WGS reaction over Mo2C and ceria based catalysts was investigated to develop an alternative commercial Cu-Zn/Al2O3 catalyst for fuel processor and hydrogen station. The Mo2C catalysts were prepared by a temperature programmed method and the various metal supported cerium oxide catalysts were prepared by an Impregnation method. The catalysts were characterized by the N2 physisorption, Co chemisorption, XRD, TEM and TPR. It was found that Mo2C and 0.2wt% Pt-40wt%, Ni/CeO2 catalysts had higher activity and stability than the Cu-Zn/Al203 above $260^{\circ}C$. Moreover, CO conversion of more than 85% was observed at $280{\sim}300^{\circ}C$. But all catalysts were deactivated during the thermal cycling runs. The results suggest that these catalysts are an attractive candidate for the alternative Cu-Zn/Al2O3 catalyst for fuel processor and hydrogen station applications.

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are promising candidates for cell therapy and tissue engineering, but their application has been impeded by lack of knowledge of their core biological properties. In order to identify MSC-specific proteins, the hydrophobic protein fraction was individually prepared from two different umbilical cord blood (UCB)-derived MSC populations; these were then subjected to two-dimensional (2D) gel electrophoresis and peptide mass fingerprinting matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI)-time of flight (TOF)-mass spectrometry (MS). Although the 2D gel patterns differed somewhat between the two samples, computer-assisted image analysis identified shared protein spots. 35 spots were reliably identified corresponding to 32 different proteins, many of which were chaperones. Based on their primary sub-cellular locations the proteins could be grouped into 6 categories: extracellular, cell surface, endoplasmic reticular, mitochondrial, cytoplasmic and cytoskeletal proteins. This map of the water-insoluble proteome may provide valuable insights into the biology of the cell surface and other compartments of human MSCs.

대중의 관심인 공공이슈를 파악하기 위하여 다양한 종류의 빅데이터를 분석하는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 연구에서는 키워드의 노출 횟수만 파악하여 결과로 반영한다. 본 논문은 포털 사이트로부터 얻은 언론사별 뉴스 빅데이터를 이용하여 키워드별 노출 빈도수, 댓글 수 및 추천 수를 반영한 분석 방법을 제안하였다. 공공이슈를 추출하여 얻어낸 키워드들을 워드클라우드, Sankey다이어그램과 같은 형태로 시각화하여 사용자에게 제공한다. 제안된 방법을 사용하면 대중의 반응을 반영한 분석 결과를 확인 할 수 있다.

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the operation of continuing education system and continuing education program for emergency medical technician in Korea, Japan and United States and develop reasonable operating scheme of continuing education and curriculum in order to provide the base data for the improvement of continuing education for the improved practice capability and its maintenance, Method: The overall review of continuing education for domestic 1st class emergency medical technician was performed and also the content of continuing education for Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic in the United States and Paramedics of Fire Department with the license for the paramedic in Japan, have been analyzed through literature, books, articles, agencies' data, laws, and internet date. Result: Hours for domestic continuing education was 4-8 hours and it was only 3-11% compared to 72 hours in the United States and 128 hours in the Japan. And with respect to the types and methods of programs, there were differences both in quantity and quality. Conclusion: As an education, providing and supplementing the changed content and technical information for the improvement of the capability and qualification of emergency medical technician, selection of education hours and various continuing education should be continuously and regularly provided and conducted. The introduction of various continuing education system and programs for this is considered to be required.

Objective : The writer has come to see that a study of the Theory of Ministerial Fire of JuDanGae presupposes a study of earlier theories of fire. Therefore, I have analyzed and studied the theories of fire presented by medical doctors since "Nae Gyeong(黃帝內經)" Method : To begin with, I have studied the concepts of grand fire(壯火) and small fire(少火), imperial fire(君火) and ministerial fire(相火) in "Nae Gyeong", and have construed the meaning of human fire(人火) and dragon fire(龍火) by Wang Bing(王冰), and fatty fire(膏火) by Sohn Sa-mak(孫思邈). Next, I have studied true fire(眞火) by Huh Sook-mi(許叔微) and true yang(眞陽) and pit fire(坎火) by Eom Yong-hwa(嚴用和), Theory on Right Kidney as the Gate of Life and Ministeiral Fire(右腎命門相火說) by Yu Wan-so(劉完素), and the reason why Jang Wan-so(張元素) asserted Theory of Three Burners as Ministerial Fire(三焦相火說). Result : I have understood the influence that the concepts of grand fire and small fire, imperial fire and ministerial fire in "Nae Gyeong"have exercised on the later medical doctors, and have also understood the physiological and pathological Fire that influences the human body. Moreover, I have seen that Fire, as discussed by scholars from Huh Sook-mi and Eom Yong-hwa to Yu Wan-so and Jang Wan-so, made great contribution to the later development of Theory of the Gate of Life, getting its entire picture in Eum Hwa. Conclusion : Seeing that the theories of Fire presented by medical doctors since "Nae Gyeong" and prior to JuDan-Gae had great influence on the later development of Theory of the Gate of Life, I have come to understand that along with Eum Hwa by Lee Dong-wan, they must precede a study of the Theory of Ministerial Fire of JuDan-Gae.

The genetic diversity and population genetic structure of thread-sail filefish, Stephanolepis cirrhifer (Temminck & Schlegel), were examined with a nucleotide sequence analysis of a 495bp fragment of the 5'-end of the cytochrome b gene in 113 fish collected from five populations from the south and east coasts of the Korean Peninsula. Seventeen variable nucleotide sites and 16 haplotypes were defined. The observed haplotypes had a shallow haplotype genealogy and no geographical association. Most of the populations had high haplotype diversity and low nucleotide diversity, and significant negative values for Fu's $F_S$, suggesting rapid, recent population growth from an ancestral population and sudden population expansion. The estimated pairwise fixation indices ($F_{ST}$) indicate that substantial gene flow occurs among these populations. Thread-sail filefish in the South Sea of Korea and East Sea Korean populations forms a single panmictic population. Thus, thread-sail filefish in these areas should be treated as one management unit.

For a large sized, ultra definition (UD) and high refresh rate for motion blur free AMLCD TVs, amorphous IGZO thin film transistor (TFT) are applied and investigated in terms of threshold voltage ($V_{th}$) shift influenced by active layer thickness uniformity, source drain etching technology, heat treatment and passivation condition. Optimizing above parameters, we fabricated the world's largest 15 inch XGA AMLCD successfully.

New photopolymers were designed and prepared using the photosensitive polymer binders. Holographic gratings were successfully fabricated in these photopolymer samples by a conventional optical interference method. We also investigated the effect of photocrosslink in the polymer binder on the diffraction behavior of a new photopolymer. The dynamic behavior of the grating formation was monitored by changing exposure intensity in terms of the diffraction efficiency. Particularly, we focused our efforts in observing the variation of diffraction efficiency during a post UV curing process. The surface topographical change of photopolymer layer before and after Vis/UV light exposure was observed by atomic force microscope (AFM). We inscribed the gratings of the glass diffuser on the surface of the photopolymer and investigated their diffusing properties. The diffusers with photopolymer with the main chain polymer binder showed relatively good viewing angle of around ${\pm}30{\circ}$. Two kinds of photopolymer showed similar uniformity of around 47-54%.

Many biological properties and the clinical potential of human interleukin-2 (hIL-2) draw much attention to its high-level expression in mammalian cells. Recombinant human IL-2 (rhIL-2) was expressed in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells, using the recently developed expression system which confers position-independent expression. Stable CHO cell lines carrying several hundred amplified copies of the rhIL-2 gene were easily obtained and rhIL-2 was expressed at high levels after selection with increasing concentrations of methotrexate. Interestingly, the insertion of the transcription terminator of the human gastrin gene into the downstream region of the gene for rhIL-2 considerably increased rhIL-2 expression. Using the expression system with the transcription terminator, it was possible to get a CHO cell line expressing the rhIL-2 at a very high level, about $11.4\mug/10^6$ cell/day, which is about 6 times higher than that previously reported. The biological activity of the rhIL-2 protein purified from the cell line was also confirmed by the cell proliferation assay.

This study was carried out to assess hip joint in Labrador retrievers. From 1999 to 2004, 131 Labrador retrievers were tested by British Veterinary Association(BVA)/Kennel club(KC) scoring scheme, 66 were tested by $PennHIP^{(R)}$ method. In this study the mean score by BVA/KC scoring scheme was $12.5{\pm}6.6$ and the mean DI was $0.53{\pm}0.14$. It was found that Labrador retrievers of Samsung Guide Dog school have better hip joint condition than that of Labrador retrievers registered in BVA, and have similar mean DI to PennHIP breed mean score. This study suggested that using both BVA/KC scoring scheme and $PennHIP^{(R)}$ method was a specific method which can make the most possible definitive diagnosis, could provide baseline hip information for the hip joint in Labrador retrievers as Guide Dog.
