Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the prevalence of current smoking and the factors that influence current smoking among male high school students in Korea according to school type. Methods: Data were extracted from the Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey (2017) and multiple logistic regression was used based on complex sample analysis. The study sample comprised of 15,777 male high school students: 12,583 from general high schools (GHS) and 3,194 from specialized vocational high schools (SVHS). Results: The prevalence of current smoking was significantly higher in SVHS students (19.6%) compared to GHS students (12.6%). Low academic achievement, depressive symptoms, current drinking, and high household economic status were commonly associated with current smoking in male students from both school types. However, exposure to secondhand smoking at home, non-exposure to anti-smoking advertisement, exposure to tobacco advertisement, participation in smoking prevention or cessation education were related to current smoking in GHS students, while living in rural area was associated with current smoking in SVHS students. Conclusion: To reduce current smoking among male high school students, it is necessary to develop smoking prevention policies reflecting the factors associated with current smoking that are different by school type.

Purpose: This study is to compare adolescents' health behaviors by city size and to propose regionally tailored health promotion. Methods: We analyzed the data from the 17th Youth Health Risk Behavior Online Survey, national widly performed in 2021. Multi-sample descriptive and linear regression analysis was performed by city size. Results: The frequency of fruit consumption in the last week was 2.88 in the rural area, which is lower than 2.98 and 3.05 in other cities (F=10.98, p<.001). The number of high-intensity physical activity days in the last week (7 days) was 2.90 days in the rural area, higher than 2.74 and 2.73 days in other cities (F=3.36, p=.038). The number of days smoking cigarettes in the last 30 days was 3.23 days in the rural area, higher than 3.08 and 3.02 days in other cities (F=3.41, p=.035). BMI was 22.01 in the rural area, which was higher than 21.57 and 21.61 in other cities (F=4.19, p=.015). Conclusion: School health offices in the rural area districts need to operate to manage lack of fruit intake, smoking, and weight management programs in association with local healthcare institutions.

With accommodation of a population of many young people and families due to Hangang River New Town Housing Project and development of railway station spheres, a need is increasing to improve the quality of public libraries service for Gimpo citizens and to establish more libraries. This study thus analyzed the book lending data of Gimpo City libraries, and the city's libraries-related social media big data in an effort to forecast the users, and thus to propose four library service improvement measures. First, in terms of book gathering and book development policy plans, a proposal was made to expand good books for children and youth, and to expand general original-language books related to learning of English, and English books for children. Second, in terms of the establishment of additional libraries or specialization strategy, a proposal was made to establish exclusive children's libraries or English libraries, and to establish library specialization strategy with a focus on children and English themes. Third, in terms of library culture programs, a proposal was made to provide library culture programs in relation to children education and to expand weekend library culture programs. Fourth, in terms of library facilities, considering the convenience of parking facilities, a proposal was made to establish libraries near apartment complexes.

Career maturity and the acquisition of entrepreneurial knowledge are important in entrepreneurship education for youth, and the environments surrounding youths influence their mental state and academic achievement. This study aims to analyze the influences of an educational program and environment in entrepreneurship education for youths on the mindset and the entrepreneurial intention for proper career decisions according to the education climate and entrepreneurial knowledge. A total of 216 questionnaires were collected from students who participated in a creative and entrepreneurial tour of Incheon. After excluding 30 questionnaires with unreliable responses, 186 were empirically analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and Amos 18.0. The results show that the quality of education service and education environment decide the education climate, and the entrepreneurial knowledge has a positive influence on entrepreneurial intention. This research is significant because it strategically establishes directions for entrepreneurial education and as practical research for achieving outcomes of entrepreneurial education.

The purpose of this study was to examine the abuse experience of adolescents in out-of-home care on their psychosocial adjustment and the mediating effects of self-regulation skills. A survey was conducted on the adolescents who resided in the city of Busan and received out-of-home care service. The findings of the study were as follows: First, abuse experience was found to have exerted a negative influence on self-regulation skills. Second, abuse experience was found to have exerted a negative influence on psychosocial adjustment. Third, self-regulation skills were found to have exercised a positive influence on psychosocial adjustment. Fourth, self-regulation skills were found to have had a mediating effect on the relationship between abuse experience and psychosocial adjustment. The findings of this study were of significance in that neglect and emotional abuse should be prevented to promote the psychosocial adjustment of teenagers with abuse experience who are in out-of-home care, and in that the importance of the intervention of counseling programs which could foster the self-regulation skills of adolescents was urged.

This study presents the cases of 'Idea League' and 'Idea Company' designed to improve the creativity of youth, the protagonist of the future startup in 'Idea Maru' platform. The 'Idea League' is a service where youths suggest ideas about questions that require creativity, and it can be fun to compete rankings of ideas or directly evaluate other ideas. Besides, 'Idea Company' is a service for youths to establish a virtual company, and they can receive mentoring and simulated investment for the established virtual company. The result of this study suggests that gamification can be applied in non-game areas, and it will contribute to spreading positive perception of the game.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to identify the influencing factors of cell phone addiction in adolescents and to construct a cell phone addiction model for adolescents. Methods : Data from the 5th Korean Child-Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) was analyzed with the SPSS 20.0 and 23.0 AMOS programs. Results : According to the model of this study, depression had statistically significant direct effects while emotional characteristics and parental abuse had statistically significant indirect effects on cell phone addiction in adolescents. School life adjustment had statistically significant direct and indirect effects on cell phone addiction in adolescents. Conclusions : Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop prevention and intervention programs to combat cell phone addiction in Korean adolescents.

Objectives : This study aimed to investigate factors affecting multicultural acceptability of adolescents at individual and environmental levels. Methods : Participants were 2,032 first-year high school students who participated in the 4th-year Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey in 2013. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multilevel analysis. Results : Individual factors affecting multicultural acceptability of adolescents were health status, ego-resilience, and experience of visiting foreign countries. Learning activity, school regulation, relationship with teachers, and community spirit were significant factors at environmental level. Conclusions : Findings suggest that it is necessary to consider health status, improve positive resilience, activate a multicultural experience program, establish friendly relations with teachers, adhere to social norms, and strengthen community spirit for multicultural acceptability.

모바일 결제는 모바일 거래 성공에 중요한 역할을 하고 있는 요소이다. 모바일 간편 결제란 일반적으로 재화, 서비스 이용에 연관된 결제를 모바일 단말기로 처리하는 것을 말하는데. 모바일 폰의 높은 보급률과 사용자의 편리하고 즉각적인 결제에 대한 니즈에 의해 모바일 결제는 금전적 거래를 성사하는데 중요한 채널로 인식되고 있다. 모바일 간편결제 시장이 급성장세를 보이면서 카드를 갖다 대거나 인증만으로 결제하는 세상이 빠르게 확대되고 있다. 스마트폰 제조사를 비롯해 플랫폼 및 유통업체, 결제시장의 전통 강자인 각 금융사에 이르기까지 간편결제 시장의 주도권을 놓치지 않기 위한 경쟁도 더욱 달아오를 것으로 전망 된다. 그럼에도 불구하고 미래의 잠재적 주요고객이면서 현재 사용하고 있는 청소년들에 대한 모바일 간편 결제 서비스 이용현황에 대한 연구는 아직 미흡하다. 청소년들이 모바일 간편 결제에 대해 어떻게 생각하고 있는지 확인해 보고자 한다.

The government announced a number of policy on service industries and pushing. over the past 10 years. Important role in the service industry is a very large degree job creation, as well as employment impacts have had a stable employment skills. In June 2015 the Bureau of Statistics released the youth unemployment rate (15~29 years) showed a 10.2%. The service industry is recognized as one of the alternatives that can overcome the deteriorating economic situation this way. Is there a difference between industry by type what performance management is applied when this service was variable with a GWP of Korean? Can GWP variables are variables which are more important to recognize the service industry? GWP variables having a certain impact on the activities of the member teamwork, job involvement has what effect on? And the impact on business performance relationship who only proven case studies whilst also want to empirical verification.
