\{0\}$. We also give an uniqueness result for f(z) sharing sets with its shift.

집단관리 결핵환자들의 건강실태조사 -코오넬 의학지수의 응용- (A Survey on Health Status of Group Controlled Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patients -Application of Cornell Medical Index-)

  • This survey was conducted on a total 672 pulmonary tuberculosis patients who were registered at certain health center in Busan, during the period from July 15th to August 31st, 1977, based on Modified Cornell Medical Index(CMI) consisting of 70 questions. Number of 'Yes' response of an individual patients was collected by each large section of Modified CMI. The each number of 'Yes' response was standardized by mean of Z scoring. Z score was obtained by following formula. Z=50+10(Xi-m)/s M : means of 'Yes' response by each section for all subjects s : standard deviation of the mean Xi : number of 'Yes' response by each section in an individual patients The results of obtained were as follows: 1. The number of investigated cases were 672 (459 males and 213 females). The most prevalent group was 20-24 years old group as 18.4% by age, moderate advanced group as 50.8% by radiological diagnosis, INH+PAS+SM group as 34.7% by antituberculotics and unemployed group as 59.9% by occupation. By bacteriological examination of sputum, the rate of negative group was 60.5% and positive group was 39.5%. 2. Z score of complaints by sex was higher in female as 52.4 than in male as 48.9 in general. By radiological diagnosis, there was decreasing tendency with age in male but increasing tendency with age in female. 3. By age group, Z score of complaints was increasing tendency with age in male but there was non-significant differences in female. 4. By bacteriological examination of sputum, the Z score of complaints was increasing tendency with the more discharged bacteria in both sex generally. 5. By antituberculotics, INH group was revealed the highest Z score of complaints as 50.4 in male and INH+PAS group was the highest as 51.21 in female. 6. By occupation, agricultural and fisherman group was the highest as 53.5 and the next group was professional, technical and related workers, unemployed and sales workers in that order.

Zymomonas mobilis의 Plasmid Vector 제조에 관한 연구 (Construction of Plasmid Vectors for Zymomonas mobilis)

  • 알코올 생산성이 높은 Zymomonas 균주의 기질 이용성을 넓히기 위한 목적으로 natural replicon을 포함하며 적당한 항생제 저항표지를 갖는 plasmid vector의 제조를 시도하였다. Z. mobilis ATCC10988에서 분리된 몇 개의 plasmid중 3.9kb의 적당한 크기를 갖는 pZM3를 선정하여 수종의 제한효소로 처리하여 절편의 크기에 따라 유전자 지도를 작성하였다. pZM 3의 replicon과 pBR 325의 chloramphenicol 저항유전자를 포함한 재조합 plasmid인 pHZ22를 개발하고 이 plasmid vector가 숙주세포인 Z. mobilis ATCC31821에서 독립적으로 replication됨을 확인하였다. 또 하나의 항생제 저항표지로서 RP4의 tetracycline 저항유전자를 분리하여 pHZ22에 도입함으로써 pHZT224를 제조하였는데 이 plasmid vector도 Zymomonas로 conjugation에 의해 전이되어 안정하게 유지 되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 개발된 plasmid vector는 Z. mobilis와 E. coli에 공히 작용하는 shuttle vector 로서 외부 유전자를 Zymomonas에 도입시킬 수 있는 유용한 유전자 운반체임이 확인되었다.

배우자의 가족분만 참여범위에 따른 부부의 가족분만에 대한 태도에 관한 융합연구 (A Convergence Study about Married Couples' Attitude toward Family-Birth according to the Spouse's Participation Range of Family-Birth)

  • 본 연구는 가족분만에 배우자의 참여정도에 따른 부부의 분만에 대한 태도를 파악하기 위하여 시도하였다. 연구대상은 가족분만전체과정에 참여한 27쌍, 가족분만부분과정에 참여한 27쌍 총 108명이었으며 1차 자료는 가족분만 전에 직접수집하였고, 2차 자료는 가족분만 후에 이메일을 통해 수집하였다. 연구의 결과는 임산부의 직업(Z=-2.012, p=.044), 가족형태(Z=-2.177, p=.029)에 따라 분만태도에 유의한 차이가 있었고 계획된 임신에 따른 임산부의 가족분만 전 가족분만에 대한 태도에 유의한 차이가 있었다(Z=-2.543, p=.011). 배우자의 가족분만 참여범위에 따른 가족분만 전과 후의 가족분만에 대한 태도는 배우자가 가족분만 부분 과정에 참여한 경우 유의한 차이를 나타냈다(Z=2.302, p=.024). 본 연구 결과를 토대로 배우자에게 일방적으로 가족분만에 전 과정에 참여할 것을 제안하기보다 가족분만에 대한 배우자의 의견을 존중하여 참여의 범위를 정하도록 하는 것이 바람직하고, 가족분만 관련 산전교육의 기초자료를 개발하여 가족분만 전에 임산부와 배우자에게 가족분만에 대한 교육을 충분히 제공할 것을 제언한다.

Development of a 6-axis robot′s finger force/moment sensor for stable grasping of an unknown object

  • This paper describes the development of a 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor, which measures forces $F_x$(x-direction force), $F_y$and $F_z$, and moments $M_x$ (x-direction moment), $M_y$ and $M_z$ simultaneously, for stable grasping of an unknown object. In order to safely grasp an unknown object using the robot's gripper, the force in the gripping direction and the force in the gravity direction should be measured, and the force control should be performed using the measured forces. Also, the moments $M_x$, $M_y$ and $M_z$ to accurately perceive the position of the object in the grippers should be detected. Thus, the robot's gripper should be composed of 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor that can measure forces $F_x$, $F_y$ and $F_z$, and moments $M_x$ $M_y$ and $M_z$ simultaneously. In this paper, the 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor for measuring forces $F_x$, $F_y$ and $F_z$, and moments $M_x$ $M_y$ and $M_z$ simultaneously was newly modeled using several parallel-plate beams, designed, and fabricated. The characteristic test of the fabricated sensor was performed, and the result shows that interference errors of the developed sensor are less than 3%. Also, Robot's gripper with the 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor for the characteristic test of force control was manufactured, and the characteristic test for grasping an unknown object using the sensors was performed using it. The fabricated gripper could grasp an unknown object stably. Thus, the developed 6-axis robot's finger force/moment sensor can be used for robot's gripper.

인체폐암세포의 Bcl-2 family 및 cyclooxygenases의 발현에 미치는 해면동물 Sarcotragus sp. 유래 furanoterpenoids의 영향 (Regulation of Bcl-2 Family and Cyclooxygenases by Furanoterpenoids Isolated from a Marine Sponge Swcotragus nt. in Human Lung Cancer A549 Cells.)

  • 본 연구에서 국내 연근해에 서식하는 해면 Sarcotragus sp. (Dictyoceratida속)에서 분리 추출된 7종의 furanoterpenoid계 화합물〔sarcotin A, epi-sarcotin A, ircinin-1, epi-sarcotrine B, sarcotin I, (8E,13Z,20Z) -strobilinin/ (7E,13Z,20Z) -felixinin and (7E,12E,18R,20Z)-variabilin〕의 항암 활성을 비교하기 위하여 A549 인체폐암세포를 대상으로 그들의 세포독성을 조사하였고, 이와 연관된 세포증식 억제 및 apoptosis 유발에 관여할 것으로 예상되는 중요한 유전자 몇 가지의 발현에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 조사된 7종의 화합물 모두 처리 농도 의존적으로 A549 폐암세포의 증식을 억제하였는데, 그중 sarcotin A 및 (7E,12E,18R,20Z)-variabilin이 비교적 높은 세포독성을 나타내었다. 이러한 세포증식의 억제는 종양억제 유전자 p53 의존적 또는 비의존적으로 Bcl-2 유전자에 대한 Bax의 발현 증가와 연관된 apoptosis 유발과 관련이 있었으며, epi-sarcotin A, ircinin-1 및 epi-sarcotrine B 처리군에서 이러한 현상은 두드러지게 관찰되었다. 또한 epi-sarcotin A와 ircinin-1은 COX-1의 발현에는 아무런 영향을 미치지 않았으나, COX-2의 발현은 선택적으로 저해하였다. 이러한 결과는 해양 해면동물에서 유래된 furanoterpenoid계 화합물이 선택 적으로 강력한 항암효과를 가질 수 있다는 것을 의미한다.
