A Fast XML Encoding System for Fast Web Services (Fast 웹서비스를 위한 Fast XML 인코딩 시스템)

  • Web service in operating environment independent XML about under using, It dose so, Integration of the platform for it is different each other possibly it is doing. But XML in order to have the text data which is unnecessary plentifully with wireless Internet or the mobile communication modem in together relatively will connect frequently slow communication medium and there is a problem point which decreases the case prerequisite efficiency which the resources will use from the limited small-sized machinery and tools. Hereupon XML about under make binary the standard which reduces the size of the document from ITU-T and ISO/IEC it was under proposing with commonness, currently binary XML encoding where it is in the process of advancing standard there are Fast Infoset and Fast Schema. In this paper, implementation of Fast XML encoding system through introduction Fast Infoset algorithm and Fast Schema algorithm for web services increase performance.

  • Since internet and XML has come out, Web Services are regarded as a new paradigm of next generation's IT are becoming a leading technology to integrate the distributed applications on internet using XML based Platforms and distributed computing based on component technologies independent on implementing languages. Nowadays internet is generally used and the use of wireless internet is rapidly rising. The quantities of contents on the web-sites to manage and maintain are getting larger according to these trends and the update cycles are getting shorter It is necessary to solve these Problems that developing the systems which can effectively generate, maintain and manage the contents on the web-sites. In the paper, a system which can integrates wired and wireless services is designed and implemented using the technologies like XML based components, JWSDP, Wireless Server Side Script, WML editor and etc.,

  • The beginning of Web Services was understood as efficient technology for application integration in the internet, thus it was used to integrating the distributed enterprise applications or the e-business applications between partners. But, recently the usage trend of Web Services is largely spreaded out wireless network applications beyond the internet applications. The main reasons are that Web Services is the international standard of W3C, and Web Services is based on XML that is independent of the specific internal implementations such as platform, programming languages, communications networks etc. Currently Major company of Web Services such as MS, IBM, etc. focus on the research about technology for integrating various devices. In this paper, we define and explain technical issues for adapting web services to ubiquitous Environment.

A Study on Integrating UDDI and ebXML Registry Using Ontologies (온톨로지를 이용한 UDDI와 ebXML 레지스트리의 통합에 관한 연구)

  • ebXML and Web Services provide UDDI and ebXML registry for storing and managing the business and Service information of companies, respectively. Recently, W3C have released the OWL(Web Ontology Language) to Recommendation, and OWL-S proposed to describe the semantics of Web Services using the OWL ontologies. In this paper, we compared the OWL-S with the registry information model(RIM) of ebXML and the data structure of UDDI, and directly connect ones, which that of ebXML similar to that of UDDI; we extend the structure of the OWL to connect the rests. Consequently, our system enables to construct the ontologies of services and discover their semantics by using the information stored in the registries, and tintegrate UDDI, ebXML registry and OWL-S registry. By using the extending OWL-S documents in our system, agents can utilize for the semantic matchmaking.

Pedagogical Paradigm-based LIO Learning Objects for XML Web Services

  • In this paper, we introduce the sharable and reusable learning objects which are suitable for XML Web services in e-learning systems. These objects are extracted from the principles of pedagogical paradigms for reusable learning units. We call them LIO (Learning Item Object) objects. Existing models, such as Web-hosted and ASP-oriented service model, are difficult to cooperate and integrate among the different kinds of e-learning systems. So we developed the LIO objects that are suitable for XML Web services. The reusable units that are extracted from pedagogical paradigms are tutorial item, resource, case example, simulation, problems, test, discovery and discussion. And these units correspond to the LIO objects in our learning object model. As a result, the proposed model is that learner and instruction designer should increase the power of understanding about learning contents that are based on pedagogical paradigms. By using XML Web services, this guarantees the integration and interoperation of the different kinds of e-learning systems in distributed environments and so educational organizations can expect the cost reduction in constructing e-learning systems.

  • Nowadays, ebXML and Web Services are two major e-business frameworks, and ebXML Registry and UDDI play important roles in publishing and inquiring business partners' meta information. These two types of registries should be interoperated in order to interoperate two frameworks. In this paper we propose interoperation procedures for each case of interoperation, i.e. ebXML-based, WS-based, or Integrated Model-based Interoperation.

  • As the XML is approved standard language by the UN, the progress which complemented the XML security has being processed rapidly. In this paper, we design and implement the "XML-Signcryption" as a security mechanism to protect the XML document that can operate between other platforms. The signature and encryption which is the standard specification in W3C needs to be able to proceed them separately. Generally the signature and encryption require four times modular exponential operation, however the signcryption only needed three times modular exponential operation. This will benefit overall system effectiveness in terms of cost. And this scheme offers to convenient the user, because the signature and encryption implement as a single XML format. This tool can save the parsing time as a number of tags is few within a document. And also, in this paper, based on a research of Web Services security, we can apply XML-Signcryption to the SOAP message to provide the security services. Based on the XML-Signcryption scheme which provides confidentiality, integrity, authentication and non-repudiation to the XML document and Web Service security simultaneously.

  • Recently, ebXML and Web Services are emerging as the XML-based electronic business frameworks. To provide a set of registry services which users or applications can store and search the business information, ebXML and Web Services use ebXML registry and UDDI registry, respectively. They use the different registries each other, but there are something that similiar to the structure and functions of both of registries. In this paper, we analyze the similarity of ebXML Registry Information Model(RIM) and UDDI data structure, and construct the mapping information. So, we design and implement the UDDI Service Middleware which translates the request of UDDI registry service into the request of ebXML registry service using the algorithm. Consequently, we could use the ebXML registry like ebXML registry as well as UDDI registry without any changes in the ebXML registry itself so that we can not need to have both of registries for e-business.

  • 웹 서비스가 현재 산업에서 주요한 분산 컴퓨팅 기술로 대두되면서, 그에 따른 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 특히, 비즈니스 프로세스 관점에서 BPEL4WS (Business Process Execution Language for Web Services)와 같은 오케스트레이션의 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 또한, 웹 서비스의 주요 구성 요소중에 하나인 코리오크래피에 대한 부분은 W3C (World Wide Web Consortium)에서 현재 후보 권고안 수준인 WS-CDL (Web Services Choreography Description Language) 관련 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 이런 가운데 DERI (Digital Enterprise Research Institute)에서 WSMX (Web Services Execution Environment) 기반의 시맨틱 웹 서비스 분야의 코리오 그래피 연구를 시작하였고, 코리오그래피 불일치 (Mismatch)를 개념적으로 해결하는 방안인 프로세스 미디에이션 (Process Mediation)의 연구가 있었다. 이러한 연구들을 바탕으로 서로 다른 WS-CDL 상에서 특정 참여자가 코리오그래피 미디에이션을 하기위해서 개발된 XML 언어 WS-CML (Web Services Choreography Mediation Language)을 본 논문에서 제안한다.

  • Web-Mail Services are implemented with SMTP and POP3 in these days. These web mail services provide not only the basic sending and receiving functions but also additional functions for user. However, the sent and received data are stored in the web mail server. So general web mail users can't process their mail data if they have not access ID for the web mail server. In this paper, we design and implement WMIS (Web Mail Integration System) using XML. In the proposed system, mail data and user's environments in the old web mail system are transformed into XML documents and inserted into database. In order to store XML data into database, we use dynamic document processing method and analyze XML file by record unit. When the users change their mail accounts, they easily can establish the web environments and their mail data. Because the transformed XML document is converted into WML easily, the WMIS can reduce development cost, labors and time.
