건설사업 관리 (CM)에서의 안전관리 모델에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Model of Safety Management in the Construction Management)

  • Construction Management(CM) system, which was introduced some years ago to large national construction projects, such as the construction of Incheon New Airport, construction of high-speed railroad and World Cup stadiums, is considered to be still in its early stage and safety at each step of CM is very poorly controlled. In an attempt to improve such inferior safety management of domestic CM, this study made comparative analysis about operation system of safety management with CM system in domestic and abroad. Also suggested the model under consideration with CM, which is suitable for the situation of Korea.

A Note on the Selected Multicriteria Decision Methods and Their Applications

  • In this study, we are concerned with the comparative aspects of five selected methods of decision making with respect to their adequacy in helping complex decisions about real-world problems. We examine the methods in terms of outlines, procedures and advantages/disadvantages to identify similarities and differences among them with the aim of showing which method is more likely to gain greater attention both in academia and in practice. To illustrate different courses of deployment of the methods, we offer an application with a case of airport transportation project in this paper. Some discussions on AHP and other methods are presented.

차세대 공용여객처리시스템 적용에 대한 효과 및 확대 가치에 관한 연구 - 인천국제공항 사례 중심으로 - (A Study on the effectiveness and expansive values of applying the next common use passenger processing systems - Focusing on case studies of Incheon International Airport -)

  • 차세대 공용여객처리시스템(Common Use Passenger Processing Systems or CUPPS)은 국제항공운송협회(International Air Transport Association, IATA)에서 제정한 항공사의 체크인 시스템인 디씨에스(Departure Control System or DCS)와 연계하여 승객의 체크인 및 보딩(boarding) 업무를 처리하는 새로운 공용시스템 국제 표준이다. IATA는 2009년 8월 CUPPS 표준을 제정하여 2012년 11월까지 기존의 Vendor들이 개별적으로 제공하고 있던 큐트(Common Use Terminal Equipment or CUTE)를 CUPPS 로 전환할 것을 전 세계 공항과 항공사에 권고하였다. IATA는 향후 CUPPS 전환 시 항공사의 공용시스템 관련 개발 및 각종 디바이스 컨트롤의 표준화로 시스템 구축, 관리 및 유지보수 비용이 감소될 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다. 또한 최종 사용자인 항공사는 지금까지 각 vendor들이 제공한 각 지역 공항의 개별적인 공용 환경에 맞추어 개발하여야 했던 어플리케이션을 중복 개발하는 비용을 절감할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 인천공항공사(IIA)에서 국토부 R&D 사업으로 추진하고 개발이 완료된 CUPPS 표준의 에어큐스(Airport-Integrated Resources Common Use System or AIRCUS)에 대해 항공사 적용시험결과, 기존 Vendor들이 제공했던 CUTE 시스템과의 성능비교결과, 그리고 AIRCUS 시스템의 해외 수출 방안을 제시한다.

  • In 2013, Korea will become the world's second country to operate the urban Maglev system with the inauguration of demonstration line at Incheon International Airport. A prototype Maglev is under the test at KIMM's(Korea Institute of Machinery & Materials, Daejeon) track. This Maglev is an EMS(Electromagnetic suspension)-type vehicle of controlled $8{\pm}3mm$ air gap. The air gap between electromagnet and the guiderail in an EMS-type Maglev must be maintained within an allowable deviation by controlling the magnet. The air gap response is strongly dependent on the structural characteristics of the elevated guideway. For this reason, the interaction between the vehicle with electromagnets and the elevated guideway must be understood to ensure safe running. The purpose of this paper is to compare vibration characteristics of the vehicle on the switching system and other sections when the full weight condition of urban maglev vehicle that 26.5 tons per car(empty car weight 19 tons + passenger condition 7.5 tons), is applied. Through such results, Maglev vehicles and switching system can be established and the levitation stability can be improved.

A Decision Support Model for Financial Performance Evaluation of Listed Companies in The Vietnamese Retailing Industry

  • This paper aims to propose a Comprehensive Decision Support Model to evaluate retail companies' financial performance traded on the Vietnam Stock Exchange Market. The financial performance has been examined in terms of the valuations ratios, profitability ratios, growth rates, liquidity ratios, efficiency ratios, and leverage ratios. The data of twelve companies from the first quarter to the fourth quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020 were employed. The weights of 18 chosen financial ratios are calculated by using the Standard Deviation method (SD). Grey Relational Analysis technique was applied to obtain the final ranking of each company in each quarter. The results showed that leverage ratios have the most significant impact on the retail companies' financial performance and gives some long-term investment recommendations for stakeholders and indicated that the Taseco Air Services Joint Stock Company (AST), Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG), and Cam Ranh International Airport Services Joint Stock Company (CIA) are three of the top efficient companies. The three of the worst companies are Viglacera Corporation (VGC), Saigon General Service Corporation (SVC), and HocMon Trade Joint Stock Company (HTC). Furthermore, this study suggests that the GRA model could be implemented effectively to ranking companies of other industries in the future research.

환경영향평가에 있어서 보건영향평가의 방법, 절차 및 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on Methods, Procedures, and Practices of Health Impact Assessment)

  • Most environmental impact assessment(EIA) programs around the world require the consideration of human health impacts. Yet relatively few EIA documents adequately address those impacts. This article examines how, why, and to what extent health impacts are analyzed in environmental impact assessments. This article investigates these problems and provides recommendations to improve human health impact assessment(HIA), using methods, procedures and case study. Also, a comprehensive approach for the evaluation of possible health effects in an EIA is described, illustrated with the example of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Unlike many EIAs, we estimated quantitatively the impact of aircraft-related pollution in terms of the number of affected people for aircraft noise annoyance, odour annoyance and hypertension. In addition, an analysis of health registry data on cardiovascular and respiratory diseases and a short survey on annoyance and risk perception were carried out.

  • This study, the cause of an aviation security employees' job satisfaction and dissatisfaction will be understood and the data can be used as evidence to explain the position of the employees. Moreover, the results of this study shall be conducted to increase the level of service delivery and also to remove unsatisfactory factors. Thus, according to this research survey shows the understanding of the job satisfaction and service delivery influences on the overall job satisfaction of a secure enterprise's security screeners. As a results, by improving the job satisfaction of aviation security screeners, the world's most safe, convenient service and quick airport service delivery could be achieved. Therefore, in order to improve the level of Korea and the international competitiveness of airlines, the promotion of job satisfaction of employees would be very important. Moreover based on the results of this study, the advanced research on the recognition differences for service evaluation between the customers and security screeners are needed.

퍼지규칙을 이용한 AED 시스템 (AED System using Fuzzy Rules)

  • 최근 심장마비로 사망한 사례가 전 세계적으로 급속도로 늘고 있다. 그러므로 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해서, 공항, 학교, 가정에서에도 자동제세동기 설치가 의무화 되었고 AED 설치를 의무화 하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나, AED는 응급상황에서 사용 시 오작동이나 장비의 고장이 생긴 경우 AED가 비치되어 있어도 무용지물이 될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는, 이러한 문제점을 개선하기위해서, AED Simulator를 이용한 퍼지기법 시뮬레이션은 기존의 방법과 비교해서 외부 온도 조건 및 Tilt 조건을 고려 해서, 자가 진단시에 이상 검출 유무를 판단하는 지능형 모의 실험을 개발하였다. 모의실험 결과, 기존의 방법보다 고장 검출 확률이 30 % 정도 개선되는 것을 확인하였다.

Modeling and simulation of large crowd evacuation in hazard-impacted environments

  • Every year, many people are severely injured or lose their lives in accidents such as fire, chemical spill, public pandemonium, school shooting, and workplace violence. Research indicates that the fate of people in an emergency situation involving one or more hazards depends not only on the design of the space (e.g., residential building, industrial facility, shopping mall, sports stadium, school, concert hall) in which the incident occurs, but also on a host of other factors including but not limited to (a) occupants' characteristics, (b) level of familiarity with and cognition of the surroundings, and (c) effectiveness of hazard intervention systems. In this paper, we present EVAQ, a simulation framework for modeling large crowd evacuation by taking into account occupants' behaviors and interactions during an emergency. In particular, human's personal (i.e., age, gender, disability) and interpersonal (i.e., group behavior and interactions) attributes are parameterized in a hazard-impacted environment. In addition, different hazard types (e.g., fire, lone wolf attacker) and propagation patterns, as well as intervention schemes (simulating building repellent systems, firefighters, law enforcement) are modeled. Next, the application of EVAQ to crowd egress planning in an airport terminal under human attack, and a shopping mall in fire emergency are presented and results are discussed. Finally, a validation test is performed using real world data from a past building fire incident to assess the reliability and integrity of EVAQ in comparison with existing evacuation modeling tools.
