  • Development of internet had centered on that offer universality of expression. But, graphic processing of expression center has many inconveniences because of method that is not structural in World Wide Web. Announced SVG that is XML application to permit efficient expression and storage of vector graphic expression, share in W3C to supplement these things. Therefore, because using SVG document in this treatise, edit vector graphic through interface that could edit expressed graphic object directly structural edit and screen that is offered in graphic edit system form and designed SVG edit system to express. This system may use usefully to efficient XML graphics processing on the GIS system and Mobile service environment and so on.

  • The widespreading of XML as a standard for semi-structured documents on the Web opens up challenging opportunities for Web query language. And UML is a graphical language to represent the result of object-oriented analysis and design. In this paper, we introduce an UML-based graphical query language for XML documents. The use of a visual formalism for representing the syntax and semantics of queries enables an intuitive expression of queries, even when they are rather complex. And, it is matched a series of processes to store and retrieve XML documents to OODBMS with the use of an uniform visualization for representing both the content of XML documents (and of their DTD) and the syntax and semantics of queries.

  • As Graphic Information is a intuitive, simple and definite media to transfer information to human, It is widely used and deserved as a information exchange and store media. But the graphic information is so abstract that a human may misunderstand that's real meaning. So In order to transfer a Exact information to a human, a additional picture and description is needed. So, in this paper, A authoring system is suggested that it can be able to give a additional information at each region in graphic information, and to structurize relations between each region and to give linking information between each region using XML Linking Notation. In this paper, An suggested authoring system is implemented to support a authoring facility which is to display graphical information of CGM(Computer Graphic Metafile) and BMP, and to define structural information by selecting each region of graphics image on screen directly, and to save that structural information and linking information with XML Linking notation, and to support a browsing facility which to find hot spot using a structurized graphic information and then to show a proper graph.

  • This paper presents a 3-D graphic database system based on XML that supports content-based retrievals of 3-D images, Most of graphics application systems are currently centered around the processing of 2-D images and research works on 3-D graphics are mainly concerned about the visualization aspects of 3-D image. They do not support the semantic modeling of 3-D objects and their spatial relations. In our data model, 3-D images are represented as compositions of 3-D graphic objects with associated spatial relations. Complex 3-D objects are mode]ed using a set of primitive 3-D objects rather than the lines and polygons that are found in traditional graphic systems. This model supports content-based retrievals of scenes containing a particular object or those satisfying certain spatial relations among the objects contained in them. 3-D images are stored in the database as XML documents using 3DGML DTD that are developed for modeling 3-D graphic data. Finally, this paper describes some examples of query executed in our Web-based prototype database system.

  • 최근 인터넷에는 기존의 문서나 이미지뿐만 아니라 3 차원 그래픽 데이터도 급속히 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라 3 차원 그래픽 데이터의 검색을 지원하는 웹 데이터베이스 시스템이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 필요성에도 불구하고 아직까지 3 차원 그래픽 데이터의 내용기반 검색에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 3 차원 그래픽 데이터의 내용기반 질의를 위한 XML 기반의 데이터 모델인 3DGML(3-Dimensional Graphic Modeling Language)을 제시한다. 또한 본 논문에서는 3DGML에 적합한 시스템 구조를 제시한다.

  • Svg(Scalable Vector Graphics) is xml graphic standard recommended by E3C as a language based on xml to express two-dimension graphic. Svg can accommodate all Xml's patency and advantage of interoperability, and can used as various web applications being combined with other xml language. In addition, Svg can be applied to the fields of electronic commerce, geographical information, computer education and advertisement because it can produce high quality of dynamic from real-time data. SVG's application can be enhanced by linking with database. In this paper, we discuss how Svg can be utilized in theater reservation system, not just explaining svg's meaning or ability. Svg added graphic advantage in addition to xml's advantage. This means that svg retains not only graphic element but also xml's softness. It becomes easier to designate seats and add them. Current reservation system provided in general only information on time and price for a ticket, but the system using SVG in this paper provides additional information on position, price, cancellation and purchase availability of seat.

  • 컴퓨팅 환경에서 GUI의 사용이 일반화되면서 다이어그램을 이용한 시스템이 많아지고 있는데 비해, 다이어그램을 이용하는 시스템을 개발하기 위해서는 많은 노력과 시간을 필요로 한다. 이것을 다이어그램의 각 그래픽 컴포넌트를 프로그램으로 개발하여야 하는 문제 때문이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 그래픽 편집기를 이용해서 다이어그램 컴포넌트를 기술하고, 이것을 XML 문서로 변환해서, 최종적으로 프로그래밍 코드를 자동적으로 생성하는 DML 시스템을 소개한다. 이 시스템은 다이어그램 컴포넌트를 그래픽 편집기를 이용하여 기술하기 때문에 쉽게 새로운 컴포넌트를 생성할 수 있으며, 생성된 컴포넌트는 XML 문서로 표현되고, 코드 생성기를 통해 프로그래밍 코들 변환되기 문에 프로그래밍 언어에 무관한 장점을 가지고 있다.가지고 있다.

  • Recently, there have been increased many 3 dimensional graphic applications in Internet. Thus, a growing number of methods have been proposed for retrieving 3-D graphic data using their 3D features such as color, texture, shape, and spacial relations. However, few researches focus on 3D graphic modeling and database storage techniques. In this paper, we introduce a system that can store 3D graphics data modeled by XML-based 3D graphics markup language, 3DGML, and support content-based retrievals on 3D data by using SQL. We also present a mapping technique of 3DGML to relational database. The mapping process includes the extraction of semantic information from 3DGML and translate it into relational format. Finally, we show examples of SQL queries which use the 3D information contained in a 3D scene such as objects, 3D features, descriptions and scene-object component hierarchy.

  • According to development of Information Technology and generalization of internet, practical use field of geography information became various. Therefor various Geographic Information System (GIS) constructed to manage geography information efficiently. However, geography information data of various form is depending on graphic authorizing tool of various form being not normalized each other. So, OGC(Open Geospatial Consortium) proposed GML(Geography Markup Language) that describe normalized geography information data that can apply mutually and W3C proposed SVG(Scalable Vector Graphics) of vector base. In this paper creates GML data of XML base for geography information data processing to vector graphic object, and design and implementation of GML document editing and translation system that define code converter that create GML document through created graphic objects and change vector graphic to logic structure of XML base.
