An Efficient Versioning Method for XML Document Repository System (XML 문서 저장관리 시스템을 위한 효율적인 버전닝 기법)

  • XML document repositary system(XDRS) should be able to manage vertical and horizontal versions of documents to store, update and manage XML documents without loss of information, However, most of existing XDRSs do not support a versioning method Although a few systems support versioning method. they only manage vertical versions of XML documents, While the vertical versioning preserves the update history of documents. the horizontal versioning branches a document to many other versions of documents so that users can easily create new documents from the original version and edit them to have different meanings. In this paper, we propose a new version numbering scheme to support both vertical and horizontal versioning efficiently. We also design a schema that supports versioning and preserves the paradigm of structure information.

  • Currently, XML and its schema language have become the standard for data representation and information exchange format on the current web. Unfortunately, problems happen when integrating different data sources since XML mainly supports the document structure but lack consideration on sharing knowledge of data. Meanwhile, Semantic Web technologies, such as Web Ontology Language (OWL), can include the structure as well as the semantics of the data. Therefore, finding a way to integrate XML data as OWL ontology receives a high interest nowadays. In this paper we present a mapping notation to convert XML Schema to OWL domain knowledge and an effective method to transform XML instances into OWL individuals. While keeping the XML original structure, our work also adds more semantics for the XML document. Moreover, whole of the transformation processes are done automatically without any user interference. Further, our transforming approach provides the solution for duplicate element names in XML document which has not mentioned in the previous work. Our results in existing OWL syntaxes can be loaded immediately by OWL editors and Semantic Web applications.

  • A method for automatic check of omitted design item in structural calculation document of steel box bridges is proposed. A method for automatic check of omitted design item in structural calculation document of steel box bridges is proposed. Information processing for the proposed method is divided into two steps: automatic generation of document structure in XML Schema Definition (XSD) format and extract omitted design items by using the XML Schema matching technique. The automatic omitted element filter is developed on the basis of the proposed method, and the accuracy of the developed module is examined with case study subjected to existing structural calculation document samples.

  • 최근 들어 이 기종 간의 문서 교환을 위해 SGML(Standard Markup Language) 문서보다 XML(eXtend Markup Language) 문서가 인터넷 기반에서 표준으로 자리잡고 있다. 앞으로 인터넷상의 수많은 정보들을 XML을 기반으로 할 것이고 이를 위해 문서 정보 검색 시스템이 필요하게 된다. 문서의 논리 구조를 표현하는 DTD(Document Type Definition) 기반으로 구조 검색을 할 수 있지만 본 논문에서는 XSL(XML Style Sheet Language) 문서에서 DTD의 Element를 지정하는 Pattern을 이용하여 문서 구조와 속성을 새로운 Tree로 표현하며 검색에 필요한 질의어 또한 XSL의 Pattern 자체를 이용하고 있다. 사용자에게 편하고 효율적인 검색 환경을 위해서 검색 인터페이스의 모형을 제안하였다.

  • The growing use of XML markup language has made amount of heterogeneous. XML documents are widely available in the Web. As the number of applications that utilize heterogeneous XML documents grow, the importance of XML document extraction increases greatly. In this paper, we propose a XML schema conversion technique that converts reusable XML schema from XML documents. We convert the schema graph and we use the reusability pattern list. The converted XML schema is evaluated in terms of cohesion, coupling, and reusability. The converted XML schema could be used to construct databases for various fields where XML is used as an intermediation of data exchange.

  • 본 논문에서는 XML 문서를 관계형 데이터베이스에 저장하는 XML 문서 저장 시스템을 제안한다. 제안 시스템은 XML 문서 구조인 DTD(Document Type Definition)를 보완한 XML Schema를 XML 문서의 기반 구조로 사용하며, 또한 XML 문서의 저장과 색인의 효율성 밀 유효성 검사를 위해 XML 문서에 대한 저장구조를 XML Schema와 XML Instance 문서간의 통함 정적 테이블과 필드들을 가지는 형태로 생성, 처리토록 하였으며, 그 결과 XML 문서와 XML Schema간의 구조상의 유효성을 증대시킬 수 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 웹 상의 데이터 표현 및 교환의 새로운 표준으로 인식되어 점차 그 교류의 앙이 중가하고 있는 XML 문서를 효과적으로 저장, 접근 및 검색하기 위한 기법에 대한 연구가 많았으나, 기존의 연구들은 데이터중심 문서의 특성이 두드러지는 XML 문서룬 대상으로 하는 것이 대두분이였다. 그러나 효과적인 XML 문서의 저장 및 검색을 위해서는 XML 문서의 실제 사용 목적이나 그 특성에 따라 XML 문서를 분류하여 각 특성에 맞는 저장, 접근 및 검색 기법을 개발하고 이를 통합한 XML 문서 저장 시스템의 개발이 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 통합 시스템 개발에서, 인간 이해 중심의 문서적 특성을 가지는 문서중심 문서를 위한 데이더 모델을 제안한다. 제안된 데이터 모델은 루트 노드가 존재하는 방향성과 순서가 있는 그래프 형태를 지원하며, XML 문서의 주요 구성 요소를 지원하는 여러 타입의 노드와 다양한 노드 사이의 관계를 표현하는 링크로 구성되어 XML 문서가 가지는 의미와 구조적 특징이 잗 표현되도록 하였다. 또한 모델링 후 손실되는 정보가 거의 없기 때문에, 다시 XML 문서로 변환하면 원래 XML 문서 그대로 복원되는 장점이 있어 문서중심 문서의 저장 및 검색을 위한 전용XML 저장 시스템에 적합한 데이터 모델이다.

  • XML is a meta-language as SGML and also can be xonsructed as an Internet versionof simplified SGML being used in confunction with XLL. Xpointer and XSL. Also W3C established DTDless Well-Formed XML document to use XML document on the Web. But it isnt offered system that consists of browsing, link and DTD generating facihty, and efficiently processes DTDless Well-Formed XML document. This paper studies on an implementation and design of system to process DTDless Well-Formed XML document on the client-side. This system consists of Well-Formed XML viewer displaying Well-Formed XML documet, XLL Processor processing Xll and Auto DTD generator constructing automatically DTDs based on multiple documents of the same class. This study focuses on automatic DTD generation during hyperlink navigation and an implementation of extended links based on XLL and Xpointer. ID and Xpointer location address are used as the address mode in the links. As a result of implement of this system, it conforms to validationof extended link facihties, extracts DTD from Well-Fromed XML Documents including same root element at the same class and constructs generalized DTD.

  • Many studies have been conducted to classify documents, and to extract useful information from documents. However, most search engines have used a keyword based method. This method does not search and classify documents effectively. This paper identifies structures of XML document based on the fact that the XML document has a structural document using a set theory, which is suggested by Broder, and attempts a test for clustering XML document by applying a k-nearest neighbor algorithm. In addition, this study investigates the effectiveness of the clustering technique for large scaled data, compared to the existing bitmap method, by applying a test, which reveals a difference between the clause based documents instead of using a type of vector, in order to measure the similarity between the existing methods.

  • In the distributed environment based on the network, we can get the necessary information by sharing or exchanging an information document. However, there is the difficulty for sharing and distributing of the information document because of the heterogeneity at the dist(equation omitted). In this paper, we propose(equation omitted) interchange structure based on CORBA for disposing of the information document and provide the mechanism for interchanging IDL to DTD by designing the converter within it.
